Learner's Folly

Spiritual development is dangerous, but it is also the most incredible experience you can ever have. It is a two edged sword or a two sided coin because it deals with thought form energy; and the energy in question influences the way your think and ultimately the way you act. When it all goes wrong, there is only yourself to blame because it was you who ultimately chose to wander that path. The universe will never chastise you for the choice you make. This universe is after all a curious consciousness that is learning all about itself through all its multiple facets that are the living organisms within its boundaries.

So the right choice of spiritual development is essential as the first step to take. It boils down to the intention you have that sparks your desire to develop your spirit on earth. The right intention, which relates to knowing what your higher self requires for its avatar on earth, is so damn important. Spiritual development is not for party tricks or to impress your friends or family. It is not a toy that can be discarded once you start. It is a way of life and a pathway that has major impacts on your life on this planet.

If you are placed in the wrong hands during the early stages ... when you are the earth sparrow or are wearing the learner plates ... that choice of spiritual teacher can ruin your life, your psyche and your awareness. It can be very damaging for all those around you besides yourself. The folly of jumping in with both feet, too early without prior knowledge of what you are getting yourself in to is more than often a fatal mistake. Naivety and lack of appreciation of the dangers involved with the occult and the supernatural are common place. The fall out from this initial wrong choice of spiritual teacher will ruin your life. Not immediately because in the honeymoon period your ego will create wonderful visionary mirages that conceal what is really happening to you. But once that honeymoon period wears off and your life path is awash with pain, sorrow and disappointment you will be left questioning why this has happened?

Just remember no experience is the wrong experience providing you learn from your experiences and grow through them. Spiritual development has a knack of eventually sensing the right experiences to you for your soul growth. But it also has a habit of teaching you vital lessons often with bitter consequences to overcome - Matthew James

The Gift is in the Giving

The gift is in the giving, not in the having of the gift. It is not all about you and what you are. Its not about the banners and the titles or the attention you may receive. It is not about being recognised for man made titles that have been given to you. It is not about anything that feeds the false ego. If that is what you think having a psychic ability is all about then you have been misguided.

It is all about using that gift to help others selflessly. It is in truth often a bitter curse as it leads you down difficult roads and into dire straits. There is a tireless dedication, I term 'the tempering of the blade' that takes decades to wander through. It is this phase of the initiation that the selfish ego cannot tolerate. It wants everything as easy as possible, and as quickly as possible. Those who have the true gift are patient, and tireless and accepting of all that is thrown in their path. Very few of those driven by the ego can make it to the grade of the minerval student. Those who rush into this field we term those of the 'Icarus grade' ...

Why Change The Habit Of A Lifetime Now?

People are currently asking me to write more. 'Write about what?' I ask. Let your intuition lead you and explain about things close to your heart they say. I always make the excuse that 'I haven't the time'. Which is actually true, as there are not enough hours in the day between my 1-2-1 clients, phone clients and nature walks. I am writing again however ... I've resurrected my Intensive Mediumship Training sessions, so I'm currently writing up new module notes. I do these from scratch. Based on my own experiences. I do not cut and paste from the internet. My notes are own own. My concepts and training methods are my own. Which makes the process such a long winded one. So that's even less hours in the day to write. 

I blog to chill and relax. This is my down time. This and my nature photography are my recharge moments. Plus I need to get in as much walking as I can for health reasons. Once upon a time I would undertake around 2-3 hours a day in meditation, more often than not early in the morning as well as in an organised group. But that is not possible any more. Sadly. I do however meditate last thing at night to help me drift into sleep. My brain refuses to switch off so its the only way for me to log off these days. 

Where was I? My Intensive Mediumship Training has been changed slightly to IMT True Mentoring, due to the fact a 'novice' psychic medium has chosen to compete with me and describes their inexperienced methods as 'intensive mediumship training'. There is nothing I can do about the fact apart from brush myself down and rebrand my product in a different way. The mentoring sessions are being launched in a new way. A new web site is in the pipleine but for now  .. I still have the name Intensive Mediumship Training on my website http://imtworkshops.com/ where I describe the training as "Matthew James is the proud founder and sole facilitator of Intensive Mediumship Training™ modules. But it just shows you how brass necked and hard faced many people are. How ruthless this certain individual is, and what you are up against in the world. My attitude I suppose is commendable ... I just accept it and get on with things in the best ways I can after having my good name blackened and trade affected by this person. I've been around a long time in this business and have learnt that trends and mind sets have been around forever, its just a different face but the same mentality. 

I agree I need to write more regularly, to change the subject back to my original intention of this post. My mind is filled with the blossoming ideas of my new mentoring concept. So I guess I need to share with you, without giving away too many secrets,  my mentoring concepts and my spiritual background.

'How did it start?' 'What do I see and what made me turn to being a mystic?' All the usual life story reveals I guess ... because everyone's story is unique they say. Well mine is unique for sure. I am something of an enigma and a one off. I follow my own path and always have done. I guess I always will. The one that is open to ridicule and scorn ... its always been the case. The Tempering of the Blade

A true self has no limits with regard to its awareness and its capabilities. It has no craving for identity or comparison. It just IS. Existing within the limitless eternity which is universal consciousness it is because it is; it cannot be what it isn't.

With the false ego under a strict rein, the True Self perceives this reality in the light of the truth vibration. It will only be what it is, and will not try to be what it is not or cannot be. For it has no need to compete, it is free from the cravings of recognition or adoration.

The desire for a 'title' and an 'identity' no longer exists when the shackles of the false ego dissolve. It matters not to the true self what others do or what others say. The true self just IS ...

Those who enter the True path commence at the Minerval Grade ... and can only be accepted as a student at the Neophyte Grade when they exhibit consistently traits of one who has the false ego, and the selfish separate self, STRICTLY under control. They must walk the otherworlds alone, with no assumed and imagined guides by their side.

They who truly wish to LEARN and TRULY SPIRITUALLY grow will willingly walk the pathway known as "THE TEMPERING OF THE BLADE".

There are many, many souls who step forward at this time, but so few are truly willing to let their souls truly grow. They are sadly like sheep in the fold permitting their false ego to chase false trails. 'Forgive them for they know not what they do' ... it is time for the true teachers to come forth and lead them away from the fold and on to the mountainside.

E.S.P And Spirit Awareness

So what is E.S.P and what is SPIRIT AWARENESS?

E.S.P or Extra Sensory Perception is basically the use of any senses which are outside the range of our normal, human five senses. 

These are the psychic ‘clairs’ , and Mediumship which is effectively ‘direct telepathy between levels of consciousness regardless where that level of consciousness is within existence’. It is also the re-connection of one part of the oneself awareness with another aspect of itself.

E.S.P is therefore a more natural state of communication and awareness than human beings are presented with in their limited five sensory reality. 

SPIRIT AWARENESS is all about remembering about our true selves, our true potential and our true nature. We are not really souls trapped in a human body doomed to failure in a selfish world. The Art Of Spiritual Discernment Part 1

There certainly has been an uplift in spiritual awareness in the last decade. The age of awakening is taking pace for sure. However, the degree of ignorance and naivety in the occult arts is at an all time high! The problem is the lack of proper training in the psychic arts. There are too many 'five minute courses' and too much easy access to spiritual material via the internet. There is insufficient warning relating to 'dabbling' in the occult arts. The level of immaturity is scary. Too many so called practitioners have ego dominated personalities, desperate for a quick fix for fame and fortune. Sadly it is a dangerous cocktail. All those out there who are peddling their psychic trades too soon are playing Russian Roulette with their lives and the lives of their clients. 

I recently saw a picture of a psychic on social media claiming to have a deceased relation captured in the photograph. Sadly, it was anything but that. There was clear signs of an attachment and a lower entity captured in the photo. Yet, followers were praising this psychic for such a fantastic photo. They were oblivious too! But how do you tell what is what with connections? How do you know if something claiming to be an angelic connection, an ascended master or a deceased relation, is indeed what they claim? Take for example the paranormal photo above .. how can you tell if the entities in the photo are 'good' or 'bad'??? 

It is the basic principles of magical training which come into effect in these instances. EVERY connection must be rigorously tested until valid evidential proof is received. A name is NOT suffice. It has to be proven evidence that is not known at the time. The process is rigorous and cannot be learned in a hurry. It has to be expedited over decades of dedicated training. It is your spirit that will tell you ... and test the links.

Fear is defined as an unpleasant, often strong emotion caused by anticipation or awareness of danger, a state marked by this emotion.  Also fear, dread, fright, alarm, panic, trepidation.  As if this wasn't bad enough, fear is actually much worse than this...fear is what keeps us from being and  becoming whole human beings.  You can dress fear up in any one of a number of outfits, you can call it anger, grief, rage, jealousy, depression...but fear is still fear - it is any negative emotion that keeps you from being the best you can be. 

Fear is the opposite of love and a negative emotion that you   need to eliminate from your life.  Fear never kept your safe, not one moment of your life, and it's a terrible way to live. 

One method of  facing your fear, whatever it is, is to fully go into it - feel it - think about how it would feel to do the thing you fear, or how you would cope with the loss of a loved one, or what's the worst that would happen if you spoke up to the person who's been pushing you around.  Whatever it is that you fear...go into it...feel it...and come out the other side of your fear.  Once you start to face your fears and try to come out on the other side of them, the next thing to do is to force yourself to take some low-risk chances.  

Challenge yourself, and with every low-risk challenge you take, your fear will start to fall away.  Even if you don't succeed, your confidence and self-esteem will rise with every risk you take.  The only thing you risk is failure, and it's not even failing if you take a chance.  When you confront your fears you have nothing to lose but fear...what a wonderfully freeing concept!

What is your deepest fear? Or fears? Are you ready to face them … do you know how to face them?   

The theory bit is that … scientists tell us that the journey we build in our mind is as real to the brain as our dail experiences. The world of the subconscious mind is a real world with real      beings. The water is just as wet, the sun is just as hot. The only difference is that we can do things in that world we cannot do in this world. Why? Because in the inner world we admit to no      barriers. We use the same powers and senses we have in the real world, but there we believe in them. We think we are dreaming, but it IS real and can use the finer matter of that world to change this one
