Here Comes the Politics of Kindness
Just over two years on from stepping down as Prime Minister of New Zealand, Jacinda Ardern is awaiting the imminent release of her memoir titled Jacinda Ardern, A Different Kind of Power. The launch will be supported by a nine-night US and UK book tour. The marketing around both employs the ‘kind and empathic’ messaging now firmly cemented as her international brand. Eventbrite, for example, asks us to imagine “what if kindness came first?” Today, if you ask Meta AI or ChatGPT “what one word best describes Jacinda Ardern’s leadership style” they will both respond with “empathetic”.
These words do not, however, encapsulate her brand in New Zealand – despite still being pushed by the country’s media, academics and those inside the Wellington bubble. No, ordinary Kiwis have a different take on the former prime minister.
At the time of her resignation in January 2023, Ardern’s leadership was viewed as toxic. Her party was in free fall in the polls, having plunged from 60% in October 2020 to just 27% by late 2022. Even the publication Stuff, an unabashed cheerleader of the Ardern government, admitted earlier this month that job losses, skyrocketing inflation and interest rates, increases in the cost of living, a host of unpopular policies, her leadership style and Covid mandates that “fractured social cohesion” had all driven a collapse in Ardern’s popularity.
Interestingly, this was not the first time that Ardern had struggled in the polls. In late 2019, just two years after becoming prime minister, Ardern’s party was polling 7 per cent lower than their main rival, the National party. Enter Covid: Ardern’s saving grace. By mid-2020, Labour was soaring in the polls and went on to win the October 2020 general election – an electoral phenomenon replicated worldwide as people, subjected to intense Covid fearmongering, rewarded political incumbents....<<<Read More>>>...

Starmer will follow in the footsteps of Ardern’s “how to ruin a country”
Becket was born in Scotland. After leaving the British Army he spent over 40 years in construction, travelling the world. After a lifetime working in jungles and deserts, he decided to retire to the more temperate climate of New Zealand. “Although Ardern made me wonder if I had done the right thing,” he said.
His article highlights issues such as energy bans leading to problems with fuel quality and supply, overpayment of certain public sector workers, soft approach to crime, negative impact on education, diversity and inclusion policies, inflated house prices, tensions around indigenous rights, media manipulation and the potential implications for the UK.
“Oil, gas and coal bans led to the closing down of the Marsden Oil Refinery, the only one in New Zealand. This resulted in the importation of refined fuels, at greater cost and with a drop in the quality of that fuel,” Becket wrote highlighting the problems that ensued because of this policy.
He also highlighted the Ardern government’s “soft on crime” policy. “Criminal activity spiralled out of control. The courts were encouraged not to incarcerate dangerous and violent criminals and allowances were made for a criminal’s background, particularly if they were Maori,” he wrote.
As for education, Becket wrote that “all sectors of education suffered under the Ardern regime, with changes to the curriculum reflecting her ideology rather than the traditional teaching.”
Another disastrous area of Ardern’s government was diversity and inclusion. “There was a push to advance people into senior positions based on ethnicity and sex rather than on ability and merit,” he said.
This is a diversity, equity and inclusion (“DEI”). It is a “tick-box diversity” and “diversity by the numbers” policy. We have previously warned about this nefarious agenda HERE.
“[New Zealand is] now paying the price of incompetently run governmental organisations where there has been huge expenditure and very little to show for it. There has also been a massive increase in the numbers of (diverse) civil servants with the same outcomes,” Becket said.
Adding, “[the Government] caused racial tensions by pushing indigenous rights above everyone else’s.”
As for promises of building affordable houses. Becket said that Ardern promised to build 100,000 houses in ten years but the actual figure was 2,300. Additionally, “they bought houses off the open market at inflated prices and pushed house prices up beyond the reach of most people.”
“The parallels between Starmer and Ardern (a former Blair assistant) are staggeringly similar, although I have mentioned some things that are yet to happen in the UK, but surely will,” he concluded....<<<Read More>>>...

New Zealand media rolls out the narrative that Jacinda Ardern is a courageous victim of trolling
In a Substack article, Paul Collits discussed how the pro-Ardern media are, predictably, dealing with her retirement claiming she will need ongoing security because of trolling by right-wing nut jobs. She will need permanent security protection! If only all the Kiwis she screwed over had had some security protection against her.
"Jacinda Ardern is likely to require an unprecedented level of security for a former New Zealand prime minister given the extent of the abuse and threats she faced while in office.
The vitriol is, quite frankly, off the charts,” said Paul Buchanan, a former intelligence and defence policy analyst who was a consultant to US security agencies. “The threats to her will not go away simply because she steps down. Some of these people are capable of taking violent action against her.”
Ardern was found to have faced between 50 and 90 times more online vitriol than any of the others. She was mentioned in more than 18,000 posts, with 5438 classified as strongly negative, angry, sexually explicit or toxic. The research also found the abusive messages increased in the second half of last year."
Gosh. Off the charts. Toxic. This all smells like carefully constructed narrative building to me. Just like the narrative created earlier by those who depicted Ardern as “the empathetic leader”. Because she donned a scarf and comforted Christchurch Muslims after their awful shootings. Some might well have regarded her Christchurch play as a carefully crafted pitch. Narrative construction.
Within moments of her tearful resignation in Napier the other week, my former fellow Napierians organised a pointed demo against her. God bless them.
The Kiwis are pretty worked up over
Ms Ardern, with good reason. What she did to her fellow countrymen
doesn’t bear close examination. And not just in relation to Covid.
Just like one of her mentors and fellow revolutionary, Tony Blair, she
has been setting out to create a legacy that no future New Zealand
government can overturn. The aggressive and radical Maori (apartheid)
play is just one example. This will change New Zealand forever. Then
there is her sell-out to the Chinese. The Three Waters calamity. The
crushing of education. The green push. The abortion and euthanasia
push. Her support for the World Health Organisation’s diabolical new
pandemic treaty. Changing New Zealand’s name. The out-of-control
government spending. Why on earth would there be anger in the Shaky
Isles, I wonder?...<<<Read More>>>...

Ardern’s Propaganda reaches the Level of Insanity; People who question vaccine safety are linked to Nazis, ISIS, Terrorism, Serial Killers, Klu Klux Klan and “Darkness”
Web of Chaos is deeply anti-intellectual, anti-religious, against medical choice, and politically biased. Is this just a lone-wolf director giving us his opinion? No. It is funded propaganda. As such, it is part of a wide-ranging ongoing government campaign to control the New Zealand (“NZ”) public narrative.
[According to an Official Information request, the documentary’s production name and the overseas marketed name is ‘Manufacturing Chaos’ but it is being promoted in NZ with the title ‘Web of Chaos’].
Watching Web of Chaos many of you, hopefully, would have been concerned. However, some might have felt entertained or imagined themselves better informed. Unfortunately, most people would have been left believing that the unvaccinated were in the process of arming themselves for a violent revolution. None of this is true. The documentary used violent imagery to suggest associations that don’t exist and thereby sought to manipulate public opinion and sell Ardern’s internet censorship agenda to the public.
This was journalism turned upside down by government money – a hallmark of repressive regimes. The programme openly sought to redesign key elements of the historic cultural and intellectual fabric of our nation. Let’s deconstruct what was said and try to understand the motivations...<<<Read More>>>...
