A member of one of the world's richest families is under investigation over plans for his farm on Christchurch's Banks Peninsula, New Zealand. David de Rothschild, part of the Rothschild banking family, bought the 442ha Hickory Bay farm for a reported $2.69 million in 2002.Mr Rothschild told the Overseas Investment Commission he planned to use the land for polo pony breeding, training stables, an organic vineyard, a herb-growing site and a flash naturopathic retreat .Mr Rothschild told the paper the farm had already achieved "many great things". After David de Rothschild graduated from London's College of Naturopathic Medicine in 2003, he shipped out to New Zealand's South Island, where he bought an 1,100-acre farm he used to develop self-sufficient organic-farming techniques (for self sufficient organic farming techniques might we not read 'Genetically modified food to be introduced into New Zealand & Australasia?)

Doubtless the produce from his farm will make its way into the food chain here in New Zealand unchallenged and unquestioned … with wonderful labels & fantastic advertising claims to its health benefits when in reality the food will have been developed to chemically lobotomise and dumb down the nations of the Southern Hemisphere … no doubt in preparation for a deception to be mustered to steal the Taranaki Oil?
