(TEPCO) says smoke has risen from the Kashiwazaki-Kariwa nuclear plant in the coastal Niigata Prefecture.TEPCO reported on Saturday that smoke rose briefly from a control panel at the Kashiwazaki-Kariwa nuclear power plant during the checking of water purification equipment. It added that the cause of the incident was not clear, but no one was injured.'
