Search A Light In The Darkness

Daily OM: Walking through a Japanese garden, one truly feels the life force energy that is known as Hado. Hado isn’t just present in Japan, but it is a concept that has existed in Japan for centuries. The two Japanese characters that make up the word Hado mean “wave” and “move” - perfect words to describe the energy vibrations that permeate all life. Hado is present in all things, animate and inanimate. It resides everywhere, even in the air and in people.

The study of hado tells us that the energetic vibrations from our thoughts affect on our physical realities. Each of us has the ability to manifest a specific intention through the hado that we send out – from making our jewelry shine to changing the atmosphere of a room full of people to transforming the hado of an empty space. However, we are often unaware that our thoughts are creating vibrations in the world outside our minds. Once we know that this is the case, we can become more aware of our negative thinking and train ourselves to stay positive and think with more>>>...

Between The Sun And The Moon

"I stood on higher ground, between the sun and the moon. I felt those warming rays of first sun light penetrate my being to the right of me; I felt the emotional tentacles of moonlight touch me from the left of me. The feeling was like no other. Intoxicating. Magical. Enchanting.

So, so powerful.

I remembered then my pagan soul. My ancient part. My authentic self. I know the difference between a truth and the lie. Between the wolf and the coyote.

The trickster I acknowledge. I feel its presence in human veins. Its voice in our minds - insisting on ritual, on routine, on survival, on servitude, on being nothing more than slaves.

Then the sun's warmth penetrates, the imagination flares. We are freedom of expression, we are imagination, we are fire, we are light, we cannot be contained. And that is the truth, the light, the hope, the dream come alive ..." - Matthew James

The Contradiction

Duality:the state or quality of being two or in two parts; dichotomy

Black and white. Wrong and right. Night and day. Left and right. Joy and sorrow. The list is endless ... duality is the fact of life on this manifest plane. Comparision and contrast. The advanced software learning program which is life on the manifest plane.

It is what we are about, and what we have to survive. A realm of comparisons on a daily basis. As a man or a woman, either/or duality is our nature. It is unavoidable.

We have polar opposites within ourselves. Call it yin and yang. Masculine and feminine energies that course through our being. The male principle or power and the feminine principle or beauty. We have to balance these polarities. It is known medically as hormonal balance or hormonal imbalance. A fact of human life.

Because we are dualistic by nature, it cannot be denied. It needs to be controlled, but that is one of the many facts of life. We must be fearless when approaching our true nature.

There is only one energy, one magic. One nature. It is neither black or white. It is neither left or right. It is non-dualistic. It just is. Yet it is controlled by our inner polarities. Our intentions. Our fears. Our attitudes. This is the big lesson when dealing with magic. It is the attitude we have towards it. The attitude that dictates how we use the universal life force. Our polarities have to be in balance, which goes against the dualism within ourselves. Somehow we have to merge the dual natures. To do this we must go beyond the human and the mortal experience. Here is the contradiction.

To be non-dualistic means to exist beyond the mortal plane. The mortal plane exists only because of the contrasts. If you exist outside of the contrasts then you need not experience the dichotomy. Then why be here?

But to put ourselves in our true self state, which is a non-dualistic self, which we are supposed to do, we must defy this contradiction and exist as a non-dualistic being in a dualistic realm ...

This is the true meaning of spirit in the form of man. But how can spirit have conscious awareness in this realm? Consciousness here is prone to the rules of contrast and dualism. Therefore an entity of non-contrast awareness cannot exist in this realm. This is the crux of the contradiction - Matthew James

Trusting Your Gut

Daily Om: Gut feelings earn their name from the place in the body where they make themselves known. A pang in your gut when you may be doing the wrong thing, or a vibrant zing when your body approves, can guide you reliably at times when logic fails. Sometimes, when logic prevails, we ignore our gut and live to regret it, understanding later that a rational approach is only one way of determining what is going on in a situation and how we should react.

Our gut resides in the neighborhood of our solar plexus and the third chakra just above your belly button. When it is functioning well, we can trust its guidance and adjust our actions accordingly. Many of us have a tendency to hold in this area of our bodies. We may take shallow breaths that never reach this vital nexus that is the source of our more>>>...

Out-of-place artifacts suggestive of ancient high-tech civilizations

S.O.T.T: In Beyond Science, Epoch Times explores research and accounts related to phenomena and theories that challenge our current knowledge. We delve into ideas that stimulate the imagination and open up new possibilities. Share your thoughts with us on these sometimes controversial topics in the comments section below.

According to the conventional view of history, humans have only walked the Earth in our present form for some 200,000 years. Advanced civilizations appeared several thousand years ago, but much of the mechanical ingenuity we know in modern times began to develop only around the Industrial Revolution a couple hundred years ago.

Oopart (out-of-place artifact) is a term applied to dozens of prehistoric objects found in various places around the world that seem to show a level of technological advancement incongruous with the times in which they were made.

Many scientists attempt to explain them using natural phenomena. Others say such explanations ignore the mounting evidence that prehistoric civilizations possessed advanced technological knowledge that was lost throughout the ages only to be redeveloped in modern times.

We will look at a variety of ooparts here ranging in purported origin from millions of years ago to merely hundreds of years ago, but all said to show advancement well ahead of their more>>>...

Thought for the Day

"Trust your instincts, and make judgements on what your heart tells you. The heart will not betray you.” ― David Gemmell, Fall of Kings

Totem Animal for the Day

TODAYS' TOTEM ANIMAL is the Friarbird

These guys are a fantastic totem animal for people who work with balancing the chakras, or who fall out of balance very quickly.

Their habits are all about achieving the right balance, and being selective about what energy you allow into your body. Also fantastic for people who are making shields that let certain things in, and not others.

The Friarbird's message is "Balance, knowing how to balance your energy, being selective about how you receive and give out your energy, singing your song, possessing the ability to balance the energy of others, the unobtrusive healer, seeking and finding clarity, getting what’s yours, learning to be happy with blending into your surroundings."

Matthew James Advert

Shining through the Clouds

Daily OM: When we’re in a good mood, we shine like the sun. But if we find ourselves in the presence of a person, or people, in a grumpy mood, it can feel like a dark cloud approaching to dim our radiance and block our positive way of seeing the world. We can remind ourselves that clouds pass, while the sun and stars continue to shine above.

Then it’s easier to think of these “grumps” affectionately, knowing that they only have the power to affect our mood if we allow it. With the power of change firmly in our hands, we can choose how to respond to a grumpy person, or a grumbling group of people, with confidence and understanding.

Like a lighthouse, we can continue to shine through the darkness, offering our light to help others find their way back to their more>>>...

It stings like the crack of a whip across mortal flesh. But the wound is not of the physical body. It is a ripping scar within the etheric persona. It is a constant burn. A constant reminder. It is the harshest of lessons to learn within mortal flesh.

The pain being described is the punishment for giving total trust to another human being. Only to have that trust completely abused.

It is the torture of watching another human being acting without apparent conscience. Rubbing salt in the wound, seemingly oblivious to the wounding of a fellow being, they have caused.

The pain being described is betrayal.

Completely trusting a human being, considered as a friend. Only to get it completely wrong. The punishment for being a caring, helping and generous human being. Somehow the punishment cannot be right, when there is no crime

We all carry burdens. Unresolved emotional issues that are trapped in our subconscious that weigh us down with their constant presence. Even though we might not consciously think about them, they are still affecting us within our causal bodies. Anyone who claims not to have any burdens are kidding themselves. We are humans in an incarnation, therefore we have burdens.

We all know that action follows thought. Thus if our thoughts are blocked by misgivings and regrets, and guilt, and a long list of other negative gearings that are better known as burdens, then our physical and mental wellbeing is bound to be affected. So few of us run at full potential; So few of us can get slip into 6th gear, spending our lives bogged down by the slippery moss that clings to the boulder.

Our physical health concerns are the effects, the cause of which is the heavy negatives that clog up our etheric bodies. There is no easy answer how to release ourselves from these toxins and tortures. Emotional attachments and emotional linkages to situations occur at every pitch and turn. We can even be burdened by the thoughts and the actions of others. It is a complex situation.

There is a solution however, and it will sound like a scratched record. By being your true, authentic self, you will minimise the effects of the toxins. By finding time and space to step out of the human condition, through meditation or walking in nature, we are able to reconnect with our etheric awareness. We can safely analyse the burdens in an observant mind state - mindfulness meditations are ideal for this. In a controlled mind state, our burdens can be witnessed as a third party and their existence understood.

Burdens can then be seen to be similar to the sheddable skins of the snake. As each realisation is felt and comprehended, the trapped emotional issues can be accepted and then assimilated. It then becomes perfectly clear that the secret to reducing burdens is the process known as forgive and forget. Life is too short to bear grudges - Matthew James

Totem Animal for the Day

Today's Totem Animal is the Cockatoo

The cockatoo is a symbol of change, and light and the end of a tunnel. Communication is a gift of the cockatoo - making oneself understood, understanding the communication of others, and being heard. You should hear the loud cry of the cockie!

Joy, friendship, community, communication, and the ability to survive the harshest conditions is the medicine of the cockatoo.

Grounding Ourselves

Daily OM: We often hear people telling us to ground ourselves, but we may not be sure what that means and how we might do it. Grounding ourselves is a way of bringing ourselves literally back to earth. Some of us are more prone than others to essentially leaving our bodies and not being firmly rooted in our bodies. There’s nothing terribly wrong with this, but while we are living on the earth plane it is best to stay grounded in the body.

One of the easiest ways to ground ourselves is to bring our attention to our breath as it enters and leaves our bodies. After about 10 breaths, we will probably find that we feel much more connected to our physical selves. We might then bring our awareness to the sensations in our bodies, moving from our head down to our feet, exploring and inquiring. Just a few minutes of this can bring us home to bodies and to the earth, and this is what it means to ground more>>>...

Moon Watch 23rd September 2015

It's been an incredible day of contrasts. Having spent contemplative time at first light and also at the very last light of the day ... its not been hard to link into the light cycle of this dimension. To get a sense of the incredible joy that the first rays of the sun gives to the Earth. To then experience the sense of hope and gratitude which comes with the last touch of the sun's rays on the earth.

A cold wind, with a below zero chill factor, blew its harshness this morning, making it a time to acknowledge the dweller within. A good time to take stock and observe the experience. For this week represents a period of growth and awareness. The cold winds of change are blowing, but how many aware of the major spiritual significance this week? Not enough people ...

There are likely to be an increase in sinus related 'illnesses' this week and for the months ahead. So many of us, who are drones to the medical lies, will dash to their doctors for cures. When in truth it is anything but the sinus. The sacred pineal gland has to adjust to the increase in light signals being absorbed from now on.

A first light experience this morning and for the last few mornings, has increased my own personal awareness. My perceptions are not the same anymore, and my ability to walk beyond the veils has increased dramatically.

The amount of holy light being sent to the earth has increased incredibly. First light is the best time to experience those signals ... signals that indicate incredible change for this world - Matthew James

Totem Animal For The Day

Today's Totem Animal is the Willie Wagtail. This Australia's largest Fantail and its most favourite.

Willie Wagtail's message: The willie wagtail hops into your life to remind you to be cheerful! Much nourishment can come from taking the time to present yourself as cheerful and gregarious to others, even if you're not particularly feeling either. Willie wagtail also comforts with the knowledge that when you reach out to others with cheerfulness, others will often reach out with the same warmth and a smile.

Willie wagtail teaches us how to appeal to others. This may be physically, through how we present ourselves to others and how we maintain our appearance. It can also be through how we communicate and interact with others. It doesn't take very much to make a phrase warmer, or a request or question kinder, and willie wagtail reminds us of this.

Fork In The Road

There's been a split in the road. Two equal pathways stretch out before you. Do you know which road you've taken? There was no signpost. No indication that one road is real, and the other leads to the land of illusion.

But this is where we are right now. The choosing is being made. It is not easy to discern any difference between the two roads. Unless you know the key. Unless you've been following the clues.

The answer lies in the type of path you've been creating. Mind or heart? Do you think you see what is in life? Do you listen to your mind or do you feel with your heart? That is where the answer resides.

Its already too late to turn around. You are now on your road. Divisions have now been made. Friends you thought were friends will now leave your life. They are on the other pathway to you. People you never thought would be friends now arrive in your life. They are on the same pathway as you.

Too much judgement and criticism of others hangs in the air like a clammy mist. There will be those who will sculk in those mists and gain pleasure in that glamour. That is their choice. There will be others who will have no interest in those delusions of the mind. They watch the sun and the moon instead. They focus on what lies ahead. For there is so much work to still be done - Matthew James

The Greatness in Others

Daily OM: A person who is said to possess greatness stands apart from others in some way, usually by the size or originality of their vision and their ability to manifest that vision. And yet those who recognize that greatness, whether they display it themselves or not, also have greatness within them; otherwise, they could not see it in another. In many ways, the achievements of one person always belong to many people for we accomplish nothing alone in this world. People who display greatness rely upon others who are able to see as they do, to listen, encourage, and support. Without those people who recognize greatness and move in to support it, even the greatest ideas, works of art, and political movements would remain unborn.

We are all moved by greatness when we see it, and although the experience is to some degree subjective, we know the feeling of it. When we encounter it, it is as if something in us stirs, awakens, and comes forth to meet what was inside us all more>>>...

Misconception: Most people believe that their defense mechanisms ex- ist to serve and protect them.

Fact: Some of our defense mechanisms not only lead to self-sabotage but they can also easily be used to manipulate us.

"GOTCHA! The Subordination Of Freewill" is another knock out, straight to the point, work of art written by Eldon Taylor. It is a must addition to your library of MAGICAL books. I say magical because Gotcha! is a perfect tool for understanding your mind.

By understanding your mind, you unlock that incredible potential which is hidden in there. The potential for magic, true magic. True magic is when you realise your thoughts are what control the perceptions of the world around you. Change your thoughts and you change your world.

Eldon again provides the hows, the whys and the need to knows relating to the mind and human behaviour.

Based on years and years of his own research, GOTCHA! revcals how we've had our own minds manipulated and controlled, and basically turned against ourselves. With GOTCHA! it is possible to rediscover ourselves and take back our power!

Misconception: Most people believe conspiracy theories are the work of loons. They are convinced that if there were any truth behind them, the government would check it out publicly. Fair-minded people governed by elected fair-minded representatives with only a few bad apples, that’s the state of affairs.

Fact: Many of the so-called conspiracy theories of the past have turned out to be representations of fact. A common technique used to discredit a theory is to throw in a bit of nonsense from a shill. Government can and has quickly discredited events by sending someone out to burn the flag in front of the cameras. We are subjects—the question is, are we about to be subjugated?

Wake up people! That is the message here. Ignorance is NOT bliss. Its time to seek out the truth for ourselves. Good on you Eldon for producing this wonderful book. GOTCHA! Shoots from the hip, using his own personal research and knowledge ,,,

Totem Animal for the Day

Today's Totem Animal is the Snakebird or Australasian Darter. A member of the Anhinga genus.

Anhinga is derived from the Tupi ajíŋa (also transcribed áyinga or ayingá), which in local mythology refers to a malevolent demonic forest spirit; it is often translated as "devil bird"

It's message: "The Snakebird can show how to delve into the depths of yourself and chase your dreams, ambitions and goals whether it be physical or spiritual endeavors. He will teach ways to spread your wings of possibilities.

The Snakebird will demonstrate how to fly with utmost timing and precision and only when thoughts and strong intentions are in place. He will teach great maneuverability and swiftness with a very direct "spearheading" approach. Are you open to your emotions and to allow them to guide you? It is time to trust your feelings and go after what you want.

Trust in the Snakebird's abilities for now is the time that your thrust is very powerful."

Thought for the Day

I was given my thought for the day whilst gazing at the first light sun on my walk this morning.

I began to muse upon the simple atom. The molecules that are the building blocks of life. Then my attention turned back to the wondrous sun in the sky ...

And the voice then did say:

'What happens if the planets in your solar system are the atoms and the molecules that are the building blocks of some other form of life?

And your world is actually within one of the atoms of that structure?"

False Perceptuons

There is this scenario, where we THINK we know someone. That we listen to the mind and let it PERCEIVE its own version of a person. When this person fails to conform to our OWN VERSION of that person ... we then accuse that person of not being the person we think that they are.

Remember, the listening solely to the mind, permits us to form a false impression. Feeling and listening with the heart tells us the truth about a person.

When we are experiencing the Chameleon Effect within ourselves, growing and changing in accordance with our own perception of self, we are unlikely to see the true self in other people. How can we when we don't know our own true self? Any judgements made in this phase are likely to be more an false perception than the true light of that other mortal.

And if our perceptions are tainted by an injury incurred at an early stage in our life, we will see the misjudgement of a person as a betrayal or a rejection. Remember all that are seen around us are but reflections of our own self. Thus when someone's true self shines and it fails to match what our mind has preceived, we see the other as being at fault. We refuse to accept the error lies within ourself. - Matthew James

Totem Animal For The Day

Today's Totem Animal is the Lapwing

The Lapwing is linked to the Celic Ogham AILIM. The traditional use associated with this Ogham is fires and torches.

Lapwing's message is "Conceal your activities to protect and nurture new beginnings. The early phase of new things need to be done in secrecy so that they will not be disrupted. Perceptive and regenerative powers are on the increase at this time"

[Source:The Celtic Oracle by Nigel Pennick]

Lapwing -- Its name derives from its “wavering flight”. The lapwing’s meaning is “disguise is the secret”. The Greek proverb; “more deceitful than a lapwing” meant an “artful beggar” and this comes from the artful way in which the lapwing adapts its behavior to differing threats from differing predators combining illusion and discernment. It knows how to work a situation to its best advantage.

Just A Smile

"A smile says everything. Even when your world is not going your way, remember to smile! It encourages those around you to say positive things. Just one of those positive things can inspire you to forget your woes ... " - Matthew James

The Golden Rule

Daily OM: All over the world, there exists a simple precept that, when followed, has the power to end conflict and banish strife. It is the Golden Rule, a key concept in many philosophies and spiritualities that admonishes us to “do unto others as we would have them do unto us.” Its meaning is clear: treat others only in ways that you would want to be treated. However, the golden rule is not always easy to follow. It can be a challenge to honor others as we wish to be honored. Yet, when we do so, we bestow a gift of loving kindness on our fellow human beings. And, in honoring others, we honour ourselves.

It is as uncomplicated a tenet as one could wish for. When we live by it, harming another person becomes nearly impossible. The Golden Rule is rooted in pure empathy and does not compel us to perform any specific act. Rather, it gently guides us to never let our actions toward others be out of harmony with our own desires. The Golden Rule asks us to be aware of the effect our words and actions may have on another person and to imagine ourselves in their place. It calls on us to ask ourselves how we would feel if what we were about to do were directed toward more>>>...
