Astral Projection: Just a Mind Trip?

 The idea that humans can leave their bodies during dream states is ancient. Countless people, from New Agers to shamans around the world, believe that it is possible to commune with cosmic intelligence through visions and vivid dreams experienced during astral projection, also known as out-of-body experiences. Archon Attack!

I had a very weird experience and physical encounter when I was drifting off to sleep last night. I felt strange as I settled my head on my pillow. Dizzy in the head and buzzing with energy. As I closed my eyes I realised it was not my usual drift off to sleep.

I was immediately experiencing the energy spiral I know to be the pre-emptive with an astral projection. The spiralling being a sound frequency pattern that propels the consciousness to wherever it is going to go. An intense energy built in the body's brow area ...

And my consciousness began building the imagery through the mind's eye of space. Ahead of my consciousness was the long white hull of a craft travelling through space. I was towards the read of the vessel. At the very front of the vessel it looked like there was a huge explosion to the left of my observation point, but ahead of the vehicle.

I had no idea if it was weaponry that had been fired or something else. I got a sense of perhaps of a large planetary body to my left (Saturn?). Was I perhaps on a ringmaker ship?

Without warning, to my left, here on the earth plane, there was a sense of white energy movement. Some kind of being had suddenly materialised ... I was seeing it from both viewpoints. I was then JOLTED awake by being attacked by this presence. It had merely reached into my energy field and the shock of that contact woke me ....

Clearly I was somewhere that was out of bounds to use humans and a watcher had stopped me. It was the first time I have actually seen an Archon. For that was what it was. A mass of white energy not really in a form but in a vague humanoid shape. I glean this might have been the same being that attacked me during my Night Terror days in my youth; or perhaps the same one that used to grab my feet to prevent me sleeping. If it wasn't the same one ... it is of the same breed.

It's the first time one has risked me seeing it ... during an attack. I'd pondered on it all day and came to the only conclusion ... a Djinn or Archon broke invisible protocol to attack me and prevent me continuing further into my projection. I'd been somewhere VERY significant and something got very scared. Cornered animals attack when they are scared; to survive. Mmmmmmm. 

How to Create a Servitor to Do Your Bidding

John Kreiter: A Servitor is essentially a servant that you create in order to do your bidding. It is a creature created on the astral plane that performs a certain task which you require.

The general explanation of what a Servitor is, is that it is a concentrated thought form that is created to perform a certain task(s). Esoterically it is believed that thoughts can be concentrated to such a degree that these thoughts eventually become physically real. The explorer and writer Alexandra David-Néel for example wrote at great length about her encounters with thought forms in Tibet, which are called “Tulpa”, and how Tibetan monks were incredibly adept at creating these. She also writes how she was able to create one of these Tulpas herself after many months of effort and eventually this thought form became so solid that others in her expedition party were able to see it as well*.

In order to create a decently functioning Servitor, you do not need to spend months putting it together and certainly it does not need to be so powerful that others can see it.

For those that find it difficult to believe that thought-forms can be coalesced into such a power, that they can actually affect reality or be seen by other people, there is also a psychological explanation that might help. Some psychologists like to expound the theory that the human psyche can be seen of as made up of different parts; that is, what we consider to be a whole personality is actually a personality made up of a whole bunch of different sub-personalities working together. Since we seamlessly cycle from one part (sub-personality) of our whole personality to another, we do not notice that in actuality we are made of many different parts working together.

A Word on 'The Astral Plane'

The word astral on its own means relating to, resembling or emanating from the stars. The astral plane however can be likened to the Akasha, namely a place where all the thoughts, memories, fantasies and dreams of everyone in the world exist. The astral plane is thought to be a fantastic place to travel in, with many different travelers, entities and levels to it. It is said to operate at a much higher frequency than the physical plane we inhabit.

It is thought that the etheric body, spirit or mind can travel on the astral plane which is said to appear more solid than the physical plane we all inhabit, this is because in order to travel it the etheric body has to be existing and operating at the same higher frequency. "The Dweller On The Threshold"

The Dweller on the Threshold refers to an invisible malevolent entity that attaches to a human being. The term was first used by Bulwer-Lytton in his novel Zanoni.

In theosophical literature, Helena P. Blavatsky affirms that the Dweller is not a fictitious entity. It is the discarded astral double of an individual in a previous life that may not have fully disintegrated yet when that individual is reborn. Thus the dweller will be drawn to the new incarnated personality due to their affinity. Sometimes this entity is also called Guardian of the Threshold.


Another explanation is that provided by Alice Bailey on Esoteric astrology, "From ancient recesses of the memory, from a deeply rooted past, which is definitely recalled, and from the racial and the individual subconscious (or founded and established thought reservoirs and desires, inherited and inherent) there emerges from individual past lives and experience, that which is the sum total of all instinctual tendencies, of all inherited glamours, and of all phases of wrong mental attitudes; to these, (as they constitute a blended whole) we give the name of the Dweller on the Threshold."

But the unconquered residue, and the ancient liabilities are numerous, and excessively potent, and - when the soul contact's adequately established - there eventuates a life wherein the highly developed and powerful personality becomes, in itself, the Dweller on the Threshold. Do you know what happens to the real you when your body dies?

Your soul / astral body comes out of your body when you die. In very simple terms the soul leaves the body upon death. There is no longer any reason to remain in the body. We usually don't realize it but we often leave our body and travel while the body rests in a 'sleep stage' while we are asleep. Leaving our body is much like that. The lack of memory of our dreams prohibits the majority of people from recalling the experience(s) of leaving the body.
