More SigilArt

Strands Of Logic
Original Sigil Art by Matthew James

The very process of creating the sigil patterns I find to be a contemplative process within itself. To many I am sure they are seen as being irrelevant and confusing ... 'how can a series of dots and lines prove anything or reveal anything valid?' I can hear it now ... but I am still undaunted. The crystal castings and sigil patterns are part of my inimitable way of gathering information from the super subconscious. It is just one of the many ways in fact.

Glyphs and sigils have been used for centuries, indeed since time immemorial, by magicians and mystics to connect with their higher selves and obtain occult knowledge. This is my intention with the sigil patterns, believe me. From the resultant pattern which are the product of many cognitive processes, I gain flashes of inspiration and clairsentient (and sometimes clairvoyant) impressions relating to the subject focus which the sigil was created for in the first place.

Sigil Magick is a powerful form of magick. I can say this from experience. Sigils are, as has been described previously, the means by which the subconscious is charged with mundane intentions; and also the means by which the higher levels of awareness communicates with the lower mind. Higher mind communications are by symbolism. Simplistic patterns of symbols or sounds ...

Indeed the sigil patterns created by the crystals in the castings are often recogniseable symbols are universal archetypes in a binding pattern with other archetypal patterns. The 'trick' is to recognise these patterns and decipher their appearance.

The pattern above has a recogniseable 'sequence' to the shape. A sequence of patterning which gives rise to the 'hypothesis' of what the research may possibly have been connected to ... and perhaps why the mystery had to take place ... and is still taking place now. The lines and patterns appear to stretch from infinity and seem also to link to a new lineage .... it is certainly food for thought.
