World Economic Forum’s Klaus Schwab “Rigged Data” to Make Brexit Look Like Failure

 Klaus Schwab, the face of the Davos conference in Switzerland for years, allegedly intervened in the WEF’s annual Global Competitiveness Report, which ranks countries on productivity and long-term prosperity.

In the 2017/2018 report, the UK’s ranking improved from seventh to fourth after a change in methodology.

But Mr Schwab, 87, wrote to staff that the UK “must not see any improvement”, as otherwise it would be “exploited by the Brexit camp”.

The final report published in 2017 showed the UK had dropped one place to eighth.

The WEF said at the time the Brexit vote had not fed into the rankings but warned it was likely to undermine UK competitiveness in the future.

“Brexit… will by definition weaken the UK’s markets component as integration with the EU is rolled back,” the report said.

At the time of the report, the UK had voted to leave the European Union but had not yet done so, and the difficult Brexit negotiations were at their beginning.

There was still discussion of the possibility of holding a second referendum in order to reverse the result of the 2016 vote.

Baroness Theresa May, the then-Prime Minister, spoke at the Davos summit in January 2017 and 2018. She said that Britain was looking to its post-Brexit future “with confidence” and planned to “build a truly Global Britain” based around free trade.

Tory civil war on Brexit reignites over plan for ‘Swiss-style’ deal: Ministers deny claims that No 10 is mulling closer ties with the EU that could mean accepting bloc’s law, paying into Brussels coffers and higher immigration

 The Tories descended into a fresh bout of Brexit wars today as ministers warned they will not back a push for ‘Swiss-style’ ties with the EU.

Government sources have been signalling that Switzerland’s relationship with the bloc could be a model for the UK over the next decade.

However, despite claims free movement would not return there are fears the UK could end up accepting EU law, paying into Brussels coffers and facing higher immigration.

Health Secretary Steve Barclay tried to pour cold water on the reports in the Sunday Times this morning, telling Sky News‘ Ridge on Sunday programme: ‘I do not support that. I want to maximise the opportunities that Brexit offers.’

Mr Barclay pointed out that Mr Sunak himself was a strong Brexiteer.

Tory MPs warned against a ‘betrayal’ of the 2016 referendum result. Former Cabinet Minister Jacob Rees-Mogg said the Conservatives are a ‘Brexit party’ and would risk becoming a ‘non-Brexit party’ if it agreed to ‘unfettered’ trade with the EU.

Chancellor Jeremy Hunt raised eyebrows last week by saying he wants to remove trade barriers with Brussels as part of efforts to boost the economy.

Although he stressed that did not mean rejoining the single market, sources told the Sunday Times that Switzerland’s arrangements could be a model.

Brussels' secret plot to punish Boris exposed as EU leaders plan huge stitch-up with SNP

[David Icke]: The EU are planning to punish the UK following its exit from the bloc early next year by offering Scotland an easy route back into the bloc - in what an SNP MP described as "putting a little finger up to the rest of the UK".

The SNP’s MP Pete Wishart has warned Boris Johnson that the EU wants to spite the UK following its departure from the European bloc next year. He said that “warm and constructive” talks between the SNP and leading European figures showed that Brussels wants to welcome an independent Scotland into the EU.

Macron agrees to THREE month Brexit extension – pressure now on Corbyn

[Daily Express]: FRANCE’s President Emmanuel Macron has caved in the pressure from the other members of the EU27 by agreeing to the three-month Brexit extension pushed by European Council President Donald Tusk - cranking up the pressure on Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn to back Boris Johnson’s general election motion today.

Mr Macron, who spoke with Prime Minister Mr Johnson by telephone over the weekend, had been reluctant to sign up for idea, preferring the idea of a shorter delay - but has now relented, according to draft papers seen by the Politico website.

The document states: "With a view to allowing for the finalisation of the ratification of the Withdrawal Agreement, the European Council agrees to a further extension until 31 January 2020.”

Revealed: Why real reason for Brexit deadlock is Theresa May’s ‘Article 50 blunder’

[Daily Express]: THERESA MAY may be responsible for the current parliamentary deadlock over Brexit because of how she approached Article 50, according to an unearthed podcast.

Mrs May activated Article 50 of the Treaty on the European Union on 29 March 2017. The article stated that Britain was therefore expected to leave the EU with or without a deal two years later, on March 29 2019.

However, Westminster requested an extension to the original deadline, because Mrs May had failed on three separate occasions to get her Chequers deal through Parliament.

Once enacted, Article 50 can only be extended by a unanimous decision between the European council and the withdrawing nation. Ever since Mrs May invoked the legal mechanism, Government has been persistently pressed to an EU-imposed deadline in order to deliver a Brexit deal.

Boris Johnson managed to negotiate a revised withdrawal deal with the EU which addressed the contentious backstop before the summit. However, Parliament did not agree to his new bill until all the relevant legislation to prevent a no-deal had been passed. Therefore he was forced by the Benn Act to request an extension from the trading bloc.

'The Article 50 Leave Date Is Now Just 4 Days Away. What Happens Tomorrow?' - The Light Of Truth Oracle Insight

The UK is due to leave the E.U on the 3st of October 2019; that is the Article 50 default. If there is no deal agreed/ratified then the UK leaves with 'NO DEAL' (No Withdrawal Agreement Bill).

The Conservative Government is pressing the opposition to agree to a General Election mid-December 2019; in an attempt to rid itself of the zombie government. Tomorrow there is a motion/vote planned to enable a General Election to be granted. The Government requires a 2/3 majority to enable this.

The agreed Withdrawal Agreement Bill legislative process is currently on hold due to the rogue government's Benn Act and the E.U council considering an extension period.

So what happens next?

EXPECTATION is known as 'Yin and Yang' and represents the balance/imbalance scenario that is happening at this time.

Emmanuel Macron 'will refuse an extension and accept No Deal Brexit in five days unless Jeremy Corbyn agrees to a general election or MPs back Boris Johnson's deal'

[Daily Mail]: Emmanuel Macron could force Britain to the brink of a no-deal Brexit by blocking a three month extension unless there was new political movement in Westminster.

Sources close to the French president said any delay beyond Thursday October 31 was 'not a given' without Labour and the House of Commons agreeing to a general election or ratifying Boris Johnson's Brexit deal on Monday.

An Elysee official told The Times: 'France wants a justified and proportionate extension.

'However, we have nothing of the sort so far.


By blocking the extension, the EU will be forced to prepare for an emergency summit on October 30. If the vote is approved, France is expected to agree to the January 31 ‘flextension'

EU member states met in Brussels yesterday to consider rubber stamping the UK’s request for the three-month delay, which Boris Johnson was forced into by MPs.

During what were described as a ‘lively’ exchange, France stood firm against the other 26 remaining member states and stopped any decision being taken.

One EU diplomat said: ‘It was a lively meeting. It was 26 vs 1. France was the only country that wouldn’t agree it. Other member states told them they were playing a very dangerous game. EU ambassadors agree Brexit WILL be delayed - but won't tell the UK for how long until NEXT WEEK as leaders 'wait for Jeremy Corbyn to make up his mind if he will back a general election'

[Daily Mail]: Britain is trapped in a political Mexican stand-off today after the EU agreed to delay Brexit but put off a decision on how long for.

Ambassadors meeting in Brussels this morning delayed their ruling until Monday or Tuesday next week - just two days before the Brexit deadline - in order to give Jeremy Corbyn more time to decide if he will back a general election first.

After Labour failed to back the plan for an election on December 12, however, France moved to block any extension decision today.

French President Emmanuel Macron, who is apparently pushing for just a 15-day delay, will only back a long Brexit extension if Britain uses the time to go to the polls.

He is said to be worried that if an election does not take place and Mr Johnson cannot get his deal through the Commons, the three-month extension will be wasted.

The Tories had their Queen's Speech passed today? A defeat could have meant a 'vote of no confidence' and a General Election.

Boris Johnson declared his intention to have a General Election in mid-December 2019. Labour declined. They insist they will only agree when a 'no deal' is gone from the table.

The E.U look on, and were meant to voice their intention, regarding the extension, tomorrow. But now it seems unlikely until after the vote on the election, which happens on Monday. Tuesday will be 48 hours before the default leave date of 31.10.2019 without the Withdrawal Agreement, what is classed as the 'No Deal'.

So, is it destined to be a 'No Deal' on 31.10.2019 after all??

[Daily Mail]: The fate of Brexit was plunged into uncertainty this evening after Boris Johnson secured MPs' backing for his deal only for the House of Commons to then scupper his plans to hit the October 31 divorce deadline.

MPs voted in favour of the PM's agreement by 329 votes to 299, a majority of 30 - the first time any Brexit deal has been supported by a Commons majority.

But the PM then lost a crunch second vote in which he asked MPs to support a plan to crash the 110-page Withdrawal Agreement Bill through the Commons in the space of just three days.

MPs voted against fast-tracking the legislation that would put the premier's deal into law and make Brexit happen by 322 votes to 308, a majority of 14, on the grounds they needed more time to scrutinise it.

Mr Johnson responded to the two votes by welcoming the support for his deal but also by expressing his disappointment that MPs had put the Halloween deadline in peril.

With no timetable now agreed for the passage of the so-called WAB, Mr Johnson told MPs he would pause his efforts to see if the EU offered the UK an extension.

He said he would be urging EU leaders not to grant a delay as he vowed to accelerate the government's No Deal preparations.

[David Icke]: Speaker John Bercow today sparked fury by blocking Boris Johnson's latest bid to trigger a vote on his Brexit deal.

MPs denied the PM 'in principle' approval for his deal over the weekend, instead postponing the showdown and obliging him to ask the EU for an extension.

And in his latest dramatic intervention in the Brexit process this afternoon, Mr Bercow turned down a fresh effort to stage the vote.

Tories accused the Speaker - who is meant to be an independent referee on Parliamentary rules - of 'sabotage' to stop Brexit, branding him a 'poor man's Cromwell'.

Mr Bercow insisted the 'meaningful' vote would break the Commons convention against asking MPs the same question twice in quick succession.

'It is clear that the motions are in substance the same,' he said. 'The motion will not be debated today as it would be repetitive and disorderly to do so.'

But senior Tory Bernard Jenkin was among those who protested about the ruling in the House. While admitting Speakers cannot always please everyone, he jibed: 'It is becoming remarkable how often you please one lot and not the other lot.'

A visibly angry Mr Bercow shot back that he made 'no apology' for his decision, saying he had granted numerous debates and urgent questions to MPs of a 'Eurosceptic disposition' over the years.

The PM's official spokesman said: 'We are disappointed that the Speaker has yet again denied us the chance to deliver on the will of the British people.

Calls for Europe to block a Brexit delay grow: Exasperated EU politicians insist Britain must 'finally reach a decision' after MPs block deal and Boris Johnson refused to sign extension letter

Bercow 'The Evil Pantomime Dwarf' is set to play another treacherous hand tomorrow. Boris Johnson is set to be denied getting a meaningful vote on his WA deal in its current format, due to the fact the remoaners deem he has not acted in the 'spirit' of the Benn Act.

The SNP are set to chair an amendment for a general election at the end of December 2019. Bercow is set to be given the green light to send an extension letter to the E.U with his signature on it.

The remoaners are also set for a 2nd referendum  amendment to be passed.

Somehow, in all of this the UK is supposed to leave the E.U. It is looking harder and harder for us to do that. There will be 17.1 million people who will be asked to organise rallies and protests on 2nd November 2019.

[Daily Mail]:  Britain was today urged to 'finally reach a decision' on Brexit and provide a 'yes or no' on Boris Johnson's deal as EU politicians hinted they might not grant a further delay. 

Mr Johnson last night sent an unsigned request to extend the Brexit process, along with two further letters which make clear he opposes such a delay. 

While Brussels decides how to respond, the PM will try to force his deal through Parliament this week - setting up a series of knife-edge votes at Westminster as he attempts to meet his October 31 deadline to deliver Brexit. 

Today there were growing calls in Europe to bring the three-year Brexit process to an end, which could leave Britain facing a No Deal exit if Mr Johnson falls short in Parliament. 

'We need a yes or no from Britain on the Brexit agreement,' said Emmanuel Macron's European affairs minister Amelie de Montchalin. 'We should stop believing that it's in everybody's interest to put everything on hold for six months and everything will be better after that,' she told French media. 

Mr Macron has long been impatient with Britain - lobbying EU leaders in April to limit the current extension to six months rather than a year - and his office said last night that a further delay would be 'in no-one's interest'. 

In Germany, senior Social Democrat MP Achim Post said it was time for Britain to 'finally reach a decision' and said any extension granted this month should be the last. The key players in London should not gamble on Europe's patience being limitless. Brexit can't be allowed to become an unending political drama,' he said. 

'It needs to be made clear to the Brits that this is the last extension and you finally need to come to a decision,' he added, suggesting a second referendum as one possible option....<<<Read The Full Article Here>>>...
