Soldier's claim SAS hit squad 'did kill Princess Diana' is 'utterly convincing'

PRINCESS Diana and Dodi Fayed were murdered when a plot to “end their relationship violently” went too far, resulting in the fatal crash in Paris, a top lawyer claimed last night.

Michael Mansfield QC, one of the nation’s most eminent legal brains, believes the deaths in the Alma Tunnel in 1997 were the result of a carefully orchestrated plan by unnamed parties to end the relationship. Whether the intent had been to kill or seriously injure was immaterial, he said, as the perpetrators should still be prosecuted for murder.

He said: “I never thought it was an accident and the jury in the inquest came back with a verdict of ‘unlawful killing’. “From a personal point of view I think there was a plan, and the plan was to disrupt and terminate the relationship between Diana and Dodi and that was going to be achieved – because things were escalating very fast in August of that year – by some kind of incident which would be violent.” During that summer, Diana and Dodi had been enjoying a leisurely sunshine break on the Fayed family yacht together. They are also said to have examined engagement rings. But Mr Mansfield believes the plot to split them up had gone further than was planned.

“In other words, as she (Diana) herself predicted that she might suffer serious injury in a car crash. I don’t think those who planned such events necessarily wanted the people dead. But that does not mean that it is not murder. Because if I have a plan which results in really serious harm, such as from a car crash, although I might not want you dead but you end up dead, you are liable to be prosecuted and convicted for murder. Because there are two types of intent for murder, one is the intention to kill and the other is the intention to do really serious harm. “I don’t personally believe they wanted them dead but they wanted to end the relationship by a serious accident and in that case they still can be prosecuted for murder as there was an intent of at least really serious harm.”

SENIOR French officials who investigated Princess Diana’s death were blamed for a cover-up yesterday in a dramatic court ruling which condemned them for failing to check whether vital evidence was forged.

The Paris court ruled the French state was liable for “unnecessary delays” in investigating a mix-up over controversial blood tests.

Those tests were used to support hotly-contested claims that Henri Paul, the hotel security officer who drove Diana and her lover Dodi Fayed to their deaths in a Paris car crash, was drunk. In a sternly-worded ruling, which comes 12 years and two months after the crash, the civil Court of Grand Instance said there were “dysfunctional” aspects to the work of the French investigators who led the crash inquiry.

They concluded that a mix-up over Mr Paul’s post mortem examination, and especially his blood tests, “had the effect of delaying without legitimate motive the investigation for almost two years” after the French authorities refused to investigate a complaint lodged in 2002 that the tests were forged.

The court fined the French Republic a notional £5,000 to be paid in compensation to Dodi’s father, the Harrods tycoon Mohamed Al Fayed, who had taken the legal action in an attempt to prove that the blood tests were switched to make it appear that Mr Paul was drunk.

Mr Al Fayed insisted that the ruling, which is expected to pave the way for further legal action against those he has accused of withholding key evidence, showed that the French secret service had deliberately staged the delays to cover-up the forgery.

The Egyptian billionaire told the Daily Express yesterday: “I have always maintained that the secret services were responsible for the deaths of Diana and my son Dodi. I am delighted with this decision. It is a major step towards uncovering the truth about what really happened that night. I am delighted that the French court has recognised that I have been denied justice.” (Daily Express)

In other words, she seems to fulfill the almost inherent need in human beings to worship a female goddess, giver of life and filled with compassion. The media has been a key actor in the creation of this icon by documenting every detail of her fairytale wedding, her troubled marriage, her humanitarian activities and, finally, her untimely death. Was Diana picked and groomed to become a sort of a “modern day Goddess” to ultimately be sacrificed, in accordance with ancient pagan practices? This might sound preposterous to the average National Inquirer reader, but not to the connoisseur of the occult practices of the world elite. Furthermore, numerous clues and symbols have been placed by this group to subtly commemorate the occult nature of Lady Diane’s death.

We will not go into details concerning her assassination; there are tons of sites and books discussing it. We will rather focus on the symbols that have surrounded the events of her death and memorial, which are the signature of the occult elite. Her vehicle was supposedly chased by paparazzi who caused the world-class chauffeur to lose control due to his inebriated state after consuming alcohol. We can argue for days about the theories concerning these events, but this is not the purpose of this article. The truth lies in the symbols placed on purpose for the initiates to recognize. One of them is the actual site where Diana lost her life, the Pont D’Alma Tunnel.

The city of Paris was built by the Merovingians, a medieval dynasty which ruled France for numerous generations. Before converting to Christianity, the Merovingian religion was a mysterious brand of paganism.

The Pont D’Alma Tunnel was a sacred site dedicated to the Moon Goddess Diana, where they used to practice ritual sacrifices. During those ceremonies, it was of an utmost importance that the sacrificed victim died inside the underground temple. The assassination of Diana was a reenactment of this ancient pagan tradition. Diana inquest: MI6 agent admits 'I plotted to assassinate Balkan warlord'

A senior MI6 agent plotted to assassinate a feared Serbian warlord using British spies or the SAS, the Diana inquest heard yesterday. (Daily Mail Wednesday 27th February 2008)

The officer - identified only as A - thought that if the extreme nationalist seized power in the former Yugoslavia during the early 1990s he would launch a campaign of genocide as bad as Hitler's.

He proposed a hit on the warlord - who was not named in court but is thought to be the notorious leader Arkan - to the head of the Secret Intelligence Service in the Balkans at the time and was told to submit the plan in writing.

It is thought to be the first time an active MI6 agent has taken the stand in a court hearing.

To protect his identity the court was cleared of everyone except the jury, lawyers and clerks, with his testimony relayed by audiolink to an annexe at the Royal Courts of Justice in London.

The agent told the inquest: "I was worried about the possibility of this man taking power in Serbia and I thought we ought to think about having a contingency plan to assassinate this guy. My vague options were to use our special agents or our special forces."

Serbian dissidents opposed to the warlord were also a possibility, he said.

The agent said he felt MI6 rules which forbade assassinations needed to be reviewed to deal with the new threat. He said when he suggested the proposal to the commanding officer he appeared to be a mixture of "puzzled", "non-committal" and "curious".

Assassin may have murdered Diana in plan mirroring Milosevic plot, admits former spy

Princess Diana could have been murdered by security services in a plot that mirrored plans to kill Slobodan Milosevic, a former MI6 spy told the inquest into her death yesterday. (Daily Mail Thursday 14th February 2008)

Richard Tomlinson said the way Diana died bore an "eerie similarity" to assassination plans he was shown in 1992. He said documents shown to him by an MI6 officer suggested three ways that the Serbian President could be murdered.

One way was to kill him "in a staged car crash, possibly during one of his visits to the ICFY (International Conference on the former Yugoslavia) in Geneva".

It "even provided a suggestion about how this could be done, such as disorientating Milosevic's chauffeur using a blinding strobe light as the cavalcade passed through one of Geneva's motorway tunnels".

Witnesses to the events of August 31, 1997, claim to have seen a "bright white flash" in the Alma tunnel in Paris moments before the crash in which Diana and Dodi Fayed died.

After watching a documentary on Diana's death, Tomlinson wrote a letter to the French authorities containing details of the plans. Yesterday, the inquest was told that an unnamed MI6 officer had confirmed he had written a document, but it was not about Milosevic.

He said it referred to a figure in the Balkans who had been involved in genocide.

Mr Tomlinson, 44, giving evidence via videolink from Marseilles, said: "I can't dispute that, because I can't specifically remember now, and it may be that it was someone else. But the fact is, they did propose to assassinate someone."

He added: "MI6 do have the capacity to stage accidents, whether by helicopter, aeroplane or car."

Diana told 'without any doubt' that she was being bugged by a five-strong surveillance team

Princess Diana's bedroom was being bugged two years after her split from Prince Charles, her inquest sensationally heard yesterday.

An electronic surveillance expert made the astonishing discovery after Diana asked him to check her Kensington Palace apartment for listening devices because she feared "dark forces" were snooping on her. Former soldier Grahame Harding located a suspected bug behind a wall in her bedroom, adjacent to a room which had been used by Charles.

Two intimate letters from Princess Diana to her lover Dodi Fayed have been released at the inquest into their deaths. In one of them, she thanks him for bringing such joy to her life. The extracts of the letters are intended to show how close the pair were.

One of the letters is dated August 6, 1997, which was the last day of a holiday she had with Dodi on a yacht owned by the Fayed family. In it, she said: "Darling Dodi, heaven knows how I can thank you. I adored it all and every minute was full of laughter and happiness. I have never felt such rigid burden being removed as what happened with you. As always, I give you heartfelt thanks for bringing such joy into this particular chick's life." (Sky News)

'Diana Driver Not Drunk Before Crash'

The driver of the car which crashed killing Princess Diana and Dodi Fayed was not drunk, an inquest has heard. Jurors have already been told that Henri Paul ordered drinks in the Ritz Hotel's bar in the hours before the smash. And blood tests showed he was over the drink-drive limit when he crashed into an underpass pillar.

But Dodi's father Mohamed al Fayed - who believed the couple were murdered - insists the Frenchman was not drunk and the samples had been switched.

And now Sebastien Trotte, a former barman at the Paris hotel, has told the hearing Mr Paul drank two 4cl measures of Ricard - aniseed spirit.

He had been waiting with bodyguards in the Bar Vendome pending the couple's departure in August 1997. an Burnett QC asked Mr Trotte: "Did he appear to you to have had too much to drink?"

Giving evidence through an interpreter by video link from Paris, he replied: "No."

Mr Burnett asked if he appeared "in any sense drunk?" to which Mr Trotte said "no".

The former barman said Mr Paul - who also died in the crash - and the bodyguards "were all a bit nervous".

He added: "Mr Paul had been called back from his home and they were waiting for the signal for Princess Diana and Mr Fayed to leave." (Sky News)

'I warned Henri not to drive Di'

HENRI Paul was warned not to drive Princess Di and Dodi Fayed on their last journey, the Diana inquest heard yesterday.

Francois Tendil, night security manager at Paris’s Ritz Hotel said he told Paul – his boss – it was not his job to ferry the couple around.

But Paul, who had hatched an ill-fated plan with Dodi and his bodyguards to evade waiting paparazzi photographers, ignored him. And he climbed behind the wheel of the Mercedes which took the 36-year-old Princess and Dodi, 42, to their deaths.

Mr Tendil said he saw no signs that Paul, the Ritz’s acting head of security, had been boozing. But blood tests after the crash showed he was over the drink-drive limit.

Mr Tendil said Paul became involved due to Dodi’s fury at the paparazzi, who had followed him and Di since they arrived in Paris earlier in the day. It prompted the couple to cancel a restaurant meal and dine at the hotel instead. And Dodi could see a growing crowd of snappers outside, the inquest at the High Court in London heard.

Mr Tendil called Paul, who had gone off duty three hours before, and he agreed to return to the hotel. (The Sun)

Mohamed al Fayed insisted the crash in which his son Dodi and Diana, Princess of Wales died was a “plot” within seconds of receiving the news.

The Harrods tycoon cryptically told Franz Klein, president of the Ritz Hotel in Paris, who broke the tragic news to him: “I know more than you know, more than you think.”

Giving evidence to the couple’s inquest yesterday, Mr Klein also claimed Dodi told him in the summer of 1997 they were going to get engaged. He claimed Dodi told him of plans for the couple to settle in Paris at Villa Windsor. The former Edward VIII and Wallace Simpson lived there in exile after his abdication.

Mr Klein, known as Frank, told the court Dodi had chosen a ring from the Repossi jewellers’ “Dis-moi oui” (“Tell me Yes”) engagement range hours before the crash of August 31, 1997. Breaking down in tears as he gave his evidence in court, Mr Klein told how he called Mr Fayed in London from his holiday home in Antibes, France, to relay the bad news around 20 minutes after the crash had happened. Witness saw 'major white flash' just before crash

A bright light was flashed at Princess Diana's car moments before it crashed into a concrete pillar, a witness claimed yesterday.

A motorbike overtook the Mercedes inside the Pont de l'Alma tunnel in Paris before a 'major white flash' like a police radar was directed at the car, Francois Levistre told the inquest into the princess's death.

The Mercedes veered across the carriageway several times before ploughing into the pillar, said Mr Levistre, who was driving in front of the princess's car through the underpass.

Other witnesses claimed to have seen a large dark car bump the Mercedes as it entered the tunnel at a 'crazy' speed moments before the crash, the inquest at the High Court in London heard.

Mohamed Al Fayed claims Diana and his son Dodi were murdered ten years ago in an Establishment plot ordered by Prince Philip. Mr Al Fayed says secret service agents blinded the Mercedes's driver, Henri Paul, with a flash gun and it was part of the conspiracy to make the crash look like an accident. Driver Met MI6 Spy On Crash Night

Renegade spy Richard Tomlinson will tell the Princess Diana inquest that he believes Ritz hotel security chief Henri Paul met an MI6 handler on the night she died.

Today we also reveal a French spy chief allegedly seen chatting to Paul on the night of the crash is refusing to give evidence at the inquest. Mr Tomlinson, a former MI6 officer once jailed for leaking Government secrets, will make sensational claims via a videolink from his bolthole in France to the inquest in London. He is refusing to return to Britain to give evidence in person because he fears he will be arrested and jailed. Cambridge-educated Mr Tomlinson, 40, will give evidence supporting the claim by Harrods tycoon Mohamed Al Fayed that there was an Establishment plot to kill Diana to stop her marrying his son, Dodi, a Muslim.

Private testimony that Mr Tomlinson gave earlier caused ructions within MI6, leading to him being closely monitored by the British security services. Mr Tomlinson told the French examining magistrate Herve Stephan that a Frenchman working in the security department at the Paris Ritz was on MI6’s books.

He added: “I cannot claim that I remember from reading this file that the name of the person was Henri Paul but I have no doubt with the benefit of hindsight that it was he.” (Sunday Express)

Witness had to swerve to avoid slow moving 'light-coloured' car seconds before the crash

A driver has told how he was forced to avoid a 'light-coloured' car driving 'extremely slowly' into the Alma tunnel just seconds before the crash which claimed Princess Diana's life.

David Laurent claimed the car, possibly a Fiat Uno, was travelling at little more than 18mph, forcing him to pull at speed into another lane.The limit in the underpass is 31mph. Seconds later he heard another car frantically hooting behind him, followed by the sound of screeching brakes and then a loud crash.

He said: "All of a sudden, at the entrance to the tunnel, I came upon a car that was driving slowly in the right-hand lane. I was taken by surprise but, even so, I had time to pull the steering wheel to the left to avoid it."

Mr Laurent was taking his fiancee and her family on a late-night sightseeing tour of Paris when they were unwittingly caught up in the tragedy. (Daily Mail)

Sky News Headline; says: 'The jury in the Diana, Princess of Wales inquest is in Paris today to retrace her final journey.

The 11 jurors, who last week began hearing evidence into the death of Diana and her lover Dodi Fayed, are set to visit the Pont de l'Alma tunnel to see the spot where the Mercedes the couple were travelling in crashed 10 years ago.

The underpass, now infamous around the world, is one of a series of sites across the French capital which the jurors will see during their two-day trip.

They are familiarising themselves with the various locations which will be discussed over the next six months. They are set to visit the Ritz Hotel, where the couple dined before setting out on the disastrous journey on August 31, 1997, as well as the hospital where Diana was taken after the crash.
