CBC Upset As Twitter Labels Them "Government-Funded Media"

 Twitter recently began adding labels to various news organizations that are publically or government funded, and some are taking great issue with it.

Twitter defines a “government-funded” media outlet as an outlet “where the government provides some or all of the outlet’s funding and may have varying degrees of government involvement over editorial content.”

CBC in Canada is one of the latest organizations to receive the rating, initially being labelled “government-funded media,” but now labelled as “69% government-funded media.”

This of course is entirely true. CBC received $1.24 billion in 2021-2022 in federal government funding. This sum is for all of CBCs content, not just news, but it doesn’t change the fact that CBC News is largely funded by government money.

CBC was not happy about the label and publicly took to Twitter stating:

“Our journalism is impartial and independent. To suggest otherwise is untrue. That is why we are pausing our activities on @Twitter”

They followed up with an article stating:

“We cannot in good conscience continue to post fact-based news and information to Twitter, or engage on it, while a false impression of government involvement in our work is allowed to stand.”

They are stating that by being labelled “government-funded” people will assume they won’t be impartial. But who would decide if someone is impartial? How would we know other than to look at the type of content CBC produces? Twitter Files: Don’t Get ‘Blackpilled’

 Are some of us stuck in an ever pessimistic rut about the state of the world that we can never see the possibility of change? How would we know if this was true or untrue about ourselves?

This question is important as we explore the Twitter Files because these revelations at hand are being made available by a billionaire with a ton of power and influence over society and culture. How are we to discern the actions of Elon Musk?

Disclaimer, it saddens me to some extent that I have to keep saying this but, no, I’m not telling you to trust Elon Musk, I’m simply saying let’s take a breath and think critically.

Bottom line is, if we are stuck in narrative capture of some sort, we may not see things too clearly. How would we know if we are stuck in narrative capture?

Elon Musk Reveals Why He Bought Twitter

 You may believe Elon in his stated intentions or you may not, but regardless, the stated intentions are exactly what our world needs right now: less censorship and more dialogue.

Yesterday Musk closed the $44 billion deal to buy Twitter. Quickly, he fired Twitter’s CEO Parag Agrawal, and chief financial officer Ned Segal. He also let go of the woman responsible for permanently deleting Donald Trump, Vijaya Gadde, Twitter’s head of legal, policy and safety.

In a short sentence, Musk stated on Twitter that his reason for buying Twitter is to help humanity by breaking down echo chambers and creating a public square. Hoping to repair meaningful dialogue, the intention seems to be that Twitter will no longer censor or delete views that go against mainstream conjecture. ’90 percent bots’: Billionaire Elon Musk puts his purchase of Twitter on hold until company can prove it’s not a deep-state mass psychosis operation

 When the world’s richest man announced a plan to buy Twitter, one of the most influential social media platforms in the world, the left broke down in hysteria.

While the most common explanation for their breakdown was that Twitter was often used to silence conservative voices and censor any dissent to the deep state regime, it turns out that the panicking is likely due to something much more sinister.

According to News Punch, Musk, who founded Tesla and SpaceX and serves as the CEO for both of those companies, has come to believe that as many as 90 percent of the ‘users’ on the platform are not real, but rather artificial intelligence-generated bots that are used by the globalist elite to drive their narratives and create mass psychosis.

The outlet reports:

Based on his assessment, Musk alleges that up to 90 percent of Twitter’s entire user base is fake. This situation has obvious implications for the valuation of the company. If most of the users are fake, advertisers will be far less interested in spending money to place ads on the platform. But the implications of the bot count don’t stop there and reveal much about the true, inner workings of Big Tech.

Because Musk’s assessment reveals that Twitter’s fake accounts are not just about ad revenue. The vast majority of Twitter’s “daily users,” it appears, are automated spam bots that the Big Tech giant uses to induce mass formation psychosis and other forms of social conditioning.

The Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) is likely behind the AI bot front on Twitter. Now that we know Twitter is controlled by spam bots, its not a stretch to assume the same spam bots are also likely present on Reddit, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube and TikTok....<<<Read More>>>....

Could it be that Elon Musk’s “intent” to purchase Twitter was a head fake to expose their fraud to the SEC?

  Not everything you see in the news is “what it is.” Of course, there is “fake news” all over mainstream media, but in the real news, a.k.a. independent media, we see an onslaught of information about Elon Musk’s attempt to buy Twitter and possibly change the media monster into an actual free speech platform. Millions of people are cheering him on, but is that really his goal, and was it ever even achievable in the first place? As it seems now that he is backing out of the deal, since most of the Twitter “members” appear to be nothing more than bots and fakes, maybe there was a whole other Musk agenda from the outset, that nary a newsreader has considered.

Since its inception, Twitter has secretly benefited in the biggest ways from millions of fake accounts and bots – computer generated fake members that “follow” narratives and make fake news seemingly go “viral.” Bots are also used to make members feel liked, or important, or more popular than they are. Plus, fake accounts and bots have been instrumental for the Twitter social media platform to attract investors illegally. This is a major scandal, and though it has been suspected since 2006, Elon Musk may have just found a brilliant way to get the Twitter executives to expose it themselves.

Twitter is chock full of spam accounts with IP addresses from… wait for it… Ukraine and Russia, as a former Twitter engineering manager exposed. Twitter’s growth team refused to purge them, because they help make Twitter look attractive for investors. Twitter Is Working On An Edit Button

[Richie Allen]: It hasn’t taken long for Elon Musk’s presence to be felt at Twitter. A day after the SpaceX CEO became the largest shareholder in the company, Twitter announced it was working to create an edit button.

Musk had tweeted his followers to canvas their opinions on whether it should be possible for users to edit Tweets that had already been posted.

According to the BBC: Many users have long called for an edit button but there are concerns about how to execute it. Twitter said it would start testing the idea in the coming months. The social media firm’s communications team tweeted: “Now that everyone is asking… yes, we’ve been working on an edit feature since last year!

“No, we didn’t get the idea from a poll ,” it added.

“We’re kicking off testing within @TwitterBlue Labs in the coming months to learn what works, what doesn’t, and what’s possible.”

Jay Sullivan, the company’s vice president of consumer product, said it had been “the most requested Twitter feature for many years” in a thread on Tuesday.

However, he said the company was exploring how to build the feature “in a safe manner”.

“Without things like time limits, controls, and transparency about what has been edited, Edit could be misused to alter the record of the public conversation,” he said. “Protecting the integrity of that public conversation is our top priority when we approach this work.”

During a talk in 2018, former Twitter boss Jack Dorsey said the firm would “probably never” add the feature amid concerns about transparency.

It seems amazing to me that – even in independent media circles – there are those who actually believe that Twitter will improve now that Musk is on board, even if he’s not on the board.

Where’s the evidence that he’s a champion of freedom of expression?

Sure, he’s Tweeted in the past that cancel culture should be cancelled and that woke comics will eventually cancel themselves, but that’s it.

He has questioned the reliability of covid tests and in March last year he said there’s “some debate” about the safety of the covid jabs.

However he later changed his mind and said that he supports vaccination “specifically the covid vaccines.”

If you think Twitter will be a more open platform with Musk, think again.

It’ll be business as usual.

Discussing vaccine dangers on Twitter is now prohibited, so how will people learn the truth about COVID-19 vaccine side effects?

[Natural News]: On Dec. 16, just a few days after President Donald Trump’s “Operation Warp Speed” Wuhan coronavirus (COVID-19) vaccines were unveiled and unleashed, Twitter made an announcement that it has begun to “prioritize the removal of the most harmful misleading information” about the dangers and ineffectiveness of the jabs.

In addition to labeling tweets “that contain potentially misleading information about the vaccines,” Twitter has decided to go a step further by actively removing all content from the platform that in any way calls into question Trump’s “coof” inoculations.

“In the context of a global pandemic, vaccine misinformation presents a significant and growing public health challenge – and we all have a role to play,” Twitter contends.

“We are focused on mitigating misleading information that presents the biggest potential harm to people’s health and wellbeing. Twitter has an important role to play as a place for good faith public debate and discussion around these critical public health matters.”

Twitter’s official policy prior to Dec. 16 included the removal of all tweets that include “false or misleading” information about:

• The “nature” of COVID-19, including how it supposedly spreads within communities
• The safety and / or efficacy of “preventative measures, treatments, or other precautions to mitigate or treat the disease
• Official government “regulations, restrictions, or exemptions pertaining to health advisories;” and
• The “prevalence or risk of infection or death”

As of Dec. 16, however, Twitter will now be removing tweets that claim COVID-19 vaccines are being “used to intentionally harm … or control populations,” along with any statements that “invoke a deliberate conspiracy.”

Twitter also now has a no-tolerance policy for statements about the COVID-19 vaccine that has been “widely debunked,” such as that a person might experience “adverse impacts or effects” following vaccination.

Should a Twitter user claim that “COVID-19 is not real or not serious, and therefore … vaccinations are unnecessary,” this, too, will be immediately removed from the platform as a “false claim.”...<<<Read The Full Article Here>>>...

Homo does NOT refer to homosexual. For the mis-informed and uneducated snowflake known as 'NintendoSwitchBitch' the current race of mankind is known collectively as HOMO Sapien. The term Sheeple refers to people compared to sheep in being docile, foolish, or easily led.

So put the two together you get HOMO - SHEEPLE. It has nothing to do with the LGBT movement. By reacting in the way you did, you kind of prove you are a ... Homo Sheeple.
