Bovaer Trial...are we being played?

We published an article last week on "Bovaer", the chemical compound, currently being trialled in the UK, which is added to cow feed to reduce methane emissions (allegedly).

Since then the story has grown, and I just wanted to do a quick update and ask a question that's nagging at me, but we'll get to that.

Firstly the good news - the widespread disgust. People all over the country have objected to the "low emission" drug, leading to boycotts of the dairy giant Arla and their associated brands.

Social media users are posting pictures of stacked shelves of unsold Lurpak butter and Cravendale milk.

Smaller farms and organic dairy producers have jumped on the chance for good publicity and released statements declaring themselves "Bovaer free" (Some people have made lists)

Some are even taking potshots and Bill Gates, which is always fun.

The BBC has turned Marianna Spring loose to do a fact-check, and "experts" have reassured her that Bovaer is safe...which was pretty much always going to happen.

A stranger development can be found in The Daily Mail, which has run a few stories on this issue, including publishing a full list of all the products Arla is involved with to enable boycotts.

Why would they do that? Appeasing their audience? Hopping on the bandwagon?

Perhaps.

But there's more. The story isn't actually new, Bovaer was approved by the UK government back in December of 2023 and was already being trialled by Marks & Spencer in April of this year.

So why the big fuss now, a year later?

And now a little itch is asking questions at the back of my mind.

Is it possible this whole story was deliberately cultivated to gauge people's reaction to the planned nationwide roll-out in the future?

Or could it be even subtler than that?

After all, if you wanted to discourage people from eating dairy products and red meat, then advertising the fact you've put potentially toxic additives in the cows' food wouldn't be a bad strategy, would it?

A French biotechnology company called Ynsect is rolling out a new global business plan that aims to start growing and selling mealworm-based “beetleburgers” for human consumption all around the world.

Part of the leftist’s anti-meat crusade, the plan at Ynsect is to start mixing larvae with sugar and other ingredients to form fake meat patties and other food alternatives – all to “alleviate world hunger,” we are told.

Instead of teaching the world’s poor how to farm and raise animals, Ynsect wants to force-feed them bugs from its planned global network of insect farms, which include both nurseries and slaughterhouses.

A pilot processing plant has already been opened in Dole, located in the Bourgogne-Franche-Comte region of France. All operations from start to finish occur under one roof, which Ynsect says makes it more “sustainable” than traditional livestock farming.

Are Railroads Colluding To Curtail Food Production?

 CF Industries, the nation’s largest manufacturer of fertilizers, is warning its customers that fertilizer shipments will be delayed and may not reach farmers in time for the critical spring planting season because of a move by Union Pacific Railroad to limit the volume on private boxcars carried by its rail lines.

The railroad company ordered CF Industries and 29 other shippers cut their volume by 20 percent. Union Pacific says the reductions are needed to reduce congestion, but CF Industries said it would ask federal regulators to intervene and end the railroad restrictions.

Why Union Pacific would single out the nation’s largest fertilizer producer just as it is trying to get its product to farmers in time for spring planting is suspicious, to say the least.

Mike Adams is reporting that rail carriers are also partially halting transportation of livestock feed grain, potentially forcing farmers to slaughter their cows and chickens if they can’t get enough grain to feed them. This would further drive up prices of dairy products such as milk, eggs, yogurt, etc.

The railroad-mandated shipping reductions not only means shipping delays for farmers but CF Industries said it would be unable to accept new orders involving Union Pacific rail transportation for the foreseeable future.

CF Industries announced its dire predicament April 14 on its website. This disruption in the delivery of fertilizers comes at a time of steadily escalating food prices at grocery stores nationwide due to supply chain disruptions, War between Russia and Ukraine, China hording global grain supplies, weather-related crop failures and other issues, all adding up to a perfect storm for global famine.

Unless American farmers produce a bumper crop this fall, the rampant food price inflation will continue to intensify, driving prices up even faster and leading to more shortages on the store shelves heading into late 2022 and 2023.

CF Industries ships to customers via Union Pacific rail lines primarily from its Donaldsonville Complex in Louisiana and its Port Neal Complex in Iowa. The rail lines serve key agricultural states in America’s heartland, including Iowa, Illinois, Kansas, Nebraska and Texas, as well as California.

Global hunger crisis on the horizon as US, Britain, Australia, others deliberately demolish their own food production

The United States and many other countries are deliberately shutting down food production, increasing the possibility of a global hunger crisis. In the United Kingdom, businesses and government ministers are using the inflation crisis and rocketing fuel, energy and fertilizer costs to justify the coming decrease in food production.

“Gas prices being so sky high, it’s a worrying time,” said Tony Montalbano, who grows cucumbers in a 30,000 square meter glasshouse in southeastern England. This glasshouse supplies supermarkets with cucumber, and every square meter of it is empty. He and many other cucumber farmers who rely on glasshouses to grow cucumbers are unable to operate them due to soaring energy costs.

Elsewhere in the country, other farmers have also failed to plant peppers, eggplants, tomatoes and other crops due to soaring fuel and fertilizer prices.

“All the years of us working hard to get where we are, and then one year it could just all finish,” said Montalbano.

Last year, Montalbano noted that he paid between 0.40 to 0.50 pounds ($0.49 to $0.61) per therm (British thermal units) of natural gas. This year, he was paying 2.25 pounds ($2.75) a therm after briefly hitting a record eight pounds ($9.76) a therm in late February.

Jack Ward, head of the British Growers Association, warned that operating costs have increased to the point that farmers in Britain are unable to do anything about them. What this means, he warns, is that the industry will experience a massive contraction, as many farmers will be unable to keep their operations going without enough profits. Queen’s Speech: Gene editing of animals and plants to get green light

 Boris Johnson’s government will push ahead with legislation to allow the gene editing of animals and crops in a bid to improve Britain’s agricultural productivity.

The Genetic Technology (Precision Breeding) Bill outlined in the Queen’s Speech is aimed at promoting “efficient” farming and food production – stripping out rules inherited from the EU after Brexit.

Gene editing is considered to pose less of a risk that genetic modification (GM) since it does not involve the introduction of DNA from another species.

But the practice is still controversial, with campaigners warning about potentially “catastrophic” animal welfare implications from a “high-tech free-for-all”.

The use of technology has been restricted by a 2018 ruling from the European Court of Justice that determined it should be regulated in the same way as GM.

Brexit opportunities minister Jacob Rees-Mogg has been keen to find ways to ditch EU rules so the UK can increasingly diverge from Brussels.

Brits Skipping Meals As Cost Of Living Crisis Worsens

 The exponential rise in food prices is leading to people skipping meals according to the charity The Food Foundation.

YouGov conducted an online survey which revealed that as many as one in seven adults live in homes where people have skipped meals, reduced meal sizes or gone hungry.

According to The BBC: Food has become more expensive as producers push their rising energy costs on to consumers. Prices are rising by 7% a year in the UK – the highest rate for 30 years. The Bank of England has warned inflation might reach 10% within months, as the rising prices of fuel and food put pressure on household budgets.

The Food Foundation also said that people had increasingly opted to take more cold food from food banks because of fears that cooking items would increase their energy costs.

The research by YouGov saw 10,674 adults surveyed online between April 22 and 29. It found the number of people struggling to buy food has risen by 57% in three months. Nearly 14% of survey respondents said they or someone in their household had eaten smaller meals or skipped meals because they were not able to afford it during the past month. This was up from 8.8% of the survey respondents in January. Anna Taylor, executive director of the Food Foundation said the situation is “rapidly turning from an economic crisis to a health crisis” which food banks should not “possibly be expected to solve”.

“The government needs to realise the boat is sinking for many families and it needs to be fixed. Bailing out with emergency food parcels is not going to work,” she added.

A government spokesman said: “We recognise the pressures on the cost of living and we are doing what we can to help, including spending £22bn across the next financial year to support people with energy bills and cut fuel duty.

I’ve noticed that my local supermarkets are not as busy at weekends. On Saturday, I asked the manager of one of the UK’s biggest chains if I was imagining it or if it really was a lot less busy than normal.

He said footfall was way down although he couldn’t put an exact number on it. He told me that it’s undoubtedly down to rising prices.

Wicked, Mad, Stupid? Or All Three?

[The Expose]: First, while most attention has (rightly) been concentrated on the human consequences of the Shanghai lockdowns, there is something else happening there.

More than 30 firms producing crucial electronic components have had to halt production in Kunshan, a city which is close to Shanghai. The lockdown rules affecting Shanghai have now spread to Kunshan.

These shutdowns will severely damage China’s already slowing economy.

But it isn’t just China which will be affected.

The factories which have had to shut make a variety of electronic products – including printed-circuits, flat screens, lens and so on.

The result of their closure will be a global shortage of components. Factories everywhere will have to shut down.

So the unemployment problem will grow.

Is this the Real Reason for the Shanghai Shutdown?

Second, the World Trade Organisation has finally realised the extent of the global problem (as predicted here an aeon ago). It has cut its goods trade growth forecast by a third because of the shortage of commodities caused by the war in Ukraine and, more importantly, the sanctions brought in by Biden, Johnson et al.

And the WTO has spotted that the result will be widespread hunger.

Thirty five African countries obtain food from Ukraine, Russia or both.

Twenty two African countries import fertiliser from Ukraine, Russia or both.

It is now expected that wheat prices in some parts of sub-Saharan Africa could rise by up to 85%.

Hundreds of millions of Africans will die because of the war and the artificial sanctions which were introduced by the West.

Global genocide is an excellent way to reduce the world population without anyone noticing. Citizens in the UK and the US are fretting about citizens in Ukraine but don’t seem to care about the big losers – poor people in Africa.

Third, producers of biomass (bits of tree which have been chopped down and transported huge distances to be burnt in power stations) are lobbying the EU to water down rules that would protect forests.

Nearly two thirds of the EU’s renewable energy comes from burning wood.

And the biomass burners want to be able to chop down more forests to turn into pellets which they can burn to produce electricity. (All those electric cars on the roads are putting a huge strain on electricity providers.)

Curiously, the climate change cultists (who once said we needed more trees) appear to be enthusiastic about burning trees instead of burning fossil fuels. They regard the burning of trees as ‘green’ – though the scientific evidence shows that burning trees is worse for the environment than burning coal.

It is quite possible that the covid-19 jabs which the climate change cultists were so keen to have may have damaged their brains.

Or maybe it was the masks they’ve been assiduously wearing.

Soaring fertilizer prices to spark global famines unseen in modern history

[Natural News]: A modern-era crisis is looming with global prices for fertilizer tripling and food production dwindling.

Articles about the twin issues have come out, but the corporate media in the United States are downplaying them despite their probable catastrophic impact worldwide.

Experts have already warned about the crisis, and a European CEO even told the media last November about a low crop harvest in the world this year.

“I want to say this loud and clear right now, that we risk a very low crop in the next harvest. I’m afraid we’re going to have a food crisis,” said Svein Tore Holsether, the CEO and president of Oslo-based company Yara International.

Holsether added that a food crisis is impending because the cost to manufacture a ton of ammonia has risen nearly 10 times. The natural-gas standard, on the other hand, hit an all-time high in September with the price more than tripling from June to October in Europe.

Yara is a main producer of ammonia, a key ingredient used in synthetic fertilizer, which boosts crop yields. The process of creating ammonia relies on either hydropower or natural gas.

Food prices will climb in 2021 as inflation accelerates

The CEOs of the supermarket chains are already worried that these new lock downs will cause a buying panic, leading to food and supply shortages that could be more difficult to recover from. Toilet paper sales soared by 23 percent after the government warned of new lock downs. Since the news got out, there has been a noticeable uptick in purchases of tinned goods, pasta and pain relief tablets.

In some areas, COVID-19 lockdowns are triggering huge spikes in food prices

[Natural News]: Even though the Wuhan coronavirus (COVID-19) plandemic would seem to be petering out, many Americans are still paying higher-than-normal prices for staple food items.

C+R Research launched a study to check the pulse on prices throughout the country, determining that upwards of 85 percent of Americans are paying more now for grocery items like meat, eggs and milk than they did prior to March when the plandemic did not yet exist.

The group surveyed 2,040 consumers about their shopping habits, budget and diet. They found that beef and eggs have seen the most significant price increases due to the plandemic, followed by poultry.
