Starmer issues ultimatum to technology companies to implement client-side scanning; this is the end of online privacy

Starmer has issued a three-month ultimatum for major technology firms to implement client-side scanning; so that all content on all digital devices sold or used in the UK can be scanned using a dystopian combination of age verification and content scanning.

Client-side scanning is a surveillance technique that analyses content on a user’s device before encryption. And, if the Government succeeds, it marks the end of online privacy – for everyone.

Signal has issued a statement on the UK government’s demand. “This proposal will not safeguard children. It endangers us all,” Signal says.

Age verification is spreading worldwide. It is a Trojan horse for limiting access to content that they do not wish the public to see. We need to look no further than what the UK government is doing worldwide under the pretence of keeping children safe online.

In July 2025, provisions in the Online Safety Act 2023 (“OSA”) were enacted, introducing age verification checks for online content. Using these new rules, just a week after they were implemented, a variety of content unrelated to children’s safety was already being censored.

“British people are being forced by the state to verify their age and hand over personal information to view political news about their own country. It is the sort of thing for which British diplomats would castigate third-world or tyrannical governments, but there seems to be little awareness of the danger of this law among our own governing class,” The Critic said in the week after the new rules began....<<<Read More>>>...

The ugly and the uglier of digitalisation

British speech regulator Ofcom has opened a formal investigation into Telegram under the Online Safety Act, alongside probes into teen chat sites Teen Chat and Chat Avenue.

Russian President Vladimir Putin has finally said out loud what the Kremlin has been doing for months. Mobile internet can be switched off across Russian cities whenever security services want it switched off, and ordinary people will be told about it afterwards, if at all.

The UK Biobank, a medical research project, experienced a data breach where the genetic sequences, medical scans and lifestyle records of 500,000 volunteers were listed for sale on Alibaba.

The breach was caused by three Chinese academic institutions that downloaded the dataset from the UK Biobank’s research platform, which was supposed to have strict access controls, and then uploaded it to Alibaba.

According to Professor Luc Rocher, this is the 198th known exposure of UK Biobank data since last summer, and the data remains available online for anyone to download.

France’s national ID card portal, operated by France Titres, was hacked, resulting in the potential sale of 18-19 million records, representing roughly a third of France’s population. The portal is also used by French residents to apply for passports, residence permits, driver’s licenses and vehicle registrations.

Login credentials, full names, email addresses, dates of birth, unique account identifiers, postal addresses, places of birth, and phone numbers may all have been extracted. That combination is a starter kit for identity fraud, synthetic identity construction, and convincing phishing attacks against people who already expect email from French government domains....<<<Read More>>>...

Will Your Phone Allow You to Read This Article?

How old are you? Sorry to ask such a personal question but I need to check you are old enough to read this article. I can’t remember the last time I was asked if I was old enough for anything, so it was a shock when I was asked last week. But not by a person, by my phone, just after it automatically installed the Apple iOS 26.4 update. It was more than asking, it needed verification: ID, credit cards, the usual list. Why? We all know why, don’t we? Or do we?

Let’s start with what is and is not changing. The most recent iOS update on iPhones and iPads in the UK asks the owner to log in to their Apple account (which means they identify themselves), then “Confirm You are 18+”. It explains why: “to change content restrictions”, so it complies with GDPR (you must plainly state your purpose for requesting personal data) and you cannot just self-certify an affirmative answer, you need to offer what in digital ID circles is known as a verifiable credential: your Apple account, a credit card or government issued ID card. This looks like a requirement from the UK Online Safety Act which requires “highly effective” age verification. You do get the option to not confirm (again keeping it GDPR compliant) in which case you will find in your phone’s settings that the content and privacy restrictions that default to OFF are instead now ON and the web content setting has been set to “Limit Adult Websites”. If you try to change that you will be prompted again to confirm your age. Choosing to not confirm your age and not being able to do so for whatever reason end up with the same status: you cannot access ‘adult’ content on the web. There ain’t no way round it other than verifying your 18+ status. Forget VPNs and forget “privacy preserving” browsers such as DuckDuckGo, Brave or even Tor.

What is going on? Clearly there is a political aspect to this but as this is an article from your IT correspondent let’s start with the tech. How can it affect all browsers, especially ones not supplied by Apple? Despite appearances to the contrary, there are only really three web browsers: Blink with 70% market share which you may know better as Chrome, Edge, Opera or Brave; Gecko from Mozilla in the form of Firefox and finally WebKit, presented as Safari. But on Apple mobile devices outside the EU, Apple mandates all browsers to use their WebKit WKWebView API for rendering and JavaScript. That means Chrome, Firefox, DuckDuckGo even Tor on your iPhone render web pages just the same as Safari under the covers. That gives Apple mobile devices a unique pinch point where all web content can be filtered and the 26.4 update uses it. This pinch point is only on Apple mobile devices, so not in its desktops and of course not in the non-Apple Android, Windows or Linux eco systems....<<<Read More>>>...

If you have de-Googled your phone, the EU’s age verification rules will exclude you from using all apps for all services

In late June, the European Union launched a pilot project to test a prototype age verification app in five member states: Denmark, France, Greece, Italy and Spain.  The excuse?  To protect children online.

The app is built on the technical specifications of the upcoming European Digital Identity Wallet and is designed to be open-source, user-friendly and secure.  However, as Take Back Our Tech notes, it is less secure than other options. Additionally, age verification can only be made using Google-approved Android devices or on iPhones, effectively requiring a Google or Apple account.

What this means is: If you are in the European Union and have de-Googled your phone, you will not be able to verify your age...<<<Read More>>>...

WHO proposes permanent tech alliance to shape health narratives, sparking debates over censorship and behavioral control

The World Health Organization (WHO) is advancing a bold plan to institutionalize its digital health messaging through a permanent alliance with Silicon Valley giants like Meta, aiming to normalize pandemic-era levels of collaboration and narrative control. Andy Pattison, WHO’s Team Lead for Digital Channels, recently lamented the decline in tech industry cooperation since global health restrictions eased and proposed the creation of a “health online collective” to sustain crisis-level coordination.

This initiative, designed to permanently embed partnerships between global health authorities and tech companies, has reignited concerns among health freedom advocates and dissenting voices about the erosion of free speech and the prioritization of behavioral manipulation over genuine public discourse.

The proposal envisions a system where unified health messaging—shaped by partnerships with Meta, Google and other platforms—is disseminated year-round via algorithmic promotion, influencer networks and restricted content moderation. While WHO officials frame it as a tool to combat misinformation and improve public health outcomes, critics warn it risks entrenching censorship, narrowing scientific debate and sidelining alternative health approaches like natural medicine...<<<Read More>>>....

The “Real World Asset” Digital Plan Takeover Will Concentrate Power Over Everything on Earth in the Hands of the Few

Conversations and debate are forever constant concerning the fate of this country and the world, but since most all of this population is consumed by indifference, dependency, technological insanity, and cowardice, the people go along just as was described by Hermann Goring about the masters (rulers) they alone allow to exist.

In this totalitarian digital age that is rapidly advancing to levels not imagined in the past, it is prudent to listen to what Einstein prophesied long ago when he said; “I fear the day that technology will surpass our human interaction. The world will have a generation of idiots.”

That time has already arrived, and in fact, is now far into the second generation of idiots, (and many more) and it is fast becoming the mainstay of most all communication and social interaction taking place in what once was a more closely-knit society bound by a more harmonious reaction to each other.

The plot at hand here should now be obvious, but apparently it is not, which is no surprise to me, as I have watched, studied, and researched the reaction of Americans to the all-out tyranny that has now taken over this population for several decades, and come to the stark conclusion that most all desire to be willing slaves to this worthless and evil governing system.

While a continuous string of distractions under the guise of emergencies, manipulated weather events, acts of war and genocide, fake ‘viruses,’ idiotic ‘woke’ madness, trans insanity, poisonous and deadly chemtrails, glyphosate, and other intentionally delivered toxins, monetary, debt, economic suicide, among many other threats and fake threats, have inundated this country, but the most likely scenario that will bring about a completely enslaved society is being mostly ignored.

This threat, which is very real, is the linchpin in the globalist plot to digitize every single asset on earth, leading to the collapse and/or purposeful destruction of this economic and monetary system that is now so riddled with astronomical debt, that nothing can save it. This ruling system’s nefarious efforts to claim ownership of everything on earth is the direct result of all that has been plotted and designed by this government and its masters to date.

This totalitarian and technocratic plot of total control is already well underway, but many, including most of the so-called alternative media, are quick to attempt to dispel any notion that would lend credibility to the fact that this attempt to monetize every asset and property on earth is going forward at what seems to be breakneck speed....<<<Read More>>>...

The path to digital ID mandates: How social media regulation could reshape online privacy

In a rapidly evolving digital landscape, the push for stricter social media regulations is gaining traction across the United States. Connecticut, Nebraska and Utah are at the forefront of this movement, with proposed legislation that aims to curb the influence of social media on minors.

While these measures are framed as necessary steps to protect children, they also represent a significant shift toward mandatory digital ID systems. This shift could have far-reaching consequences for online privacy and personal freedom, raising critical questions about the future of the internet...<<<Read More>>>...

The UK government and corporate media’s blatant propaganda in an attempt to convince the public that digital IDs will benefit them

The UK government, led by Prime Minister Keir Starmer, is intensifying its push for a digital identity system, with the launch of the Office for Digital Identities and Attributes and its Digital Identity and Attributes Trust Framework (“DIATF”).

The government and media are promoting digital identity as a convenient and efficient solution, with Tony Blair and other proponents touting its potential benefits, but ignoring concerns about privacy and potential risks.

The digital ID system could lead to increased surveillance and control and is likely to be tied to Central Bank Digital Currencies (CBDCs), which would require a government-backed digital identity system.

After avoiding the issue for years, the legacy media are now trying to manufacture public complacency and consent for the government’s digital identity – and by extension, CBDC – agenda.

On 5 July, the day Keir Starmer became UK prime minister, we wagered that a Starmer government would intensify the push to roll out a digital identity system in the UK – a country that has, until now, resisted all recent attempts to introduce an identity card system, including, most notably, by Starmer’s backroom consultant and mentor, Tony Blair.

Unfortunately, that prediction has proven to be pretty much on the money. Since taking office, the Starmer government has:

Launched the new Office for Digital Identities and Attributes, with the task of overseeing the country’s digital ID market. As of 28 October, almost 50 organisations with DIATF-certified services had been added to the office’s register.

Pledged to roll out a digital ID card for army veterans. As in the US, the UK government is also looking to launch a digital driving license by next year.

Announced plans to introduce digital ID legislation for age verification purposes, meaning that young people will soon be able to use digital ID wallets on their phones to prove they are over 18 when visiting pubs, restaurants and shops....<<<Read More>>>...

The digital surveillance and control agenda quietly marches forwards

India is pursuing the transformation of public finance using digital IDs and biometrics. Scotland updates its guidance on the use of biometrics in schools. Russia’s largest bank is leading the way in a new financial system which uses a biometric payment service. Canada launches a biometric border management tool. Israel extends its wartime emergency biometric measures.

In Europe, digital wallets are gaining traction. In the UK, there are warnings of Christmas gifts, smart devices, being used for state-sponsored hacking, particularly from China.

Meanwhile in the USA, concerns are being raised about the FDA and DEA deploying artificial intelligence (“AI”) and personal electronic data being compromised. Also in the USA, mobile driver’s licenses are expected to become mainstream next year....<<<Read More>>>...

Bank of England set to introduce Digital Pound, pushing citizens toward a future of surveillance and control

As life in the United Kingdom descends to the kind of oligarchical tyranny that once marred its landscape, the Bank of England is set to roll out the digital pound, a central bank digital currency (CBDC) that promises to be the ultimate surveillance tool. This move, coupled with the UK government's recent publication of its National Payments Vision, marks a significant step toward a financial system where every transaction is meticulously recorded, monitored, and controlled.

The Bank of England’s claims of "privacy, not anonymity" ring hollow in the face of the massive data collection that will be enabled by the digital pound. According to the BoE-MIT paper, "Enhancing the Privacy of a Digital Pound," the digital currency will still allow for the collection and accessibility of payment and identity data by law enforcement and other authorities. The government's assurance that this data will be regulated under legislation is little solace, given the potential for abuse and data breaches.

The implementation of privacy-enhancing technologies (PETs) like pseudonymization and zero-knowledge proofs may provide some semblance of security, but these measures are fraught with their own set of risks.

The UK government’s intention to continue the design phase for the digital pound is not just a technical endeavor but a deliberate move to build a society where independent financial transactions are increasingly monitored and restricted. The very idea that individuals would have more control over their data is absurd, given the central bank's direct access and the inevitable dependencies on government-mandated systems...<<<Read More>>>...

U.K. set to launch controversial DIGITAL ID system in 2025, sparking privacy concerns

The United Kingdom is set to roll out a digital identification system in 2025.

The new initiative, which will utilize smartphones and facial recognition technology, aims to streamline various government functions, from purchasing alcohol and accessing veteran services to paying taxes and accessing bank accounts.

According to government sources, the digital ID system, available through certified companies, will allow individuals to prove their age and identity instantly when entering pubs, clubs and shops, as well as for various online transactions.

The technology promises more efficient service delivery, particularly for veterans, who will gain quicker access to support programs through digital veteran cards.

"Young people will be able to use government-backed digital ID cards to prove they are old enough to drink alcohol under legal changes to take effect next year," the Telegraph said in a report Sunday, Dec. 8. "They will be able to sign up to digital ID companies that are certified against Government-set standards for security and reliability and then use the app on their smartphone to prove they are over 18 when visiting pubs, restaurants and shops. It is part of a wider effort to move more state functions online so that people can prove their identity for everything from paying taxes to opening a bank account using the government-backed app."

Critics, however, have raised significant concerns over the potential for state overreach and the creation of a two-tiered society. David Kurten, leader of the U.K. Heritage Party, warns that the program could eventually become mandatory, leading to a scenario where those without digital IDs face discrimination and barriers in accessing services.

Another point of contention is the potential for the government to remotely disable digital IDs, effectively barring individuals from essential activities if they are deemed to have violated unspecified norms. Critics liken this to social credit systems, which they claim can be used to monitor and control citizen behavior....<<<Read More>>>...

Here's how sinister the Deep State 'blob' censorship operation really is

 "Americans are subsidizing their silence."

The man who uttered those words is Mike Benz, a former U.S. State Department boss who now strenuously advocates for digital freedom before The Blob, as he calls the deep state, completely controls every aspect of American life with its Censorship Industrial Complex. That complex doesn't exist as an entity but does in reality.

The censorship mechanisms we now see on a daily basis in our Google searches, wildly one-sided "news" coverage, and the consolidation of speech codes into full-fledged and sometimes violent censorship on campuses across the nation are the outgrowth of U.S. State Department censorship programs enacted in 2016 after a new bubble of worldwide populism erupted. It marked the point when all of the mechanisms the U.S. employed against our enemies were turned on the American people....<<<Read More>>>...

Say goodbye to your privacy: Use of digital IDs in American states is spreading rapidly

More and more states in the U.S. are implementing digital ID systems, raising more concerns that these digital systems could turn into backdoors for government surveillance and erode personal privacy.

At least eight states already have state-sponsored apps where people can store their digital IDs. These include the Mobile ID app in Arizona, Delaware, Mississippi and Oklahoma and the myColorado app, which provides proof of identification, age and address anywhere in Colorado.

In Louisiana, the LA Wallet serves as the state-sponsored app for storing digital driver's licenses and is considered legal for driving purposes and accepted by state law enforcement in lieu of a physical driver's license.

In Maryland, the Maryland Mobile ID app is a "voluntary, secure, digitized version" of the state-issued driver's license. Utah also has a state-sponsored digital driver's license app known as Get Mobile...<<<Read More>>>...

Extreme Censorship of Truth by Fascist Government and Private Partnerships: A Death Warrant to Freedom

First and foremost, let it be known that even this very essay will be censored and algorithmically hidden from view, by the multitude of government pay-rolled employees and ‘private’ tech companies whose mission in life is to make sure that the plotted State narratives are all that are seen by the lowly proletariat class. I know this from firsthand experience, as over the past three years, finding my articles on a normal internet search has become very difficult. I fully understand that my modest site is not relevant to the big picture by any standard, but if my work is being censored, then most everything of value concerning the actual truth is certainly being heavily censored as well.

The State narrative has replaced the truth at almost every level possible, due to military grade artificial intelligence, algorithmic manipulation, mass. media collusion, and government restriction and regulation control measures. The most recent example of this atrocious silencing of free speech, has been the U.S. Senate’s RESTRICT Act (S-686),  which is ultimately so much more dangerous than will ever be explained by any government agent or bureaucracy,  mainstream media, or any fascist technological entity partnering with the State. It was written under the deceitful guise once again, of protecting the assumed ‘weak and stupid public’ from national security threats due to any release of information that could possibly get into the hands of any so-called foreign enemy. This, as described, by the real enemy of this country, the U.S. government, all its members, all its enforcement arms, its controlled media, and all the corporate and communication companies in bed with this totalitarian governing system.

This total censorship insanity is aimed at all internet publications that are exposing reality and truth, and is using TicToc as the scapegoat in order to censor, heavily restrict speech, and shut down all criticism and dissent, by claiming of course a ‘China’ connection. This is simply the U.S. Patriot Act model, being used as a way to control all speech by controlling all  internet communication and reporting. These efforts have been growing exponentially since the 9/11 false flag hoax, but were expanded beyond reason due to the long-plotted fake ‘covid pandemic’ fraud. This is just the latest attempt by this heinous governing structure to silence all of us. In other words, people openly discussing issues via any form of speech, is considered by the controlling elite and its governing system, as a direct threat to its power structure. Therefore, a censorship war is being waged by this government, its enforcement arms, and its partners, against that segment of the  American population concerned with liberty...<<<Read More>>>....

Skynet rising: Why CBDCs must be terminated before they go live

“Money” is no more than a medium of exchange. If we cooperate in sufficient numbers, we could create an economy based upon an entirely voluntary monetary system. We don’t need banks to control our exchange transactions and modern Distributed Ledger Technology (DLT) has made voluntary exchange on a global scale entirely feasible.

We contrasted the true nature of “money” with the proposed Central Bank Digital Currencies. CBDC is being rolled out across the world by a global public-private partnership . What we call money is actually fiat currency conjured out of thin air by central and commercial banks. Even so, CBDC is nothing like “money” as we currently understand it.

Prior to the pseudopandemic, fiat currency circulated in a split-monetary circuit. Only commercial banks could access a type of money called “central bank reserves” or “base money.” In late 2019, the global financial institution BlackRock introduced a monetary plan that advocated “going direct” in order “to get central bank money directly in the hands of public and private sector spenders.”

We discussed how the idea of putting “central bank money” directly into the hands of “private sector spenders” is precisely what that new CBDC based IMFS is designed to achieve. But CBDC will accomplish far more for the global parasite class than merely revamp its failing “debt” based IMFS.

If it is universally adopted, CBDC will afford the bankers complete control over the our daily lives. The surveillance grid will be omnipresent and every aspect of our lives will be engineered....<<<Read More>>>...

How The U.S. Government Works With Big Tech To Censor Information On Social Media

One of the latest explorations of censorship comes from The Intercept who revealed internal Department of Homeland Security documents that confirm their plans to continue censoring opinions about COVID-19, “racial justice,” and US support for Ukraine going forward. Their documents effectively show that the government agencies work to control American public discourse online.

One of their major revelations is that tech companies – including Twitter, Facebook, Reddit, Discord, Wikipedia, Microsoft and LinkedIn – met with the FBI and other government agencies every month, before and since the 2020 election to talk about this. Facebook even set up a special portal for “takedowns” that requires a law enforcement email to access.

One of the authors of The Intercept report, Lee Fang, tweeted the following on Monday,

Facebook and Twitter created special portals for the government to rapidly request takedowns of content. The portals, along with NGO partners used to censor a wide range of content, including obvious parody accounts and content disagreeing w gov pandemic policy. pic.twitter.com/Jth0WUfXAI— Lee Fang (@lhfang) October 31, 2022

The recent COVID pandemic is a great example of how this partnership was likely in place. During the pandemic, any science showing that natural immunity to COVID-19 was quite robust was subjected to this type of censorship. Scientists and scientific papers were met with “fact checks” or content removals on emerging and evolving topics that were not actually false. If their findings did not align with Big Government, they were shut down....<<<Read More>>>....

Amidst Questions Of Stolen Election, Macron Launches Digital Identity App

The French government has announced the creation of a new digital identity app for citizens to access private and public services, in line with a broader push for digital identity systems in Europe.

Just days after the re-election of globalist President Emmanuel Macron, the Ministry of the Interior has announced that it will be crafting a smartphone application to house a new digital identity.

The biometric app, which is based off the new identity card, was signed off in a decree by Prime Minister Jean Castex and Interior Minister Gérald Darmanin on Tuesday.

The app will allow users to scan their physical identity card and it will be uploaded to be used to access public or private services.

The new system comes in place of the previous attempt by the government in 2019 to implement a digital identity. Dubbed the Alicem, the proposed system proved controversial and was ultimately scrapped over backlash over the use of facial recognition and fingerprints, broadcaster BFMTV reported.

The new digital identity will not record such personal features, however, it will contain details such as names, date of birth, a photo, and both email and physical addresses.

According to the government, the application “allows the user, in particular, to generate electronic certificates containing only the identity attributes whose transmission he considers necessary to third parties of his choice”...<<<Read More>>>...

Technocracy Ahead, Digital ID Is Set To Control Your Life

[David Icke]: While not officially described as such, the system is a “de facto social credit system,” the authors say. It’s sold to the public as the key access point to government services, but it also tracks users’ geolocation, employment and purchasing habits.

Indians have no choice but to submit to this invasive surveillance in order to access government services and assistance programs, such as food rations. As you might expect from such a behemoth database, there are glitches, and in India, such glitches have proven deadly. Loffredo and Blumenthal explain:2

“The death by starvation of Etwariya Devi, a 67-year-old widow from the rural Indian state of Jharkhand, might have passed without notice had it not been part of a more widespread trend.

Like 1.3 billion of her fellow Indians, Devi had been pushed to enroll in a biometric digital ID system called Aadhaar in order to access public services, including her monthly allotment of 25kg of rice.

When her fingerprint failed to register with the shoddy system, Devi was denied her food ration. Throughout the course of the following three months in 2017, she was repeatedly refused food until she succumbed to hunger, alone in her home.

Premani Kumar, a 64-year-old woman also from Jharkhand, met the same demise as Devi, dying of hunger and exhaustion the same year after the Aadhaar system transferred her pension payments to another person without her permission, while cutting off her monthly food rations.

A similarly cruel fate was reserved for Santoshi Kumari, an 11-year-old girl, also from Jharkhand, who reportedly died begging for rice after her family’s ration card was canceled because it had not been linked to their Aadhaar digital ID.

These three heart-rending casualties were among a spate of deaths in rural India in 2017 which came as a direct result of the Aadhaar digital ID system.”

The Science Of Propaganda Is Still Being Developed And Advanced

[Waking Times]: We live in a far less free society than most of us think.

It looks like we’re free. We don’t get thrown in prison for criticizing our government officials. We can vote for whoever we want. We can log onto the internet and look up information on any subject we’re interested in. If we want to buy a product we have many brands we are free to choose from.

But we’re not free. Our political systems are set up to herd people into a two-party system that is controlled on both sides by plutocrats. The news media that people rely on to form ideas about what’s going on and how they should vote are controlled by the plutocratic class and heavily influenced by secretive government agencies. Internet algorithms are aggressively manipulated to show people information which favors the status quo. Even our entertainment is rife with Pentagon and CIA influence.

How free is that? How free is your speech if there are myriad institutional safeguards in place to prevent speech from ever effecting political change?

It doesn’t matter what you’re allowed to say if it doesn’t matter what you say. It doesn’t matter if you’re allowed to call the oligarchic puppet put in office by the last fake election a dickhead. It doesn’t matter if you’re allowed to Google any information you want only to find whatever information Google wants you to find.

What is the functional difference between a regime which directly censors the internet to prevent dissent and a regime which works with Silicon Valley plutocrats to control information via algorithms and has a system in place which prevents dissent from having any meaningful impact?

There is none....<<<Read More>>>...
