Declassified Documents Detail CIA’s MKUltra Mind-Control Experiments; Lawmakers Demand Return of Files

 More than 1,200 pages of declassified records released in 2025 described methods including induced sleep, electroshock treatments and “psychic driving” used in the CIA’s MKUltra program, according to a report by Stacy Liberatore of the Daily Mail. The covert program ran from 1953 to 1964 and involved 144 projects aimed at developing drugs and interrogation techniques, the documents stated.

New allegations surfaced Wednesday that the CIA seized 40 boxes of MKUltra and JFK files that were being processed for declassification, according to testimony from CIA officer James Erdman before the Senate Committee on Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs. Declassified MKULTRA Files Reveal CIA Mind Control Experiments

 For two decades, the CIA secretly conducted experiments on mind control and psychological manipulation.

Launched in 1953, the highly controversial program continued until 1973 and involved the use of mind-altering substances, extreme procedures, and invasive techniques to control and manipulate individuals—often without their knowledge or consent.

When the program’s details were revealed by The New York Times in the 1970s, the CIA faced widespread condemnation for abusing its power and violating basic human rights.

Now, 50 years later, the National Security Archive has released an extensive collection of documents and files related to MKULTRA and several other similar CIA programs.

Was Betty and Barney Hill Abduction an MK-Ultra Test?

 The Betty and Barney Hill Incident is one of the most famous cases of alleged alien abduction in history.

Masters of Deceit: The Government’s Propaganda of Fear, Mind Control & Brain Warfare

 The U.S. government has become a master of deceit.

It’s all documented, too.

This is a government that lies, cheats, steals, spies, kills, maims, enslaves, breaks the laws, overreaches its authority, and abuses its power at almost every turn; treats its citizens like faceless statistics and economic units to be bought, sold, bartered, traded, and tracked; and wages wars for profit, jails its own people for profit, and has no qualms about spreading its reign of terror abroad.

Worse, this is a government that has become almost indistinguishable from the evil it claims to be fighting, whether that evil takes the form of terrorism, torture, drug trafficking, sex trafficking, murder, violence, theft, pornography, scientific experimentations or some other diabolical means of inflicting pain, suffering and servitude on humanity.

With every passing day, it becomes painfully clear that this is not a government that can be trusted with your life, your loved ones, your livelihood or your freedoms.

Just recently, for example, the Pentagon was compelled to order a sweeping review of clandestine U.S. psychological warfare operations (psy ops) conducted through social media platforms. The investigation comes in response to reports suggesting that the U.S. military has been creating bogus personas with AI-generated profile pictures and fictitious media sites on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram in order to manipulate social media users.

Psychological warfare, as the U.S. Army’s 4th Psychological Operations Group explained in a recruiting video released earlier this year, enables the government to pull the strings, turn everything they touch into a weapon, be everywhere, deceive, persuade, change, influence, and inspire.

Of the many weapons in the government’s vast arsenal, psychological warfare (or psy ops) can take many forms: mind control experiments, behavioral nudging, propaganda.

In the 1950s, MK-ULTRA, the mind control program developed under CIA director Allen Dulles as part of his brain warfare Cold War campaigns, subjected hundreds of unsuspecting American civilians and military personnel to doses of LSD, some having the hallucinogenic drug slipped into their drinks at the beach, in city bars, at restaurants. For Operation Midnight Climax, the CIA hired prostitutes to lure men into a bugged room, where they would be dosed with LSD and observed having sex

As Brianna Nofil explains, “MK-Ultra’s ‘mind control’ experiments generally centered around behavior modification via electro-shock therapy, hypnosis, polygraphs, radiation, and a variety of drugs, toxins, and chemicals.”

The CIA spent nearly $20 million on its MKULTRA program, reportedly as a means of programming people to carry out assassinations and, to a lesser degree, inducing anxieties and erasing memories, before it was supposedly shut down.

The Pills Make it Possible

 In the ‘truther’ world, or whatever you want to call it, we talk a lot about mind control, social engineering, the manipulation of the public by corporations, and the larger agendas coming from think tanks and supranational organizations, like our fantastic reset friends at the WEF.

We also talk about the cognitive dissonance required to maintain a semblance of faith in governments and media organizations which continually lie, deceive, mislead, coerce and steal from the general public, and what it takes to create such an astronomical amount of self-delusion amongst so many millions of people who love to extoll the magnificence of freedom.

Recently I was reviewing Aldous Huxley’s dystopian classic, Brave New World, and I was reminded of just how important psychotropic slavery is to an agenda big enough to control the entire population of the world. Even if said population were to mysteriously dwindle to, oh, say 500 million people.

What Are The Effects Of Masking Facial Expressions?

[Waking Times]: Masks have removed a crucial way in which people use visual cues to communicate and understand each other. Smiles, cheek twitches and lip movements are all lost under a mask. These visual perceptions of expression are part of how people recognize and understand communication.

In a paper published in Current Opinions in Psychology, one professor from The Ohio State University hypothesized that to interpret emotion, the visual system, including the eyes and brain, attempts to identify muscle activation in the face.5

Based on computational, behavioral and imaging evidence, he believes humans are able to effortlessly infer an emotional state by reading facial expressions. This is different from the categorical model that proposes there are six distinct and universal emotions that are communicated across cultures. These are happiness, anger, disgust, sadness, surprise and fear.6

The second theory is related to a dimensional model that suggests there are varying dimensions across emotions that are not distinct. Researchers have found evidence that supports the use of more than one way to categorize expression. While this may be highly interesting to psychological researchers, what does it mean in terms of our ability to communicate, when we can’t see most facial expressions?

Nothing safe from Project MKUltra: CIA made six remote control dogs using brain surgery

S.O.T.T: Newly released files from "behavior modification," or mind control, projects conducted as part of the infamous Project MK Ultra reveal the CIA experimented in more than controlling humans with psychotropic drugs, electrical shocks and radio waves - they also created field operational, remote-controlled dogs.

The documents were provided under the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) by John Greenewald, founder of The Black Vault, a site specializing in declassified government records. In one declassified letter (released as file C00021825) a redacted individual writes to a doctor (whose name has also been redacted) with advice about launching a laboratory for experiments in animal mind control. The writer of the letter is already an expert in the field, whose earlier work had culminated with the creation of six remote control dogs, which could be made to run, turn and stop.
