made headlines by deciding to issue new guidelines on aliens and how it
will deal with potential encounters in the future.

Historically, the Vatican has maintained a cautious
stance on the topic of extraterrestrial life. The last time the
Vatican’s doctrinal office issued norms for evaluating alleged
apparitions and reports of supernatural events was in February 1978.

necessary given how news of alleged apparitions spreads rapidly thanks
