Astral Projection: Just a Mind Trip?

The idea that humans can leave their bodies during dream states is ancient. Countless people, from New Agers to shamans around the world, believe that it is possible to commune with cosmic intelligence through visions and vivid dreams experienced during astral projection, also known as out-of-body experiences. Surveys suggest that between 8 and 20 percent of people claim to have had something like an out-of-body experience at some point in their lives — a sensation of the consciousness, spirit, or "astral body" leaving the physical body. While most experiences occur during sleep or under hypnosis, some people claim to do it while merely relaxing.

It may be a profound experience, but the fundamental problem is that there's really no way to scientifically measure whether or not a person's spirit "leaves" or "enters" the body. The simplest and best explanation for out-of-body experiences is that the person is merely fantasizing and dreaming. Because there is no scientific evidence that consciousness can exist outside of the brain, astral projection is rejected by scientists.

Why hasn't astral projection been proven scientifically? Some claim it's because mainstream scientists are closed-minded and refuse to even look at evidence that doesn't fit their narrow worldview. However, in science those who disprove dominant theories are rewarded, not punished. Proving the existence of psychic powers, astral projection or alternative dimensions would earn the dissenting scientists a place in the history books, if not a Nobel Prize.....read more>>>...

A Look at the New PM

So we decided to undertake an oracle spread using THE LIGHT OF TRUTH ORACLE CARDS on Andy Burnham and the situation with The Labour Party etc etc. Above is a visual view of the spread.

CHALLENGES - The Hanged Man in the tarot - "I do not identify with the ordinary contemplations of the human self. I need to be redefined”.  “Life‟s challenges now stand before me. I will attend to each every obstacle in the best way that I can. I make a promise to my inner self that I will approach these challenges as truthfully as I can. I accept that in some challenges I will fail. But fear not … I know I will prevail if I persist in my spiritual integrity and remain true to my own self.”

NEW BEGINNINGS - 8 Of Cups - “In this  moment in which you find yourself realise the intrinsic quality of all that is around you ”. “Don‟t let past failings and disappointments ruin your passage through life. At this time be aware there is the potential for success all around you. It‟s merely a case of re-scheduling your perspectives and realising where you placed those discarded ideas. Possibilities abound. You merely need to seek and you will find!”

RISK - 8 Of Swords - “Risk, risk, risk … to potentially gain, gain, gain … sometimes it pays to take the gamble.. This could be that time!  “Being faced with a good opportunity may not always be the most pleasant of stances. Especially if it means stepping out of a comfort zone. Be the observer and witness all that can be gained from taking the opportunity. If it is seen to be worth the risk then seriously consider your options. But know it is only you that can decide to make that choice.”

LOSS - 5 of Swords - “Conflicts have appeared on the horizon. It is not time to make any quick
decisions. Wait for a better time"
. “Have you ever regretted not listening to that first gut instinct? Making a series of fateful decisions which have been very much to your detriment? A chain reaction of life changing events which could have been prevented by acting on that insistent inner voice? If this is one of those times … really think carefully before you make a decision. Listen to the inner voice.”

ABUNDANCE - 4 Of Coins - ”I am the primal plan, the emanations of all the spiritual laws … which is replicated and reflected by your physical world “ “Remember, you are a perfect replica of all that there is. Your form on earth is a reflection of your essence on higher realms. For you to truly manifest yourself on the physical plane as the highest aspiration that you most surely can be you need to exhibit the virtue of obedience. That is the obedience to self and to trust your own judgements.”

CONSCIOUSNESS - King Of Coins - “True consciousness exists only in the now experience. Thus be in the now and experience it consciously.”  “Now is the time to REALLY BE. To really live life to the full. The purpose of consciousness is to experience the moment to the full. There can be no holding back from this purpose. You owe it to your true self to fully experience human existence and to be truly grateful for your existence. Fear not what has been or what will be …experience the NOW to the maximum extent …”

TRADITIONS - The World - “Enter the inner world of the psyche at your peril. For here is a world with a different language and a different agenda to your own”    “No matter how mundane the outside world might seem, it is important to remember you are a spiritual being in a physical experience. It is vital to be aware of what your inner voice is telling you. Though its language is not the same as in the outside world, it can be listened to just the same. Your task is to honour the wishes of your inner self when you can”

THE KEY -  “I am the mysterious light … the first light of being; the limitless and the eternal light.”   “So much of human life is inexplicable and unpredictable. It happens by the simple fact that there is no reason as to why it shouldn‟t. When we make any plans we always assume we can account for the foreseeable based on the known parameters in life. We cannot account for the inexplicable or the unforeseeable. We must accept the unforeseeable exists”

So, what do we make of the oracle spread? Andy Burnham appears to have a superiority complex/meglomania and is a dangerous sociopath... The Key is a clue. Plenty of empty promises. He has no intention of telling the truth or sticking to the pledges he makes. Many of the insights should be read in reverse as a reverse of the meaning. NO new beginnings, NO abundance .... the spread indicates danger and folly ... more of the same as Starmer. Same hidden hands pulling the strings. The theme is deception. Very much the Fabian wolf in sheep's clothing. Beware Britain. - Matthew James

Defence Mechanisms

We all have defence mechanisms that we’ve developed over time, often without being aware of them. In times of trouble, the behaviors that have worked to get us past challenges with the least amount of pain are the ones we repeat; even when a part of us knows they no longer work. Such behaviour is a natural response from our mental and physical aspects. But because we are spiritual beings as well, we have the ability to rise above habits and patterns to see the truth that lies beyond. And from that moment on, we can make choices that allow us to work directly from that place of truth within us.

Most of our defence mechanisms were developed in childhood — starting with the moment we realized crying would get us the attention we craved. Passive aggressive ways of communicating may have allowed us to get what we needed without being scolded, punished, or laughed at, so we learned to avoid being direct and honest. Some of us may have taken refuge in the lives of others, discovering ways to direct attention away from ourselves entirely. Throwing ourselves into projects or rescuing others from themselves can be effective ways to avoid dealing with our own issues. And when people are truly helped by our actions, we get the added bonus of feeling heroic. But while defenses can keep away the things we fear, they can also work to keep our good from us.

When we can be honest with ourselves about what we truly desire, then we can connect our desires to the creative power of the spirit within us. Knowing that we are one with the energy of the universe allows us to release any need for defense. Trusting that power, we know that we are exactly where we are meant to be and that challenges bring gifts of growth and experience. When we can put down arms raised in defense, then we are free to use our hands, minds, hearts, and spirits to mold and shape our abundant energy to create and live our lives....<<<Read More>>>...

Putting Power in Perspective

As human beings, we cannot help but be subject to our preferences. However, we do have control over the manner in which these manifest themselves in our lives. Every value we hold dear is an expression of either support or opposition, and it is our perspective that determines whether we are for something or against it. For example, we can direct our energy and intentions into activities that promote peace rather than use our resources to speak out in opposition to war. On the surface, these appear to be two interchangeable methods of expressing one virtue. Yet being for something is a vastly more potent means of inspiring change because it carries with it the power of constructive intent.

When you support a cause, whether your support is active or passive, you contribute to the optimism that fuels all affirmative change. Optimistic thoughts energize people, giving them hope and inspiring them to work diligently on behalf of what they believe in. Being for something creates a positive shift in the universe, which means that neither you nor those who share your vision will have any trouble believing that transformation on a grand scale is indeed possible. To be against something is typically easy, as you need only to speak out in opposition to it. Standing up for something is often more challenging because you may be introducing an idea to people that may scare them on a soul level.

Throughout your life, you have likely been told that the actions of one person will seldom have a measurable impact on the world. Yet your willingness to stand up for what you believe in instead of decrying what you oppose can turn the tides of fate. The thoughts you project when you choose to adopt a positive perspective will provide you with a means to actively promote your values and eventually, foster lasting change....<<<Read More>>>...

Spiritual Practice

Many spiritual seekers feel called to far-flung places across the globe in the interest of pursuing the path of their enlightenment. This may indeed be the right course of action for certain people, but it is by no means necessary for attaining an enlightened consciousness. Enlightenment can take root anywhere on Earth as long as the seeker is an open and ready vessel for higher consciousness. All we need is a powerful intention, and a willingness to do the work necessary to move forward on our path.

In terms of spiritual practice, at this moment, there are more tools available to more people than at any other time in history. We have access to so much wisdom through books, magazines, the internet, television, and film. In addition, the time-honored practice of meditation is free, and sitting quietly everyday, listening to the universe, is a great way to start the journey within. There is further inspiration in the fact that the greatest teachers we have are our own life experiences, and they come to us every day with new lessons and new opportunities to learn. If we look at the people around us, we may realize that we have a spiritual community already intact, and if we don’t, we can find one, if not in our own neighborhood then online.

Meanwhile, if we feel called to travel in search of teachers and experiences, then by all means, we should. But if we can’t go to India, Burma, or Indonesia, or if we don’t have the desire, this is not an obstacle in terms of our spiritual development. In fact, we may simply be aware that our time and energy is best spent in our own homes, with our meditation practice and all the complications and joys of our own lives. We can confidently stay in one place, knowing that everything that we need to attain enlightenment is always available right where we are...<<<Read More>>>>....

The Decisions You Make

Our lives are defined by the decisions we make each day. When we choose one option over another, whether we are selecting a restaurant or considering a cross-country move, we shape our lives. The decision-making process can be empowering, allowing us to enjoy the benefits of self-determination. Yet, it can also be a source of anxiety because decisions force us to face the possibility of dissatisfaction and inner conflict. As a result, many of us opt to avoid making decisions by allowing others to make them for us. We consequently turn our power over to spouses, relatives, friends, and colleagues, granting them the stewardship of our lives that is ours by right. Though the decisions we must make are often difficult, we grow more self-sufficient and secure each time we trust ourselves enough to choose.

Ultimately, only you can know how the options before you will impact your daily life and your long-term well-being. Within you lies the power to competently weigh the advantages and disadvantages of each selection. Even if you feel incapable of making a decision, your inner wisdom and your intuitive mind will give you sound counsel if you have faith in yourself. Try to come to your own conclusions before seeking the guidance of others, and even then, treat their suggestions as supplementary information rather than votes to be tallied. Before making your choice, release your fear of wrong decisions. Perceived mistakes can lead you down wonderful and unexpected paths that expose you to life-changing insights. If you can let go of the notion that certain choices are utterly right while others are entirely wrong, you will be less tempted to invite others to take the reins of your destiny.

When your choices are your own, you will be more likely to accept and be satisfied with the outcome of those choices. Your decisions will be a pure reflection of your desires, your creativity, your awareness, and your power. Since you understand that you must live with and take responsibility for your decisions, you will likely exercise great care when coming to conclusions. As you learn to make informed and autonomous choices, you will gain the freedom to consciously direct the flow of your life without interference. (Daily OM)

The Power of Storytelling

Ever since our ancestors could first communicate, we have gathered to share our stories. We have passed along creation tales and tragic stories of lost love. We have repeated accounts of real heroism and simple stories of family history. When our forebears lived closer to the land and to each other, the practice of storytelling was imbued with ritual and occasion. Members of the tribe would often gather around the fire to hear their genealogy recited aloud by an elder or master storyteller. Listeners could track how their own lives, and the lives of their parents, connected to other tribe members. Everyone’s ancient relatives once played out similar life dramas together.

As a custom, some cultures’ storytellers repeat the same tale over and over because they believe that each time you hear it, you come to the story as a different person and view the plot and characters in a new light. Hearing the story over and over is a way to gauge where you have been and where you are now on your path of personal evolution. It also helps the younger generation learn the stories so that they can pass them to forthcoming generations.

When we hear others tell stories, we can laugh at their humorous adventures, feel the thrill of exciting encounters, see parts of ourselves in them, and learn from the challenges they face. Though most of our formal traditions of storytelling are lost, it does not mean we have to be without. We can begin new practices in our own families — listening to one another, honoring our own path, and witnessing the journeys of those around us. We can revive this tradition by gathering around the campfire or hearth with family and friends, and sharing stories. By building these new practices, we give ourselves and the ones we love an opportunity to draw ever closer in our shared human experience. (David Icke)

Bioenergetic Integration

Most of us are not in our “comfort zones” right now. In various ways, we feel stressed and stretched — balancing multiple priorities, such as family obligations, challenges at work, or financial worries that keep us up at night. And while it’s easy to assume that once a stressful moment passes, it simply fades away; the body often tells a different story.

When experiences feel overwhelming or emotionally unresolved, the effects don’t just live in our memory. They can settle into the body as lingering tension. Over time, this tension may surface as fatigue that rest doesn’t fully resolve, mental fog or difficulty concentrating, disrupted sleep, or a persistent sense of feeling reactive or on edge without fully understanding why.

Fortunately, relief is possible through bioenergetic healing — a holistic approach that integrates nervous system regulation, fascia micro-movements, and energy-clearing practices to support the body’s natural return to balance. The emphasis is not on force or effort, but on listening to what you need, allowing your entire being to soften, unwind, and finally exhale. As tension begins to release, a quieter sense of steadiness and ease can emerge, bringing with it the deeply grounding feeling of emotional harmony. (Daily OM)

Reawaken Your Purpose

Too often, we’re conditioned to push, hustle, and check off all the boxes we think we are “supposed” to be doing. Yet, somewhere along the line, so many of us lose ourselves. And over time, we start feeling deeply disconnected from our true selves, trapped in patterns that no longer serve us and completely unfulfilled and hopeless.

It makes sense, doesn’t it? The cost of not living your life's purpose can be painful. It’s painful for the painter not to paint, the singer not to sing, the writer not to write. And it’s just as painful for you not to be able to express your unique gifts — especially when you know deep down that you’re not walking your true, authentic path. But take heart, that knowing you feel within you is not a problem — it’s an invitation.

You have the power to break through the barriers holding you back, reconnect with your soul’s true calling, and step into a life of meaning, passion, and fulfillment. No matter the season of life you're in, you can start taking steps to reawaken your inner wisdom and gain the clarity you need to confidently make changes. You can begin each day with a fire inside of you, excited and aligned, knowing that you’re making a profound impact in your life and in the lives of those around you. (Daily OM)

The Ego

In most spiritual circles, the ego gets a pretty bad rap. The reason for this is that the ego, to some extent, is the principle in our psyches that separates us from one another, while spirit is the principle that shows us that no such separation exists. Sometimes the ego is depicted as an almost demonic figure that keeps us from realizing our true nature. But at its most basic, the ego is simply a tool that helps us organize the various aspects of our personality so that we can function in the world. In this sense, the ego is simply a way for us to understand and attend to ourselves — at the same time as we understand and attend to the world around us. The ego is a tool that we use to navigate the world.

Perhaps, the problem is that the ego sometimes gets out of control. This happens when the higher self loses control of the psyche. The psyche then falls under the leadership of the ego, an entity that was never meant to lead. The ego is meant to be in the service of the higher self. When this relationship is functioning, the ego is a useful intermediary, representing the whole self but not thinking that it is the whole self. Then, it is almost as if the ego is the self playfully pretending to be the separate entity called “I.” Like an actor, the ego plays the roles that the world asks us to play in order to be part of the program. In this way, the ego can be a tool enabling us to be in the world but not of it.

As long as we are in touch with our higher self, our ego is not a threat. They are useful tools in the service of spirit. We keep our egos in check when we continually nurture our awareness of who we really are. Then our egos are free to serve without trying ineffectually to rule. It is healthy to have ego, but like all things in life, ego functions best when it is in balance and harmony with your whole self. (Daily OM)

Relief for Your Body and Mind

Stress and anxiety can show up every day — whether it’s balancing multiple priorities, family obligations, challenges at work, or financial worries that keep us up at night. Life moves fast, and it’s easy to feel like there’s no real pause button or chance to catch your breath. And while taking a moment just for you can feel easier said than done, there are holistic, stress-relieving techniques that can help restore balance to both your body and mind — even in the middle of a busy day.

For instance, a quick session of gentle movement can help your body release excess energy and return to a calmer state. Paced breathing can calm the nervous system and reduce emotional distress. And progressive fascia or muscle stretching can relieve aches and pains in the body and help you let go of the tension you might be holding.

What’s especially comforting is that these wellness methods don’t ask you to change who you are or overhaul your routine. Maybe you have a few minutes in the morning, or a quiet moment at the end of the day that belongs just to you. Adding even one new short, supportive practice can become an anchor — a reminder that calm, clarity, and care are still available to you, one day and one breath at a time....<<<Read More>>>...

Using Your Psychic Gifts

Psychic experiences are a natural part of our everyday lives. People often have difficulty accepting that they have been blessed with psychic abilities because without a frame of reference, it is almost impossible to identify an extrasensory experience and to distinguish psychic sights, sounds, and sensations from the projects of the unconscious mind. To some extent, every human being on the planet is clairvoyant, clairaudient, and clairsentient, although most people discover that they are naturally adept at one more than the others. When you trust in and take steps to hone your innate clairvoyance, clairaudience, and clairsentience, you will enter a new realm of being in which the universe, your higher self, and your spirit guides lovingly conduct you toward a more aware existence.

Clairvoyance, or clear seeing, is the ability to see with the mind’s eye. An individual who has honed their clairvoyant abilities may be able to see in their mind’s eye events in a remote location; to witness incidents that have yet to occur; or to perceive shapes, colors, and other images that are physically invisible. Clairaudience, which means clear listening, is the ability to hear sounds not physically audible. A person with the gift of clairaudience perceives psychic information as auditory resonance and may hear angelic voices, music, or other sounds. A clairsentient, or clear feeling, individual is able to sense physical, emotional, and spiritual energy in the form of seemingly unearthly scents, touches, and movements. Each of these psychic abilities can manifest themselves within us voluntarily or involuntarily. It is natural for us to have these abilities; we need only practice.

Developing your psychic talents is a matter of releasing your fear of seeing, hearing, or feeling inexplicable or disquieting stimulus. Before you attempt to consciously tap into your gifts, ground yourself to anchor your mind in the present so that you disconnect from any involuntary psychic experiences you may be having. Concentrate on your intuitive responses to the world around you, and notice any sights, sounds, or feelings that enter your mind. If you trust your perceptions, you’ll discover that each psychic impression you receive will be in some way relevant to your experience — even when that relevance may not be immediately recognizable. Brave Spirits

Most of us are familiar with the idea that we are not human beings having spiritual experiences; instead, we are spiritual beings having human experiences. We hear this, and even though we may experience a resounding yes in our bodies, we may not take the time to really acknowledge the truth of these statements. Integrating this idea into how we view ourselves can broaden our sense of who we are and help us appreciate ourselves as brave spirits on an important mission to learn and grow here on Earth.

As spiritual beings, we are visitors in this physical realm. The fact that we came here and lost all memory of what happened to us before we were born is one of the many reasons that it takes so much courage for a soul to incarnate on Earth. This is why spiritual inquiry so often feels like a remembering — because it is. Remembering that we are spiritual beings is part of the work that we are here on Earth to do. When we operate from a place of remembering, we tap into the wisdom that our spirit accumulated even before we stepped into this lifetime. Remembering who we are can give us the patience to persevere when we become overwhelmed or frustrated. It can give us the courage to work through the most daunting challenges and help us trust the ancient wisdom we carry through our intuition.

We have chosen to be on Earth because there is something we want to learn that can only happen by inhabiting a body. Some of us are here to repay a debt, learn about love, or teach forgiveness. Most of us are here for a combination of reasons. We carry this information in our souls — all we have to do is remember. As you go through your journey, try not to forget how brave you are, being here now. Honor yourself. (Daily OM)

Surrendering the Ego

Whenever a word is overused, it is most likely being misused, and over time, it begins to lose its meaningfulness. For example, we often refer to a fleeting feeling of depression or a period of confusion, as a dark night of the soul, but neither of these things qualifies as such. A dark night of the soul is a very specific experience that some people encounter on their spiritual journeys. There are people who never encounter a dark night of the soul, but others must endure this as part of the process of breaking through to the dawn of higher consciousness.

The dark night of the soul invites us to fully recognize the confines of our egos’ identity. We may feel as if we are trapped in a prison that affords us no access to light or the outside. We are coming from a place of higher knowing, and we may have spent a lot of time and energy reaching toward the light of higher consciousness. This is why the dark night has such a quality of despair. We are suddenly shut off from what we thought we had realized, and the emotional pain is very real. We may even begin to feel that it was all an illusion and that we are lost forever in this darkness.

The more we struggle, the darker things get — until finally we surrender to our not knowing what to do, how to think, and where to turn. It is from this place of losing our sense of control that the ego begins to crack or soften, and the possibility of light entering becomes real. Some of us will have to endure this process only once in our lives; while others may have to go through it many times. The great revelation of the dark night is the releasing of our old, false identity. We finally give up believing in this false self and thus become capable of owning and embracing the light.(Daily OM)

Consciously Reconnecting

There may be times when we feel like our connection to the universe is closed. Maybe things don’t seem to be going well in our day or our lives, or we may feel out of our element. The truth is, the universe is always there for us. We know that we create our experience with our thoughts, and this is another way we need to make a conscious decision about how we want to experience life. It is up to us to do the work of making the connection because nobody can do it for us. Though sometimes, the universe may send us wake-up calls.

You can think of it as getting some fresh air. We are always breathing, and the air is always around us, surrounding us and moving through us. But we may need to step outside of where we are in the moment — physically, mentally, or emotionally — and make the conscious choice to take a deep breath in order to feel the air coming in and going out.

A deep breath can bring us back to our center. As we inhale, we fill our bodies with the oxygen needed to replenish our most basic physical needs, allowing the air to circulate within us. Exhaling, we release the stale, the used, the potentially toxic air, removing any blocks that may keep us from going deeper into the stillness that lies at our center where we connect to the universe. Feeling closed off does not need to be a negative experience. When we become conscious of it, we can think of the wholeness of a closed circuit, which allows electricity to connect and flow properly. Our bodies work the same way, and when we make that connection in our minds, it can help bring us back to the connection we seek....<<<Read More>>>...

Do You Respond or React?

We’ve all had those moments when a conversation suddenly shifts and becomes hard. Maybe someone’s words sting or a tone changes, and suddenly, you feel it in your body — your chest tightens, your heart races, and it feels like you can’t quite find your voice. Sometimes we lash out; other times we retreat into silence. After the encounter is over, we wish we had been able to stay steady and speak from a place of kindness and clarity instead of fear. It’s such a tender human experience, and it happens to us all.

The truth is: There’s always a small space — a pause — between what happens and how we choose to respond. In that pause lives our freedom. If we can take even one gentle breath before we speak, we give ourselves the chance to soften, to notice what’s really happening inside, and to choose words that build bridges instead of walls. That little moment of presence can open the door to greater honesty, understanding, and connection.

And here’s something beautiful — with practice, we can get better at this. Little by little, we can learn to bring more calm, courage, and compassion into all our conversations. Even the most difficult moments can become opportunities to grow closer, heal, and share more of who we truly are. Every word becomes a chance to bring more love into the world — and that’s a gift we can give, again and again....<<<Daily OM>>>....

Turning to Ancestors for Guidance

Many entities assume the role of spirit guide. Throughout our lives, we may call upon angels, animal and nature spirits, ascended masters, and celestial guardians for aid, protection, and support. Our ancestors represent another wellspring from whom we may draw wisdom in times of need. Since our forebears spent at least one lifetime experiencing the tribulations that are a part of human existence, their perspective is a uniquely grounded one. Ancestral spirit guides can empathize with our fears, frailties, worries, temptations, and feelings of insecurity.

If your relationship with your relatives was strained when they were earthbound or you feel disconnected from your heritage, the thought of asking your ancestors for aid can be disconcerting. But when the soul takes on its spirit form, it becomes pure light. Your ancestors, regardless of who or what they were in life, are monitoring your life’s journey because you are their progeny and they want to see you do your best. You can communicate with them directly, as well as through meditation, your dreams, or the written word. Creating an altar or shrine that displays images of your forebears or objects owned by them can help you connect with individual ancestors. The guidance they provide may take many forms, as each ancestral spirit guide retains its individual identity and will thus have its own style of communication. If your ancestors do not speak to you directly or visit you in your dreams, examine your life to determine whether they are replying to your queries subconsciously.

When you make contact with your forebears, thank them for being a part of the web of intent that gave you life. Honoring their wisdom and experience can make your life seem larger and richer. Like other spirit guides, your ancestors won’t interfere with your choices or attempt to deprive you of free will. They will give their best to answer your questions and provide you with all the love, aid, and guidance you ask for in order to help you evolve as an individual. (Daily OM)
