Sound therapy for Body and Mind - Physical and Spiritual

The whole of the Universe is energy and each basic element of the known atomic chart consists of energy at different rates of vibration. The difference between any two elements is the difference in both atomic structure and vibration rates.

Everything in this world we live in is vibrating, and if look deeper, everything is a vibration. Concepts such as the Big Bang, the butterfly effect, and even meditation are based on the properties of energy and vibrations. By observing these properties, we also come to the principles of using sound and vibrations in therapeutic ways.

These are not new principles. It is theorized that the didgeridoo, used by Australian aboriginal people, has been used for sound healing for over 40,000 years. This roughly coincides with the emergence of modern humans – one of the most notable features being spoken language. Ancient Egyptians recognized the power of sound and built pyramids to generate specific frequencies. Ancient Chinese and Indian cultures recognized the power of the sound. The Chinese symbol for medicine is identical to the symbol for music, but with two flags above it – possibly a depiction of tuning forks. Knowledge of Ayurveda is often found in the form of hymns in the Vedas. Both of these cultures use bronze bells in temples and sacred spaces to help cleanse the air. In fact, most religions and cultures utilize bells. Songs of praise, prayers, chants, and mantras are all practiced for their vibrational effects. Ancient Greeks used the power of sound. Pythagoras and his followers calculated harmonics of strings and other mathematical components of music. Hippocrates is even quoted to say “Music is medicine.” ...<<<Read More>>>...

Detoxing Your Body

When you want to start with a clean slate in life, one way is to cleanse your body. Detoxifying can be done in many ways and for many reasons, depending on your specific goals. You may feel a physical need for cleansing, or a spiritual one, where you would cleanse the areas of the body that correspond to your current life challenges. If you feel, for instance, that your inner self is not shining through as you would like, you may want to do a bathing detox to clean the skin of impurities so that you can radiate your inner health like a newly washed stained-glass window that lets the light shine through more brilliantly.

No matter how healthy and conscious our habits are, our bodies move with the cycles of life, which means before our cells can regenerate and be renewed, they need to fall like leaves from the trees. Just as we need to wash our bodies to remove the buildup from contact with the world around us, we also need to clean our bodies from the inside as well. You may want to detoxify your blood or digestive system, or target specific toxins such as plaque or metals. Our bodies are the vessels that allow us to move through life, but they need our attention to reach their full potential of beauty and balance.

The first days of a detoxification process may bring to mind an image of the dust that gets stirred up during spring cleaning. You may feel a little worse before you feel better, but that may indeed be the universe’s way of showing us the benefits by contrast. We live in a world of dualities, so we may need to experience both sides of a situation in order to find our perfect balance. Once the impurities have been cleansed, you may experience a sense of lightness or clarity of vision and purpose. You will know it worked when you feel enhanced ease as you move through the world toward your goals. (Daily OM)

Healing Your Sole

Our feet are home to literally thousands of nerve endings and almost 70 acupuncture points, which is why foot reflexology is so effective. By massaging and stimulating specific areas on the soles of our feet, we can provide general support for our entire body, improve sleep patterns, increase physical and mental well-being, and also alleviate chronic conditions such as sinusitis and digestive upset. Although it is wonderful to work with an experienced foot reflexologist whenever possible, we also can develop a practice of treating ourselves to a self-reflexology treatment before we begin our day or in the evening to relax before going to bed.

There are a number of different ways to work the soles of your feet, including walking barefoot on river stones, rolling each foot over a golf or tennis ball, or just using your fingers and hands to massage your feet. When starting a reflexology session, it’s a good idea to begin with loosening up your ankles — rotate each foot clockwise then counterclockwise about 10 times. You also might want to pinch the end of your toes, which can increase circulation and drainage in your sinuses and stimulate your pituitary and pineal glands. Then you can begin massaging the ball of your foot, the arch, and the heel. If you find an area that is tender, it may indicate some distress or dysfunction occurring in the corresponding area of the body. You may want to explore what is going on with that organ or system.

Whether we are able to spend just a few minutes a day on this kind of self-care or a full half hour, our efforts are never wasted. By taking responsibility for our own health and taking time every day to connect with our body, we can not only assist our body in letting go of stress and dysfunction; we also can continue to support an ongoing sense of wellness and vitality. Meditation Provides True Pain Relief by Altering Brain Perception

Scientists from the University of California, San Diego (UCSD) have discovered that meditation reduces pain not just through the placebo effect but by actually altering how the brain perceives pain.

The study was published in Biological Psychiatry.

Meditation, a practice where individuals observe their thoughts and emotions without judgment, has roots in Buddhist and Hindu traditions but is increasingly studied for its health benefits.

In this study, researchers aimed to understand how meditation influences pain perception.

They recruited 115 healthy participants, dividing them into four groups: one group practiced meditation, another did sham meditation (deep breathing), a third used a placebo cream, and a fourth listened to an audiobook as a control.

Participants were exposed to painful heat on their legs, with brain activity scanned via MRI before and after the procedure....<<<Read More>>>...

The Power of the Mind to Heal

In the past, cures that occurred in shrines, cathedrals, old temples, and evangelical crusades (tent revival meetings, healing camps), faith healing, spontaneous remissions, and inexplicable medical recoveries were considered “miracles” or exceptional occurrences beyond scientific explanation. The cure was credited or ascribed to a saint or a relic, or it was supposedly the result of the intervention of a healer, hypnotist, priest, shaman, minister, etc, who usually had a reputation of having charisma and prestige in the healing business.

The aim of my research is precisely to find a rational and scientific explanation for those cases. The main hypothesis of my new book Healing Without Medicine: From Pioneers to Modern Practice is that all methods of mind/spiritual healing are self-healing. Man has an inner capacity to heal himself. It is said the effectiveness of healing with medicine is due to the fact that medicine and other medical implements remove obstacles that enable the body’s recuperative capacity.

I also have examined the exceptional healing of the most prominent contemporary religious leaders of the New Thought Movement, who recovered their health by mental and spiritual means from supposedly “incurable” diseases, and I elicit the mechanism that triggered their healing. Healing Without Medicine also explains why some people do not respond to any kind of treatment whether with medicine or without it.The phenomenon of mental/mind healing started in the mid-1800s with a layman known as Phineas P. Quimby (1802–1866); he was an unschooled clock maker in New England,1 who after curing himself without medicine, reached the conclusion that negative beliefs create most human illnesses. Quimby was diagnosed with a terminal illness by the medical profession of the time; his kidneys were disintegrating and he was also suffering from tuberculosis. Disillusioned with life he abandoned his successful business and retired to his farm expecting to die. To make a long story short, he healed himself with the help of his assistant Lucius Burkmar and discovered what is called Mental/Mind healing. Subsequently, he started curing all kinds of diseases by just changing the frame of mind of the sick person...<<<Read More>>>...

Natural Remedy Written In The Bible: Extremely Powerful 3,500 -Year-Old Remedy Cures For All Diseases

Healing with medicinal plants is as old as mankind itself. The connection between man and his search for drugs in nature dates from the far past, of which there is ample evidence from various sources: written documents, preserved monuments, and even original plant medicines. Awareness of medicinal plants usage is a result of the many years of struggles against illnesses due to which man learned to pursue drugs in barks, seeds, fruit bodies, and other parts of the plants.

Contemporary science has acknowledged their active action, and it has included in modern pharmacotherapy a range of drugs of plant origin, known by ancient civilizations and used throughout the millennia. The knowledge of the development of ideas related to the usage of medicinal plants as well as the evolution of awareness has increased the ability of pharmacists and physicians to respond to the challenges that have emerged with the spreading of professional services in facilitation of man’s life.

Ever since ancient times, in search for rescue for their disease, the people looked for drugs in nature. The beginnings of the medicinal plants’ use were instinctive, as is the case with animals. In view of the fact that at the time there was not sufficient information either concerning the reasons for the illnesses or concerning which plant and how it could be utilized as a cure, everything was based on experience.

In time, the reasons for the usage of specific medicinal plants for treatment of certain diseases were being discovered; thus, the medicinal plants’ usage gradually abandoned the empiric framework and became founded on explicatory facts. Until the advent of iatrochemistry in 16th century, plants had been the source of treatment and prophylaxis.Nonetheless, the decreasing efficacy of synthetic drugs and the increasing contraindications of their usage make the usage of natural drugs topical again.

The oldest remedy used almost for every pain, burn or disease from the beginning of era is made from olive tree parts. Be it leaves, olives, olive seeds, they are all used for remedies....<<<Read More>>>...

Best Med Bed Videos: YES, The Existence of Med Beds is a Confirmed Fact – Proof Compilation!

We live in an age of technological wonders: space travel, AI development, and quantum computing, just to name a few. But what if I told you there’s technology, suppressed and hidden from the public eye, that possesses the potential to revolutionize our entire medical system?

For those not in the know, Med Beds are purported to be a type of advanced medical device. Their technology, reportedly, can diagnose and treat almost any illness, rejuvenate cells, and even reverse age! Sounds too good to be true? It’s not, and I’ve got the evidence to prove it.

Our existing medical industry, dominated by big pharma, stands to lose trillions. They’ve built empires upon our suffering and illnesses. Med Beds, with their miraculous capabilities, threaten to topple those empires. And thus, they’re suppressed.

But, as with all things concealed in darkness, the truth has a habit of coming to light. The age of deception is drawing to a close, and the revolution of truth has begun.

You’ve been lied to. I’ve been lied to. We’ve ALL been lied to. But why? Why are these Med Beds such a threat?...<<<Read More>>>....

SUPER FOCUS [ Flow State Music ] Binaural Beats 40Hz ★ Ambient Study Music

Super Focus music is back! Now you can reach flow state, study, read, and SUPER FOCUS on creative projects, learning, memorization tasks, gaming and more. I created this ambient study music with these custom Binaural Beats Frequencies:

15-Hz ALPHA

28-Hz BETA

40-Hz GAMMA

These waves may improve cognitive functions, memory and emotion. There are some impressive science-supported results with the 40-Hz Gamma waves that I used in this ambient study soundscape. This study music is specially designed to activate flow state. Flow is characterized by complete absorption in what one does, and a resulting loss in one's sense of space and time.

An Insight into Brainwave Entrainment

Welcome to the most powerful brainwave entrainment generator on the web. Don't be fooled by its relatively simple user interface. This software is capable of producing the widest range of brainwave modulations available so far, such as binaural beats, isochronic tones, bilateral entrainment, modulated white noise, and more! If you are eager to start your own brain hacking experiments, the rest of this section covers the basics: the minimum you should know to make sense of the sliders above. If you are interested in further understanding what brainwave entrainment is, more information follows!

Brainwaves are not pseudo-science: they exist. Brainwaves are a by-product of our brain's activity and packs of neurons communicating with each other. These brainwaves fall into different groups, depending on their frequency and their location in the brain. These groups have been linked to various body states, such as being alert, relaxed, or sleepy. Brainwaves are not audible: they are not sound waves, and even if they were, their frequencies would fall way below our audible range.

By using a stimulus at a given frequency, brainwave entrainment aims at synchronizing the brain with that frequency and inducing a given state such as drowsiness or focus. The stimulus could be anything, e.g. visual. This website uses auditory stimuli. Since the brainwave frequencies are not in the audible range, a trick is needed to convert the frequency we want to impose on our brain into something that is audible. The trick consists of selecting a frequency that we hear - we call it a carrier - then modulating this carrier with the brainwave frequency one wants to make audible. This website offers four modulators that can be used separately or combined: amplitude modulation (monaural modulation), binaural beats, stereophonic panning (bilateral modulation) and frequency modulation.

That's it! You can start using our online brainwave tool now....<<<Read More>>>...

Ways Music Benefits Your Heart, Brain & Health

Music can have a power that almost seems magical. It can lift moods, tell a story, bring tears, or spread a message. It’s a medium that has an ability to touch us on powerful levels.

Music has been a part of cultures all over the world since some of the earliest times in human history. Historically, it is believed that music may have been around even before humans could speak. Animal bones, wood, and rocks may have been used as early instruments according to some historians. Of course, the human voice was used as well, but it may not have been based around words at first.

Native Africans and Native Americans both used music in the form of chanting for their rituals and healing ceremonies. In Ancient Greece, music was used to ease stress, soothe pain, and help with sleeping patterns. Many have said music heals the soul, and today science helps us understand how these early intuitions were indeed correct....<<<Read More>>>...

The Ultimate Guide to Throat Chakra Healing For Complete Beginners

According to ancient Hindu tradition, the throat chakra is the energy center in our bodies responsible for communicating our raw and wild truth!

When we have a healthy throat chakra we are creative, honest, confident, assertive, and unafraid of expressing our truth to the world.

However, when we have a blocked throat chakra we struggle with problems such as fear of expressing our thoughts, shyness, social anxiety, dishonesty, stubbornness, untrustworthiness, lack of creativity, and verbal aggressiveness.

If you suspect that you might have a blocked throat chakra, think back to your childhood. Were you criticized a lot by your parents or caretakers? Did your family encourage you to express your truth? Were your thoughts, ideas, and opinions valued? If you felt like you couldn’t openly express your thoughts and feelings, it’s likely that you struggle with an unhealthy throat chakra.

This guide will help you initiate your own unique process of throat chakra healing....<<<Read More>>>...

How to Access Your Intuition to Heal

[Wake Up World]: Many of us are feeling a lot of feelings these days. That’s a vague way of saying that our unprocessed emotions from the past 2 years of trauma is catching up with us.

Take some time to acknowledge your feelings (and this Processing Negative Emotions tool can help do that). What emotion is still inside your body? Where is it? What does it look/sound like? Many of us have a lot of grief from lost relationships. Yes , there may still be anger, but beneath the anger is often sadness.

Write down these feelings. Where did they come from? What message do they have for you? What might happen if you begin to let them go? Let tears flow if need be. This can be a powerful emotional release.

Writing, tears, mindfulness of emotions are all ways to take the emotion outside of us so it doesn’t become a permanent fixture.

Another powerful way to bring in healing and to release our emotions is by learning to receive guidance through our intuition....<<<Read More>>>...

Vibrational Healing: Biological Mechanisms Underpinning Sound Therapy and Music Medicine

[Wake Up World]: The intent of this article is to provide an introduction to some of the many biological mechanisms advantageously activated by sound and music, collectively categorised as ‘vibrational medicine’. Since the development of quantum physics in the twentieth century, discoveries made in medical physics reveal the body as a complex interplay of biofields in which energy-information flows throughout the organism.

At the level of the cell, information is exchanged through electromagnetic signals–primarily in the far infra-red spectrum–in addition to biochemical signals and sonic frequencies. At the atomic level, biological complexities, and energy-information flow, can be viewed in terms of vibration. Nobel Laureate, Max Planck, said:

“As a man who has devoted his whole life to the most clear-headed science, to the study of matter, I can tell you as a result of my research about atoms this much: There is no matter as such. All matter originates only by virtue of a force which brings the particle of an atom to vibration and holds this minute solar system of the atom together”.

It is in this context that vibrational medicine has its roots: considering the energetic (vibrational) interconnectedness of the mind-body system. Practitioners of holistic medicine, or functional medicine4, as it is often referred to, review all aspects of the patient, including their emotions. In this expanded medical model, since the body is comprised of vibrational energy, a wide variety of vibrational and energetic modalities are available to support the patient’s physiology, including sound and music.

Some of the physiological mechanisms initiated by sound therapy and music medicine are achieved by whole-body immersion in specific sound frequencies, or in music, either recorded or live. Other mechanisms, initiated neurologically, can be achieved by listening to specific sounds or music by headphones....<<<Read More>>>...

Learn How Walking Mindfully Can Improve Your Health

[Wake Up World]:Walking, like breathing is something we do every day and is easy to take for granted. That is until something happens that hinders this ability.

Basically, the lymphatic system is like the sewage system of the body. It helps to remove damaging toxins that are largely reasonable for the development of inflammation. And as you may already know, stress is the leading cause of inflammation, thus making for a definite connection between stress, the lymphatic system, and inflammation. But here is some good news! Did you know that:

- Walking encourages the lymph fluid to flow and eventually enter the bloodstream.
- Walking in combination with slow deep breathing helps the body to release damaging toxins from the blood into the lungs.

When you exhale, the toxins are then expelled from your lungs. This combination is priceless for the restoration of your health. An increase in energy and an improved sense of well-being are some of the first positive effects you should experience.

Allow nature to help heal your body and mind....<<<Read More>>>...
