Spirit Guides - Expected Fashion Accessories, But Do They Exist?

So how is everyone with 'spiritual guidance' by apparent spirit guides? Where are you with making contact with these mythical 'wonders'?

I sound sarcastic with these opening lines. That's because I am! I've worked with the 'other side' now for most of my life; certainly since the age of 4, which is a good 52 years. And in all of that time, including a very successful 'professional' career as medium/clairvoyant/platform medium, I've NEVER had a guide. Not a single one!!

I've sat in open circles and meditated for years and years. I've had teachers and facilitators demand I have a guide, because 'you must have one because everybody has one' ... but no, I've never had one.

I strongly believe they are figments of our selves. We all have multiple personalities and 'voices in the ethers of the mind' ... and it's a solid belief of mine that guides are 'essential fashion accessories' for anyone with an ounce, or more, of psychic ability. It's like walking into a shop and buying the same clothes as everyone else, to look the same as everyone else.

Now, I tell a little white lie, I've never had illusory spiritual guides. But I have had beings in SOLID form appear before me, and work with me. It's well documented on here that my spiritual path kicked off as a four year old, when a 'merlin' in solid form visited me numerous times, and sat on my bed before going to sleep. The would take me on astral journeys around the universe.

I've had names given to me to call out to in my mind. I've had clear intervention from higher forces giving me flaming yod's, known as fire letters. Again all of this is well documented on here. I've had numerous lost friends make clear contact with me.

But through all of it ... my pathway has been SELF GUIDANCE ... and not a dangerous reliance on illusory spirit guides which may or may not exist. With my significant experience of the other worlds, and what's out there, it is a serious problem to rely on unknown entities that are clever confidence tricksters...

Just because the NEW AGE UNIFORM SHOP expects anyone spiritual to have guides, does not mean it is the right thing to do!

Think twice before continuing any pathway with  'spirit guides' no matter how sure you are they are the real deal. The only entity that knows you, and what you need, and knows where you need to go ... is your TRUE SELF. Your higher immortal knows everything you need to know ... 

A Risky Business?

Mediumship demonstrations, paranormal investigations and communication with other dimensions as an intuitive & sensitive. All these activities used to be a regular way of life all the way through the 1990's, through the early 21st century until early 2018.

But now they are currently a thing of the past. Something is not right any more, to undertake such dangerous and risky practices. All the way through this period, everything was blind faith, and undertaken blindly. Connections were assumed to be with who entities claimed they were.

Exchanged information was accurate and a high percentage of predictions given by these unseen entities proved to be correct. But then ... a realisation dawned, what if these entities were somehow confidence tricksters? Clever manipulators who were somehow masquerading as departed humans; and were able to access the akashic records of human experiences?

What was taken to be safe and a treasured gift to work with ... was suddenly discarded like an unwanted toy. And the practices are rarely undertaken now. They still are pursued, but in a much more guarded fashion - Matthew James

Spirit communication? Report of widow briefly reuniting with her husband during materialized seance

S.O.T.T: British Spiritualist journalist Maurice Barbanell commented about materialization seances in his 1949 memoir Power of the Spirit. He described seeing visitors from the ascended realm take shape "in what is, to all intents and purposes, a complex duplicate of the human body":

You see and handle forms which are solid and life-like. They are not ghosts. These materialised forms have a heartbeat and a pulse beat; their faces are perfectly formed with normal hues; their hands, complete even to fingernails, are warm to the touch and the grip is firm. The eyes have the usual pigmentation. The materialisations speak with voices which are replicas of the ones they had on earth. They move with human gait towards you. The colour of the hair follows the usual mortal fashion, blonde, brunette or grey as the case may be. Sometimes they even reproduce the clothing that they wore, but usually they are garbed in robes that drape the figure.

The substance that makes this possible is ectoplasm, which has been analysed. It is highly plastic and malleable. Just as protoplasm is the basis of material construction, so ectoplasm is the foundation for these materialised formations.

Materialisation is the apex of Spiritualism's phenomena, so far as a physical demonstration is concerned. Its purpose is to provide the supreme evidence for Survival.Maurice's 1959 memoir This Is Spiritualism includes a detailed description of a materialization seance with medium Louisa Bolt (Mrs. Ashdown) that he personally witnessed circa 1935; otherwise, he attended Direct Voice (disembodied voices) seances with her.
