They falsely blame Syria for US aggression on the country, aided by its imperial partners and jihadist proxies.
The latest NYT report falsely blamed Damascus for Turkish aggression, its propaganda piece saying the following:
“Syrian government attacks on Turkish positions in northwest Syria are driving Turkey deeper into the country’s civil war, prompting it to send reinforcements to the region and press for a Turkish-controlled military zone there.”
Fact: Syria is Obama’s war, escalated by Trump — NATO, Israel, the Saudis, and Turkey partnering with US aggression.
Fact: Syrian military operations are all about self-defense against foreign invaders and their jihadist proxies.
Fact: There’s nothing remotely “civil” about US aggression.
Fact: Turkey is a hostile invader, occupying Syrian territory illegally, Erdogan wanting it annexed.
Fact: Instead of opposing ISIS, al-Nusra, and likeminded terrorists, he actively supports this scourge. The same goes for the US, NATO, Israel and the Saudis.
The Times: “Syrian troops killed eight Turkish soldiers and a civilian contractor last week and five more soldiers on Monday. Backed by Russian bombers, Syrian forces have encircled several Turkish observation posts in the northwestern province of Idlib — posts established by agreements aimed at reducing violence.”
Fact: Killed and wounded Turkish soldiers were operating alongside jihadists who were shelling Syrian soldiers and civilians.
