SKALD

Every leaf, every tree has a tale to tell
An epic adventure to conjure
to share around brave-heart's fire
While the mystical weave their smells and smokes
and The Norns take stock of our place on the web.

My friend come rest your weary bones
and let this company take away your woes
You are safe here, deep within this gentle land
No harm shall befall you in this glade
Certainly not while you have your tale to tell.

And though the darkness closes in
with its emissaries hearing your every word
Know they shall come no closer
For the voice of mighty Odin rings LOUD in their ears
and his magic shall keep them at bay.

Skald!
'Tis time you told your tale
The warriors are gathered
they have thunder-brew in their bellies
and demand you stand before them.

Fear not, speak and weave your tale
Their minds are ready and they be like a Childs'
Fill their hearts with dread I compel you
so they'll go to their beds truly satisfied
Skald, open your mouth now and tell your tale.
