Face Masks Harmed Care Home Residents in Ways No Health and Safety Apparatchik Can Ever Understand

As a self-employed social care consultant and former care home inspector I visit over 100 care homes each year to conduct mock Care Quality Commission (CQC) inspections. During the COVID-19 epoch, when face masks went on in care homes, I witnessed a dramatically negative shift in atmosphere, spirit and human connection. Something profound was lost and, as I told the makers of the documentary Masking Humanity, despite what the guidance may have suggested, it wasn’t safety we gained in return.

In March 2020 there was fear and uncertainty everywhere in social care. The arrival of COVID-19 in care homes was coincident with excess death rates. I recall one 56-bed home in Northwest England that saw 50% of its residents die within in one month. A few weeks later the senior team looked like they were experiencing PTSD symptoms. At this time the use of masks was not mandated, the prevailing view amongst politicians and their advisors being they were ineffective. Nevertheless, when panic strikes any straw will be grasped and it seemed to many masks ‘just might’ be effective and were ‘worth a try’. As a result, and understandable within a context of widespread anxiety, care homes strove to procure masks and other PPE as best they could.

From June 2020, probably partly to create an appearance of action, the guidance issued by infection control teams made a U-turn. Masks became ‘mandated’ and care home staff wore them diligently. The summer months went by with few or no COVID-19 cases, and care staff, perhaps wanting to connect their efforts with the good results, began to believe it was the masks and assorted PPE that were keeping COVID-19 away. We now know that, unsurprisingly, there were very few COVID-19 cases nationally at that time and this apparent success was a mere coincidence.

With the perception that masks were working having taken root, when set against their apparent life-saving qualities, concerns and complaints about the downsides of masks seemed to be of low importance, often being ascribed to stupidity and selfishness on behalf of the sceptics raising them. Then, in the winter, during the second wave of COVID-19, it became clear the supposition that masks were keeping people safe was on very shaky ground indeed....<<<Read More>>>...

Millions of Face Masks Officially Declared Dangerous

[Waking Times]: This is not an article about whether face masks work.

As my readers know, for the past year I’ve been demonstrating that the SARS-CoV-2 virus has never been proven to exist. Therefore, face masks are nothing more (or less) than a mind-control ritual.

However, much has been written about the harm the masks cause.

And now we have an official declaration. On April 2, 2021, Health Canada issued an advisory, warning people not to “use face masks labelled to contain graphene or biomass graphene.”

Those concerns? Masks could create lung problems.

Of course, since COVID-19 is claimed to be a lung disease, you can see where that leads: the remedy turns out to cause what it’s supposed to prevent. I could write a book detailing how many times this “coincidence” pops up in the field of medicine.

Maynard’s article traces the safety concerns to a Chinese mask manufacturer, Shandong, but points out that millions of graphene-containing masks are in use around the world, produced by a whole host of companies.

So far, it’s not clear whether the nanoparticles of graphene in the masks also contain metals—which are highly destructive.

The mainstream literature on graphene is ambiguous: yes, it’s probably toxic to the lungs; perhaps not seriously so; perhaps only temporarily; there are more questions than answers.

Since there are more questions, why have these masks been certified anywhere in the world for public use? Why haven’t the CDC and the WHO made definitive statements about safety concerns?

At materialstoday.com, we have, “Is graphene safe?”

“But, it is the very nature of graphene that might be cause for concern: thin and lightweight, yet tough and intractable particles are notoriously worrisome in terms of the detrimental effects they can have on our health, particularly when breathed in…”...<<<Read The Full Article Here>>>...

Where are the climate warriors in decrying coronavirus mask pollution?

[Natural News]: In the United Kingdom (U.K.) alone, mask waste is now exceeding five Eiffel Towers’ worth of rubbish every single year. And yet we have not heard a peep from the climate alarmists about how all that filthy plastic pollution is destroying the planet at a catastrophic rate.

Dr. Brian C. Joondeph, M.D., says mask pollution is a serious problem that is being all but completely ignored by the establishment. Plastic grocery bags and plastic straws are the equivalent of a mass extinction event, we are told, but not the tens of billions of plastic face masks that are being discarded every single day, many in parking lots and on sidewalks where they eventually end up in lakes, oceans and rivers.

If the Wuhan coronavirus (Covid-19) is really as real and as deadly as the medical industry claims, then all this mask litter is also creating a global biohazard situation. Chinese virus remnants could be brewing in the mesh layers of all those discarded masks, putting everyone who comes in contact with them at risk of infection.

“Masks act as air filters rather than barriers,” Dr. Joondeph explains. “A barrier would be one of those space suits with a self-contained breathing apparatus worn by researchers in the most secure biolabs like the one at Fort Detrick.”

“If such a filter was in the ventilation system of a bioweapons lab, capturing lethal viruses, would it be tossed in the trash along with coffee cups and candy wrappers? It certainly would not, instead considered hazardous biowaste, decontaminated, and disposed of safely.”

Many people who wear a mask regularly are probably unaware of the fact that those disposable, made-in-China blue ones contain plastic materials that take 450 years to biodegrade. This means that for the next seven or eight generations, all those filthy masks will stew in the world’s water supplies and leach microplastics well into the future.

Since tens of millions of people wear these blue masks one after another, day after day – with no end in sight – there will effectively be untold billions of them littering the world’s oceans pretty much forever....<<<Read The Full Article Here>>>...
