Eyes are not easily deceived
Blinking in the star light
Blinded in that instance
The lightning detonation
An apparition stands before them
A manifestation within the material plane
A presence not of the earth
But still very much alive
Moving shadows
Out of the corner of the eye
Figments of the imagination maybe
But to the old campaigner
The eyes know it is real
Silent watcher
Another haunting
A comet of light passes by
And the eyes take in that perfect detail
Another wonder to behold
The wisdom of the learned
And the secret remains
Because the material world would not believe
The claims would be the eyes deceive
Imagination is the fuel ... yes
But imagination is the doorway to the great beyond
It is the avenue through which the truth does shine
So the eyes are grateful to witness the phenomena
