update: 9.15pm ... Telstra service was excellent. My gripe is not with them but the unscupulous hacker who broke into our network and changed the password on our modem ... then stole our usage!!

Gripe Of The Day
... yes, Gripe of the Day makes it return to A Light In The Darkness. Last time round it was 3G mobile tortoise ... this time round its BIG POND! We're running at dial up speed ... on a 200GB broadband account with a current usage of less than 31GB... so why are we being run at such a slow speed??? There's no usage warning ... nothing ... just a trickle of usage ...! We'll be contacting Telstra expecting some kind of explanation and some kind of reimbursement for this faulty good!
