Intuition Made Visible

Using a pendulum is a simple way to clarify intuitive and inspirational messages. With its minimal construction, a pendulum that swings freely from a piece of cord or chain shows us a visual understanding of the subtle energies that influence us. When we ask a question using a pendulum, we may receive answers from our own intuition or from our spirit guides or angels. The process, known as “dowsing” or “divining,” also is useful to check our energy centers or even to find lost articles. Whether it is our energy or the whispers of our guides creating the motion, the pendulum helps us better understand the secret language of spirit.

Your pendulum can be anything that feels right to you: a crystal pendant, wood or metal ornament, a seashell, an item with sentimental value, or even an acorn on a string. The key is that it must be balanced, so it can swing freely. Before and after each session, you may want to purify your pendulum, perhaps by using salt water or burning sage or incense. Focus on becoming still and choose who you would like to answer your questions: your higher self or your spirit guides or guardian angels. By asking questions you already know the answers to and watching the corresponding movements, you can learn what yes and no look like. Your pendulum may move forward and back for yes and side to side for no, or perhaps a variety of circular motions will be your indicators. For some people, movement comes easily, as they are more in tune with working with energy. Do not give up if you do not get movement right away. Determining a neutral state, which may be stillness or another distinct motion, can help avoid confusion as well. Once you are familiar with your pendulum, you can use it to check the energy of a room or your chakras to see if they are blocked.

When we make a practice of listening to our spiritual guidance, it becomes more accessible to us in general. The use of a tool like the pendulum can help us gain mastery of this communication, allowing us to transform our lives into playgrounds for manifesting our gifts and dreams...<<<Read More>>>...

Using Yourself as a Pendulum

[Daily OM]: Learning to trust our intuition is something that can connect us with our higher selves. Sometimes it might not seem easy to do this. Our thoughts and minds often get in the way. But by accessing our innermost self, we will find that the information we receive is usually what we truly need at that moment.

One of the techniques that allows us to really get in touch with our deepest font of wisdom is using our body as a pendulum. The simple act of letting our physical being lead us in a certain direction can offer us extremely deep insights and help us find the answers we seek.

Many of us may have tried using a pendulum or crystal on a chain as a dousing tool to acquire the information we need to make decisions or even find lost objects. Using our bodies puts us much more closely in tune with our being. The process of using your body as a pendulum is to ask your higher self a question and wait for your body to respond in either a forward-tilting or backward-tilting motion.

The first step is to really understand how our higher self communicates with us by centering our bodies, asking ourselves the directions for "yes" and "no," and noting which way our body moves. For a lot of people a forward motion is "yes," and your body tilting backward is a "no" answer....<<<Read The Full Article Here>>>....

Using a Pendulum

[David Icke]: We all have those desires to get straight answers to our life questions; and we want to get these answers from the divine, the source, Angels, Spirit Guides, God, and any number of names that our beliefs establish.

So how do we go about getting these answers without seeking out that Guru on the mountain, searching tarot cards, or searching through a multitude of professed psychics?

You will be glad to know that you can use a very simple technique, using your own energy and a pendulum to get these answers. What is a pendulum exactly? A pendulum is a weight, usually a crystal, hung from a fixed point, generally on a chain, string, or strap, so that it can swing freely backward, forward, sideways, counterclockwise or clockwise.

A pendulum comes in many shapes and sizes is very easy to use and carry around. The pendulum has long been used to ask and verify the questions of life and can be very useful in providing clear and accurate answers and guidance.

A pendulum simply helps you to achieve a link to your subconscious, where all the information about you, past, present and future lie in wait for you to tap into. Everyone has access to their subconscious, however, it can take great effort to learn how to pull this information from this area of our minds.

The pendulum provides a very easy and simple way to provide even the novice to access this information rich area of the mind. In other words, you can receive a visual verification or answer to questions that your subconscious mind already knows...<<<Read The Full Article Here>>>...

A Word on "Pendulums"

Pendulums work by connecting with electrical impulses created by our subconscious minds. These influences cause the Pendulum to move and we can then read these movements to gain insight into the deepest parts of ourselves. A pendulum can be made of crystal, brass, glass, wood ... in fact any object (preferably with a point) that is able to be suspended will suffice. If using a crystal pendulum, the shape and qualities resonate and bring in the energies of the Earth, and when combined with our own intuition and connection with Spirit, we are able to receive messages from our inner source. With a little practice you will find your Pendulum to be a constant source of connection to your inner-most-self....read more...

Intuitive Guidance from Within

Learning to trust our intuition is something that can connect us with our higher selves. Sometimes it might not seem easy to do this. Our thoughts and minds often get in the way. The first step is to really understand how our higher self communicates with us by centering our bodies, asking ourselves the directions for “yes” and “no,” and noting which way our body moves. For a lot of people a forward motion is “yes,” and your body tilting backward is a “no” answer. It is easier to start with simple questions at first to understand how our higher self communicates with us. As we become more used to the messages we receive and how we process them, we can start asking for more specific things such as what dosage of herbs to take or which foods would best nourish our bodies. Using this technique in the grocery store or when shopping for vitamins and remedies can be extremely helpful. Since we are always present in our bodies, understanding how we can use our bodies as pendulums is a tool we can use at any given moment in our lives. Letting our bodies tell us what is happening inside of us will in turn help to guide us through not just daily but also major life decisions. The more we allow our bodies to open up and share with us the connection it has with our deeper self, the better able we will be to truly access the knowledge we hold so deeply within.

Pendulum Dowsing

Dowsing is the process of using a tool such as a pendulum or rod to discover things that cannot be discovered using our everyday senses. It has in the past been associated primarily with the finding of water sources. In later years dowsing has been used to find oil and gas, minerals, water, lost objects, and lost people. A pendulum can also be used to determine your state of health and whether particular medicines, supplements, etc should be taken. You can also dowse for health-care services, find or create healing spaces, and locate a safe place to place our bed or working area.

The Pendulum
A pendulum is nothing more than a communication device. It has no power and no ability to move. Although no one knows how or why dowsing works, it is most commonly thought that the movement of the pendulum is controlled through or by your subconscious (or something of that nature). Any object hung from a piece of string is a pendulum. As dowsing pendulums can be purchased in all sizes, shapes and materials, it is important only that you choose a tool that you're comfortable with for all pendulums work equally well for experienced dowsers.
In fact, it is important not to impose any beliefs on yourself that a particular pendulum is better than another. If your favourite crystal pendulum isn't available, a ring placed on a necklace will work just as well. (Copyright Lisa Williams)

A Word on 'Pendulums'

Pendulums can be made of different materials, some people using a simple necklace with a crystal or charm at the end. Be sure the bob or bobber - or weight on the end - is not too light or too heavy. It should weigh less than half an ounce. The best shape for the weight - or point - is something that comes to a point. The best length for the pendulum is six inches. You can make your pendulum or buy one.

Pendulums are a simple way to communicate with the other side. The most common types of pendulums are:

- a crystal tied with wire then suspended on a chain or cord - a chain necklace with some kind of charm suspended at the bottom- a chain with metal pointer at the bottom - these are usual store bought

Once you select your pendulum you are ready to begin. Sit down and get comfortable. Your mind and body should feel relaxed with no stress. You can rest your elbow on a table in front of you allow the pendulum to swing free, or you can hold your arm in a horizontal position, again allowing your pendulum to swing freely. You do not have to be psychic to use a pendulum. It will guide itself. It is moved by either your thoughts or someone in spirit who works through you. The first step is to get the feel of the pendulum and how it will move for you.

Pendulums movements:

- Straight line - side to side or front and back - circles - clockwise or counter-clockwise- elliptical motion- some pendulums bob up and down to indicate strong action, usually affirmative

Most questions asked when using a pendulum have Yes or No answers. You must determine the direction your pendulum will take for Yes and for No. Hold the pendulum in your hand. With the other hand - touch the point/bobber to steady its motion. Keep your eyes on the point. Now address the pendulum and say, "Show me 'Yes'." It will soon swing in one direction, which could be side to side, back and forth, or circles. Now say, "Show me No." It should swing in the opposite direction. Be certain the pendulum is not being guided by the movement of your hand or fingers. Once you have determined the pattern for Yes and No - you are ready to begin ... read more ...
