What If You Heard a Rumor That You Don’t Exist?

The voice in the head has been with you forever.  It’s what’s made you believe you exist separately, but have you ever stopped to examine just what it is, and where it came from?

Isn’t it really, when you “think” about it, just another sound that is happening at the moment?  Like the wind outside or the birds chirping?  Why do the words you seem to be thinking make you believe they come from a separate you?

There are scientists and thinkers now who will tell you that looking for that voice in your brain is like looking for an announcer inside a radio.

So why do you laugh derisively?   Because everyone knows we are all separate “people”.

And what exactly is a person?  Generally. someone with an “identity” who believes, and has others believe, that they exist as a separate entity.

Other than being ridiculed what happens if you question that belief?

Well, there are feelings and sensations – so what is feeling and interpreting those?

Something IS apparently AWARE of these sensations – and these thoughts – but when you get right down to it, this Awareness is all you really have to go on.

There is nothing really to suggest that this sense of awareness is from a separate entity....<<<Read More>>>...

Does Consciousness Create Our Material Reality?

Where does the “physical” world come from? Matter at its smallest observable form, atoms, pop in and out of existence all the time. The idea that physical matter is birthed from a non physical realm, such as the “quantum vacuum” or the “void”, or something else we are unaware of is not novel.  Nikola Tesla himself believed that “all perceptible matter comes from a primary substance, or tenuity beyond conception, filling all space, the akasha, or luminiferous ether, which is acted upon by the life-giving Prana or creative force, calling into existence, in never-ending cycles all things and phenomena.”...<<<Read More>>>....

Prompting the Universe with Xylitol: A New Microscope, AI Automation, and Real-Time Proof of Morphic Resonance

I believe consciousness leaves real imprints on physical matter. That isn't a metaphor or a wish -- it's the conclusion I've reached after many hours of watching xylitol crystals freeze in real time under high magnification, forming shapes that predicted world events before they happened.

But I knew the manual approach to this investigation couldn't scale. Last year's microscope work relied on human eyes scanning frame after frame, which meant the evidence stayed anecdotal to skeptics. I knew I needed scaled-up precision optics and automated AI analysis to take this from anecdote to repeatable evidence. And that's where I'm focused right now.

Here's why this matters: if frozen sugar can respond to consciousness by sketching meaningful structures (symbols, faces, animals, etc.) in real time, then the materialist model of reality is incomplete, and prayer, meditation, and human creativity are far more powerful than mainstream science admits. Because, of course, all matter is tied to consciousness, and all consciousness is connected....<<<Read More>>>...

Your Consciousness Can Enter Alternate Dimensions While You’re Dreaming, Scientist Claims (because it’s ‘part of’ Alternate Dimensions)

How many times have you woken up feeling euphoric or deeply disturbed by a dream so vivid it felt indistinguishable from reality?

The kind of dream that lingers. Perhaps you notice recurring motifs: specific places, faces, symbols, or even fantastical settings. You are quick to dismiss these as psychological quirks of the brain, and chances are, you will have forgotten about such dreams by midday.

But what if your dreams weren’t just caprices of the sleepy mind? What if they were revealing glimpses into a mirror realm in which your consciousness was wandering?

To go even further, perhaps recurring dreams suggest a connection to another reality. For David Leong, PhD, an academic specializing in metaphysics and epistemology (the study of distinguishing opinion from justified belief) this might not be just an interesting hypothesis, but the truth.

“Dreams may be windows into distinct realities governed by their laws, in which the mind, unfettered by the constraints of wakefulness, can explore and interact with new forms of existence,”...<<<Read More>>>...

Consciousness may rely on brain cells acting collectively

Psychedelics are known for inducing altered states of consciousness in humans by fundamentally changing our normal pattern of sensory perception, thought and emotion. Research into the therapeutic potential of psychedelics has increased significantly in the last decade.

While this research is important, I have always been more intrigued by the idea that psychedelics can be used as a tool to study the neural basis of human consciousness in laboratory animals.

We ultimately share the same basic neural hardware with other mammals, and possibly some basic aspects of consciousness, too. So by examining what happens in the brain when there’s a psychedelically induced change in conscious experience, we can perhaps glean insights into what consciousness is in the first place.

We still don’t know a lot about how the networks of cells in the brain enable conscious experience. The dominating view is that consciousness somehow emerges as a collective phenomenon when the dispersed information processing of individual neurons (brain cells) is integrated as the cells interact.

But the mechanism by which this is supposed to happen remains unclear. Now our study on rats, published in Communications Biology, suggests that psychedelics radically change the way that neurons interact and behave collectively....<<<Read More>>>...

Ken Bartle on the transformative role of spiritual values in human consciousness

Bartle recounted how his son's struggles with the Australian government over importing a car sparked his curiosity about the legal and governmental systems. Dissatisfied with existing frameworks like common law, natural law and admiralty law, the philosopher and published author embarked on a five-year quest to unravel the mystery of consciousness. His research led him to a groundbreaking realization: Consciousness is a process, not just a state of awareness.

He described consciousness as a "factory process" where thoughts and perceptions are the raw materials, and actions are the end product. This process involves various faculties such as intuition, conscience and emotions, all working together to shape a person's decisions and behaviors. The researcher and futurist emphasized that this understanding of consciousness is crucial for personal and societal transformation.

Bartle argued that consciousness is fundamentally spiritual, a concept often overlooked by mainstream science. He believes that by recognizing the spiritual dimension of consciousness, humans can unlock its full potential and harness it for personal growth and societal change.

A key aspect of Bartle's philosophy is the importance of spiritual values in shaping people's consciousness. He identified values such as truth, diligence, respect, courage and compassion as essential components of this process. These values, he explained, are embedded in an individual's subconscious mind and guide their actions, often without their conscious awareness.

"Spiritual values are actually locked into our conscious process, into the subconscious mind, but they're not in our conscious mind because that would override free will," Bartle said.

Bartle used the analogy of driving to illustrate how the subconscious mind operates. Just as people can drive across town without consciously thinking about every action, their subconscious mind relies on these values to navigate life's challenges. By consciously choosing and reinforcing these spiritual values, people can align their conscious and subconscious minds, creating a powerful synergy that propels them toward their goals...<<<Read More>>>...

The people who think AI might become conscious

I step into the booth with some trepidation. I am about to be subjected to strobe lighting while music plays – as part of a research project trying to understand what makes us truly human.

It’s an experience that brings to mind the test in the science fiction film Bladerunner, designed to distinguish humans from artificially created beings posing as humans.

Could I be a robot from the future and not know it? Would I pass the test?

The researchers assure me that this is not actually what this experiment is about. The device that they call the “Dreamachine, external” is designed to study how the human brain generates our conscious experiences of the world.

As the strobing begins, and even though my eyes are closed, I see swirling two-dimensional geometric patterns. It’s like jumping into a kaleidoscope, with constantly shifting triangles, pentagons and octagons. The colours are vivid, intense and ever-changing: pinks, magentas and turquoise hues, glowing like neon lights.

The “Dreamachine” brings the brain’s inner activity to the surface with flashing lights, aiming to explore how our thought processes work.

The images I’m seeing are unique to my own inner world and unique to myself, according to the researchers. They believe these patterns can shed light on consciousness itself.

They hear me whisper: “It’s lovely, absolutely lovely. It’s like flying through my own mind!”

The “Dreamachine”, at Sussex University’s Centre for Consciousness Science, external, is just one of many new research projects across the world investigating human consciousness: the part of our minds that enables us to be self-aware, to think and feel and make independent decisions about the world.

By learning the nature of consciousness, researchers hope to better understand what’s happening within the silicon brains of artificial intelligence. Some believe that AI systems will soon become independently conscious, if they haven’t already.

But what really is consciousness, and how close is AI to gaining it? And could the belief that AI might be conscious itself fundamentally change humans in the next few decades?...<<<Read More>>>...

The Blackout That Shifted Consciousness in Spain and Portugal

You may well be aware of the recent catastrophic power outages causing the blackout in Spain and Portugal. It was said to be one of the biggest blackouts in Europe’s history. Accident or not, there are a number of theories and technology-based explanations as to what happened. Was it a psyop? Will it happen again?

However, this article is not about those accounts or explanations already put forward. Instead, it focuses on something different: Something very strange happened during the Spain and Portugal blackout, with millions affected, but nobody’s talking about it. Something shifted, and this may be more significant than realized.

During the Spain and Portugal blackout, something happened, but it was not seen on camera or documented in official accounts. What happened was internal. It was felt during the quietude. Aware or not, this short-lived blackout-based internal experience caused mass behavioral changes.

Before explaining those behavioral changes, what caused them and their significance, consider this...<<<Read More>>>...

Brain’s Hidden Awareness: New Study Rethinks the Origins of Consciousness

A groundbreaking seven-year experiment has delivered fresh insights into what creates consciousness. The study, involving human participants and published in Nature, explored the fundamental question of how our minds become aware.

Integrated Information Theory (IIT) proposes that consciousness arises when information within a system, like our brain, is highly interconnected and functions as a unified whole. Think of it like a perfectly synchronized orchestra – all the instruments playing together create a single, conscious experience.

Global Neuronal Workspace Theory (GNWT), on the other hand, suggests that specific brain areas act like a spotlight, highlighting important information and broadcasting it across the brain, making us consciously aware of it. Imagine a news bulletin being broadcast widely so everyone knows about it....<<<Read More>>>...

Conscious Electrons? The Problem with Panpsychism

I feel increasingly concerned about what I believe to be a mounting and extremely dangerous cultural threat looming on the horizon: panpsychism, the notion that all matter has consciousness, as opposed to being in consciousness.

At a historical nexus when new data and more critical thinking are finally rendering materialism logically and empirically inviable, panpsychism comes in as a tortuous but seductive bandaid.

It threatens to extend the delusion of a universe outside consciousness for yet another century. In this essay, I’d like to try and raise the alarm about it.

Before we begin, let’s clarify what I mean by panpsychism. As discussed in the Stanford Encyclopedia of Philosophy, the term ‘panpsychism’ has so many possible interpretations as to render it at best ambiguous and at worst useless. So more must be said. What I specifically mean here are two particular interpretations of the term that I believe are gaining momentum in both academia and the culture at large...<<<Read More>>>...

Consciousness: The Fundamental Fabric of Reality

Have you ever had a dream so vivid that you thought it was real, only to wake up and realize it was all in your mind?

What if our waking reality is similar—not a fixed, physical stage, but a construct of consciousness?

Science has leaned on a materialistic view, asserting that the physical world is primary and consciousness is merely a byproduct of brain activity.

Yet, emerging evidence from physics, consciousness studies, and ancient wisdom suggests that consciousness is fundamental, creating our perceptions of the physical world, including the laws of General Relativity and Quantum Mechanics.

Modern physics rests on two monumental theories: Quantum Mechanics, which governs the behavior of particles at the smallest scales, and General Relativity, which describes gravity and the structure of space-time at the largest scales....<<<Read More>>>...

A Conscious Revolution: Humanity’s Journey to a New Reality

Humanity stands on the threshold of a significant collective consciousness ascension. The process of individual and global awakening is creating a new era in which people will transition to higher vibrational states of awareness, leading to a more harmonious, love-based world.

This transformation affects not only internal personal growth but also the restructuring of societal systems, ecological balance, and universal connections.

More people are beginning to recognize that reality is not solely material but also exists within a complex, energetic field that influences human experiences. Old paradigms are dissolving, leading to increased openness to spirituality and universal truths. Intuition is strengthening, synchronicities are becoming more frequent, and a deeper sense of inner guidance is emerging....<<<Read More>>>...

Will a Revolution in Consciousness Lead Humanity to World Peace?

Revolution in consciousness: Given a megaphone with a platform to stand on and an engaging audience, there are three words I would love to holler: “Consciousness is everything..!” in a talk to inspire possibility…

It has been said in so many words that ‘universal consciousness underpins every aspect of reality.’ Let me explain what this implies and then go on with how universal consciousness can be used to create world peace like we’ve never known before.

First of all, ask yourself, “What is life?”

Now, allow me to answer for you by saying life is biology. It seems a reasonable answer to me. You might respond by asking, “…but what is biology?” Biology is biochemistry. Biochemistry is that which props up and underpins biology and biological functioning, allowing all of life to exist.

However, we could further hone in on how life exists by asking, “…but what underpins biochemistry?” The answer is chemistry. Is chemistry everything? No! We dig down deeper again by asking, “… but what underpins chemistry?” Physics underpins chemistry. Stay with me this is going somewhere. Carrying on in the questioning, we could then say, that which underpins physics is energy.

All things are energy. All things have frequency and vibration. It’s important to know this to enhance our spirituality and well-being....<<<Read More>>>...

The Magic Trick Of Disappearing Consciousness

Explaining consciousness remains one of the top unanswered challenges in science and philosophy today. How can the warmth of love, the bitterness of disappointment, the redness of an apple, the sweetness of strawberries, be explained in terms of mass, momentum, charge, spin, or any of the attributes of matter?

How can concrete qualities be explained in terms of abstract quantities and relationships? Nobody has an answer to this, and not for lack of trying.

Such absolute failure to resolve the so-called ‘hard problem of consciousness‘ has led to a bizarre twist in philosophy of mind over the past three or four decades: the trick of disappearing consciousness...<<<Read More>>>...

Altered States of Consciousness Distort Time, But No One Knows Why

We all know that time seems to pass at different speeds in different situations. For example, time appears to go slowly when we travel to unfamiliar places. A week in a foreign country seems much longer than week at home.

Time also seems to pass slowly when we are bored, or in pain. It seems to speed up when we’re in a state of absorption, such as when we play music or chess, or paint or dance. More generally, most people report time seems to speed up as they get older.

However, these variations in time perception are quite mild. Our experience of time can change in a much more radical way. In my new book, I describe what I call “time expansion experiences” – in which seconds can stretch out into minutes.

The reasons why time can speed up and slow down are a bit of a mystery. Some researchers, including me, think that mild variations in time perception are linked to information processing....<<<Read More>>>...

The true, hidden origin of the so-called ‘Hard Problem of Consciousness’

Philosophers of mind talk much about the so-called ‘Hard Problem of Consciousness.’ But is it a real, objective problem to be solved, or just the subjective reflection of a confused way of thinking? And in the latter case, where and how, precisely, does the problem arise? In this essay, you will be surprised at how obvious and quaint the thought error is that underlies the hard problem, and flabbergasted that so many otherwise smart, educated people can consider the whole business a mystery of some sort.

To see why Physicalism fails to explain experience, notice that there is nothing about physical parameters—i.e., quantities and their abstract relationships, as given by, e.g., mathematical equations—in terms of which we could deduce, in principle, the qualities of experience. Even if neuroscientists knew, in all minute detail, the topology, network structure, electrical firing charges and timings, etc., of my visual cortex, they would still be unable to deduce, in principle, the experiential qualities of what I am seeing. This is the so-called ‘hard problem of consciousness’ that is much talked about in philosophy....<<<Read More>>>...

The War on Humanity – ‘A Deliberate Restriction of Consciousness’

Almost everything that’s wrong in the world starts from an implacable resistance to the existence of a state of consciousness.

Denial of the fact that every new human life born into this world is a divine spark, a fecund manifestation of limitless potential.

A denial of the fact that higher consciousness is actually the default position of humanity – not a distant goal only attainable by a dedicated minority.

So many remain in a state of resistance to their innate connection with the source of life, thus sealing themselves in a well constructed prison.

Something greatly encouraged via the dumbing down priorities enforced by the architects of global control.

Religious institutions created within this control system teach that only some outside saviour can rescue humanity from the ubiquitous spread of evil – of which they themselves are the prime perpetrators.

It is the inability to throw-off a long existing fixation with this form of irrational dogma that has brought the world so perilously close to the brink today.

The dictionary definition of dogma is “a set of principles intended to be accepted without question”.

Religious dogma starts by making its captors believe that they are powerless, and that their only hope in gaining a little power is by devoting themselves to praying for forgiveness for the fact that they were born sinners.

Being born ‘a sinner’, one is informed by Christian institutions, is due to the fact that Adam and Eve broke away from the command to obey a rule put in place by some strongly authoritarian master of the universe. He who oversaw events taking place in the Garden of Eden.

And if it was not for this reason that one is born a sinner, then it is because one is somehow implicated as being responsible for having Jesus nailed to an execution pole – the cross – in Jerusalem some 2,000 years ago...<<<Read More>>>...

Consciousness May Lurk in Our Brain’s Electrical Fields

Neural connections are at the heart of modern science, providing the framework through which scientists explain memory, perception, learning, and even consciousness. The microscopic contacts between brain cells transmit signals that account for various aspects of our complex consciousness—at least in theory.

However, Tamlyn Hunt, a philosopher and neuroscientist at the University of California, Santa Barbara, has proposed an alternative hypothesis in an article for Scientific American. Hunt suggests that the key to understanding consciousness may lie in the ephaptic field—a phenomenon where neurons interact electromagnetically without forming physical connections.

The concept of a neural code was first described by American scientists in 1943. They mapped brain activity, equating it to binary code, much like a computer (0s and 1s). However, this breakthrough didn’t bring humanity any closer to understanding the nature of consciousness....<<<Read More>>>...

Can consciousness exist without a brain?

"As a neurosurgeon, I was taught that the brain creates consciousness," said Dr. Eben Alexander, who wrote in detail about his experiences with consciousness while in a deep coma.

Many doctors and biomedical students may have been taught the same about consciousness. However, scientists are still debating whether that theory holds true.

Imagine a child observing an elephant for the first time. Light reflects off the animal and enters the child's eyes. Retinal photoreceptors in the back of the eyes convert this light into electrical signals, which travel through the optic nerve to the brain's cortex. This forms vision or visual consciousness.

How do these electrical signals miraculously transform into a vivid mental image? How do they turn into the child's thoughts, followed by an emotional reaction — "Wow, the elephant is so big!"

The question of how the brain generates subjective perceptions, including images, feelings, and experiences, was coined by Australian cognitive scientist David Chalmers in 1995 as the "hard problem."

As it turns out, having a brain may not be a prerequisite for consciousness....<<<Read More>>>...
