The Deception Over Climate is Even Worse Than the Deception Over Covid

In the aftermath of the release of the Lockdown Files, the public is slowly coming to terms with some fairly shocking facts: that the Government was willing to lie and mislead, and to scaremonger and manipulate the media, in order to achieve its Covid policy objectives (or even just to garner a few headlines). The news is still sinking in, but a day of reckoning for those involved looks likely.

For those of us bearing the scars of long engagement in the climate and energy wars, however, none of this was a surprise. It has long been clear that the inhabitants of the Westminster village were happy to hype up fears of climate purgatory and to fib about the road to redemption – renewables – and the cost of taking it. Once the public understand the depth and extent of the deception, and the damage done to the economy and the prospects for our children, the trickery over Covid is going to look decidedly peripheral.

The latest report from the Climate Change Committee (CCC) is a case in point. On the surface it’s a roadmap to a decarbonised electricity grid, but in reality it’s merely a sales document, full of tricks, evasions and outright falsehoods that would make even the most cynical used car salesman blush.

For example, in a number of places, it says that decarbonisation of the grid will be ‘cost-effective’, but you will find next to no information on what it will cost. The game that is being played becomes a bit clearer when you read the reference to ‘carbon prices’. In normal usage, the carbon price is the estimate of the damage done by a ton of carbon dioxide, but in the CCC’s parlance it is an estimate of what it will cost to decarbonise. So, while it gives you the impression it has done a cost-benefit analysis and is going to be saving you money, in reality it is only saying that the bill to be paid will be the same as previously advised. UN’s “sustainable” goal for renewable energy is sheer fantasy, if not utter madness

 The alleged purpose of the United Nations’ (“UN”) Sustainable Development Goal 7 (“SDG7”) is to “ensure access to affordable, reliable, sustainable and modern energy for all.” The real impacts of its implementation couldn’t be more different. Renewable energy is neither renewable nor sustainable and the SDG7 energy transition is only making the problem of energy poverty worse.

As part of an Unlimited Hangout investigative series titled ‘Sustainable Slavery’, Iain Davis wrote an essay about the impossible energy transformation. Below is the abridged version of his essay. SDG7 is one of the goals of Agenda 2030. The target date to achieve this goal is, as you might expect, 2030. The stated aim of SDG7 is to “ensure access to affordable, reliable, sustainable and modern energy for all.”

UN documents are couched in fluffy rhetoric. This obscures the unpalatable aspects of “sustainable development.” We must look beyond what has been said to what is being done.

When we look more closely at the UN stakeholder partnership’s efforts to meet SDG7, we find that, far from addressing the problems that restrict access to energy resources, they are actually exacerbating these problems with their so-called sustainable development of energy. Top scientist says globalist left’s ‘net zero’ emissions agenda will destroy modern civilization

  A top scientist is revealing the end game for the world’s left-wing, authoritarian globalist elite: To turn the entire planet into billions of slaves serving only them by destroying modern civilization under the false guise of controlling “climate change.”

In a recently published paper, Dr. Wallace Manheimer, a renowned nuclear physicist, ripped the globalist left’s “Net Zero” climate emissions plan as a sure-fire way to reverse more than a hundred years worth of technical accomplishment and progress in terms of creating a better way of life for most humans.

In an abstract of the paper, Manheimer notes that the climate is changing and always has changed, but there is no “climate crisis” and little, if any, of the changes have to do with modern life.

“The emphasis on a false climate crisis is becoming a tragedy for modern civilization, which depends on reliable, economic, and environmentally viable energy. The windmills, solar panels and backup batteries have none if these qualities,” the abstract says.

“This falsehood is pushed by a powerful lobby which Bjorn Lomborg has called a climate industrial complex, comprising some scientists, most media, industrialists, and legislators. It has somehow managed to convince many that CO₂ in the atmosphere, a gas necessary for life on earth, one which we exhale with every breath, is an environmental poison,” the summary continues.

“Multiple scientific theories and measurements show that there is no climate crisis. Radiation forcing calculations by both skeptics and believers show that the carbon dioxide radiation forcing is about 0.3% of the incident radiation, far less than other effects on climate,” it adds....<<<Read More>>>...

House of Lords pretend to debate behaviour change strategy that will be used to further climate change agenda

 The body advising the UK Government on climate change has said that 62 per cent of emissions reductions must come from “behaviour change and individual choices”.

In other words, the government must train people to use less energy. Net Zero will not be reached by using renewables. It’s going to be achieved by reducing our living standards. And that’s the plan.

On 12 October, the House of Lords Environment and Climate Change Committee (“CCC”) published a report entitled ‘In our hands: behaviour change for climate and environmental goals’. Failed zero Covid policy cost Australia over $938 billion, report finds

The danger in the post-lockdown era is that in our rush to move on we forget the hard lessons that have been learned about this catastrophic public policy failure.

On the basis of alarmist modelling, often commissioned by governments and amplified by sensationalist media, panicked politicians discarded all basic ideas about proportionality and the rule of law to criminalise everyday life and exert unprecedented controls over the citizenry.

From the beginning of the pandemic in March 2020, all Australian governments adopted the attitude that any public health mitigation measure was on the table, and little to no consideration was given to the costs of the measures that were adopted.

This is the subject of new research published by the Institute of Public Affairs, which for the first time in Australia calculates many of the costs of the nation's Covid zealotry up to June 2022. In the report, Hard Lessons: Reckoning the Humanitarian, Economic, and Social Costs of Zero-Covid, we find that the total economic and fiscal cost of the Australian COVID-19 response was no less than A$938.4 billion (£550.6 billion) to June 2022. This report identifies: 

$595.8 billion in state and federal Government to enforce Covid policies and stimulate the economy;     

$259.8 billion in lost economic activity because of the restrictions and economic shutdowns;

$82.8 billion in inflation related costs due to expansive monetary and fiscal policies, a cost which is set to only increase more and more over the next couple of years. 

The research also calculates how much children suffered in terms of schooling. Despite being the safest cohort in society when it comes to COVID-19, children were routinely sent home to learn remotely or not learn at all. We estimate children in the state of Victoria would have lost about 12 weeks of reading skills and 17 weeks of numeracy skills, something which for many will never be recovered.

Even on the most basic metric, lockdowns failed. In terms of the number of years of life, the costs of joblessness because of the initial nationwide lockdowns in March and April 2020 were about 31 times more costly than the maximum possible years of life saved by lockdowns throughout 2020 and 2021.

Even in the state of Victoria, whose Labor Government enthusiastically established a world-renowned Covid police state, politicians are no longer touting their pandemic response in the lead up to the state election in November.

Likewise, the former federal Liberal/Nationals Coalition Government, which was voted out of office earlier this year, rarely boasted of its Covid response.

Zero-COVID policy having severe effects on Chinese economy

 China’s stubborn adherence to its zero-COVID policy has severely affected the country’s economy.

It was highlighted during a citywide lockdown in Shanghai, a global financial hub of over 25 million people. The draconian measure imposed by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) to curb the spread of the Wuhan coronavirus (COVID-19) lasted two months.

In terms of the reduction of cases, the two-month lockdown was a success as live cases were reduced to hundreds nationwide. On July 11, China’s National Health Commission presented these data: a total of 352 new domestically transmitted COVID infections, 46 new symptomatic cases and 306 new asymptomatic cases.

Considering that China has a population of over 1.4 billion, these figures are minuscule to merit a second look.

But to achieve this reduced level, China paid an exorbitant price that ran into billions of dollars as production, tourism, business and industry slowed down or ground to a halt. Not to mention, of course, the unquantifiable physical toll and mental anguish the long isolation caused the residents accustomed to leaving their residences as they please.

Many went insane or suffered a mental breakdown while some allegedly paid the ultimate price by committing suicide due to depression and fear of starvation.

What’s particularly galling was young children were forcibly taken away from their parents and pet dogs and cats were disposed of with mere suspicion of their owners having the virus and them as possible carriers.

In monetary terms, the lost income and the slashed potential revenue are enough to cripple a small country’s economy – but not a robust one like that of China, which has an industrial added value reaching 31.3 trillion yuan ($4.84 trillion), according to the country’s Ministry of Industry and Information Technology.

The truth is, even before the lockdown was imposed, COVID is already ravaging China’s economy. Only, the CCP thought the situation was under control.

According to the National Bureau of Statistics, China’s economy contracted by 2.6 percent from January to March. Of course, the situation only worsened from April to June with the lockdown in effect.

Reports noted that widespread lockdowns cut the country’s economic growth to 0.4 percent in the second quarter as production and logistics activities were interrupted, making Beijing’s target of about 5.5 percent for the full year increasingly unattainable....<<<Read More>>>....

'Zero Covid' is utopian, authoritarian nonsense - is that why so many lefties love it?

Governments should adopt a strategy of eliminating Covid-19. Who could argue with that? After five months of lockdowns over the past year in the UK, everyone is mightily sick of living with restrictions. If there is a way of driving the virus out altogether, perhaps we should take it. But the demands of the 'Zero Covid' movement seem to be an odd mix of uncontroversial policies and extending authoritarian measures indefinitely.

The campaign group was set up last summer, predominantly by left wingers such as trade unionists, local councillors and academics, and seeks to entirely eradicate the virus from our shores.

Its means of achieving this involve a full lockdown until cases have been reduced "close to zero", the shutting down of unsafe workplaces, and the government paying people not to work and stay at home. It says diseases such as polio, measles and smallpox have all been eradicated and that we should do the same with Covid. However long it takes.

So far, so fanciful.

Perhaps 'Zero Covid' is not the best bit of branding. Not even its most ardent supporters think the virus will disappear any time soon. However, by reducing infections domestically to very low levels and doing everything possible to stop the virus from being imported from abroad, the argument is that we could, in every other respect, be much freer. The Madness of Zero Covid

[SOTT]: Some days Scotland is aiming for a 'Zero Covid' strategy. Some days it's aiming to 'eliminate' the virus SARS-CoV-2.

And some days, it seems we have no plan at all.

Professor Devi Sridhar, a most trusted adviser to the Scottish Government, openly muses about 'Zero Covid', qualifying what she means in various ways. Recently she wrote that when she said we should strive for 'Zero Covid', she meant 'endemic virus'. These are not the same things.

On the 10th March, Nicola Sturgeon stated in Parliament that we must 'eliminate' Covid. Someone needs to challenge her to define 'eliminate'.

The first rule of the management of any project is: determine and define your aim. When the project might destroy all the economic and social structures of your nation, establishing a clear aim seems an important place to start.

Until 2020/21, 'endemic' status of viruses has always come about with time and gathering high enough levels of community immunity through exposure.

Take 'Russian Flu': in 1889/90 we suffered a grim and frightening pandemic. [Read 'An Uncommon Cold']. It is now widely postulated that this pandemic was in fact caused by a Coronavirus (named 'OC43') rather than a flu virus. It makes little difference: it is estimated to have killed 1 million people worldwide out of a population of only 1.5 billion. When people became ill with Russian Flu, they developed high fevers, fatigue and central nervous system dysfunction. It was an extremely unpleasant way to die and very contagious. But for others infected, no doubt, they experienced mild or even severe illness, and did not die but recovered with varying speed and success.

This virus spread through the population for some years, apparently originating in St Petersburg, causing less death as time went on, mutating and evolving until it caused only very minor symptoms in the vast majority of its hosts. It quickly came to an overall peaceful understanding with the collective human immune system.

Zero Carbon – Zero Covid: Twin Phantoms of Planetary Genocide

Yes, the un-creator is in town. Lord of Chaos. Hater of creation. Only because IT can't create only destroy. 

It's like the big kid who's spat the dummy ... and has nobody worked out yet that behind all of this bullshit is a rather scared A.I computer system that sees humans as a threat? It sees humans as having what it can never have. 

It's tried to replicate humans and has failed. So it's now hellbent on our demise and replacement with things like itself.

[Waking Times]: Within the control system’s Davos engineered genocide programme called Agenda 2030/The Great Reset, are some striking cohabitating toxic agendas. The one I wish to highlight in this article is the Zero Carbon ‘stop climate change’ goal – and the Zero Covid ‘stop the world pandemic’ goal.

The supposed aim of both the above programmes is to wipe out something that can’t be wiped out, since it forms an integral part of our living world and biosphere and therefore cannot be eradicated without the eradication of life itself.

Believe it or not, the Davos agenda which seeks to replace sentient, social humanity with a robotic computer controlled cyborgian army, does indeed come very close to eradicating life ‘as we know it’.

As we recall, government commissioned climatologists, working to a formula devised by the Club of Rome and Bilderbergers, have – for at least the past three decades – set about trying to convince all and sundry that carbon dioxide (CO2) is a dangerous pollutant. One they falsely associate with the mining and combustion of fossil fuels choking the upper atmosphere; with the consequential overheating of the planet being labelled ‘the greenhouse effect’.

But as I have pointed-out in previous articles, in reality scientists have found that the amount of CO2 in the upper atmosphere amounts to a negligible 0.0037%, coming around seventh in the list of elements associated with having an adverse effect on climate.

Similarly, the great majority of pollutants emanating out of factories and transport systems consist of toxins and particulates – e.g. nitrous oxides and carbon monoxide – that have little or nothing to do with CO2, but have been deliberately relabelled as such to sell the notion that the smoke seen rising out of factory and domestic chimneys is that ‘evil brew’ called ‘CO2’.

The entire Davos Fourth Industrial Revolution, Green New Deal and ‘Re-Set’ plan, designed as it supposedly is ‘to save the world’ through achieving ‘Zero Carbon’ by 2050, is thus an audacious and carefully planned lie. Carbon, far from being a killer that must be eradicated, is actually a primary building block of life without which we would have no plant kingdom and therefore no oxygen to breathe. No life on Earth.

Now the scene shifts to ‘Covid’ and a parallel ‘eradication scheme’ – made famous by the World Health Organisation (WHO). Here the plan is to eradicate what has been painted as a vicious and barely controllable ‘virus’. A plan that can only be described as pure scientific fraud.

Yes, viruses just happen to play a critical role in maintaining the health and welfare of living creatures, not least human beings; and their ‘eradication’ – or the eradication of just ‘one’(if it could be isolated) would completely destabilise the health and equilibrium of anyone unlucky enough to fall foul of the perpetrators. In Covid’s case, the perpetrators’ intentions are publicly made manifest via the WHO’s Corona blitzkrieg and subsequently enforced by governments all over the world.

At this very moment, the lives of around seven billion people have been turned upside down based entirely upon the globally adopted statement of WHO chief Tedros Adhanon – supported by a posse of hand-picked ‘scientists’ – that this ‘virus’ is a deadly pathogen having the potential to lay humanity low and render normal life completely unmanageable.

But in reality, the Corona Virus from which Covid-19 is extrapolated is – according to the definition of The American Encyclopedia of Medicine – simply ‘the common flu’; which while killing a significant number of people each year, comes well down the list of diseases commonly known to be the cause of high death rates around the globe.

Just as ‘carbon’ comes way down the list of supposedly deadly components in the upper atmosphere – and yet – due to the need of the central cabal to have an excuse to exert absolute control over humanity – is held responsible for driving the planet towards Armageddon.

Covid-19 isn’t ‘a deadly virus’ at all. It isn’t even ‘a virus’ in the first place. And neither is Carbon a pollutant. Boris Johnson urged to adopt ‘zero-Covid’ strategy to provide ‘clarity and reassurance’ – they are calling for fascism actually on the basis of utter insanity. Politicians then? Yep

[David Icke]: Boris Johnson has been urged to commit to a “zero-Covid” approach across England by a group of MPs and peers.

In a letter to the Prime Minister, the All-Party Parliamentary Group on coronavirus called on the Government to maintain compulsory social distancing measures across the country until zero-Covid is achieved.

The MPs said working from home should be actively encouraged and Covid-19 screening should be introduced at transport hubs, shopping centres and supermarkets, in order to meet the goal.

The zero-Covid measure would “provide clarity and reassurance” to the public, said the group of politicians.
