 Ollantaytambo is a town and an Inca archaeological site in southern Peru some 72 kilometers (45 mi) by road northwest of the city of Cusco. It is located at an altitude of 2,792 meters (9,160 ft) above sea level in the district of Ollantaytambo, province of Urubamba, Cusco region.

During the Inca Empire, Ollantaytambo was the royal estate of Emperor Pachacuti who conquered the region, built the town and a ceremonial center. At the time of the Spanish conquest of Peru, it served as a stronghold for Manco Inca Yupanqui, leader of the Inca resistance.

The Great Pyramid of Giza May Have Functioned as an Energy Power Station

 A group of researchers have concluded that the Great Pyramid of Giza may have functioned as a kind of giant power station, capable of collecting and accumulating energy.

This hypothesis stems from experiments conducted by scientists, who discovered that electromagnetic wave energy was concentrated within the pyramid at specific points, including areas where the pharaohs’ tombs were located.

Retired aerospace engineer Christopher Dunn recently elaborated on this theory in an interview with Joe Rogan.

Rare Metal Osmium Found in Alleged Alien Mummies

Another mysterious 4,000-year-old labyrinth found in Crete

 The construction of a new airport in Crete has already helped scientists discover 35 archaeological sites. Recently, this list was supplemented by an ancient labyrinth, which dates back to the period of the Minoan civilization

Documented UFO Encounters From Antiquity: Before "Project Bluebeam"

 “Project Bluebeam” refers to an unsubstantiated theory which postulates the use of highly sophisticated technology that creates holographic projections which look extremely real.

Many people believe the UFO phenomenon to be a result of this, used by the elite to stage sightings around the world. Others tend to believe the phenomenon is a real physical one that’s created and perpetuated by the elite for ulterior motives. And of course, others believe that the phenomenon is real, nuanced, and involves agency on the part of non-human intelligent life.

Rockwall’s Ancient Rock Wall: A Prehistoric Construction?

Cave di Cusa – The mystery of the ancient stone columns of Sicily

 Cave di Cusa, also known as Rocche di Cusa, is a fascinating archaeological site in Sicily, Italy. It is an ancient stone quarry that supplied the building materials for the magnificent temples of Selinunte, a Greek city that was located 13 km southwest from the quarry.

Selinunte was one of the most important and prosperous colonies of Magna Graecia, the name given to the coastal areas of Southern Italy and Sicily that were colonized by the Greeks from the 8th to the 3rd century BC.

At that time, this region was inhabited mainly by Greeks and the stones from this quarry were used in particular for the construction of a Greek temple in the nearby city of Selinunte.

The quarry was active for about 150 years, from the first half of the 6th century BC to 409 BC, when Selinunte was attacked and destroyed by the Carthaginians led by Hannibal Mago. The workers and slaves who were carving the stones at Cave di Cusa fled in panic, leaving behind their tools and unfinished blocks.

The site was never used again and remained frozen in time for over two millennia.

Today, visitors can admire the impressive remains of the quarrying process, which reveal the techniques and skills of the ancient Greek stonecutters. The site is 1.8 km long and covers an area of about 12 hectares. It is divided into several sectors, each corresponding to a different phase of production.

Archaeologists regularly excavate here, and this place is also very popular among tourists, as massive stone blocks in various stages of processing are lying around here. But the most interesting are the remains of the columns.

Fans of historical secrets and mysteries have been arguing about these columns for many years, because some of them look like they were carved out of the rock with the help of some huge and precise tool like a drill.

Forgotten Sixth Sense Technologies Of The Ancient World

 Over the years, I’ve been blessed to interview many exceptional people and share their wisdom with our community. A few years ago, I had the rare opportunity to interview one of my longtime heroes, Graham Hancock, and I’m really excited to share a powerful clip from our talk with you today.

NP: Do you feel that the lost civilizations were as technologically advanced or more than we were? Part B to that question is where are the buried computers?, where is the computer that’s like 18,000 years old?, There is sort of this notion that technology looks a certain way.

GH: My answer to that is if we really want to get to grips with history, let’s stop looking at history as a mirror. Let’s start looking at it as a window through which we actually see what happened rather than projecting ourselves onto the past. There’s no reason on earth why an earlier civilization should have followed the same technological route as us. Even if it had the capacity to do so, it might have chosen for moral or other reasons, to do with the sacredness of the Earth, not to exploit petro-chemicals, for example.

We’ve chosen to go that route, no certainty that an earlier civilization would have gone that route. And in the route that we have chosen to take, we have placed great emphasis on mechanical advantage. We do things by leverage, by mechanical advantage and we’re very good at that. We do amazing things with that.

But perhaps we’ve allowed other faculties of the human mind to lapse in the process. We’ve become dependent on mechanical technology and other faculties of the human mind, which are spoken of in traditions all around the world. Faculties of telekinesis, for example, to move objects with the powers of the mind, of telepathy and so on and so forth, are spoken of again and again in ancient traditions. Maybe human beings in general have those capacities, but maybe we’ve gone to sleep. We’ve been lulled into a state of sleep by our society. We’re so proud of our technology. We’re so impressed by its achievements and my goodness the achievements are extraordinary – they’re overwhelming actually – that we’re just forgetting what else we might have done if we’d gone a different way.

I think this is the answer. That the lost civilization, of pre-historic antiquity, was a very different civilization from our own and that it was not primarily about material things. It was primarily about the nurture and growth of the human spirit and that’s reflected in the myths too because it’s when the lost civilization Atlantis or whatever we wish to call it, strays from that path, when it plunges into materialism, when it loses sight of its spiritual goal, that’s when the danger occurs....<<<Read More>>>...

Gate of the Sun: Enigmatic ancient structure that challenges modern history

 This ancient ‘portal’ was created out of a single Andesite block weighing approximately 10 tons and is around 9.8 ft. (3.0 m) tall and 13 ft. (4.0 m) wide. Some authors argue that it dates back to around 15,000 BC.

Located in the vicinity of one of the most marvelous lakes on Earth—Lake Titicaca—The gate of the sun was constructed thousands of years ago by an ancient culture inhabiting modern-day Bolivia, at the archaeological site of Tiahuanaco.

Ever since European explorers stumbled across the enigmatic strcuture—archaeologists, historians, and tourists have been left puzzled by the Gate of the Sun.

Among experts, it is known as one of the best examples of the degree of perfection that its building culture reached, both for the art and for the symbolism that treasures its reliefs.

Most experts agree that this ‘portal’ was created out of a single Andesite block weighing approximately 10 tons, and is approximately 9.8 ft. (3.0 m) tall and 13 ft. (4.0 m) wide.

In the past, the Gate of the Sun was part of a larger building that was most likely located at the top of the Pyramid of Akapana or at the Kalasasaya temple, where there are several constructions that are made out of the same material as the Gate of the Sun.

The Gate of the Sun has curious depictions on its surface, the most recognizable is that of Viracocha, who is depicted surrounded by winged creatures who kneel before him.
