 White British students are now a minority at 27 UK universities, more than double the number a decade ago.

At least ten universities with white minority enrollment still offer race-based scholarships worth up to £23,000 a year.

Critics call these BAME scholarships racial discrimination and demand their immediate abolition.

White working-class students remain among the least likely to attend university, with under 3 percent at Oxford and Cambridge.

Critics argue students should be judged on talent, not skin color.

Migration is Now a National Security Issue, Confirms UK Terror Watchdog

 Jonathan Hall KC, the independent terrorism legislation reviewer for the UK, said migration should be treated as a national security issue. Days of disorder have followed a knife attack in Belfast by a Sudanese asylum seeker, leading to Hall’s claims that it’s “absolutely legitimate” to discuss migration in the context of national security, adding that the issue carries “huge ramifications”.

The uproar in Northern Ireland follows a brutal attack on Stephen Ogilvie, a man in his forties, in the Kinnaird Avenue area of north Belfast on Monday night. Hadi Alodid, a 30-year-old Sudanese asylum seeker, later appeared in Belfast Magistrates’ Court charged with attempted murder, possession of a knife in a public place, and making threats to kill an NHS radiographer. Net Migration Falls to 171,000 But Asylum Seekers Continue to Rise, New Official Figures Show

 Net migration to Britain fell to 171,000 last year, new official figures show, as 813,000 migrants arrived and 642,000 people left, including 246,000 British nationals. But asylum seeker numbers rose to 88,000, meaning around half of net migration is now asylum seekers. The Mail has more.

The Office for National Statistics (ONS) said the figure – those coming to live here long-term minus those emigrating – nearly halved from the previous year’s 331,000.

Net migration peaked at 944,000 in 2023.

Last year 813,000 migrants came to live here long-term, down from a peak of nearly 1.5 million in 2023, with 77% coming from outside the European Union.

Meanwhile, 642,000 people – of all nationalities – emigrated from Britain, including 246,000 British nationals.

But the ONS said fewer Brits are returning to the UK than are leaving, with a net loss of 136,000 people last year.

It included 75,000 young people aged 16 to 34.

The ONS said the gap in that age group “has grown every year since 2022”, adding: “This may suggest young Brits who move abroad for work are staying for longer periods, or that students who study overseas are then staying for work.”

Shadow Business Secretary Andrew Griffith said it was an “exodus” of young people fleeing Labour’s high-tax Britain.

“Huge numbers of Brits are leaving and not coming back,” the MP said.

“We are in an exodus of our brightest and best young people and Labour are trading them for lower-wage migrants.

“These are the young people, our future, fleeing high taxes and low growth.

“It’s 75,000 more than came back. That’s one 747 a day leaving fully loaded with our young people.”

The ONS also said the number of people who came to Britain to claim asylum during the year was 88,000, up slightly on the previous year.

The figures therefore suggest about half of net migration – 49% – was made up of asylum seekers.

However, the ONS suggested a better measure was taking asylum as a proportion of total immigration from outside the EU, which put it at 14%.

Experts at Oxford University’s Migration Observatory said net migration’s growing proportion of asylum seekers indicated the type of immigration to Britain was becoming “less favourable”....<<<Read More>>>....

Channel Migrant Smugglers Use Corner Shops to Take Payments

 A phone shop in south-east London, a wholesale business in Newcastle and a car wash in Cambridge were named as small businesses that could accept bank transfers from immigrants in France or cash from their friends already in the UK.

BBC undercover investigators were told the money would be held by the business until the migrants had successfully crossed the Channel to England.  If they did not cross, the businesses were reportedly told by the people smugglers to hand the money back.

The cash-for-crossings agreements were orchestrated by a people smuggler calling himself Ahmad, who also provided details of companies in Europe where payments could be made in cash, including a car wash in Antwerp and a restaurant in Paris.

In France, Ahmad, who spoke Farsi and said he was from Afghanistan, told an undercover BBC researcher they could pay using one of three UK businesses, including a phone shop called Afg Mobile Repair in Woolwich, south-east London.

The crossing would cost £2,700 for two people, he said. At the shop, a man behind the counter said the money would be transferred to the smugglers only after a successful crossing.

He said: “If your people do not cross, if he tells me to return your money back to you, I’ll do it. You can’t count on boats, you never know, God forbid the boat sinks, and all of them [drown].” He denied acting as a conduit for payments. He said: “We don’t move money… we have only phone shop.”

The use of British businesses for Channel-crossing payments was revealed to the BBC by people smugglers operating out of a migrant camp in Dunkirk....<<<Read More>>>....

UK Border Chief Quits After Failing to Curb Migrant Channel Crossings

The head of the UK’s border security command, Martin Hewitt, will step down at the end of March after failing to curb the surge in small boat Channel crossings, with nearly 60,000 making the journey on his watch. The Mail has more.

The Home Office confirmed Martin Hewitt would leave the post of border security commander after 18 months in the job.

Sir Keir Starmer appointed Hewitt, a former senior police officer, shortly after becoming Prime Minister – tasking him with curbing the number of small boats crossing the Channel.

Since his appointment in September 2024, crossings have continued at sky-high levels – with 58,910 people making the journey in that time.

His tenure also saw the second-highest annual total of people crossing the Channel, with 41,472 people arriving in the UK by small boat last year.

UK Has Lost Control of its Borders, Says Home Secretary

 The UK has lost control of its borders, Home Secretary Shabana Mahmood has said, as she calls for “international cooperation” in a tacit admission that Britain has surrendered its sovereignty to foreign courts and treaties. The Telegraph has more.

Shabana Mahmood will say on Wednesday that Britain’s failure to control its borders is eroding trust in politicians and the credibility of the state.

At a summit with Balkan interior ministers in London, the Home Secretary will issue one of the frankest assessments yet of the risks the Government is running if it fails to get a grip on the migration crisis.

She will say that only through international co-operation can countries secure their borders.

In 2024 alone, almost 22,000 people were smuggled along routes through the Western Balkans, while 35,500 migrants have crossed the Channel in small boats this year, up 30% on last year.

Her forthright approach comes as Labour seeks harder-edged policies restricting rights for migrants in an attempt to reverse Reform’s surge in popularity.

“The public rightly expect that their Government will be able to determine who enters their country and who must leave,” she will say.

“Today, in this country, and I know in many if not all of yours, that is not the case. And the failure to bring order to our borders is eroding trust not just in us as political leaders… but in the credibility of the state itself.”...<<<Read More>>>...

Taliban Sells £40 Fake Death Threats for Asylum Seekers to UK

Fake death threat letters produced by the Taliban are being used to dupe the Home Office in asylum applications for Afghan migrants. The Telegraph has the story.

A Telegraph investigation can reveal how corrupt officials in Afghanistan produce government letters threatening to kill asylum seekers. The letters are then used as evidence in asylum applications.

To demonstrate how easily such documents can be obtained, an undercover Telegraph reporter paid Taliban officials £40 to produce three fake letters from different regional offices on official headed paper, signed by local administrators.

The letters can be published in full, but have been redacted to protect sources.

They include warnings that the Taliban will “deliver justice upon you” — shorthand for execution — for co-operating with the “evil government of England”.

One letter says: “The mujahideen monitor all your activity on social media and will deliver justice when they see you. God will be pleased and you will be freed from this shameful life.”

The practice of purchasing fake letters raises fresh questions about the integrity of the asylum system and whether genuine refugees are being disadvantaged by forgeries.

 The number of councils vowing to take legal action to kick asylum seekers out of hotels has grown to at least 19 as mass unrest continues to spread across the UK today.

Furious protesters have gathered outside migrant hotels in towns and cities such as Newcastle, Swindon and Falkirk after the Court of Appeal yesterday overturned an injunction ordering the removal of 138 migrants from an accommodation in Essex.

Asylum Hotel Bosses Told They “Have to House Convicted Foreign Criminals” While Giving Staff “Unconscious Bias Training”

 Hotel bosses have reportedly been told they they have to acknowledge that some of the residents may be foreign nationals who have been “released on criminal bail”. 

Despite this, staff at the hotels must complete training courses on “unconscious bias” and “ethnic diversity and cultural awareness”.

It comes amid increasing pressure on the Government to close hotels across the country.  

Labour’s asylum policy was left in chaos last week after a judge ordered a controversial migrant hotel to shut.

The High Court ruling gives the Bell Hotel in Epping, Essex, just 24 days to close after it became the focus of violent protests.

The documents, seen by the Telegraph, also state that housing residents with an ongoing criminal case may lead to an increase in insurance costs for the hotel and its staff.

This includes a higher premium for any migrants who have been convicted of arson. 

The 117-page “statement of requirements” document which was obtained by a Freedom of Information request is reportedly given to contractors who seek out accommodation for asylum seekers on behalf of the Home Office.

The current trajectory of mass migration will polarise and destabilise the UK

In their newsletter, Migration Watch UK highlights that the UK may become a “majority-minority” society by the latter decades of this century, with white British people constituting only a minority of the population.

The economic burden of mass migration will fall on a diminishing cohort of young, predominantly white, professionals, leading to declining living standards and potentially destabilising the country.

UK Could See Over One Million Migrants This Year, Report Claims

 More than one million migrants could end up arriving in Britain this year, a report on Friday has claimed.

Experts reportedly expect that there could be over one million migrants landing in Britain this year, a report by The Telegraph has revealed.

The paper had formerly put the maximum net migration figure for 2023 at somewhere in the region of 675,000 thousand ahead of official statistics set to be released by the UK government in the coming weeks.

However, the publication has since revised the figures upwards, with another set of experts now predicting a net migration figure as high as 997,000, with gross migration numbers set to be higher than that still.

“If emigration has reverted to pre-pandemic and pre-Brexit patterns, we could see net migration hit the one million mark,” Centre for Policy Studies (CPS) researcher Karl Williams remarked, adding that while such a number would “be at the very top end” of their estimates, it was “by no means an implausible figure”....<<<Read More>>>....
