The Hidden Power Within: Awakening Kundalini Energy

We all possess a vital life force energy that ebbs and flows as currents in and around our physical bodies. Sanskrit in origin, this is known as prana energy. Another universal life force energy that manifests from our prana is the kundalini energy.

The kundalini energy (literal Sanskrit translation ‘snake’) is said to be coiled up at the base of the spine.

When activated through consistent, persistent and specific meditative/yogic practices the kundalini energy is released.

In effect, when released, the “explosive” kundalini energy shoots up from the base of the spine to the upper region like the release of a “fueled rocket,” propelling your spirit out of the body and away from the controlling enslaving Matrix structure.

In a nutshell, ultimately, this form of out-of-body experience, when duly mastered, gives you a choice when you die to no longer have to reincarnate in a body on planet Earth again, with all its entrapment, archontic-related suffering.

As a consequence, your spirit will be liberated. Free from the imposition of someone else’s control. You will be free to explore new avenues of existence in the realm of infinite possibility! Or you can stay in the omnipresent, absolute, infinite primordial field, aka the void, where you are one with everything. Those who have achieved this state during their kundalini awakening say that you have to experience it to understand it. It is said to be a place of existence with an indescribable state of knowing, perfection, peace, and love. It has further been described as ‘coming home.’...<<<Read More>>>...

The Power of The Kundalini

We are born with a source of energy that potentially gives us the power to cleanse and purify our energy bodies, remove karmic debris and helps us to attain enlightenment.

This energy powerhouse has been referred to as the fire serpent, inner heat, holy spirit, sacred flame and inner fire by different spiritual traditions. It has been universally recognized as a potent spiritual force. Although we are all born with this hidden power, in most people the Kundalini remains dormant.

Awaking the Kundalini is important for your spiritual growth because it helps unite you with the Oneness of All-That-Is.

This source of energy is located at the perineum, near the base of your spine, and when awakened the Kundalini rises through your sushumna, the main energy channel in your spine.

It cleanses and purifies your chakras, sushumna, nadis, and other energy channels. By cleansing your energy channels, the Kundalini dissolves negative energies, blockages and other impurities that impede raising your vibrations and bringing in Light.

Removing negative energy from the heart chakra is an important step that allows you to activate and open your spiritual heart and enter the realm of the Sacred Space of the heart. The Kundalini is a crucial element in this cleansing. Serious spiritual practitioners often spend decades of concentrated practice just to awaken their Kundalini because of the spiritual benefits an awakened Kundalini brings.

It is possible for the Kundalini to awaken spontaneously. This may happen when a person does intensive meditation, even if the meditation is not intended for Kundalini awakening. Kundalini has been awakened in women during childbirth and it can also awaken as a result of a fall, especially if the coccyx area is injured. (Know that one personally. It is what happened to me as a child MJ).

Spontaneous Kundalini awakening may result in Kundalini syndrome, a constellation of physical, emotional and mental symptoms created by the powerful Kundalini energy that becomes stuck in areas where the person has blockages. For this reason, it is important to prepare the energy channels properly before any Kundalini awakening is attempted.

Usually the awakening process of the Kundalini takes many years and, if not done properly, Kundalini awakening can be dangerous. In order to be safe, Kundalini awakening requires that the sushumna be opened from the root to the crown chakras and the knots of the major chakras need to be broken through. This allows the powerful Kundalini energy to flow unimpeded through all the energy channels.

If the Kundalini is awakened without preparation, the powerful Kundalini energy flows upwards and becomes stuck in different areas of the body because the sushumna and the knots in the main chakras have not been opened. The Kundalini cannot push through and is misdirected into different parts of the body creating pressure, discomfort and sometimes pain.

What is Kundalini Awakening?

[Wake Up World]: Sooner or later on the spiritual awakening journey, we all taste the mysterious and intense kundalini energy …

It might be smooth and subtle, or intense and explosive, but whatever the case, kundalini is a primal force of awakening.

In fact, sometimes people can experience full-blown kundalini awakenings spontaneously without any prior experience (or interest) in spiritual growth or transformation.

Have you experienced a kundalini awakening?

If you’re curious to discover whether you’re going through kundalini awakening or something else entirely, keep reading.

Put simply, a kundalini awakening is a form of energetic awakening that causes us to transform on the mental, emotional, and spiritual levels.

Kundalini itself is a Sanskrit word that means “she who is coiled” – it refers to primordial life force energy contained at the base of the spine that is often depicted as a snake. This serpentine energy, once awoken, travels up the various energy centers (or chakras) of the body and into your crown chakra where higher consciousness is triggered. The result of this higher awareness is a greater understanding of one’s soul (or True Nature), life purpose, and the nature of reality itself...<<Read The Full Article Here>>...

You Had the Answer the Entire Time

[Wake Up World]: People looking to “find themselves” seek in places far and wide away from there they should be seeking…inside themselves. As the mystic Sufi poet Rumi said, “Look for the answer inside your question.”

The Answer you are looking for is not off in an ashram in India somewhere. It’s not in anything you can find in the world. It’s already within you. You just have to become still and quiet enough to hear it.

The world likes to pretend like it has the Answer to life’s meaning and purpose. It likes to make us believe that something other than the true inner being is what we are. This means our ego personality and all the window dressing layered on top of it by culture. This is not the way to Self-realized understanding of the nature of Reality and what this bizarre experiential existence is all about.

As surrealist Paul Eluard said, “There is another world, but it is inside this one.” Anyone who has meditated for long enough, had their kundalini shake them out of their sleep, or done any number of awareness-expanding things has discovered where the Answer truly lies…within our own Source fractal consciousness....<<<Read The Full Article Here>>>>...

Know The Signs of a Kundalini Awakening

[Gaia]: There has always been a buzz around the word kundalini and what it means to have a “kundalini awakening”.

Is it dangerous?

How do I know if what I’m experiencing is kundalini, or something else entirely? What do I do if my kundalini energy is waking up?

Lots of “symptoms” get blamed on kundalini – from muscle spasms to seeing colors vividly to not being able to sleep.  It’s not the kundalini energy itself that is causing problematic symptoms, but the physical, energetic and mental blockages that are not allowing that energy to flow.

Kundalini energy is just the basic force of life, the energy of awareness, that exists in all of us. When we experience kundalini “symptoms”, that energy is knocking on the door to get our attention and awareness so that we can make positive changes. When that happens, we can become who we are meant to be and wake up to our destiny....read more>>>...

New Age Movement Ramblings & Potential Dangerous Outcomes

The concern is just how many seriously deluded people there are using the New Age Movement to peddle their personal madness; and just how gullible Joe Public is to believe that same deluded nonsense that practitioners of the New Age arts 'teach'.

It is a dangerous game. And one The Hidden Hand totally adores, as it keeps people distracted and unlikely to ever discover the truth. Just like recognised religions that do exactly the same thing.

The deluded practitioners within the New Age Movement, and the deluded followers, buy the crazy notions so readily. None of them ever question the absolute absurdity behind the crazy myths. 'Everyone has 12 main spiritual guides' is a perfect example. So every human being (7.53 billion) has 12 main guides that are with them all the time. That's 7,530,000,000 guides! Heck that's a lot of guides!!! These who preach this so readily, so parrot fashion from their teacher, who's done the same from theirs etc ... should stop and think what they are saying. Very dangerous practice at work here ... passing on these myths parrot fashion just because its expected of them to believe them.

These insane myths need to be stopped. People need to realise how crazy the whole thing is. Like those who practice the myth of  raising energy out of the crown chakra and opening the third eye ... its parrot fashion myths .... opening an such a high vibrational energy centre without the proper training; using a life force energy that can kill ... without the proper training and preparation can lead to suicide and serious mental health issues. Those who preach this dangerous garbage need to be given hefty fines to prevent others saying the same thing. Alright, we see the whole industry around The Chakras as a fanciful myth ... but we acknowledge there is a seriously powerful life force energy at work that rises up from the base of the spine into the head area. We speak about this from life experience of this thing. It is a dangerous power in the wrong hands. And those who so readily encourage inexperienced people to start working with this energy too soon ... are asking for law suits on their hands as many of those they encourage to work with this deadly force, might end up dead or mentally impaired. That is how dangerous it is!

The New Age Movement implies it is all a big game for the brainwashed sheep to play in ... wonderful toys to have as fashion accessories ... the reality is so far away from that. Those who peddle these dangerous myths should be rounded up and given hefty fines or custodial sentences. It should all be regulated like other practitioners .... to minimise the dangers that can be created as a result of mentally unstable people grabbing the New Age Movement ramblings and using them for their own financial gain!

What is Kundalini?

[Kundalini Guide]: Kundalini is a Sanscrit term from ancient India that identifies the arising of an energy and consciousness which has been coiled at the base of the spine since birth, and is the source of the life force (pranic energy, chi , bio-energy) that everybody knows. Yogic science suggests that this energy triggered the formation of the child in the womb, and then coils 3 ½ times at the base of the spine to hold the energy field in stasis until we die, when it uncoils and returns to its source.

Kundalini may unravel and arise from the base of the spine (or sometimes from the feet) due to spiritual practices, or in response to life events, and when this happens it may move gradually, uncoiling like a snake, or quickly and explosively, into the gut, the heart or the head. This event can be startling and chaotic, frightening or blissful, and it usually triggers months and years of new sensations and changes in the person who awakens it. It may feel like the body’s wiring has moved from 110 to 220, and it takes time to adapt to it. It is understood in the eastern tradition to be a significant adjunct to spiritual realization, but it is rarely recognized as such in western traditions, although Christian mystics have often been said to have intense energetic or physical problems...read more>>>...

The Effect Of The Kundalini On The Body

[quora.com]: There are a lot effects the Kundalini kriya can have on your mind and body. If you were to boil down the way damage can happen into the one thing that you have conscious influence over, it is in resisting it as it arises and passes.

When Kundalini Shakti courses through the body during a kriya, she accelerates the natural process to bring the body and mind back into alignment and wholeness. This force transforms the being towards completeness. If your reaction is to fear or to resist it, the experience intensifies. If you've labelled it as bad and negative in your mind, you will likely fall into a self-destructive cycle, probably ignorant that you are the architect of your own misery. The result may be anywhere from burning out to more subtle mental and emotional disorders...read more>>>...

The Kundabuffer

New Dawn Magazine: One of the primary ways forces influence mankind is through that strange organ known as the Kundabuffer.

The Kundabuffer is described by Gurdjieff as the creator of illusionit causes us to daydream and believe we are awake when we are actually asleep. It creates buffers or denial mechanisms that stop us seeing the world as it really is, and allows us to be controlled by the ebb and flow of the planets (and other forces).

The term Kundabuffer is seen by many as an adaptation of the Vedic concept of Kundalini. Kundalini is a psycho-physical force located at the base of the spine; it controls the organism on psychological, etheric and perhaps even physical levels through the seven Chakras.

Kundalini and the Chakras operate like cosmic antennae receiving influences from the planets and beyond. Initiates can use these forces to great benefit, but in the average person they are simply mechanisms of control.

The chakric system has both positive and negative potential. While most New Agers see the Chakras and Kundalini in a positive light, both Traditional Tantra and Gurdjieff are more critical. Kundalini is the power of Kali, the goddess of gnosis and also illusion. She spins the web of Maya (illusion) and deceives mankind, inviting them to awaken and see through her game. As Maya she is the goddess of destruction and is depicted in either a four-armed or ten-armed form. Her skin is dark blue and she has red eyes filled with lust and rage. She has fangs and her tongue lolls. She wears a skirt of human arms and a garland of heads. Woe to those who approach her without gnosis, but to those who see through her illusion she becomes either a mother or a lover. The two forms of Kundalini are important as they represent the human condition, enslaved to illusion and controlled by the planets, or awakened and in a state of self-awareness....read more>>>...

Raising The Kundalini

How this fire at the base of the spine can be aroused, the form its progression should take (dependent upon the Ray), the blending of the fire with pranic fire and their subsequent united progression, are things of the past with many, and fortunately for the race, the work was achieved without conscious effort. The second blending with the fire of manas has to be effected.

Scarcely as yet have men succeeded in directing the fire up more than one channel of the threefold column; hence two-thirds of its effect in the majority is yet confined to the stimulation of the organs of race propagation. Only when the fire has circled unimpeded up another channel is the complete merging with the fire of manas effected, and only when it progresses geometrically up all the three - with simultaneous action and at uniform vibration - is the true kundalini fire fully aroused, and therefore able to perform its work of cleansing through the burning of the confining web and of the separating particles. When this is accomplished the threefold channel becomes one channel. Hence the danger.

No more can be imparted concerning this subject. He who directs his efforts to the control of the fires of matter, is (with a dangerous certainty) playing with a fire that may literally destroy him. He should not cast his eyes backwards, but should lift them to the plane where dwells his immortal Spirit, and then by self-discipline, mind-control and a definite refining of his material bodies, whether subtle or physical, fit himself to be a vehicle for the divine birth, and participate in the first Initiation. When the Christ-child has been born in the cave of the heart, then that divine guest can consciously control the lower material bodies by means of consecrated mind. Only when buddhi has assumed an ever-increasing control of the personality, via the mental plane (hence the need of building the antahkarana), will the personality respond to that which is above, and the lower fires mount and blend with the two higher.

Only when Spirit, by the power of thought, controls the material vehicles, does the subjective life assume its rightful place, does the God within shine and blaze forth till the form is lost from sight, and "The path of the just shine ever more and more until the day be with us." (Alice A Bailey)

Natural Born Shamanic Initiation

The concept of a true Shamanic initiation is probably the hardest spiritual process to be understood fully. The recent influx of New Age ideology that Shamans can be created by courses and workshops is poppy cock! True Shamans are born, not created by day or week workshops. A Shaman cannot initiate other Shamans, instead a fellow Shaman will recognise that another has been chosen or has been born a Shaman, and then will assist with the spiritual unfolding.

The primary teaching happens through the spirits of the ancestors with spirit provides a commentary for enhanced understanding. My initiation and choosing began when I was 4 years old, with an Odin/Merlin/Thoth like spirit beginning my training with night after night of astral travels.

A serious part of my shamanic training was coming to terms with a full blown Kundalini firing at the tender age of 12! Believe me my initiation has not been an easy pathway, with the looming figure of death standing behind me at every pitch and turn. For true born initiated Shamans, the figure of death shows up as an ever present spirit teacher-guide whom the initiate has to get to know, and eventually integrate with. It is an ongoing relationship.

The definition of a true Shaman Initiation is a simple one: “if the initiatory spirit who has claimed you does not do its best to take you over to the other side with a severe, life threatening sickness shortly after you meet, then you are not a Shaman!" My most recent experience was in October 2013 with my life threatening Necrotising Acute Pancreatitis which was complicated with pneumonia, hypothermia and septicaemia!!! A connection with Odin had occurred two weeks prior to this experience!

The first contact with the Odin/Merlin/Thoth spirit, took the form of a series of psychic experiences where the entity appeared in solid form; plus an actual interrogation by the spirit many years later. My interrogation took place when I was in hospital at 36 having had a serious bowel operation. The spirit appeared in the form of a farmer with two ferocious dogs. One of the dogs attacked me and I ended up having a heart attack followed by delirium and hallucinations brought on by a high dose of opiate pain killers. A classic case of continued shamanic initiation I feel. Which has taken place all the way through my life. Thus I can claim to be a chosen Shaman, not that I truly want this title!

Kundalini Activation – or – What Is Happening To My Body?!?

We see this fairly often, a person goes through an intense spiritual or transcendent experience, and afterwards they begin having some very strange things happen to them. They may start having sensations of intense heat or energy flowing through their body. They may start hearing tones, often very high-pitched. Their body may begin to feel like it’s vibrating, or they may feel pressure in their forehead. It’s common for people to believe they’re going insane or even dying when this stuff starts to happen, but don’t worry, all this is actually quite normal for a being who has chosen to raise their Consciousness, and it’s called Kundalini activation. Now the term Kundalini itself is tied up with the various Hindu religions and also a number of Western mystery schools. As such, there’s a lot of conflicting beliefs about Kundalini and a lot of people who will tell you the “right” and “wrong” ways of going about it...read more>>>...

A Word on 'Kundalini Energy"

Personal Development Coach: "It is the energy of your being which sits at the base of your spine, in the root chakra. It wakes up when you start meditating, visualising or doing other spiritual activities. When activated, kundalini energy starts going up your chakras till it reaches the crown chakra and when it goes through the crown chakra the person becomes enlightened. This energy can either be awakened unnaturally by gurus and meditation experts or it naturally awakens when the person develops spiritually. When the awakening of this energy is rushed it can cause serious problems (these are listed in the “The Dangers of Kundalini Energy” section)"...read more>>>...

A Word on 'Kundalini Awakening'

Kundalini is a condensed, primal force, similar to the potential energy found in water. When released, it creates a vertical connection between the chakras by opening the subtle channels known as nadi, most specifically, the central channel that moves up the spine calledsushumna. If we put water through a small hose at very high pressure, the end of the hose will undulate like a snake. Similarly, the intense energy of Kundalini undulates in the body as it rises through the chakras....read more>>>...

Kundalini & Energetic Meridians: A Crystal Healing Approach

Meditation is a focusing or concentration of one’s mental energy until one has reached a perfect stillness of the mind. With practice, meditation will allow one to realize the true self. Meditation should always be done for the self. It is a wonderful tool to allow one to fully explore his or her inner consciousness. It is an opportunity to recapitulate one’s experiences and to learn and to grow from them (on a subconscious level). Meditation should be done with a full surrender to the stillness it creates.

Routine meditation (over time) has the ability to completely transform one’s outlook on life. Meditation, combined with the proper intention, can aid one in a complete spiritual evolution. Meditation will allow a person to become the pure, perfect, being of the universe that he or she was meant to become...read more>>>...

Mantras – How they work

In Kundalini Yoga, we often accompany a movement or even a breath pattern with sounds we sing or meditate on silently, called “mantras.” Mantras are repetitive sounds we make over and over to bring about a change in our consciousness. Chanting may seem strange to you at first, but it is a powerful tool for healing. People often ask me what is the purpose of a certain chant in a certain meditation. The words are chosen not only for their meaning as words, but also for a scientific reason that goes far beyond pure definition. All mantras we use are based on the science of “Naad” — the secrets hidden in sound. The roof of our mouth has eighty-four meridian points, all along the upper palate. Mantras were given to us as special gifts Long ago, highly evolved beings went into deeply meditative states. They began reciting certain sounds that made the tongue hit these meridian points in the mouth in certain combinations. It’s kind of like playing the piano — if certain notes are struck, a beautiful song is produced. With every word we speak, or in this case the mantras we recite, we hit certain “keys.” If the right combination of keys is struck, then the hypothalamus, thalamus, and pituitary in the brain are all stimulated in such a way as to bring our minds into a meditative state, and even into ecstasy. And just think, if we can produce that state without drugs, what a world this would be. This is also why sometimes you’ll walk into a room in which people have been gossiping, swearing a lot, or generally talking “low-vibrational” talk, and the whole room will feel depressed and heavy. Other times, you might walk into a room in which a lot of chanting or uplifting kinds of conversations have been occurring, and you’ll feel a lightness and ease in the room. What you’re experiencing has a lot to do with the science of Naad....read more>>>...
