Treasure Hunting

Life is full of little wonders that can make us happy. The sound of a baby’s laughter, a good book, the comforting smell of a favorite old sweatshirt, and the warmth from a cup of hot tea are simple pleasures that can easily put smiles on our faces. A key to doing so is taking the time to put those rose colored glasses from childhood back on so you can easily find the joy in all the “little things” that life has to offer.
Finding a puppy rummaging through the laundry basket, trying on that perfect shade of lipstick, or discovering the extra change you left in your back pocket can turn into moments of delight. Like kids digging in the sandbox for buried trinkets, we may even begin to experience happiness when we engage in the seemingly mundane. Figuring out a software program can feel like deciphering a treasure map, and that first sip of tea in the morning can taste like a forbidden delicacy. Swaying to music playing on the radio can turn into an interpretive jig, riding a bike can seem like flying to the moon, and getting a phone call from that special someone can feel like winning the lottery. A pickup game of basketball becomes an exciting match among champions, and observing an elderly couple walking hand in hand can turn into a meditation on peace and contentment.
When we begin rediscovering that the little things in life can make us happy, we naturally want to share this joy with others. We may gush over a friend when we run into them unexpectedly, praise a street musician for their talents, or blow bubbles for the neighborhood kids to chase. We may even start to think of the little things we can do to make other people happy, which in turn makes us happy all over again. There is an endless supply of little things and little moments that can make us happy. All we have to do is look for them, and they’ll magically start to appear.

Grace is in the rain bringing relief to drought-ridden farms, and the unexpected lead for the perfect job opportunity that comes from a stranger. Grace is what happens to someone when they miraculously escape injury; it is even the simple events that happen to us that we call “good luck,” like when we don’t get a parking ticket after are meter has expired. Grace resides in the love between two people, the gift or check that comes unexpectedly in the mail, the cozy comforts that make up a home, and in the acts of forgiveness we bestow upon others. It is grace that moves us to go out of our way to help a stranger. In music, a grace note is the pause between notes that is so important to the pacing of a song. Grace is the state we are in when we are doing nothing but just being who we are.
When we accept that we always exist in a state of grace, we are able to live our lives more graciously. Knowing we are graced gives us hope, makes us more generous, and allows us to trust that we are taken care of even when we are going through difficult times. Grace is our benevolence of heart, and our generosity of spirit. Grace is unconditional love and the beauty that is our humanity. When we know that we are blessed with grace, we can’t help but want to live our lives in harmony.

The Light at the End of the Tunnel

When our next best course of action seems unclear, any dilemmas we face can appear insurmountable. Yet there is nothing we cannot overcome with time, persistence, focused thought, help, and faith. Whatever the situation or problem, there is always a solution. And if you remember to look within, even as you search around you for the “right” course of action, you will be able to center yourself, clear your mind, and see that nothing has to be impossible.
The first step in overcoming any obstacle is to believe that it can be overcome. Doing so will give you the strength and courage to move through any crisis. The second step is to make a resolution that you can prevail over any chaos. Enlist your support network of family and friends if necessary. The more minds there are to consider a problem, the more solutions can be found. Don’t discount ideas just because they seem impractical or “unrealistic,” and don’t keep searching for the “best” alternative. Often there is no “best” choice, there is only a choice to make so we can begin moving beyond whatever is obstructing our path. At the very least, making a choice, even if isn’t the ideal one, can give you a sense of peace before you have to figure out what your next course of action will be.
If you feel overwhelmed by the scope of your troubles, you may want to think of other people who have turned adversity into triumph. We often gain a fresh perspective when we remember others who have overcome larger obstacles. It can be inspiring to hear of their victories, helping us remember that there is always light at the end of every tunnel. It is during our darkest hours that we sometimes need to remind ourselves that we don’t have to feel helpless. You have within and around you the resources to find a solution to any problem. And remember that if a solution or choice you make doesn’t work, you are always free to try another. Believe that you can get through anything, and you will always prevail.

Largest Volcanic Eruption in Grímsvötn in 100 Years

The current volcanic eruption in Grímsvötn on Vatnajökull glacier is the largest in that volcano 100 years and larger than the one in Eyjafjallajökull last year. It is similar to the eruption of 1873, according to geophysicist Magnús Tumi Gudmundsson. A large flood is not expected. What struck me tonight were a number of strange juxtapositions. First off, there are the items about weather and earthquake weapons that made the rounds over the past week or so. The first one was about former Defense Secretary Cohen openly referring to HAARP when he admitted to programs that could "alter the climate, set off earthquakes, volcanoes remotely through the use of electromagnetic waves." Search for it on the net, you'll find it on a bunch of conspiracy sites (not that we don't think there's a whole bunch of conspiring going on ourselves here on SOTT.net). Admitting to programs that can alter climate, set off earthquakes, etc., is a bit ambitious and really has nothing to do with HAARP. HAARP is for mind control. However, earthquakes can be set off with EMP weapons from satellites. I think these clowns would love people to think that they can control climate - and maybe they can if they set off a volcano. But what they are really trying to do is blow smoke around REAL Earth Changes; changes that they have no weapons to stop. And these Earth Changes are what could, conceivably, destroy most of life on Earth. It drives me nuts when people keep going on about HAARP and that 'chemtrail' nonsense, and none of them are asking about all the secret space missions of the past ten years or more, nor even really using their noggins to think this thing through. The World is Mad .... Life's Easier When You Know

Humanity as a whole is being programmed to read reality in the desired way – desired by the controllers – by having beliefs and perceptions implanted through ‘education’ (yeah, right), the media, doctors, scientists, politicians and so on. The vast majority are not even doing it knowingly – they are programmed themselves to program others.

The mind-body decoding system is also systematically imbalanced and destabilised through chemical additives in food and drink, fluoride and other shite in the water supplies, and ever gathering forms of electrical, electromagnetic and radiation pollution. The mind-body is an electrochemical organism on one level and so, of course, it can be distorted electrochemically – and it is.

Vital for the Control System (the very few) to make slaves of the people (the enormous many) is to ensure that the people perceive and decode reality only through the lens of mind-body and maintain a life-time disconnection from the influence of their true and eternal self – Consciousness. When you retain the connection between mind-body (the computer) and Consciousness (the one at the desk with the mouse and keyboard) you have everything you need. Doomsday soothsayer Harold Camping insists that the world will end in a few hours from now, with a destructive earthquake pulverizing each region of the world at 6 P.M. local time. “Before you were born a group of elders in our temple were asked to leave. They were exiled from the temple because their beliefs were different to ours. As you know, our basic teaching involves the coming of the one to the manifest plane to save the fallen ones. Our disconnection from source had been monitored after the failings of the first fall. Our mission is to make contact with our kin in animal form and help them to remember ourselves.”

I nodded and remained silent. It was a known teaching. I beckoned for him to continue.

“Our order strictly forbids any experimentation on animals. It abhors any selfishness. Any soul who deliberately hides any acquired knowledge or artifacts from the one. Any soul who ridicules the way of the one. As you know we bear no names in our order; have no need for earthly possessions that we call our own. Everything is shared as we are all one entity. You know this. It seems the group of elders we banished moved to Atlan town and have set up an order of their own. Their teachings are in direct contrast to ours. They welcome animal experimentation; lower themselves to eating the meat of our kin and practice rituals that only further our separation. They teach that the way of the one is a falsehood; that there is no source; that our way is wrong. They have already acquired quite a following. Our being here puts our lives at risk. If you had announced our arrival in the way you had intended then The Sons Of Belial would know of our intention and have us murdered."

There is devilment and darkness afoot in Atlan. And there is more. Already, as we speak, below our feet, the Sons Of Belial are mining in search of the lost technology of our former civilisation. Should they be successful in finding the laboratories, they will be able to fire up the turbines deep within the volcano peaks. Such a discovery will lead to more destruction.

I was shocked. I knew of the first fall of Atlan. That it was caused by a major volcanic eruption brought on by the careless and irresponsible use of our own technology. I had thought it, at times a myth. I knew our islands to be an archipelago; the remains of a much larger single island. The story of The Sons Of Belial was new to me.

I glanced over to my friend and saw he had more to say.

“The Sons Of Belial’, he started, “are reincarnates of the group of beings who wrought terror on Atlan the last time around. They grow in number as they con and mesmerise our peoples with the teachings. They possess a strong energy, that of hate and of revulsion. They hate the one love and have permitted their manifest bodies to gain control of their souls, again. They forget the reason for incarnation. They busily teach others to forget love and oneness. Our role as elders is to teach the peoples of Atlan the meaning of love. Ours is not a simple role. I ask you, my child are you ready to help those in need of your truths?
