 In a desperate attempt to try and restore his lost credibility in the leadership race, Rishi Sunak tells red-pillers what they already knew and proves that we were right all along.

When Britain was being locked down, the country was assured that all risks had been properly and robustly considered. Yes, schools would close and education would suffer. Normal healthcare would take a hit and people would die as a result. But the government repeatedly said the experts had looked at all this.

Only a handful of key players at the very top made the decisions: among them Rishi Sunak, the chancellor. He has now decided to go public on what happened.

Lockdown – closing schools and much of the economy while sending the police after people who sat on park benches – was the most draconian policy introduced in peacetime. No. 10 wanted to present it as ‘following the science’ rather than a political decision, and this had implications for the wiring of government decision-making. It meant elevating Sage, a sprawling group of scientific advisers, into a committee that had the power to decide whether the country would lock down or not. There was no socioeconomic equivalent to Sage; no forum where other questions would be asked.

So, whoever wrote the minutes for the Sage meetings – condensing its discussions into guidance for government – would set the policy of the nation. No one, not even cabinet members, would know how these decisions were reached.

However, as Joel Smalley points out, countless people have written and are still writing to various and all Members of Parliament (“MPs”) keeping them informed and challenging the Government’s decisions.  There is not one MP that can plead ignorance, “we’ve got all the receipts.”

Independent SAGE Muppet Compares Covid-19 To Child Abuse

 Stephen Reicher is an insufferable prick. Indulge me here, please. I’ve had to listen to him and his goon mates lying through their bastard teeth for the better part of two years now.

Reicher himself is never off the telly. Throughout 2020 and 2021 he pushed hard for a Chinese style zero covid strategy. He complained often, that people weren’t obeying the (arbitrary and senseless) covid rules. He moaned that folks weren’t scared enough.

He’s a crank. He’s also a member of Independent SAGE. Its boffins wanted a full UK lockdown last Christmas to protect us all from Omicron. Reicher lectures in psychology at St. Andrews university.

He Tweeted earlier, comparing Covid to child abuse. According to The Mail Online:

Professor Stephen Reicher, a member of an influential SAGE sub-group, compared society’s former indifference to parents beating their children to the supposed lack of concern about the virus’s long-term harms.

The psychologist, from the University of St Andrews, tweeted: ‘Years ago, we used to hear “my parents beat me and it didn’t do me any harm”.

‘We don’t hear that any more.

‘Nowadays many say “I’ve had Covid and it didn’t do me any harm”. As the evidence mounts, they might not be saying that in the future.’

His comments came in response to a major Cambridge University study that found being hospitalised with Covid can drastically age the brain.

Severely ill patients can suffer problems with their thinking and memory that is only comparable to ageing 20 years, the research claimed.
Reicher sits on the SAGE subcommittee SPI-B, which provides Covid-related behavioural science advice to No10.

It previously warned against ditching self-isolation, masks and mass-testing, warning it could create ‘anxiety’ and disproportionately affect poor people.

Professor Reicher is also a member of Independent SAGE, a pressure group that only recently stopped calling for a Chinese Communist Party-style ‘Zero Covid’ policy.

Indy SAGE called for a full nation-wide lockdown over Christmas in response to Omicron but quietly softened its stance when that wave proved to be mild.
In response to his (Reicher’s) tweet, Dr Sunil Bhopal, a paediatrician from Newcastle University, noted that being hospitalised with Covid at the start of the pandemic was ‘very bad for you’.

But he said extrapolating the figures in ‘2022, post-vaccine’ was a reason why Independent SAGE ‘can’t be trusted’.

Dr Mike Casey, a GP in east London, accused the group of lobbying to make sure ‘my kid’s school was kept closed’.

Andy Doyle, a search and rescue helicopter pilot, tweeted: ‘I know people who are literally too scared to leave the house. So sad.

‘For scientists and psychologists to twist and misrepresent data is unforgivable.’

It’s beyond unforgiveable. I would argue that it is criminal. In a just world, charlatans and creeps like Reicher would be hiding out in Mexico.

Remember all of those scary TV ads showing people gasping for breath in hospitals, captioned with phrases like, “Tell her you’re following the rules?” Remember all that “Don’t kill Granny” garbage?

Sickos like Reicher dreamt it up.

You’d think he’d be laying low this week in light of the revelations contained in the Pfizer vaccine trial data, wouldn’t you?

Covid modelers are fantasizing about wild “scenarios” in which thousands are dying daily from Omicron, even though it’s just another mild cold

[Natural News]: he Spectator editor Fraser Nelson recently had an exchange with Graham Medley, chair of SPI-M, a committee of Sage Modeling, who came up with a pretty grim outlook for the “Omicron” (Moronic) variant of the Wuhan coronavirus (Covid-19). It turns out that Sage only churns out worst-case scenarios, Moronic included, that sidestep any possibility of a positive outcome because this is what politicians expect in order to impose more fascism.

The latest Sage papers, Nelson explains, envisage anything from 200 to 6,000 deaths per day from Moronic depending on the level of restrictions imposed. There is no scenario from Sage in which Moronic is no worse than the common cold, and Nelson wants to know why it is only doom and gloom for this latest strain of the Fauci Flu.

It turns out that most everyone involved in pushing the plandemic is just assuming, based on nothing, that Moronic will cause people to start dropping dead in the streets unless there are more lockdowns and mask mandates. Actual evidence, contrarily, shows that Moronic is basically just the seasonal sniffles.

“The latest Sage paper-drop – the 6,000-deaths-a-day one – refers to ‘scenarios,’ not predictions,” Nelson writes. “Professor Medley emphasizes the distinction: saying something could happen is not saying that there’s a realistic chance of it happening. But then why do Sage modellers publish some scenarios and not others?”

To try to get to the bottom of this, Nelson engaged Medley on Twitter. [DAVID ICKE]: A surge in Covid-19 cases driven by the Omicron variant has wreaked havoc on the weekend’s sporting fixtures.

In football, six Premier League games from this weekend’s 10-match fixture list have been called off with 10 in total postponed over the past week.

Nineteen fixtures due to be played across all three divisions of the English Football League on Saturday have been postponed.

Three games in the Women’s Super League on Sunday have also been called off.

In rugby union, 47 players from nine different Premiership clubs tested positive for Covid-19, up from just two the previous week.

France’s new travel rules have caused the postponement of seven European rugby matches due to be played between French and British teams this weekend.

In tennis, the Battle of the Brits – an exhibition organised by Jamie Murray and featuring Andy Murray set to take place in Aberdeen on 21 and 22 December – has been postponed.

 [David Icke]: No10’s scientists have called for the introduction of vaccine passports and work-from-home guidance to counter the spread of the super-mutant Omicron Covid variant, advice published today shows.

Documents released by the Scientific Advisory Group for Emergencies (SAGE) and subgroup Nervtag warned the highly evolved strain could cause a surge in cases ‘similar or even larger’ than previous waves.

The expert panel admitted that the jury is still out on whether the variant will cause more or less severe illness, with conflicting reports coming out of the epicentre in South Africa, where doctors insist most cases are mild but hospital admissions seem to be rising.

In the minutes from SAGE’s 97th meeting on Covid on Monday, the group said the emergence of Omicron meant vaccine passports and reducing social contacts through working from home were ‘highly relevant’.

The meeting, chaired by England’s Chief Medical Officer Professor Chris Whitty and Chief Science Officer Sir Patrick Vallance, concluded that the strain’s infectiousness was undisputed but evidence of its effect on vaccines is still murky.

In a separate meeting of SAGE’s modelling subgroup Spi-M, scientists also warned that coronavirus would likely put pressure on the NHS for a further five years at least before becoming endemic — weakened to the point of a common cold thanks to jabs and natural immunity.

They said continued monitoring and ‘active’ measures would be required until 2026, although they did not stipulate what these may involve.

Government Scientific Adviser says he is “fed up with the attitude” of SAGE; as study finds those who claim to be following the science are dismissing evidence that counters their beliefs

Speaking in a personal capacity, Professor Thomas House, who sits on the Government’s SPI-M modelling team, said scientific rows over pandemic policies have become “the most toxic they have ever been” and called for “genuine compromise” between those with opposing views.

Professor House said: “I am fed up with the attitude of some scientists who polarise this debate and do not allow for discourse.”

His comments come as a new study suggests those who claim to be “following the science” may simply be discounting evidence that runs counter to their beliefs.

The paper found most of the research into the management of Covid has taken one of two approaches ‑ mathematical modelling or analysis of real-world evidence.

To this day, Sage do not answer to the public – they don’t even answer to the government. They ‘advise’ the government on all things Covid, and the government is then led by the ‘data’ to implement the most draconian restrictions on freedom in our nation’s history. COVID Coercion: Boris Johnson's Psychological Attack on the UK Public

[UK Column]: During the 2009/10 ‘swine flu’ pandemic, SAGE received advice from a subgroup called the Scientific Pandemic Influenza group on Behaviour and Communications (SPI-B&C).

That group was reconvened on 13 February this year. This time, its remit was limited to behaviour and it was renamed the Scientific Pandemic Influenza group on Behaviour, or SPI-B.

SPI-B takes no part in discussion about which interventions are effective in dealing with the Covid-19 ‘pandemic’, or their timing. The group is tasked with providing advice on how to ‘help’ people to adhere to the interventions which government demands.

By the beginning of March, there had been three meetings of SPI-B to discuss specific topics requested by SAGE: the risk of public disorder; the use of behavioural and social interventions; and how to give guidance to people who are asked to self-isolate.

“What are the options for increasing adherence to the social distancing measures?”, it asks.

It considers the two social distancing measure seen to be most important at that time: general social distancing by everyone, and shielding of vulnerable people for at least 12 weeks.

There are nine “broad ways” of achieving behaviour change, they write: Education, Persuasion, Incentivisation, Coercion, Enablement, Training, Restriction, Environmental restructuring, and Modelling.

The advice given by SPI-B is immediately aggressive. “A substantial number of people still do not feel sufficiently personally threatened,” they write. “The perceived level of personal threat needs to be increased among those who are complacent, using hard-hitting emotional messaging.”

In other words, SPI-B recommended to SAGE that levels of fear needed to be increased in order to bring levels of compliance with so-called ‘lockdown’ up to desirable levels.

“To be effective,” they continue, “this must also empower people by making clear the actions they can take to reduce the threat.”

Here, SPI-B is making it clear that it can’t be left to individuals to decide which actions are appropriate; they have to be told.

Another option for managing behaviour which SPI-B recommends is the harnessing of “social disapproval”.

“Social disapproval from one’s community,” they write, “can play an important role in preventing anti-social behaviour or discouraging failure to enact pro-social behaviour. However, this needs to be carefully managed to avoid victimisation, scapegoating and misdirected criticism. It needs to be accompanied by clear messaging and promotion of strong collective identity.
