Smoking "crack" cocaine is the most common method used today. Some users still snort [sniff] the white powder into the nose with a straw or rolled up dollar bill. By both methods of administration, the cocaine travels into the bloodstream quickly, producing immediate effects on the central nervous and cardiovascular systems.
I came across an interesting reading today. The headline the caught my eye, about US Dollar bills found to be tainted with Cocaine in certain states of the US ... the original heading apparently appeared in The Los Angeles Times:
"The notion that most dollars are drug tainted has been well known in law enforcement and scientific circles for ten years." For ten years they've known this. They've known that the dollars we all carry have drugs stuck to 'em. Suddenly I see a druggie who is listening to me grabbing his wallet, sniffing his dollars. Right now you too can get high by sniffing the dollar bills in your wallet."
The article I actually found reads:
Politically Correct Apostate:
Extract: The article Filthy Lucre proceeds to mention that a study conducted at the Houston Advanced Research Center in Texas found that 70-80% of all currency had trace amounts of cocaine hydrochloride on them. In older bills that had been in circulation for some time, 90% had cocaine traces (p.82). The Journal of Forensic Sciences conducted a study in May 1998 that concluded that more than 93% of all bills tested had trace amounts of cocaine hydrochloride present.
In 1997 Tom Jourdan, chief of the Materials and Devices unit at the FBI lab in Washington D.C. found that 90% of bills tested were positive for cocaine.
There are potential serious implications to this issue. Ones which, in this current state of play in the world, are very obvious; especially as the push is towards a cashless society - perhaps the tainting of the dollar bills was intentional by the power's that be? So later down the line they could all be withdrawn from circulation .... ???
Withdrawn so that the cashless society can become a reality in those states. I can imagine the scenario where gullible lobotomised folk are told to surrender their cash to the banks because of the contamination. The replacement will then be a card like a credit card, loaded with credit to the value of the cash they've brought in?
Maybe not ... not that scenario anyway. But if it became 'law' that all paper money has to be withdrawn due to contamination? It's a perfect opportunity to enforce a cashless society as a replacement ... 'to avoid it happening again' as one excuse???
