Clueless Extinction Rebellion Protesters Don't Know What CO2 Stands For

[S.O.T.T]: Extinction Rebellion (ER) is a silly movement that was originally established in the UK in May 2018.

A snapshot of what ER activists have been up to includes gluing themselves to an election bus, going on hunger strike, attempting to glue themselves to the top of a train, smashing windows at the Department of Transport with a hammer and screwdriver, attempting to shutdown an airport, and attempting to spray 1,800 liters of fake blood at a government building in London (the latter attempt backfiring embarrassingly).

ER has also reached the Netherlands with a Dutch version of its website trying to lure in people from all ages to join their nonsensical cause and protests. In the week of October 7th, 2019, hundreds of ER members attempted to block the Stadshouderskade in Amsterdam, an important road in the city.

Perhaps most revealing of all, however, was when Mark Baanders, a reporter with the controversial Dutch broadcaster PowNed, went to the protests and discovered how little the protesters actually knew about what they were protesting about.

[S.O.T.T]: The similarities between the eco-moralists of Extinction Rebellion and the Sparrows cult from Game of Thrones are uncanny.

There is a long held theory that film and television can be tools of prophecy used to glimpse into the future.

Game of Thrones in particular is a bellwether when it comes to entertainment as prophecy. The show's first episode, 'Winter is Coming,' aired in 2011 and that phrase quickly became the series tagline. Billboards warning that "Winter is Coming," portending an invasion by undead White Walkers and their zombie minions, soon loomed ominously over cities and towns across America.

Why would eco-activists who snarled New York City traffic by supergluing themselves to a boat in Times Square, took a hammer to a government building in London, grounded a flight from London to Dublin, and plotted to use drones to shut down Heathrow, remind anyone of 'Game of Thrones?' Well, because these fanatics are eerily reminiscent of a group of religious zealots called the Sparrows.

The Sparrows and their leader, the High Sparrow, came to prominence in King's Landing after the death of Tywin Lannister. The cult attracted great numbers of followers to their devout way of life, including some royals like Ser Lancel Lannister, who was the former incestuous lover of his cousin, Cersei Lannister.

Both the Sparrows and Extinction Rebellion were born out of noble intentions, as the Sparrows set out to alleviate the suffering of the downtrodden, and Extinction Rebellion were concerned about the environment.

Both groups are also religious in nature. The Sparrows ardently worship the Faith of the Seven and brutally torture sinners and violently coerce them to confess, just as Cersei was forced to do a naked walk of shame to atone for her sins.

The bottom line about both groups is that their true purpose is to usurp power in order to implement their radical agenda.

The High Sparrow played a masterful game of political chess, setting the Lannisters and Tyrells against one another in order to wrest control of the Iron Throne for himself. He exploited the political ambitions of the Tyrells and the weakness of Cersei Lannister's impressionable young son, King Tommen, in an attempt to gain power and turn his religious beliefs into royal decree.

Extinction Rebellion's strategy is equally Machiavellian. Their abrasive tactics of creating traffic jams and airport delays are only going to irritate and aggravate working people, thus creating enemies instead of allies. But Extinction Rebellion doesn't care about gaining popular support.

The movement believes in Gene Sharp's theory of non-violent action which claims that protest movements only need the support of 3.5 percent of the population to trigger mass changes.

Basden asserts that whatever climate problems exist can’t be fixed and that the movement should instead be focused on tearing down the entire system of western capitalism (China, the world’s biggest polluter, isn’t mentioned once).

He claims that “European civilisation” is to blame for spreading “cruelty” and “violence” throughout the globe for the last 600 years and bringing “torture, genocide, carnage and suffering to the ends of the earth.”

He then cites numerous “delusions” which are to blame for this situation, including “white supremacy,” “patriarchy” and “class hierarchy” (a strange one given that most Extinction Rebellion protesters are upper middle class snobs who do little but inconvenience and harm the working class).

“The delusions of hetero-sexism/heteronormativity propagate the idea that heterosexuality is ‘normal’ and that other expressions of sexuality are deviant,” writes Basden.

So it’s not about climate change, it’s about ending the idea that heterosexuality is the default biological breeding setting for humankind.

Furious commuters drag Extinction Rebellion protesters from the roof of a London Underground train as demonstrators are forced to admit bringing more chaos to the capital's travel network 'was a huge own goal'

A video shows a bearded middle-aged man walking on top of the train as a crush of commuters jeer at him to get down. One throws a cup of coffee over the protestor and then a group give one man a boost so he can reach the protestor's ankle and drag him off the carriage to the platform.

Once he hits the ground a baying mob surrounds him and commuters are caught on camera seemingly kicking and attacking the man, before a London Underground employee steps in.

British Transport Police have so far made at least four arrests, at Canning Town and at Stratford. At Shadwell protestors glued themselves to an electric DLR train.

The protestors' antics at Underground stations are part of a resurgence from the eco-activist group, which says today its members will target both the tube network and Gatwick airport.

PETER HITCHENS: One day it will be impossible to criticise the fanatics of Extinction Rebellion. Until then, I’ll tell the truth about those irrational zealots

[David Icke]: It will soon be impossible to criticise the fanatics of Extinction Rebellion.

In fact, I will not be at all surprised if, in years to come, I and others face prosecution for having dared to doubt them.

Soon we will be sitting in an impoverished, dark country, with a trashed economy, incessant power cuts and dismal standard of living, caused by their dogma.

Putting people on trial for warning against this will be one way to keep warm and occupied.

So, while I still may, I’ll say that this is one of the nastiest and stupidest outbreaks of intolerant, irrational zealotry since mankind emerged from the Dark Ages. I speak as a former intolerant zealot, who grew out of it. I know the fierce joy which comes from despising others, only too well. And I fear it.

Perhaps the most dispiriting version of it is to be seen in the painted, beatific faces of the red-robed mime-artists who are to be found on so many of the demonstrations demanding that this country commits economic suicide. Who can tell what is going on behind those self-satisfied, ethereal expressions? But they give these marches a strong whiff of the Age of Inquisitions, which I once thought we had escaped.

I won’t try to argue here on the rightness or wrongness of the Warmists’ theory about the causes of climate change. I know from long, multiple experience that they respond to reasonable doubt with fury and defamatory cries of ‘denier’. I spend much of my life in debate, and will take on any rational opponent. But there are some causes you can’t reason with, and this is one of them. They prefer fury to logic. This is always the sign of someone who is not sure of his own case, and hates to hear his inner doubts spoken.

I have yet to get one of them to respond to this simple point. We recently closed and demolished Didcot ‘A’ coal-fired power station, an efficient, reasonably modern plant with a generating capacity of about 1.44 gigawatts. Why? Why not at least mothball it? But no such caution is allowed in the great cause of cutting CO2 emissions.

Look at the facts: an enormous 259 gigawatts (180 Didcots) of new coal-fired capacity are under development in China. That’s on top of the 993 gigawatts of coal-burning capacity China already possesses (690 Didcots).

The UK’s whole electrical generation capacity, in all forms of power, is 85 gigawatts (59 Didcots). If we gave up using electricity entirely, it would make no difference at all to the impact of Chinese coal burning on the atmosphere.

None. Not any. Zero. If we completely abolish all our fossil-fuel generation, including gas, it would likewise not matter in the slightest – except to us, our economy and our standard of living.

China’s planned increase, yes, increase, in coal power is three times the size of our whole electricity-generation industry – wind, nuclear gas, and all. India is also increasing coal generation and last March reached a coal capacity of 200 gigawatts (139 Didcots).

I have said it before. I’ll keep saying it. Thanks to the political and media class’s dim acceptance of shouted propaganda, and their rejection of reason, we are already damaging ourselves.

The news comes after the cross-party Transport Select Committee announced it was starting a “national debate” on road pricing, with a formal inquiry beginning in 2020.

[David Icke]: Eco-activist group Extinction Rebellion (XR) are holding a global day of “civil disobedience” with disruptive actions underway and causing chaos and outrage in major cities around the world.

Protesters in Berlin gathered at the Victory Column near the Brandenburg Gate Monday morning. In a tweet, XR said “1000 rebels are finally demanding serious measures from our government” in the fight against climate change. The action continued into the evening with Potsdamer Platz, which was at some point occupied by some 3,000 protesters, according to the local media.

Hundreds of protesters attempted to stage sit-ins at the iconic central square, forcing the police to move in to clear the area. Reports said the officers were acting “with restraint” as they faced little resistance while “carrying people away” from the area. No information on the number of arrests has yet been released.

Fury as Extinction Rebellion ‘deface’ a famous White Horse monument with their hourglass logo just weeks after schoolchildren helped restore it

[David Icke]: Neighbours of a famous White Horse have accused Extinction Rebellion of 'defacing' the monument by covering it with their logo just weeks after schoolchildren helped restore it.

The activists used dark cloth to create their hourglass symbol on the top of the Alton Barnes White Horse in Wiltshire, which was cut in 1812. It angered locals who re-chalked the precious site back in August, using 46 tonnes of pristine rock dumped from a RAF Chinook helicopter.

Rob Sutherland, whose 11-year-old daughter Molly was among the restoration team, said: 'The children are all aware of the issues around climate and they want to make it better.

'But they can't comprehend why the white horse was chosen for this. Hundreds of people helped re chalk it in August.

'This is not a good way for Extinction Rebellion to publicise their cause.'

Another local Graham Newland blasted the activists as 'cheap anarchists', and said: 'This is a wanton act of vandalism.

'Besides disrespecting the children who they claim to act for and angering them and the community who lovingly restored this fragile precious chalk environment, these so called protectors of the planet have done their bit to damage it.

'Besides breaking down the chalk (bad), the chalk is clearly poisoned with chemicals and damaged today as a direct result of their actions.'

[David Icke]: Environmental campaigners are planning to disrupt Heathrow on Friday as they escalate their protests in an attempt to highlight the climate crisis and demand the government takes urgent action.

Activists, who have successfully blockaded four landmark sites in central London for the past four days, said they will target the airport at the start of the Easter bank holiday.

On Thursday, Heathrow said it was working with authorities to deal with the threat of protests that could disrupt flights.

The home secretary, Sajid Javid, said more than 1,000 officers have been deployed each day to deal with the demonstrations in the capital, as he urged the police to use the “full force of the law”.

[David Icke]: Police have revealed more than 100 people were arrested on Waterloo Bridge last night and this morning as climate change protesters failed to abide an order allowing them to only congregate at Marble Arch.

So far, 122 people have been held as part of the ongoing Extinction Rebellion (XR) demonstrations, the majority of which were for breaching a public order offence and obstructing the highway.

The XR group yesterday targeted Marble Arch, Oxford Circus, Waterloo Bridge, and Parliament Square in a series of road blockades, which it warned could last for weeks.
