An Interlude, a red rose ...

Love will keep us alive
Let's make the moment right
It's now or never
Love will keep us alive
Even the darkest night
Will shine forever
Love will keep us alive
Love will keep us alive
Love, love will keep us alive
("Love Will Keep Us Alive" by The Scorpions)

For Midnight

Should auld acquaintance be forgot,
and never brought to mind ?
Should auld acquaintance be forgot,
and auld lang syne ?

CHORUS:

For auld lang syne, my dear,
for auld lang syne,
we’ll tak a cup o’ kindness yet,
for auld lang syne.

And surely ye’ll be your pint-stoup !
And surely I’ll be mine !
And we’ll tak a cup o’ kindness yet,
for auld lang syne.

CHORUS

We twa hae run about the braes,
and pou’d the gowans fine ;
But we’ve wander’d mony a weary fit,
sin’ auld lang syne.

CHORUS

We twa hae paidl’d in the burn,
frae morning sun till dine ;
But seas between us braid hae roar’d
sin’ auld lang syne.

CHORUS

And there’s a hand, my trusty fiere !
And gies a hand o’ thine !
And we’ll tak a right gude-willie-waught,
for auld lang syne.

CHORUS

Dedicated to my late Father, I raise a glass to your memory I will never forget you and all those fantastic moments in life... soz Dad that it's not Malt ... Boddington's beer it will have to be ...

Recommended Meditation Classic: "Atlantis Angelis"

ATLANTIS ANGELIS BY PATRICK BERNHARDT

The panacean qualities of ATLANTIS ANGELIS, from Patrick Bernard, are powerful enough to make one consider this album "prozac" for the soul.

From keyboard-produced panflute gymnastics to folk-edged acoustic guitar melodies to the smooth, relaxed chant-style vocals of Bernard, this spectacle of Sanskrit mantras and ethereal instrumentation evokes much appeal.

The sweetly melodic five-part suite, "Song of the Universal Light" is a hypnotic journey into Eastern spirituality that soothes as much as it inspires. On the title track, which follows, Bernard's instrumentation takes a turn toward the East with synthesizer-enhanced sitars laced with the chant "Om Mani Padme Hum."

ATLANTIS ANGELIS is a genre classic and should not be missed.

I first purchased this wonderful piece of meditation music in the mid 1990's whilst in Glastonbury. It has been one of my favourite pieces of music ever since.

The Didgeridoo

The didgeridoo (or didjeridu) is a wind instrument of the Indigenous Australians of northern Australia. It is sometimes described as a natural wooden trumpet or "drone pipe". Musicologists classify it as an aerophone.

A didgeridoo is usually cylindrical or conical in shape and can measure anywhere from 1,2 and 3 metres in length with most instruments measuring around 1.2 metres. Generally, the longer the instrument, the lower the pitch or key of the instrument. Keys from D to F♯ are the preferred pitch of traditional Aboriginal players.

There are no reliable sources stating the didgeridoo's exact age, though it is commonly claimed to be the world's oldest wind instrument. Archaeological studies of rock art in Northern Australia suggests that the Aboriginal people of the Kakadu region of the Northern Territory have been using the didgeridoo for about 1500 years, based on the dating of paintings on cave walls and shelters from this period. A clear rock painting in Ginga Wardelirrhmeng from the freshwater period (1500 years ago until the present) shows a didjeridu player and two songmen ...

** Many thanks to Ben for his wonderful Didgeridoo CD which arrived in the post this morning. Superb healing and energy working music .... cheers mate***

A Poem for Madeleine

This poem was kindly sent to us from a reader, we thought we would share it with you.
(Kind permission from Sylvia)

For Madeleine

Unfaltering belief in your return is deep within.
The presence of strength is within my heart
I feel you alive but waiting for your return to familiarity

I sense there is no call for sorrow or heartache
as your presence is with us still.

Those who have you, protect you now
abductor who has taken you no longer holds you.

Corruption made to make the whole world suffer
in your departing.
Times are moving and the truth is emerging into light
rainbow colours glow through grey mists of deceit and lies

Your coming into this world set the theme for your leavng
and your pathway was turned by those who are in higher position
to twist the knife of cruelty into the hearts of all who care.

Your returning is a happy event in future time at hand
Where dark shadows are lifted in truth
and the light of a shining star shall shine in brilliance once again.
so be it
