Colossal “Hybrid Storm” set to drop over 69 TRILLION gallons of rain on the United States

According to a report from The Most Important News, a hybrid storm is pouring extraordinary volumes of rain across the central United States, as the remnants of two hurricanes collide with a powerful upper-level low and set the stage for days of flooding.

Meteorologist Ryan Hall has estimated that from Sunday through next Wednesday, 69 trillion gallons of rain will fall on the country. Severe flooding is already underway in the Southwest, where leftover tropical moisture is meeting another storm moving in from the west.

AccuWeather described a major flood event unfolding across the southwestern and central United States just days after some of the same ground was already soaked. New Mexico has taken some of the worst of it. Floodwaters breached a 20-foot dam wall in the south of the state on Tuesday and poured into the rural community of Garfield. Video showed the inundation after the breach. Earlier that day, the National Weather Service issued a flash-flood emergency after dam operators and county officials warned that failure at McLeod Dam in Doña Ana County was imminent, and residents nearby were ordered to evacuate.

CBS News reported that rain fell in parts of the Southwest at rates as high as 4 inches an hour, and that more than 60 flash floods were recorded from Monday into Tuesday night.

Roads in southern New Mexico flooded, trapping drivers until the water receded. Pumps were brought in to ease pressure on the dam. Flood watches were later issued for Arizona, Colorado, Iowa, Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska, New Mexico, Oklahoma and Texas, with relentless rain expected over the next 48 hours.

The storm itself will eventually pass. The larger pattern behind it has not peaked. Climate scientist Daniel Swain has said this El Niño is so extreme that existing labels fail. “Well, this one is shaping up to be monstrous,” Swain said....<<<Read More>>>...

No, Burnham, the British people do not want to rejoin the EU

 Ever obedient to the Globalist agenda, the UK government, led by the recently installed Prime Minister and Fabian socialist Andy Burnham, is attempting once again to overturn the will of the people and officially rejoin the European Union.

So, has the will of the people changed as the establishment and its corporate media lackeys are claiming? Not so, according to recent polling.

Burnham has made rejoining the EU a dividing line. The can of worms has been cracked open.

Brits do not support the primary features of rejoining. To begin with, Britain would obviously lose its Thatcher rebate and net contributions would therefore likely sit at around £15 billion annually. Britain would most likely have to sign up to Schengen and full free movement. It would have to sign up irreversibly to joining the Euro at some point. The British public are no fans.

“Mother and father” is unacceptable language, the Green Party has said, with members threatened with sanction under the party’s code of conduct if they fail to use gender-neutral terminology and ‘inclusive language’. The Telegraph has the story.

Green Party members have been told to replace terms such as “mothers and fathers” with gender-neutral terminology under new guidance on inclusive language.

They have been advised to use the terms “parents and carers” when referring to a child’s mother and father and also said people should never be referred to as “elderly”.

The guide also instructs members to use the phrase “black, Asian and minority ethnic” (Bame) with caution because “many people are uncomfortable with grouping diverse experiences under a single label”.

The same applies to “homosexual” and “transsexual” – the latter because it “does not encompass non-binary people”.

“Sexual preference” is also labelled as “unacceptable” because it “implies that attraction is a choice and should be avoided”.

The terms “lunatic” and “nutter” also do not comply with the rules because they “reinforce negative stereotypes and stigma about mental health”. The guidance tells members it “widely reflects common usage in the UK”.

It warns members that using the wrong words, as determined by the Green Party, “can create environments that feel unwelcoming or exclusionary”. This could contribute to bullying and harassment, which would be in violation of the party’s code of conduct.

New Report Reveals Data Center Backup Generators Pollute Like Power Plants, Endanger Health

Federal regulatory changes that eased enforcement of on-site backup generator emissions are contributing to increased health risks from data centers, according to a report released by the Environmental Protection Network (EPN), a nonprofit whose members are former public officials who maintain an interest in environmental policy.

Air pollution from data centers could increase healthcare costs by almost $21 billion by 2028, contributing to roughly 600,000 asthma cases and 1,300 premature deaths, the report states. The findings were first reported by Utility Dive.

"These engines and turbines can emit nitrogen oxides, smog-forming volatile organic compounds and soot pollution," the report states. "The combined generating capacity of a large generator or turbine fleet can rival that of a conventional power plant" [2]. Passing observations: Mayor Burnham’s appalling government

 In his usual witty style, Dr. Vernon Coleman gives us some of the latest news to come out of the UK.

He has a fair amount to say about Prime Minister Mayor Andy Burnham.

So, without further ado, here’s Dr. Coleman’s ‘Passing Observations 299’.

1. Is it conceivably possible that the bizarre bit of trouble at RAF Fairford was a false flag, designed to build up hatred of Iran (which, for the record, has never attacked or threatened Britain) so that Mayor Burnham’s appalling Government can excuse providing additional help to the US military when it wants to drop more bombs on Iran? Doubters will have noted that, to widespread astonishment, all the alleged terrorists were quickly released on bail.

2. A white Englishman was sentenced to two years in prison for throwing a small plastic bottle and allegedly saying naughty words when addressing police officers. Meanwhile, Mayor Burnham gives taxpayers’ money to Ukraine, which bombs oil refineries (pushing up the price of oil) and operates press gangs to recruit fodder for the battlefield.

3. Burying rubbish is much better for the environment than most recycling. The recycling of metal makes sense. But most of the accepted truths churned out by mad greens are nonsense. You’d have to use a cotton bag 173 times for it to be more energy efficient than a plastic bag. And a steel straw is less “friendly” than a plastic straw. Polystyrene cups are better for the world than ceramic cups. Paper and plastics cannot be usefully recycled. Idiot politicians and campaigners want us to recycle more. But if we care about our planet, we should recycle far less. We should bury or burn our rubbish. And councils should fire all their recycling staff and cancel recycling collections.

4. Mayor Burnham plans to introduce a new UK anti-disinformation unit. You can guess what his new `Ministry of Truth’ will suppress. (If Mayor Burnham really wanted to stop the dissemination of untruths, he would close down the BBC and all mainstream corporate media and ban Google, Facebook et al.)

5. A 22-year-old man has been found who does not claim to be autistic or suffering from ADHD. He is embarrassed and has asked to remain anonymous.

6. Male and female citizens in Ukraine are being press-ganged into the military wherein they will doubtless be dead within hours. It seems likely that citizens in the EU and Britain will soon be press-ganged into taking part in an entirely unnecessary war which could have been stopped years ago, which no one wants and which exists solely as part of the Great Reset’s depopulation plan. Those who imagine that they will be excused from military service because of their ADHD, autism or flat feet can think again. Press gangs don’t stop to accept sick notes. The way things are going, every young man and woman will be forced into military service. And then their mums, dads and grandparents will be forced to join too. Did anyone vote for this?

7. More than 65 valuable works of art have been stolen from the Houses of Parliament in the last two years. It is, of course, unthinkable that there are any dishonest MPs or Lords nicking stuff. So who is it? Where is Sherlock Holmes when you need him?

Labour Minister Jenny Riddell-Carpenter has said that visions of Britain based on warm ale, pubs and black labradors are a “far-Right” fantasy that “never really existed”. The Mail has the story.

Jenny Riddell-Carpenter, who was appointed nature minister in July, told a fringe meeting at the party’s conference that she fears the far-Right will launch a battle at the next election using this supposed fantasy.

She said she is kept “awake at night” thinking about how the far-Right will weaponise the countryside at the next election.

Riddell-Carpenter told party members: “This is one of the things I do stay awake at night about, and think about, and fear.

“One of them is that if we don’t make the case for nature, for rural communities, and what we believe rural communities look like, I do believe that the next election is going to be fought on a battle line of nature and rural affairs.

“And there’ll be the far-Right deciding and determining what that looks like.

“It’ll be a vision, a nostalgic vision of Britain, that never really existed.

The project's loans are already trading at a discount. Reports indicate the $18 billion in debt behind this facility is trading at roughly 88 to 90 cents on the dollar, a clear signal that lenders are pricing in a meaningful chance of default. When debt trades below par in a supposedly booming sector, the bond market is telling you something the cheerleaders on CNBC refuse to say out loud. Cutting Sweet Foods Doesn’t Curb Cravings or Improve Health, Trial Finds

A six-month randomized controlled trial found no significant differences in sweet taste preference or health markers among participants assigned to high-, low-, or average-sweetness diets, according to a study published in the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition.

The trial was conducted by researchers at Wageningen University and Research in the Netherlands and Bournemouth University in the United Kingdom. Researchers said the results raise questions about public health advice that encourages reducing sweet-tasting foods to combat obesity.  

"People have a natural love of sweet taste which has led many organizations, including the World Health Organization, to offer dietary advice on reducing the amount of sweetness in our diets altogether," said Katherine Appleton, professor of psychology at Bournemouth University and corresponding author for the study.
