Associated with waterways and edges of expanses of water, the Heron has a mystical connection with the Underworld. The place where all hidden motives and emotions reside, so they say. By being as observant as the still and patient Heron, it is possible to observe your surroundings and at least glean the changes in that environment as they occur. You might not be able to change your surroundings, to do that it will be necessary to understand the emotions and motives of those around you, to implement that change, or changes.
