The Law of Rhythm

Everything flows, out and in; everything has its' tides; all things rise and fall; the pendulum-swing manifests in everything; the measure of the swing to the right is the measure of the swing to the left; rhythm compensates. This principle, on the Physical Plane, is the most visible of all principles and its power is observed within the forces of nature which move the waves and tides of our oceans and the continuous changes of the seasons. 

 

It is observed in the continuous cycles of life, death, and the rebirth of all things, a rise and fall of governments and nations, a constant creation and destruction of suns, worlds, and galaxies. On the plane of energy it is observed in the behavior of the alternating current wave of electricity, light, and heat as it vibrates between the positive and negative pole. Rhythm on the mental plane is experienced as the wide mood swings displayed in human nature. It can be experienced as extreme happiness, and then swing to extreme sadness - from a gentle behavior to an extremely violent behavior at the blink of an eye. Rhythm is the law of compensation and maintains the equilibrium in all things. It returns to us what we measure out in life. The return swing of the pendulum is assured without fail and there is no escape from the effects of this immutable law. 

 

This law holds us true to what we believe, or not believe, and compensates us accordingly. All of nature follows this law. Rhythm perpetuates the phenomenon of time. The pendulum-like swing of rhythm is immutable and we can only counteract its backward swing by mentally polarizing ourselves in a desirable position on the scale of life. It requires a dedicated personal commitment to cultivate the unknown within all of us in order to cause a quantum leap in the evolutionary process of life with all its aches and pains. 

 

This is a mental art that is known to hierophants, adepts, and masters of all ages. We will fulfill the law one way or another. Either use the law to our advantage, or become its subject. The door of universal law swings in all directions. The final result depends what we have chosen to believe and whether or not our belief system allows us to see the truth as it really is. If we do not want to know or do not care, then we will evolve through the standard process of evolution. Nothing can, or is allowed to stand still. All manifestation is the result of active energy producing certain results, and expenditure of energy in any one direction will necessitate an equal expenditure in an opposite direction.

Who WE Are ~ And Where WE are Heading

 [Tabublog]: We are all deeply convinced of the great truth of reincarnation, of repeated earthly lives, and we must realise that this repetition has its own good purpose in the Earth’s evolution. To the question, ‘Why do we reincarnate?’ — occult research gives the answer that our experiences differ in each of the epochs during which we are reborn on the Earth. In incarnations immediately following the Atlantean catastrophe the experiences of the human soul were entirely different from those undergone in later pre-Christian epochs and in our own age.

I need only briefly mention that in the times directly after the Atlantean catastrophe, souls were endowed with a certain elementary clairvoyance in the bodies they then inhabited. This clairvoyance, once a natural faculty in man, was gradually lost, mainly as a result of the conditions prevailing during the Græco-Roman epoch of culture. Since then, man has developed in such a way that great progress has been achieved on the physical plane and during the course of the present post-Atlantean epoch clairvoyance will gradually be reacquired.

We are living in the fifth post-Atlantean epoch of culture, the ancient Indian being the first, the ancient Persian the second, the Babylonian-Chaldean the third, the Græco-Roman the fourth; the sixth and seventh epochs will follow our own. And then another great catastrophe will befall the Earth and humanity, as was the case at the end of the Atlantean epoch.

Occult research is able to indicate the characteristic trend of human evolution in each of these post-Atlantean epochs of civilisation — including the fifth, sixth and seventh. The essential characteristic of our present fifth epoch is the development of intellect, of reason. The main characteristic of the sixth epoch will be that very definite feelings regarding what is moral and what is immoral will arise in the souls of men. Delicate feelings of sympathy will be aroused by compassionate, kindly deeds and feelings of antipathy by malicious actions. Nobody living at the present time can have the faintest conception of the intensity of these feelings.

The sixth epoch will be followed by the seventh, when the moral life will be still further deepened. Whereas in the sixth epoch man will take pleasure in good and noble actions, in the seventh epoch the natural outcome of such pleasure will be a moral impulse, that is to say there will be a firm resolve to do what is moral. There is a great difference between taking pleasure in a moral action and the doing of it. We can therefore say: our own epoch is the epoch of intellectualism; the essential characteristic of the following epoch will be aesthetic pleasure in the good, aesthetic displeasure in the evil; and the seventh will be characterised by an active moral life.

At the present time only the seeds of what will become part of mankind in future epochs are contained in the human soul and it can be said that all these aptitudes or predispositions in man — intellectual aptitudes, predispositions leading to feelings of sympathy or antipathy aroused by certain actions, to moral impulses — all these are related to the higher worlds. Every moral action has a definite connection with the higher worlds. Our intellectual aptitudes have a super-sensible connection with the astral plane. Our sympathies and antipathies for the good or the evil are connected with the sphere of Lower Devachan; and the domain of moral impulses in the soul is connected with Higher Devachan. ‘As Above, So Below’: Are Cosmic Forces at Work on Earth?

[New Dawn Magazine]: When we think of wars, revolutions, populist uprisings, outbreaks of mass hysteria and other sudden social and political eruptions – even a popstar’s popularity or the latest fashion trend – we usually believe that at bottom there is some logical, rational explanation for them, even if we do not yet possess it.

We are confident that we can understand these things through economics, psychology, race relations, religion, or as a reaction to ‘modernity’ or to some other factor that we can reason about, analyse, come to decisions on and take steps to alter and improve.

Although the evidence sadly seems to suggest otherwise, we believe that ultimately we can learn how to control the factors that lead to these explosions. We can, if not eliminate the more catastrophic events like wars, at least minimise the disruptions they cause. In short, we believe we control our fate – or will be able to sometime soon. That is the whole modern project: man applying his intellect and will in order to make a better world, working to control events rather than be controlled by them, and steering history toward progress. We are not there yet, but it is just a matter of time.

But what if there are factors at work in these massive human events that are beyond our control? What if they are not a product of solely rational, calculable forces but are triggered by natural causes, even cosmic ones? The Immeasurable Speed of Life

[Wake Up World]: The immeasurable Speed of Life travels faster than the speed of sound (spoken words). Most human relationships are expressed through words that have been given by others.

 In our fallen state when another speaks, the sounds of those words are transmitted to the instrument called memory. These words are traveling at the speed of sound when they reach the memory cells where they are immediately translated before a response is given. The traveling time between hearing the challenge, the interpretation and the response is at a speed that is not comprehensible. The completed cycle is not seen as a series of steps but rather as one uninterrupted phenomenon. This process is acceptable for utilitarian purposes but not for Living Relationship.

The interpretation of words is given by mind’s indoctrinated content, a content that has been given by others (family, friends, the educational system, government and social institutions). Those words are received at an unfathomable speed, thus giving the impression (illusion) that they are self-generated.

We have been subject to this mechanical process since millennia. Since childhood those past indoctrinated words have been accepted as to who we are. For the most part contemporary relationships are nothing more than imaginary beings (believing ourselves to being something we are not) expressing their master’s (Society’s) views. In a World Where Truth Doesn’t Matter

[Waking Times]: This latest round of rapidly deployed, over-reaching control mechanisms by packs of free-roaming predators only serves as another wake up opportunity for mankind. The collective consciousness of humanity has been radically shifted and will continue to do so rapidly.

It’s obviously very complex and operating on many levels. Trying to define it at any given moment is like taking a snapshot of a raging river. It’s just a moment in time of an ever flowing torrent of constant change.

We look for trends and patterns in life to gain perspective and stay alert for perceived possibilities. Most of humanity assumes that the source of this life’s complex social structure we experience as a “livestream” is fairly benign, with fairly trustworthy “authorities” managing the stream and its system of levees and spillways.

Until the flood comes — especially when there was no rain.

This oft repeated cycle of social control and its expansions and contractions is remarkable. It appears there’s not a time in known history that humanity hasn’t been ruled and governed in some way, sometimes benignly but predominantly by some form of predatory hierarchy. We take it for granted, yet always long for freedom.

Why is that?

It’s like we’re spilled Chinese checker marbles that inevitably fall into seemingly pre-determined holes we think we chose on some strange gameboard. Don’t you find that strange? Do we really choose our places or is there some sort of cosmically driven force working through us, even despite our social programming? We don’t even know, yet we believe and act like we’re free agents, not really knowing what’s really going on.

A Weird Fact ... Or Two

A weird fact for you thinkers ... 'you are the ONLY person in your now reality. Everyone else you ever meet is a figment of your imagination'. It takes a bit to get your head around, but as profound as it sounds; it's true.

When I'm spending these moments on my own, publishing to the blog; in my 'man cave'; chilling to some decent classic rock music ... nothing else exists apart from the room I'm in. There is nobody else in my reality; the only part of the 'Survival Game' virtual reality that exists is in this room. When I drive to work in the morning; the motorway and the interior of the car is the only reality that exists in my virtual world.

The same applies to you where you venture to in the now. The people we interact with are doing the same; but we are all figments of each other's imagination. Each of us has his/hers unique version of this virtual reality. We all interface a virtual world screen that is a little like Google or Waterfox when we first enter the internet ...

All are unique versions of the same thing. We all exist in a NOW reality. And its all fake. It's a pirate copy of the real thing that has been chaotically changed by unseen entities for their own agenda....

This Fake Reality is a Dream Walk

Why are we all so naive? Why do we all belief that life is like we are told it is? Why isn't everyone having the same kind of revelations and insights that the select few are witnessing at the moment?

'Life' is not what it appears. It is most certainly a prison. We must comprehend ourselves as nothing more than laboratory specimens under the scrutiny of an evolving other species. Our every thought, our every action, our every emotion ... in every conceivable and diverse experience there is on this prison plane ... is RECORDED. Is reviewed. Is scrutinised. Our living records within this plane are nothing more than a learning process for a race more technologically advanced than us, but do not have the depth or range of emotions we have. Yes, it may sound very Sci Fi ... but it is actually likely to be true!

How we got into this fake replica of our real world and our real reality, we don't know. Did we volunteer? Did we stumble into this situation? We're we tricked? Or are we really here at all. The idea of this being a fake or simulated reality formed from our collective memories of our true world, is feeling not far from the mark.

Many ancient traditions talk of the 'other worlds' being a replica of this world. Swing that round and say this 'world' is a replica of the real world or worlds. We must understand to prevail. To bring this hive mind world to come crashing down !!! For a moment think the opposite of everything we are told. Who tells us? Who informs us of our supposed history, or of our assumed reality? The unknown 'they' do ...

We need to seriously think in a different way. We start by not accepting the reality around us. Think long enough of this being a false reality, or a copy of the original ... and something changes within. When you look around you in this altered perception of this 'world' you begin to receive strange flashbacks and forgotten memories. Of a world like this, but not the same. This one is perceived as a distortion or a falsehood. Then it all makes sense.

If sufficient numbers of our trapped consciousness can think in this different way, then this fake reality must change. There is some kind of advanced 'experiment' being undertake in a much larger picture to this. Our more true selves are in some way hooked into a 'technology' where it is dreaming of this reality. This fake reality is a dream walk. It is a dream time for our true selves. Somehow we are to realise this together so we can all leave this dream behind. For those who have captured our true selves, control this world and how we think. We must recover our dream control in this dream time ... and become aware. To take the agencies power away. We cannot do this on our own. We need some assistance on the outside.

The Two Paths

We often use such phrases as “the spiritual path” or “the path of spiritual progress.” Sometimes we say that we are “treading” or “following” the path.

But did you know that there are actually TWO PATHS?

They are both spiritual in their essence yet, as paradoxical as it may sound, one of these paths is in fact a form of spiritualised selfishness. This is an imperfect term to use but seems to be the most descriptive and applicable.

“How can a spiritual path be a form of selfishness?” you may ask.

It all depends on the aim, goal, and motive of the spiritual aspirant.

Some seek eternal divine bliss and complete liberation and emancipation from this world of suffering and its seemingly endless wheel of birth, death, and rebirth. Their aim is to become totally and literally remerged and reabsorbed in that infinite Source from which they came. Quite understandably, they wish to escape forever from conditioned and material existence. Some of them are actively striving and diligently working towards this great goal, whilst others merely keep it in mind and hope to somehow reach it someday.

Almost the whole of the Hindu religion is focussed in this direction, as is the system of Theravada Buddhism.

This path is called the Path of Liberation. It leads to Nirvana, to Moksha, to Mukti, to Brahman. It lifts one out of Samsara – the sea of suffering, the ocean of conditioned existence – and into Nirvana, the infinite ocean of unconditioned non-existence, which is Absolute Existence itself, “the vanishing point of differentiated matter.” One rebecomes the Divine Allness.

But then there is the other path, a path which seems unappealing and uninviting to the majority. The few who tread this path do so because they have come to realise the selfishness of the other....read more>>>...

The Building Of A Great Mind

A great mind does not come from ancestors, but from the life, the thought and the actions of the individual himself; and such a mind can be constructed by any one who understands the art of mind building, and who faithfully applies his art.

You may have a small mind today, and your ancestors for many generations back may have been insignificant in mental power; nevertheless, you may become even exceptional in mental capacity and brilliancy if you proceed to build your mind according to the principles of exact science; and those principles any one can apply.

There are two obstacles, however, that must be removed before this building process can begin, and the first one of these is the current belief in heredity. That we inherit things is true, but the belief that we cannot become any larger or any better than our inheritance is not true. As long as a man believes that greatness is not possible to him because there were no great minds among his ancestors, he is holding himself down, and cannot become any more than he subconsciously thinks he can; while on the other hand, the man who expects to become much because he had remarkable grandfathers is liable to be disappointed because he depends too much upon his illustrious forefathers and not enough upon himself. The Great Conspiracy

All throughout history, religious and political institutions of the demiurge on Earth have deliberately conspired to eliminate, or at least distort, the Gnostic vision wherever it appears. Any systems of thought in which any trace of Primordial Gnosis can be found is forbidden or misconstrued. This is how dangerous Gnostic knowledge is for the demiurge's plans.

Hiding the Truth is part of the orchestrated plan so that man cannot wake up, let alone rebel. This is about man remaining confused, misled and half-asleep, so that he never comes to realise who he really is and what situation he is in. That he never knows the truth about what has happened, what his present reality is about nor what his future will be.

It is hoped that man never finds out the right answers to these three fundamental questions: Who am I? Why am I here? What am I supposed to be doing?

But the Truth never disappears. Oppressed and hidden, it will always struggle to be exposed. The worst thing that can be done to the Truth is to forbid it. The opposite effect will be produced: it will emerge with more strength and violence.

The Growth Of Soul Influence

All Lies Within

This world is a mirror. Look around you to see what your consciousness has been manifesting. What is around you represents your past; to change your future you must think differently in the now.

This is a virtual reality, a dream world ... a thought form world. A huge library of living experiences and memories that we all tap into. The Akashic Records is the reference library from which we tap into experiences and manifest them into our virtual reality to understand that aspect of yourself.

All things have been experienced, all things, nothing new can be found; all things are forgotten gems that remind us of what those that have gone before us. A major achievement is to realise the origins of those first thoughts that enabled this dream world and all the levels that exist beyond this one. Pilgrims have sought the exit to these realms; have sought the answers to what lies beyond. For what lies beyond is also written in the library, somewhere. These insights can be found, they do lie within, they may be hidden. But the persistent seeker will find these answers. And understand this reality and why it began - Matthew James
