Genes make up just 2% of our DNA, scientists still puzzled by 98%

Researchers say that much of the human genome was previously thought to be “junk DNA,” but it turns out it’s not that simple.

Back in the spring of 2003, scientists who worked on the Human Genome Project completed sequencing the human genome, reports Science Focus.

However, this human “Book of Life” remains difficult to read even for the world’s leading geneticists. Researchers are still sorting through the data.

One of the biggest questions that has been raised is: why is the human genome so huge?

The striking thing about the completed human genome was how little of it seemed to do anything at all. The human genome contains about three billion nucleotide pairs. Of this amount, less than 2% (about 20,000) are genes encoding proteins that direct the cells of our body. But what does the rest of the human genome do?

Some called this part junk DNA, considering it genetic gibberish—a remnant of millions of years of evolution. While some of this genetic “gibberish” really doesn’t work, not all of it is useless.

Gradually, scientists are beginning to shed light on this dark side of the human genome. Some of this “garbage heap” performs crucial regulatory or modification functions for genomes that encode proteins. Some compare these DNA sequences to volume buttons that determine the expression of our genes.

Large sections of the dark genome are also made up of long, repeating DNA sequences known as transposons. They play an important role in the expression of genes associated with crucial stages of human evolution. China is stealing your DNA with home ancestry kits

[Natural News]: At-home DNA testing kits have become all the rage as people seek to identify their ancestry. The only problem is that many of these companies are Chinese fronts that collect people’s genetic blueprints and use them for unknown purposes.

During a recent hearing, Dr. Steven Quay explained how the process typically works. What people receive in the mail and use to swab their DNA is then sent off to companies that in many cases are based in China.

“So if you go on the internet and want to do a DNA test for almost anything on the internet as a consumer – and you don’t even need a doctor to sign – and you do a scrape, the specimen will very often go to a laboratory here,” Dr. Quay stated.

“But then it gets shipped to BGI, which bought more Illumina sequencing machines than any other place in the world.”

Illumina sequencing machines, by the way, are used to process microarrays. These are what supposedly determine a person’s lineage going back to the early days of the family tree.

“And so they will do the sequence there and they’ll send it back to the company, but guess what? They’ll keep a copy,” Dr. Quay further warned.

All of those fascinating, genealogical searches that allow you to trace your family tree by way of a DNA sample can now be used against you and those you love.

As of 2019, more than 26 million people had added their DNA to ancestry databases. It’s estimated those databases could top 100 million profiles within the year, thanks to the aggressive marketing of companies such as Ancestry and 23andMe.

It’s a tempting proposition: provide some mega-corporation with a spit sample or a cheek swab, and in return, you get to learn everything about who you are, where you came from, and who is part of your extended your family.

The possibilities are endless.

You could be the fourth cousin once removed of Queen Elizabeth II of England. Or the illegitimate grandchild of an oil tycoon. Or the sibling of a serial killer.

Without even realizing it, by submitting your DNA to an ancestry database, you’re giving the police access to the genetic makeup, relationships and health profiles of every relative—past, present and future—in your family, whether or not they ever agreed to be part of such a database.

After all, a DNA print reveals everything about “who we are, where we come from, and who we will be.”

Scientists Finally Present Evidence on Expanding DNA Strands

A previous A.I video related to a theory about a 3rd DNA strand in humans being developed. A new strand that could be being added to enable us to be wired into the forthcoming 5G grid.

Here is an article back in January 2013 that announced a child born with a THIRD DNA STRAND. Scientists back then had no clue as to what it was for. How many more of us in the last six years now have that third strand? The speed of the technology in 6 years is scary.

Our hypothesis is this:
DNA Strand #1 is our connection to true consciousness and the universe outside of this frequency band. Switched on it would make us aware of those higher frequency bands. It is switched off and called 'Junk DNA'.

DNA Strand #2 is our connection to this fake reality and may well have been added in a similar way to what may well be happening now.

DNA Strand #3 is a new strand required to take us into an even more restricted frequency band within that of the one that strand #2 limits us to. It is the frequency band of the A.I internet of things world where we are one of the things in the grid.
