Chakra Blocks - Myth Or Reality?
But do the chakras really exist? Are they a myth or a reality? Do chakra blockages REALLY happen, and do they really shape our spiritual development? That is the debate here ...
Personally, I've been involved in the psychic field since about 1984, and it was at that time when I first heard of the chakras. I undertook many disciplines and meditations to experience the chakras. But I was never convinced they existed. I've never seen anything that proves their existence, but I have experienced numerous INCREDIBLE energetic phenomenon. My pineal gland (The legendary Brow Chakra) has done strange things, I've seen incredible visions and still do to this day. My Kundalini has been activated, and I've felt awesome energies flow up and down my back, into my head, into my arms and feet. I've also felt all the negative effects of this incredible energy source - desperation, despair, suicidal tendencies, severe depression and a host of muscular and nervous system complaints. I've also felt the incredible euphoria of a so called 'crown opening' ONCE, and for a week I was seeing the world in a totally different way. I understood the concept of it being an illusion and a game and a virtual reality only. The energy flowing out of me was incredible, and the instant healings I was able to perform was crazy. A healing friend at the time had never felt an energy of such a magnitude before. My late mentor had taken me to a Hindu temple in Bolton, UK, and I was met with sheer amazement and disbelief by the HIndu Adepts there. It was impossible for me to be exhibiting the energy and the vibrational rate that I was. But was it the crown chakra opening? Unlikely as I think the chakras are imaginative and not real.
However I have found other explanations for these occurrences, and am not one who has fallen for the chakra explanations. I agree with the teachings of my old mentor who stated that it was impossible to open the crown chakra at this time. I'm amazed at the number of naive and ignorant individuals out there who claim to have opened their crown chakra. It's a dangerous pursuit and very likely the last thing you will ever do on this earth plane. Our minds are not equipped with the ability to deal with the consequences of such an action. The brow chakra relates, in my understanding, to the soft part of the head that closes off when a child is born. I know people talk of symbolic openings of the crown chakra. But are they all just following a 'fad stream'? Are chakras real or are they a new age fashion accessory?
It's the same with so called 'chakra blockages'. Put chakra blockages in a google search and there are 234,000 results. It's big business and seemingly a spiritual fact. So naturally everyone will accept the belief of chakras and blocked chakras because 'everyone else does'. But do they really exist/ There are thousands of sites on the net explaining what the symptoms of each blocked chakra is, together with offering a multitude of ways to unblock the chakra. But is it true? What I see here is a rehash and a regurgitation of the same old, same old information. Nobody is thinking for themselves here, which is so typical of the New Age movement. Person A writes on a subject and states it as a fact and everyone follows on the say of Person A. Nobody questions the myth. So,ok, with Chakras there is a Sanskrit origin for the word and a whole Eastern tradition around chakras. But where is the proof that they exist and that they can be blocked. I'm showing my skepticism here I know, which is rare, but I've been mulling over this question for about 20 years. I've yet to see real proof it is the chakras that is responsible for all the energetic phenomenon which has happened to me. Phenomenon which so called teachers have said is due to my chakras. I've had unexplained phenomenon and experiences too which do not fit into chakra moulds by the way.
In meditation I've sought out these fabled wheels, I've asked the other dimensions for their help. All I ever get in response is the question 'do they really exist, as they don't do over here'. This has been said to me countless times.
And in recent months I've heard people stating that some chakras are 47% blocked or 75% blocked. And that by a vibrational healing method they can undo these blockages. My claircognizance (Which rarely lets me down) has been hitting me hard with its 'no' or 'this isn't right' responses, and I've been very questioning of these claims. It does not sit right with me. It's too easy to fall for it because of the overwhelming 'blind faith' belief in these invisible wheels. There are heaps of hapless souls out there with vivid imaginations who will state categorically that the chakras do exist and they can be blocked. They will claim also that their crown chakra is open wide, and I will just go 'whatever' to them. My own extensive research over 31 years says otherwise. I've experienced a multitude of things that are not even on the internet. Real experiences that are solid and real. Fire letters that enter the pineal gland for example and then burn your entire consciousness with an incredible energy. Now that is real and I can say that Fire Letters are REAL. I've had screaming noises inside my head that are REAL and very scary. I've have had many such experiences I know are real. Yet in all this time I've only ever imagined the chakras and their effects. Plenty of energy burns and energy anomalies - which can all be explained away as bio-electrochemical energy through the endocrine system - life force energy (Ki energy in other worlds) ... I accept that KI energy is real. But chakras? And chakra blockages, Unlikely in my experience - Matthew James

Chakra Blocks - Myth Or Reality?
Everyone familiar with the New Age jargon that made its appearance back in the late 1980's, will have heard of the Chakras - invisible energy vortexes or wheels that drive the psychic energies throughout our spiritual bodies. Although there are supposedly hundreds of such chakras, focus is paid to the main seven chakras and the way they apparently control our spiritual development. But do the chakras really exist? Are they a myth or a reality? Do chakra blockages REALLY happen, and do they really shape our spiritual development? That is the debate here ...

What is Reiki?
The word Reiki is made of two Japanese words - Rei which means "God's Wisdom or the Higher Power" and Ki which is "life force energy". So Reiki is actually "spiritually guided life force energy."
A treatment feels like a wonderful glowing radiance that flows through and around you. Reiki treats the whole person including body, emotions, mind and spirit creating many beneficial effects that include relaxation and feelings of peace, security and wellbeing. Many have reported miraculous results.
Reiki is a simple, natural and safe method of spiritual healing and self-improvement that everyone can use. It has been effective in helping virtually every known illness and malady and always creates a beneficial effect. It also works in conjunction with all other medical or therapeutic techniques to relieve side effects and promote recovery.
An amazingly simple technique to learn, the ability to use Reiki is not taught in the usual sense, but is transferred to the student during a Reiki class. This ability is passed on during an "attunement" given by a Reiki master and allows the student to tap into an unlimited supply of "life force energy" to improve one's health and enhance the quality of life.
Its use is not dependent on one's intellectual capacity or spiritual development and therefore is available to everyone. It has been successfully taught to thousands of people of all ages and backgrounds.
While Reiki is spiritual in nature, it is not a religion. It has no dogma, and there is nothing you must believe in order to learn and use Reiki. In fact, Reiki is not dependent on belief at all and will work whether you believe in it or not. Because Reiki comes from God, many people find that using Reiki puts them more in touch with the experience of their religion rather than having only an intellectual concept of it.
While Reiki is not a religion, it is still important to live and act in a way that promotes harmony with others.

Reiki is ...
It is the way of using the universal energy or life force to induce a healing reaction. To explain this little better there is energy within us and energy around us what the reiki practitioner does is a process of channeling that energy throughout their own body down their arms and out at the palms. The energy is passed on by laying on the hands on the client’s body in various places. All clients are clothed and aura healing (hands above the body) can be used too. The energy is absorbed into the client’s body which promotes healing. The energy flows can normally be felt as a warm sensation or tingling in the body.
Reiki relieves pain, promotes natural self-healing, aids meditation, promote positive thinking, relaxes you, reduces stress, treats illnesses, strengthen immune system, balance the body, clears toxins, erase addictions, and can release blocked or suppressed feelings. It promotes health and is a good preventive technique. Reiki will enrich your life and give you happiness and health on all levels. Reiki is safe and does not harm anyone. (Reiki should never be used instead of medical treatment, it should be used as a compliment and a way to become and remain healthy.)...read more>>>...

Self-Healing with Reiki
Reiki can be used to heal others. But more importantly, it can very well be used to heal your own self. There are many ways you can do so.
Every one of us has unique personal qualities. And these qualities can be improved greatly to make you a better person. You can turn these qualities into abilities and skills, which could help you greatly in life. However, we must live well and wisely. That’s the only way you can lead a life of development, growth, and healing.
Try to look back in your life. How many choices have you made that turned your life around? Every decision that you do has a powerful effect to your own existence. Your decisions become a part of what you are and who you become. Not all your choices are correct. It is but human nature to make mistakes. But what’s more important is for you to learn from your errors. If you are able to understand your wrongness, you are not likely to repeat the blunder.
If you are in a spot wherein your life is in a tumble because of your wrong decisions in life, Reiki can outwardly help you to correct it. Try to heal, change, and recreate your life towards the correct path. Reiki’s self-healing techniques can be very beneficial for this purpose.
One good teaching of Reiki revolves around balance. Know that the whole universe exists in a balanced state. As such, all your life’s difficulties have solutions. There can’t be a problem without a solution. Every challenging situation has a way out. This is what the concept of universal balance implies.
In order to find the solution, it is very important that you have the definiteness of purpose. Sustain your will and purpose. Over time, good things will happen to you. Having a definite purpose always produces the best results. Set your goals and purposes early on. Then focus on it up until you are able to attain it. Use Reiki to your advantage to further your purpose. In time, self-healing will be attained. If you pursue your purpose with passion, you will be healed faster.
Keep in mind that the mind acts similar to a magnet. It attracts everything that you think of. Think hard about your goal. And the attraction would compound greatly. Set your mind towards your objectives. This is very helpful in improving your self or any of your qualities. Hold the thought, believe in it definitely, and know that it will happen. Sooner or later, it will. The power of Reiki is based on this fact.
Remember that everyone has their own purpose in life. Therefore, everybody has a task to accomplish. And those tasks may require one or more special abilities. This is why you need to heal and improve yourself so that your personal qualities will be honed to perfection. It is part of your task to fully express your talents to the whole world. The Divine Being gave these talents to you. You are supposed to use them for everybody’s benefits. (New Age Articles)

Girasol
Girasol also metaphysically enhances communication and will help the user to speak thoughts that otherwise might be difficult to express. It enhances creativity in artists and business people, and it is a powerful healing stone that firmly yet gently enhances healing of spiritual, emotional and physical wounds. Girasol's unique capability allows it to connect to a user's energy, cleanse it and circulate it so that self-healing becomes possible and the user is less dependent on outside energy stimulation.Girasol supports specific healing processes for diabetes, immune system imbalances, and chronic fatigue syndrome. Girasol is not recommended for crystal layouts, but rather it is recommended that the stone be held by the user to establish the energy connection. This stone is commonly used by healers prior to a healing session to encourage energy flow and healing in clients who are particularly blocked. It is also used effectively in distance healing techniques such as those applied by Reiki practitioners. Girasol is technically Opaline Quartz and, therefore, should be placed within the "Quartz" category. Hardness is 5-6 and Specific Gravity is 2.0-2.2.

A Word on 'Reiki Attunement'
The attunement procedure is a ceremony of spirit. In this ceremony the Reiki master uses the Reiki symbols and other gestures in a prescribed way. This ceremony creates an energy pattern around the recipient of the attunement which entrains (or attunes) their energy field to the energies represented by the symbols. The attunement is permanent, thus making the recipient a Reiki practitioner, only if the master uses the symbol for the "subconscious". If this symbol is not used the entrainment is temporary only.

A Word on 'Reiki'
Reiki practitioners believe the healing techniques and abilities must be given from a Reiki master, to those wishing to do Reiki healing. These abilities are “imparted” for a fee, in stages. In each stage, you get a new “secret symbol” and an “attunement”, that allows you to perform the next level of healing. Practitioners believe that a Reiki master must “give” the various levels of ability to someone.
In the field of magic, you know, like black magic, white magic, etc., there are various levels of learning and skill. Being able to do magic with just thought, is the highest form. Ritual magic, is the lower form. Ritual magic involves the use of magical “props”, “symbols”, and ceremonies. Ritual magic is how a magician begins learning however. Using the props and ceremonies helps a magician believe in the magic, and thus develop their thought ability. When one believes something is real, the mind begins to make it real. But once mastered, the magician learns that only the mind is required.
Reiki involves using “symbols”. If this helps the practitioner, that’s ok. But we know that the same energy, actually more, can be wielded with just visualization. And more effectively. This “triggers” the mind, belief, and generates the energy flow without the need for, or limitation of, symbols. Advanced Reiki, see? Then it is merely a matter of directing your energy where you want it, via visualisation. (Source: Atlantis.to)

The Five Reiki Principles
Anger at others or oneself or at the whole world, creates serious blockages in one's energy. It is the most complex inner enemy.
Reiki is an excellent tool to remove anger blockages which have accumulated in the body over years, but it cannot remove the residue of current anger which occurs daily.
Letting go of anger. brings Piece into the Mind.
II - Just for today, I will not worry.
While anger deals with past and present events, worry deals with future ones. Although worry is not always a negative phenomena, endless worries may fill one's head, and each one bores a small hole in one's body and soul. While anger requires a focused Reiki treatment to remove obstacles, worry requires the energy to be spread throughout the entire body.
Letting go of worry, brings healing into the Body.
III - Just for today, I will be grateful.
Be grateful from your hart inward. Inner intention is the important element in this principle. Simple things as thanks, forgiveness, smile, good words, gratitude can improve others life and make them happy.
Being thankful brings Joy into the Spirit.
IV - Just for today, I will do my work honestly.
Support yourself and your family respectably, without harming others. Earn a respectable living, live a life of honour.
Working Honestly brings Abundance into the Soul.
V- Just for today, I will be kind to every living thing.
Honour your parents, honour your teachers, honour your elders.
Being Kind brings Love into the Will.

Understanding Illness In The Body
Our own thought patterns effect the health of our body. Each emotional thought pattern is really an underlying "cause" of a physical illness. Understanding the illness can help you address the cause and thereby riding the body of the disease. That doesn't mean that you can forgo mainstream medicine all together. Sometimes when you don't listen to the messages of your body; the issue progresses and requires medical attention. These metaphysical concepts can help you understand why the illness formed, and how you can include metaphysical practices to help support the medical treatment from your physician.
Each part of the body has a corresponding emotion that relates to the way you think, feel and react to situations. If you know the positive and negative aspects of these areas, you can direct healing energy to that section of the body that will need healing the most.

Healing With Hands
Though life can be complicated, healing your mind and body should be a simple process. Many of today's methods of healing are unpleasant and expensive. Reiki is a natural hands-on healing art that can be easily learned and performed on yourself or a recipient. It is uncomplicated but very powerful because it rids your body of toxic energies and creates balance in the mind, body and spirit.
The Japanese word Reiki refers to universal life force, or Chi, energy that exists within all things. In its simplest form, it involves one person placing his or her hands on another to become an open channel for Reiki energy to flow through. The energy is drawn into the recipient, where it strengthens the life force and gives the body the energy it needs to heal itself.
Channeling the life force energy can leave you with feelings of peace, relaxation and security while it treats your or a recipient's mind and spirit. You can perform Reiki on pets, your home and even your car, infusing your possessions with beneficial energy that will promote safety and well-being.
Learning Reiki is easy. Much in the same way Reiki is performed, the ability to use the technique is transferred from master to student by opening the student's energy field to allow it to act as a conduit.

Reiki Hand Positions
With the simple act of placing the hands on oneself or on another person Reiki energy automatically flows.
You would usually start with drawing the Dai Ko Mio, Hon Sha Ze Sho Nen, Sei He Ki and Cho Ku Rei symbols over the client, three times for each symbol.
Than you start channelling Reiki energy through your hands to yourself or to the recipient's head, front of the body, back, knees and feet. This enables the energy to flow right to the source of the problem and not just the manifesting symptom. Reiki energy goes to where ever the recipient needs it most. Remember not to force where the energy is going, just let it flow through you to your client.
During a typical session place your hands on the different locations of the body for 3-5 minutes each, or hold until you feel you should move your hands away ( use your intuition). Cup hands slightly, fingers holding together, the lighter the touch the better. You or your client should be lying down comfortably on a treatment table or sitting on a chair if they so wish.

Hon Sha Ze Sho Nen
Pronunciation: Hanh-shah-zay-show-nen Alias: The Distance Symbol
Meaning: The God ( The Buddha, the Christ,..) in Me Greets the God in You to Promote Enlightenment and Piece
This is the Distant Healing Symbol and it is used to send Reiki over distance and time (past, present, future), to anyone and anything.
It is also drawn when sending a distant attunement.

What is Reiki?
Reiki is a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes healing. It is administered by "laying on hands" and is based on the idea that an unseen "life force energy" flows through us and is what causes us to be alive. If one's "life force energy" is low, then we are more likely to get sick or feel stress, and if it is high, we are more capable of being happy and healthy.
