Life Beyond Earth and Manipulation of Spacetime

 In an interview last night, I was asked two scientific questions. First, there was the news report about the discovery of the `strongest evidence yet’ of life on a distant planet, K2–18b.

I was asked: “If life is confirmed there, what would be the next step? Should we try to establish some sort of contact? Generally, do you think it is a good idea to reach out to extraterrestrials once we know where they are?”

I explained that the new paper is based on the JWST detection of the spectral fingerprint of a single molecule, dimethyl sulfide, in the atmosphere of the exoplanet. This molecule is not a reliable biomarker according to another paper, which shows that it is found in the interstellar medium without the presence of life. On Earth, this molecule is produced by microorganisms in the oceans.

Inferences based on the detection of molecular biomarkers in the atmospheres of exoplanets are indirect. However, as I suggested in a paper with my former student, Henry Lin, and Gonzalo Gonzalez, the detection of molecules associated with industrial pollution, such as CFCs, will be far more indicative, not only of life but also of the technologies it developed. Aliens: Extra-Terrestrial or Trans-Dimensional Beings?

 Are aliens extra-terrestrial? Ufologists, contactees and abductees presume that they are. This presumption is based on the theory that alien-astronauts visited the Earth in ancient times to establish off-world colonies and engineer the process of human evolution.

Since the aliens supposedly come from worlds other than our own, or so the theory goes, it follows they must be extra-terrestrial.

However, there is little evidence for believing this. To date, not a single ufologist, contactee or abductee can present credible evidence to support the view that aliens are extra-terrestrial. Evidence of a kind, however, does exist for an alternate theory about the ontological nature of alien entities.

This is the view that aliens are trans-dimensional entities inhabiting the myriad layers of alternate dimensions that interpenetrate the Multiverse, ‘in’ the world as we know it and yet not really ‘of’ the world....<<<Read More>>>...

 

Examining Extra-Dimensional Life & Worlds That May Exist Within Our Own

 The possibility of multiple universes and multiple dimensions is not the stuff of science fiction. These discussions have been had throughout history. They were written about in ancient Greece, by Anaximander, and in Vedic scriptures, eastern philosophy and more. These concepts are found in almost every culture we know about, and span all centuries throughout human existence. This trend hasn’t stopped.

Today, there are multiple scientific theories that support the idea of parallel universes and multiple dimensions beyond our own, like string theory for example. Many researchers also base their ideas of parallel universes on quantum mechanics, the mathematical description of subatomic particles. In quantum mechanics, multiple states of existence for tiny particles are all possible at the same time — a “wave function” encapsulates all of those possibilities.
