Isis Unveiled

No astral soul, even that of a pure, good, and virtuous man, is immortal in the strictest sense; "from elements it was formed--to elements it must return." Only, while the soul of the wicked vanishes, and is absorbed without redemption, that of every other person, even moderately pure, simply changes its ethereal particles for still more ethereal ones; and, while there remains in it a spark of the Divine, the individual man, or rather, his personal ego, cannot die. "After death," says Proclus, "the soul (the spirit) continueth to linger in the aerial body (astral form), till it is entirely purified from all angry and voluptuous passions . . . then doth it put off by a second dying the aerial body as it did the earthly one. Whereupon, the ancients say that there is a celestial body always joined with the soul, and which is immortal, luminous, and star-like."

Fluoride in Drinking Water may Negatively Affect Health of Fetuses and Infants

Did you know that fluoride in our water supplies is the only chemical added for a specific medical purpose, i.e. to prevent tooth decay? All other chemicals are added for treatment purposes, to improve the quality and safety of tap water.

And an expert has voiced his concerns over the potential negative impact of fluoride in drinking water on the health of fetuses and infants.Dr Vyvyan Howard is a medical pathologist and toxicologist, and also President of the International Society of Doctors for the Environment. In a short video clip put together by the Fluoride Action Network, he expressed his concern over the use of fluoride in our water supplies.

"Nature has devised a system for keeping fluoride away from the infant, and we are circumventing that by putting fluoride into drinking water, and I think there are consequences," he said. What consequences? According to Dr Howard, fluoride is a developmental toxin. More specifically, it is a neurotoxin, and it may also affect the intelligence of the child.

While the evidence may not yet be clear-cut, there do seem to be strong indications.Further, Dr Howard said that other studies have shown the possible ability of fluoride to affect hormonal systems and endocrine systems.

In particular, it can influence thyroid levels, and that can have an impact on the IQ in children who are in the development phase. When thyroid levels are measured in the mother, being at the upper limit of the normal range of thyroid and being at the lower limit of the normal range brings about a difference in intelligence in the offspring.

Where thyroid levels are concerned, we are thus "tinkering with quite a sensitive system". .... READ MORE ...

Oops... Astronaut loses tool bag while carrying out DIY repairs on ISS spacewalk

It's a common question voiced by many exasperated DIY enthusiasts... just where did I put my tool bag? For one astronaut, making repairs to the International Space Station, the answer was unfortunately into infinity.

Lead spacewalker Heidemarie Stefanyshyn-Piper was working on restoring full power to the orbital outpost when she lost her vital kit, 200 miles above Earth.

The astronaut from the Endeavour shuttle had realised one of the grease guns she was using had leaked, soiling her glove. Then, as she attempted to wipe the grease from her hands, the bag containing her tools floated off into space.

'Oh, great,' said Stefanyshyn-Piper, who was making her third spacewalk. 'You see it?'
Crewmates monitoring the spacewalk from inside the shuttle spied the bag drifting past the station and off into space. Thankfully experts believe it will eventually spiral down into Earth's atmosphere where it will burn up. (Source: Daily Mail)

Inspiration Of The Day

Dive deeply into the heart of the question of what it means to be fully human.
Do not be satisfied with your answer until it embraces all of who you are -- both alone and in relationship with others.
Liberation is not an escape from the human condition.
It is the fulfillment of it.

Speed twice and face a ban, drivers are told

Motorists could be banned from the road after just two speeding tickets.

Ministers are doubling the penalty for the worst offences, in a crackdown on Britain's most dangerous drivers. Those caught significantly over the limit would be hit automatically with six points on their licence.

If this happens twice in three years they reach the total for a six-month ban. (Source: Daily Mail)

Germany 1-2 England

Source: BBC Sport

Captain John Terry scored a late winner to earn England a fully-deserved friendly win over Germany in Berlin.

Terry headed in Stewart Downing's free-kick after earlier being involved in a defensive mix-up with Scott Carson that handed Germany an equaliser. The pair failed to deal with a hopeful ball forward and German substitute Patrick Helmes pounced to score. Matthew Upson had put a dominant England ahead when he poked home a corner from the impressive Downing.

The win made it five in a row for Fabio Capello's side on a night where almost everything went right for the England coach. With a host of first-team stars missing Capello took a risk in opting for a youthful side. And his brave move was rewarded with an impressive performance that was full of vigour and some much-improved displays from a number of his fringe players.

The Meaning Of The Bull = Spanish Medical Research, perhaps?

"The face in the moon (the unknown benefactor) gazes on supposedly a respectable individual within a benevolent organisation ('a flock of doves') .... there appears symbolism here to suggest negotiations or purchases at this time relating to the situation somewhere in the world. The robed figure is symbolic is the real 'custodian' watching the images of the apparent crescent moon around the world, with the full knowledge of where .... the shining star seemingly a captive of the political bubble created by the eagle, the lion, the bull and another" (First Impressions- 12th August 2008) (the bull provides an interesting link)

"The Hierophant (who is The Wounded Healer) now unobserved ... linking to the 'dancing bull' but what who or what is 'the dancing bull'? But in the background there are the black and white squares of a 'temple' ... over which the bull now dances. A rider cavorts on top of the dancing bull ... the rider's foot touches the side of a mountain in the background" (Daily Merlin Insight - All Is Not What It Seems - 2nd March 2008)

"The World image depicts a young girl with striking eyes in the centre of the image, with her left foot standing on a symbol of infinity. Around her are the Eagle, The Lion, The Bull and the 'unidentified man' ... four forces bound together in a cause. A cause which Madeleine is now unavoidably involved in ... her face and her plight is somehow the figurehead for their cause (The Eagle = USA: The Lion = The UK and The Bull = Spain perhaps?" (Daily Merlin Insight - The Symbolic 8 of Weapon - 15th February 2008)

"The World image depicts the image of a young girl confined within protection ... hidden from the eyes of 'the Eagle', 'the Lion', 'The Bull' and the 'long haired man' who have their attention elsewhere symbolically in their search for her. The plight of this little girl has been made to reach around the globe to protect her I feel. There is great significance placed around this little girl." What is I-ching

I-ching is one of the classical (ching) Chinese books dating back to Fu Hsi and the Yin dynasty, about 2900 BCE. It was used mainly as divination means, that is a device to predict future events.

The book escaped the arson of books ordered by Ch'in Shih-huang-ti Emperor, in 213 AD.

I-ching is translated usually by Book of Changes, though the word "book" should be taken in the sense of a "holy book" in the Western cultures.

The book is a collection of 64 short essays assigned to 64 figures formed each of 6 continuous and/or broken lines (____ or __ __). These figures are called hexagrams.
Each hexagram corresponds to a specific life situation, therefore when consulting I-ching as oracle it leads one to his/her specific life situation and its development in time.

Tarot Card of the Day

The Nine Of Disks (The Lord of Gain) is one of the cards which usually receives a hearty welcome when it comes up in a reading. At the mundane level it indicates the financial rewards which come from working diligently and dedicatedly on an important project, so it will often mark a stage of completion. In the workplace it will show that hard work is rewarded both by appreciation and an increase of salary. Sometimes it can indicate promotion (though rarely a total change of workplace) earned as a result of loyalty and attention to detail.

As you'll remember, Disks not only deal with our financial area, but also with day-to-day security in the family environment. So sometimes the Lord of Gain can come up to indicate consolidation and achievement at home. Perhaps an emotional conflict has finally been resolved, or a long-standing problem finally dealt with.

At the spiritual level, this card talks a lot about the principle that what we give to life is what we get back. And here we have confirmation that we have lived as much as we are able in the moment, appreciating the things that come our way, and celebrating the bounty we have. As a result, more abundance flows in.

The card rarely indicates windfalls, or unexpected sources of income. Here we have worked hard to create something rewarding, and the Lord of Gain indicates the results of our efforts.

Australia planning to block 10,000 websites

Source: Daily Telegraph

The websites will be blocked as part of a government-sponsored trial of its filter technology that will start before Christmas and last six weeks.

The government has already identified 1300 websites that it wants to black list as part of the clean feeds scheme.

"While the ACMA blacklist is currently around 1300 URLs, the pilot will test against this list - as well as filtering for a range of URLs to around 10,000 - so that the impacts on network performance of a larger blacklist can be examined," se said.

The government is calling for ISP providers to express interest in taking part in the trial. Just one ISP has volunteered so far.

A spokesman for Mr Conroy said: ''The pilot will provide an invaluable opportunity for ISPs to inform the Government’s approach. ''The live pilot will provide valuable real-world evidence of the potential impact on internet speeds and costs to industry and will help ensure we implement a filtering solution that is efficient, effective and easy for Australian families to use.''

A trial of web-filtering technology earler this year found it could slow internet access by as much as 87 per cent and by at least 2 per cent. Australia's internet service is already notoriously sluggish.

Isis Unveiled

What is the WILL? Can "exact science" tell? What is the nature of that intelligent, intangible, and powerful something which reigns supreme over all inert matter? The great Universal Idea willed, and the cosmos sprang into existence. I will, and my limbs obey. I will, and, my thought traversing space, which does not exist for it, envelops the body of another individual who is not a part of myself, penetrates through his pores, and, superseding his own faculties, if they are weaker, forces him to a predetermined action. It acts like the fluid of a galvanic battery on the limbs of a corpse. The mysterious effects of attraction and repulsion are the unconscious agents of that will; fascination, such as we see exercised by some animals, by serpents over birds, for instance, is a conscious action of it, and the result of thought. Sealing-wax, glass, and amber, when rubbed, i.e., when the latent heat which exists in every substance is awakened, attract light bodies; they exercise unconsciously, will; for inorganic as well as organic matter possesses a particle of the divine essence in itself, however infinitesimally small it may be. And how could it be otherwise? Notwithstanding that in the progress of its evolution it may from beginning to end have passed through millions of various forms, it must ever retain its germ-point of that preexistent matter, which is the first manifestation and emanation of the Deity itself. What is then this inexplicable power of attraction but an atomical portion of that essence that scientists and kabalists equally recognize as the "principle of life"--the akasa? Granted that the attraction exercised by such bodies may be blind; but as we ascend higher the scale of the organic beings in nature, we find this principle of life developing attributes and faculties which become more determined and marked with every rung of the endless ladder. Man, the most perfect of organized beings on earth, in whom matter and spirit--i.e., will--are the most developed and powerful, is alone allowed to give a conscious impulse to that principle which emanates from him; and only he can impart to the magnetic fluid opposite and various impulses without limit as to the direction. "He wills," says Du Potet, "and organized matter obeys. It has no poles."

Lessons of Discovery

Depending on what stage we are in our lives, we can sometimes feel like we ought to know more about who we are or how to live. We may even berate ourselves for making the same mistakes, or for just not "getting it," whatever "it" may be. We wonder how our lives would be now, if only we had “known better.” During moments like these, it is important to remember that none of us are born with instruction manuals and that learning lessons is a lifelong journey.

Inherent to our being born is that we are here to observe, learn, and grow. Accompanying this is a built-in guarantee that there will be mistakes and misadventures along the way. And while it is only natural that we may sometimes become overwhelmed, especially when the lessons keep coming, it is important to remember that learning to understand yourself and your world is an ongoing and active process where the journey is more important than the destination. Every lesson is intended so you can become more of who you are. And as you grow through this self-discovery, you begin to create your own instruction manual. The "how’s" and "why’s" are yours to discover, and part of the beauty of being alive is that these rules are always changing.

If you feel that you would like to explore what your personal instruction manual may already say, then try writing down in order some of the significant events that have happened to you. It’s also important to take note of what you learned from each one. When you are done, you may be surprised to discover how much you are always growing, and that every lesson learned always informs the next. That being said, there is never any need to be hard on yourself or think that you should have it all figured out. We always know as much as we’re meant to know at that moment, and growing into our fullness is a process that unfolds in divine timing. You and your life are beautiful works in progress. Discover yourself and embrace your life’s lessons, and your instruction manual will create itself.

For your next lesson: Every school may get a counsellor to deal with 1million children with mental health problems

Source: Daily Mail

Counsellors are to be sent into schools to combat a sharp rise in mental health problems among children. One in ten youngsters - more than a million - now has a clinically recognisable disorder such as depression, anxiety, anorexia or severe anti-social behaviour, a government inquiry found. And millions more may have 'lower-level' mental health problems that do not warrant a diagnosis but cause concern and put them at risk of struggling at school.

Ministers yesterday announced a £20million programme to expand a pilot scheme in which counsellors and other specialist staff set up a base on school premises and help children with problems such as aggressive behaviour and self-harming. Children's minister Beverley Hughes said the scheme could eventually be rolled out to any school where pupils needed it. The government-funded review highlighted research spanning 25 years and found that the prevalence of many mental health problems has doubled since the 1970s.

One Is All

How much wisdom can you take?
Do you know nothing is ever a mistake?
Distractions and misdirections are fate
Every emotional state
Every angry deed
Every expression of greed
All is knowledge to the wise
Watching the sun rise
The crashing waves on the shore
Materialism is the wanting more and more
The rememberance of before the forgetfulness
The ball of wool rolling in a mess
The unravelling of all that is
To recall moments spent in higher bliss

The consciousness knows all
It is infinity, it is wholeness, it is the fall
It is the expansion of the universe
It is the plain, it is the diverse
All are within made seperate

To experience every aspect of fate
Consciousness under duress
Living in moments of leisure and of stress
Contrasting tones together but alone
On the outside realise what is shown
Opposites combine into one
One is all, all is that infinite one
Consciousness made to forget
To remember what it is ....

Insight Unveiled - Update

Just to clarify the 'unveiled' insights posted last night. My stance hasn't changed. I'm still 100% adamant that Madeleine McCann is very much alive and well. I'm not pointing any finger of blame towards Gerry & Kate McCann ... I'm still confident they were not involved in the disappearance of their oldest daughter on the night of 3rd May 2007.

I'm quite certain that someone has tried to frame Gerry & Kate in some way ... by way of planted information in the apartment and the insinuations they had 'accidentally' killed their daughter ...

That certain someone is linked directly with who has current possession of Madeleine McCann.

Tarot Card of the Day

The Lord of Works indicates concentrated effort applied with great determination and diligence to a situation requiring your whole attention. This is a card that often comes up to mark the achievement of goals in your working area, and teaches attainment through effort. It advises you to keep the pressure up so that you maintain momentum, and to pay attention to detail.

It will sometimes appear in a reading to reveal a period where you concentrate all your thoughts and aspirations on one target, and then channel all your energies into that project, to the exclusion of all else.

Sometimes people do this in order to avoid facing emotional pain and distress. It's worth looking for evidence of this when the 3 of Disks comes up. Whilst it can be useful in the short-term to achieve something when you feel hurt, it can often be very damaging if you continue to hide from your own feelings. (Source: Angelpaths)

On The Road to Moronity

The elite power configuration that controls America—what do they desire most for the average American citizen? Moronity. Christian fundamentalist kinds of Irrationality. Dearth of freethinking. Citizens moved enough by words to ignore evidence, frightened enough to simply "Trust us."

A nation of consumers as easily and predictably manipulated as sheep into working hard and paying hard for their own demise while refusing to even imagine the ultimate sacrifice of America to gods of the New World Order. That’s about it, the rest is lies. Sometimes pretty lies, blinding we’re-number-one lies, trust-us lies. "Terrorists!" lies, and reassuring lies...but always, lies.

Two thousand years ago, five centuries before the collapse of Rome, Tiberius Caesar announced, "I want my sheep shorn, not shaven." In America, especially since the sheep have just been gored for another trillion dollars—this time to reward financial mavens for catastrophic economic effects of their sheer greed, virtually no taxpayer benefit, American shears have been covered with skin, blood, meat.

The sheep are stirring. But the "Raiders", First Brigade Combat Team of the Army’s Third Division, deployed on home soil as of October 1, have been specially trained to use the first-ever modular, nonlethal package of weapons the Army has fielded. Under command of US Army North, the Army’s component of NorthCom—the Pentagon’s northern command, which was created after 9/11 to defend the US "homeland", the Raiders, in gross violation of posse comitatus, will aid local, state and federal authorities in crowd control.

So the sheep might bleat and stir, but serious revolt—any meaningful kinds of protest granted as rights under the Constitution—are likely to face the new package of nonlethal weapons. 1st BCT’s Raiders are 4000 combat-seasoned troops fresh from three tours of duty in Iraq; an elite killing force deployed at home to subdue the unruly and dangerous without killing them. Unruly and dangerous, in "elite-speak" means anyone who cares enough about the scuttling of America to do something that might actually help...people who understand that in the horrors of the last eight years there have been no accidents. Film-makers taking on our 'global warming hysteria'

A new Irish film claims that climate change guru Al Gore is an alarmist and that those who think they are saving the planet are only hurting the poor.

If the advance publicity is anything to go by, Not Evil Just Wrong will do for Al Gore what Michael Moore's Fahrenheit 9/11 did for George W Bush.

"This is the film Al Gore and Hollywood don't want you to see," declares the website for the latest work by film-makers Ann McElhinney and Phelim McAleer. The site even features a big picture of Gore, with his lips in the photograph seemingly digitally enhanced to make them look like Heath Ledger's Joker from the latest Batman film.

The website goes on to say that their latest film - which takes on what are described as global warming alarmists - is "the most controversial documentary of the year". Indeed, it could very well be the most controversial. And Al Gore and Hollywood may well not want you to see it. And in that respect, Gore and co are actually succeeding for the moment. Because there is no completed film. Not yet anyway.

McElhinney and McAleer have raised almost $1 million (€799,000) but need a total of $4.5m (€3.6m) to allow for a full cinema release. They say they were acutely disappointed at being turned down for funding by the Irish Film Board, especially its conclusion that it was "repetitive and creatively thin". (Source: Irish Times)

O Baaa Ma!

Bill Clinton could pose Cabinet problem

Former President Bill Clinton's international business dealings, global foundation and penchant for going off script could present a significant obstacle to Hillary Clinton becoming secretary of state, observers say.

On the one hand, his established relationships with world leaders could instantly make the New York senator a welcome face in embassies around the world. On the other, his complicated global business interests could present future conflicts of interest that result in unneeded headaches for the incoming commander-in-chief.

"These are issues that I'm sure are being discussed, and they will have to be worked out, and it's legitimate to ask these questions," said James Carville, a former aide to the Clintons and CNN contributor.

Two officials with President-elect Barack Obama's transition team confirm to CNN that it is investigating Bill Clinton's finances and post-presidential dealings. As part of the early vetting process, the team is looking for any negative information that could throw the prospect of Hillary Clinton as secretary of state into jeopardy. A particular issue could be the donor list of Bill Clinton's global foundation, which might show connections to international figures who push policies that might conflict with those of the new Obama administration. Isis Unveiled

“IS it enough for man to know that he exists? Is it enough to be formed a human being to enable him to deserve the appellation of MAN? It is our decided impression and conviction, that to become a genuine spiritual entity, which that designation implies, man must first create himself anew, so to speak -- i.e., thoroughly eliminate from his mind and spirit, not only the dominating influence of selfishness and other impurity, but also the infection of superstition and prejudice. The latter is far different from what we commonly term antipathy or sympathy. We are at first irresistibly or unwittingly drawn within its dark circle by that peculiar influence, that powerful current of magnetism which emanates from ideas as well as from physical bodies. By this we are surrounded, and finally prevented through moral cowardice -- fear of public opinion -- from stepping out of it.”

Image of the Day (Another Optical Illusion)

Staying Afloat Amidst the Spin

Every time you interact with others, you have the choice to listen to, acknowledge, and let go of their words, or you can take what they are saying personally. Taking things personally is often the result of perceiving a person’s actions or words as an affront or slight. In order to take something personally, you must read negative intent in an individual’s words or actions. But what people do and say has no bearing upon you and is usually based on their own experiences, emotions, and perceptions. If you attempt to take what they do or say personally, you may end up feeling hurt without reason.

If you are tempted to take a comment or action personally, creating some distance between yourself and the other person can help you. Try to determine what is at the root of your feelings. Ask yourself if the other person’s words or actions are just reinforcing some insecurity within you or if you can really be sure that an offense was intended. You may even want to ask them what they meant. Finally, put yourself in the other person’s shoes. Instead of taking their words as the truth, or as a personal affront, remember that whatever was said or done is based on their opinion and is more reflective of what is going on inside of them, rather than having anything to do with you. You may have been an easy target for someone having a bad day, and their comments may have been offered with no ill intentions.

When you recognize that what anyone says or does doesn’t necessarily have anything to do with you, you will no longer feel hurt or attacked. While it’s easy to take things personally, you should never let anyone’s perceptions or actions affect how you see yourself or your worth. Your life is personal to you, and it is up to you to influence your own value and sense of well-being.

Inspiration For The Day

Do not be troubled by the arising of thought, desire and expectations.
Allow them to be what they inherently are: limited manifestations of That which is Unlimited.

Worry, fear and regret are based upon imagined stories we tell ourselves about Reality.
Trust is a fundamental acknowledgement of the ultimate benevolence, wholeness and integrity of Reality, as it is.

Insights Unveiled ...

More of the unveiling is intended over the coming weeks. It's been a hectic few months with the focus being on a big construction tender ... however watch this space.

However, the first port of call, is likely to be a run down on findings relating to aspects of the mystery undertaken by remote viewing.

For example, several remote viewing exercises were undertaken around the apartment where MM was alleged to have been taken from by an unknown assailant. The interesting thing here ... in the majority of the remote viewings ... I was unable to find anything other than minor connections with MM in the apartment. Initially I was very dismissive of this 'information' I was recording. But as it was a persistent re-occurrence I began to take note of what the remote viewings were indicating. I therefore began to look further afield until I could find stronger links to MM. Thus, when I did, these links appeared to paint a different picture of the events that night. Of that day.

The apartment ... I am very suspicious of the 'DNA evidence' alleged to have been uncovered there. It appears to have been a plant ... a diversion ... a counter-intelligence ... and not absolute fact. These insights have been 'revealed' by psychic means and are in no way conclusive. But other workings undertaken by divination appear to collaborate with this insight. Plus there are pages and pages of information provided by 'the other side' which provide another interesting angle to the apartment and the night of 3rd May 2007 ....

Back in the Fold

Hiho hiho ... it's back to work I went this morning after a weekend's break in Sydney.

I realised a childhood ambition to climb the steps of the Sydney Opera House. Walked miles and miles through the busy Sydney streets looking at shops. Got caught up in the gridlocked traffic on Friday night during a violent thunderstorm ... and we also picked up our eldest Mark from the airport.

I'm now back into the fold with work, work and more work .... and Kristine is still plotting her revenge (he he) ...

Dream Interpretation - The Mystery of Dreams - Symbols Indicating Danger - The Spider

Our dreams are strange and mysterious because they follow a logic that is totally different from the logic of our human conscience and their language is also totally different from the languages we are used to. We are used to languages made with words, while our dreams' language is made with images, sensations and feelings.

The dreams have an author: the wise unconscious mind, which is wise and has a saintly character. This is an organ that doesn't belong to the human being - it is given to him by a superior human conscience that has reached perfection and could be named God.

The information and the guidance you have in dreams is always protective. The unconscious mind is always trying to protect your mental health from the attacks of the anti-conscience, the wild side of your conscience, which is primitive, violent and evil. It lives constantly trying to destroy the human side of your conscience through craziness in order to control your behavior, and this is why the unconscious mind lives constantly protecting your human side, sending you secret messages in a symbolic form, so that the anti-conscience won't understand its directions.

There is an invisible fight inside you, between the wise unconscious mind that tries to save your humanity eliminating the poisonous anti-conscience, and this dangerous part of your brain and psyche that is so cruel and wild. You represent the human side of your conscience, the only part of your brain you have access to.

The other parts are invisible for you, but they are fighting for you: the human conscience.

The evil anti-conscience wants to destroy you completely and take your place, while the wise and saintly unconscious mind is trying to save you and transform you into a wise, sensible and sensitive human being, so that you may live happily forever.

Dream Symbols which indicate great danger are the following:

The Spider - If you see a spider in a dream, this is reason for alarm. The spider represents a great danger threatening your future. If you don't pay attention to various important details of reality and if you don't do what you must in order to solve an important problem, the consequences will be very bad for you. The spider is trying to show you that there is an invisible trap in the air. The dream messages have a protective character and that your worst enemy is the anti-conscience that tries to destroy the human side of your conscience through craziness.

What does it mean? It means that this wild part of your brain is constantly invading the conscious field and trying to make you follow its suggestions. If you pay attention to them and you follow them, you start losing the notion of what you are doing and you also start losing control of your life and your behavior.

Now, the spider may represent a danger in your daily life, which is also related to the anti-conscience. Everything that happens with you can give an opportunity to the anti-conscience to start influencing your thoughts and your behavior, while pushing you towards the labyrinth of craziness.

Chakra Meditation

More than 2,000 years ago the Hindu yogis of India made a special effort to tune in to, and map, the energies of the 'aura' or 'subtle body'. Since then various, sometimes contradictory, descriptions have come down to us via a number of different routes including 'tantric yoga', 'laya yoga', kundalini yoga' and (relatively recently) 'theosophy'. The apparent contradictions between different traditions surely illustrate that this can be a complex and difficult area to investigate.

The energy of the subtle body is not something that can be seen with the normal eye, and even though yogis began to model it a long time ago, with sensitivities developed through meditative practise, currently science tends not to admit it's existence. As yet such things cannot be measured with the tools of normal scientific research. But. Acupuncture (for instance) works, (even if science can't explain how it works) and acupuncture also deals with the energies of the subtle body. So clearly something is going on!

Clearly the energies of the subtle body are not completely illusory. However, we do need to proceed with caution. Here are some of the problems we face:

Firstly, few of us are strongly clairvoyant, with the ability to percieve subtle body energies directly with some kind of 'inner eye'.

Secondly, because we are not naturally or strongly clairvoyant, few of us are in a position to come to our own conclusions about the veracity of the often-conficting maps of the subtle body that have been handed down, where one tradition says that a certain chakra is red, whilst another says that it is gold, and so on.

The third important point to bear in mind is one that has often been overlooked by Western writers. It concerns the traditional images of the individual chakras, where each one supposedly has a number of 'petals', along with a colour or colours for the central area, and a colour or colours for the petals.

Traditionally, also, a chakra will have been represented as having a certain set of Sanskrit letters inscribed on the petals, along with symbols in the centre such as crescent moons, geometric shapes and so on …

The important point to remember here however is that these images were not meant to be 100% figurative. They were not meant to represent chakras as they would look if only we had sufficient paranormal ability to see for ourselves.

New libel case victory for Robert Murat

Former Norfolk car salesman Robert Murat has won another libel action over claims surrounding allegations made about the abduction of Madeleine McCann.

Mr Murat, 34, who used to live at Hockering, near Dereham, has accepted substantial undisclosed damages from British Sky Broadcasting over an article and video on the Sky News website. His solicitor Louis Charalambous told Mr Justice Eady - sitting at London's High Court - that the material claimed that in the early days after Madeleine's disappearance from Praia da Luz, Portugal, in May 2007, Mr Murat's behaviour was reminiscent of child murderer Ian Huntley.

There was also a suggestion that Mr Murat - who was not in court yesterday - had deliberately tried to mislead journalists by pretending to be acting in an official capacity for the police.Victoria Shore, counsel for BSkyB, which is also paying Mr Murat's costs, made an unreserved apology for publishing the false allegations, and the distress caused.

Mr Charalambous told the judge that the allegations were entirely untrue and it was accepted that Mr Murat had no involvement whatever in the abduction of Madeleine. (Source: EDP24)

What's the big picture for your life? Always have a larger, purposeful, even spiritually ideal picture of where you are going. Your mind needs to have a clear and challenging vision to draw you ever upwards.

"Far away there in the sunshine are my highest aspirations. I may not reach them, but I can look up and see their beauty,
believe in them, and follow where they lead." -- Louisa May Alcott

Big Pharma Promoting Highly-Addictive Schedule-III Painkiller Drugs to Little Boys

Big Pharma is promoting Zamicet, a schedule-III painkiller (like a highly-addictive narcotic that would land you in prison if you sold it on the street) to treat young boys. This is the implication of a new ad (see below) in which a young boy in a karate outfit appears in the Zamicet ad.Drug companies, it appears, will sell anything to anyone, including infants, toddlers and young boys. It's not enough to drug them on Ritalin and SSRIs, now they need powerful painkilling narcotics, too! (Natural News)

Searaser device in uphill battle for clean energy

A device that harnesses the power of the sea to push water uphill has been developed to provide cheap renewable electricity. The invention is designed to pump water hundreds of feet above sea level from where it can gush downhill to drive hydroelectric generators.

Pumping is made possible by the motion of waves lifting the device, Searaser, as it floats in the sea, and gravity bringing it down again in the wave troughs. A prototype has just completed tests in which it pumped water more than 160ft (50m) uphill through a pipe the diameter of a saucer. The full-size device is expected to pump water through a pipe the diameter of a dustbin lid up at least 650ft (200m) – or easily enough to clear the top of Beachy Head, which is 530ft (160m) high.

A series of reservoirs would be built – and in some areas would be reopened – at the top of coastal cliffs and hills to store water until it was needed to generate electricity.
Alvin Smith, the engineer who developed Searaser, envisages alternative uses such as pumping desalinated water inland for irrigation in dry countries.

However, he said its main use would be to help Britain to end its reliance on fossil fuels and so reduce the man-made emissions of carbon dioxide that are blamed widely for causing, or at least contributing significantly to, climate change. (The Times Online)

Beings of Light

During each of our journeys, there are those inevitable moments when someone comes into our life at precisely the right time and says or does precisely the right thing. Their words or actions may help us perceive ourselves more clearly, remind us that everything will turn out for the best, help us cope, or see us through difficult situations. These people are human angels – individuals designated by the universe to be of service to those in need at specific points in time. Some human angels make a commitment before their births to make a positive contribution to the world at a particular moment. Others were chosen by the universe. All human angels, however, come into our lives when we least expect them and when we can most benefit from their presence.

A few of the human angels we may encounter are in professions where helping others is an everyday occurrence. But most of them are regular people, going about their daily lives until called upon to be in the right place at the right time to bring peace, joy, help, or heal someone when they most need it. You may have met a human angel in the form of a teacher who gave you a piece of advice that touched your soul and influenced your path. The person that momentarily stopped you to say hello on the street, delaying you long enough to avoid an oncoming car or a collision, is also a human angel. They may offer nothing more than a kind word or a smile, but they will offer it when you can draw the most strength and support from their simple action.

You may be a human angel yet not know it. Your fate or intuition may guide you toward other people’s challenging or distressing situations, leading you to infer that you simply have bad luck. But recognizing yourself as a human angel can help you deal with the pain you see and understand that you are there to help and comfort others during their times of need. Human angels give of their inner light to all who need it, coming into our lives and often changing us forever. Their task has its challenges, but it is they that have the power to teach, bring us joy, and comfort us in times of despair.

Man Utd 5 v 0 Stoke

Source: BBC Sport

Cristiano Ronaldo's 100th Manchester United goal set his side on their way to an emphatic home win over Stoke.

The Portuguese winger smashed home a trademark free-kick from 25 yards before turning provider for Michael Carrick to fire in United's second. Dimitar Berbatov volleyed home to extend the lead before 17-year-old Danny Welbeck marked his Premier League debut with a stunning strike. Ronaldo sealed the win with his second, another expertly taken free-kick.

The three points were a fitting reward for manager Sir Alex Ferguson, who was celebrating 50 years in football after making his playing debut as a 16-year-old during Queens Park's 2-1 defeat at Stranraer on 15 November 1958.
