A top US scientist claims to have discovered evidence of an afterlife, thanks to studies involving millions of patients who've had near-death experiences.

According to Dr Sam Parnia, an associate professor of medicine at New York University’s Langone Medical Center, patients who are resuscitated after their heart stops frequently recount re-living 'every single moment of their lives'.

Beyond the Brink: A Mother’s Journey to the Afterlife and Back

 In 2021, a 43-year-old woman from Vancouver, Canada, named Amber Cavanagh suffered two strokes and was airlifted to the hospital.

On the way, she began losing consciousness and overheard the nurses telling her children that they might never see their mother alive again. What Lives On? Investigating Life After Death

Do we survive the death of our physical bodies? Is there such a thing as a postmortem continuation of the individual? If there is survival, what survives? Does everyone survive? What does it even mean to survive?

Answers to these questions are central to the dogmas of many religions. These same issues are amongst the most refractory when addressed using the techniques of scientific inquiry: data gathering, hypothesis formulation and testing, logical analyses. Indeed, such topics are generally viewed as outside the scope of scientific inquiry, not worth serious thought. As Bertrand Russell commented, “most people would die sooner than think – in fact, they do so.”

Serious study of psychical and paranormal phenomena dates back to at least 1882, the year when the Society for Psychical Research was founded. At that time, and right up to the present day, some psychical researchers have interpreted some of the phenomena they study as being communications from deceased persons or discarnate (non-bodily) entities. Indeed, among many people the prime interest in psychical studies is to establish the possibility of an afterlife.

What Happens When You Die?

Firstly, the run-up to death, how you die, is indeed concerning. How much pain and suffering will you endure before you die? However, a healthy approach along the way in mind, body, and spirit before death may well lessen the pain and suffering or even create the ideal circumstance where you just go to sleep, never to wake up again…

Consider the deaths of highly advanced spiritual beings such as yogis, Zen masters, or shamans who have died in this circumstance.

If you have a level of awareness and look into your intuitive heart, you will know when you’re soon to die, as have a number of these yogis, shamans, and Zen masters…

Contrary to much fearmongering spun by many in religion, folklore, news, and society… death is really nothing to fear. Death is a transition as you move on.

Insights Into 'The Other Side'

PART ONE of an Insightful Account Of The Spirit World written by Matthew James

A conversation with a client earlier this evening inspired me for this particular post. During the sitting, my client asked me to describe just where her late Father was residing 'on the other side'. Her Father had only recently made the transition from the Earth Plane ... and luckily I'd made a contact complete with personal information which was the validation I required to have the connection confirmed. Telepathically, I had posed the question to my client's Father and the other relations who were in attendance during the reading. 

What I received back as clear mental images as well as strong emotional insights ... was almost identical to what my own late Father had described to me; as well as a multitude of other 'departed' souls who were only eager to let me know they'd survived the transition during numerous sittings in the recent past. There appears to be a general consensus on their side of life, at this time, to really impress this imagery as much as they can.

Firstly, I get the recurrent impression, that they firmly believe it is US NOT THEM who have died. This is a regular insight from 'our dearly departed'. This impression has been shared previously on A Light In The Darkness. They remind me that we are the ones who are suffering with monetary woes, starvation, fears, addictions, murders, rapes and other atrocities. Once they have cleared themselves of the strong need to 'remain earthbound' ... they are able to venture into dimensions which are indescribable to human awareness. Dimensions which are clearly for expanded consciousness and not 'dead humans'. The strong impression is that remaining earthbound is undertaken by souls who are unable to shake off their concerns for those they were once associated to on the earth; or from their associations with the earth ... through fear, reprisal and other human emotions. Eventually even these ties fade and most move on.

Secondly, I must shatter the myth that the spirit world comprises beings of bright lights and fluffy clouds!! We merely see those who have left this world as light, because their forms exist outside of our light frequency range. We see only white light ... but there is much more beyond it. 

The biggest single revelation that is shared with me ... is that the departed souls have A PHYSICAL FORM. It is similar to the need on the physical earth to wear a form. Except their form vibrates much faster than ours and exists outside our light frequency range. Initially the departed will posses a physical form that matches that of their recent excursion on Earth. They will still succumb to the bodily needs of their earthly form ... food, drink etc etc. Plus experience the physical ailments they were blighted with on Earth. But gradually those needs will feed as they increase the vibration of their consciousness and move their awareness away from the earth plane vibrations.

I have not been able to determine what their primary energy source is other than solar energy. But I sense it is something much more and nobody is prepared to tell me! I know not if they have internal organs like we do but I would imagine that reality of internal organs will fade as they move away from our dimension. I know their forms do become interchangeable and they can shape shift. This explains why they are able to represent themselves at any point in their physical lives to those on the earth plane.

Thirdly, so many have conceded to me that they observe activity on the earth plane. They may be invisible to us on the earth ... but they do see and hear and feel everything we do. Their heart centres are very much in open mode, so they will feel what we feel. I was informed they see everything perfectly much like we do when we look through our eyes. The major difference being they do not have a physical body as a reference point ... thus they will not see arms and legs and bodies in their vision. They will merely witness the surroundings as an observer. 

Their entry point onto the earth plane appears to be something similar to what we describe as portals or wormholes. I sense we may be seeing entry points when we capture true orb activity. 

The revelation that is us on earth who are dead is the biggest reverberation in my mind ... it suggests we are all deceived on earth. That certain information is withheld from us ... our true nature! The possibility we are in REVIEW MODE at this point in our evolution doesn't bear thinking about. Some outside force appears to be tampering with a natural universal process by preventing our realisation that this is death ... thus when we 'die' and journey to the next 'hall' which should be the hall of reincarnation ... we are somehow being deceived to come back to the hall of review ... instead of venturing out into 'true life'. Interestingly, I deduce that most mediumship connections come from 'the halls of reincarnation'. I also recall so many insights and connections that have come from 'beyond the spirit world' ... inexplicable connections that are nothing like anything I had experienced before. Is the Afterlife What We Think It Is? A Challenge from NDE Studies

 There are millions of stories now of near-death experiences from around the world; each a snippet, a teaser, of what appears to exist on the other side of death.

Physicist Who Had A Near-death Experience Now Explores The Afterlife

 One San Francisco scientist who’s spent decades contemplating the conundrums of physics has turned his attention to the enigma of human consciousness, reports www.theepochtimes.com

Dr. Alan Ross Hugenot holds a doctorate of science in mechanical engineering, and has had a successful career in marine engineering, serving on committees that write the ship-building standards for the United States. He studied physics and mechanical engineering at the Oregon Institute of Technology.

But also central to his work is the study of the afterlife following a near-death experience (or NDE) after a motorcycle accident in his younger years.

“I did things using Newtonian physics to create ships,” he said, “but the whole time, I knew better. Will I Survive? A Look at the Afterlife

[Waking Times]: What happens when we die? Human beings have asked this question probably more than any other, with “Does God exist?” and “What is the meaning of life?” coming in as close seconds.

All three, of course, are intertwined, but while the reality of the deity and the solution to life’s riddle may be grasped in the here and now, what happens when we give up the ghost seems to be something we can know only by doing just that. Why We Don't Remember

[Daily OM]: Many of us wonder why we do not remember who we were before we were born. We wonder what it was like to be a soul without a body and what it will be like to be one again.

Many of us have a strange sense that we do remember, as if we did experience a bodiless existence, but we can't quite recall the details. We may remember feeling as if we were flying, or as if we were just incredibly light and unrestricted in our movements.

Still, most of us do not recall anything in detail about the time before we incarnated into a human body.

There are many possible reasons for this deep forgetting, one of which is that remembering would probably impinge upon our ability to fully commit to this life.

Thoughts On Life After Death – Does ‘Consciousness’ Survive When We Die?

[Collective Evolution]: Ancient wisdom and teachings have been 'proven' right with regards to quantum physics, neuroscience and health in many different ways. Would the same apply to life after death? Can we ever really know?

With over 100 years of research into the nature of death and survival of consciousness, a more sophisticated way of looking at the evidence seems to be emerging. Based on a number of interviews and wide reading, Lance Butler outlines a new understanding based on science as well as spiritual experience.

During the last twenty or thirty years, too, things have moved forward slowly, but the feeling one still gets reading the main summarising or investigative texts in the field – say Gary Schwartz’s The Afterlife Experiments of 2003 or David Fontana’s Is There An Afterlife? of 2005 – is that the paradigm has remained unchanged. If we put together, for instance, recent examples of mediumship, the NDE material collected since Raymond Moody’s Life after Life of 1975, the ITC evidence (by definition modern), and Scole we find that although it constitutes more evidence, it is roughly the same kind of evidence as it was thirty-five or, in the case of mediumship, a hundred-and-thirty-five years ago.

Fontana, for instance, is able freely to cite nineteenth-century material, stories from the 1920s and 1940s, research from the 1960s, his own experience of poltergeists from the 1980s and the Scole material from around 2000. It all fits quite well; it all adds up to an interesting case for Survival; and it’s still there. One of the strongest arguments for Survival seems to be the fact that, in spite of modern scepticism and modern analytical and investigative techniques, Life after Death hasn’t simply gone away like Phlogiston theory or Geocentrism or Phrenology or bloodletting. Plenty Of Questions - But No Answers

I came across an article on social media this evening that talked about scientists discovering that we don't die after we leave this body; we in fact go back to the universe; the article stated that the brain works like a quantum computer and works after we die. 

Finally, scientists that are looking in the right direction and coming up with the correct insights.

However, this still doesn't explain why we come 'here' in the first place; where we come from; and how this process works. Those are still the huge mysteries for us goyim at the foot of the great pyramid. Oh to be able to confer with those at the very peak of the great pyramid who know these answers. For there will be 'living humans' who do know these answers. I don't believe mankind is the completely ignorant creature it is made out to be. The ignorance only applies to us in the shadows at the foot of it all.

Someone owns this simulated world; some others battle with this owner for supremacy and ultimate ownership of us humans. Why? Who? Is it a battle between Archon lords? Effectively a war between aritificial intelligences? Or are there other sentient races involved here? Is there a sentient race trying to bargain or fight for our freedom? Or are we destined to be prisoners for eternity? What condemns us to keep returning as mere observers to this simulated world?

Plenty of questions. But no answers. No truths. Just plenty of unanswered assumptions.

A Brief Interlude - Different Types Of DNA

Remember ... everything that you think; taste; feel; see; hear is being recorded into your DNA. The DNA is crystalline just like the crystaline Silicon in microchips. Everything that is you is being uploaded into your DNA and is creating the Memory Body you become when you leave this wavelength frequency (Die) ...

All that you have ever been is stored in your 'spiritual DNA' ... and this is being downloaded into your 'soul DNA' and it is a constant interface, Unfortunately your 'soul DNA' has been tampered with ... and its interface controlled by the R-Complex (Fake Reality Interface) that has been added to the left brain hemisphere. Very little of the real you gets through and its activity is what is called the 'junk DNA' ...

So, if you carry fears and negative traits ... they are recorded into the memory body so you can continue to experience them when you leave this frequency. This is what is called being an earthbound spirit. The stored information in your DNA needs to be overwritten with openness, positivity and ego-free concepts.

Quantum theory and the afterlife: What happens when we die

S.O.T.T: In 2010, one of the most respected scientists in the world, Robert Lanza, published a book titled Biocentrism: How Life and Consciousness are the Keys to Understanding The True Nature of the Universe.

An expert in regenerative medicine and the scientific director of Advanced Cell Technology Company, Lanza is also very interested in quantum mechanics and astrophysics, an interest that led him on a path to developing his theory of biocentrism: the theory that life and consciousness are fundamental to understanding the nature of our reality, and that consciousness comes prior to the creation of the material universe.

His theory implies that our consciousness does not die with us, but rather moves on, and this suggests that consciousness is not a product of the brain. It is something else entirely, and modern science is only beginning to understand what that might be.

Lanza's theory implies that if the body generates consciousness, then consciousness dies when the body dies. But if the body receives consciousness in the same way that a cable box receives satellite signals, then of course consciousness does not end at the death of the physical vehicle. A Word on 'Electronic Voice Phenomenon'

Electronic voice phenomena are electronically captured sounds that resemble speech, but are not the result of intentional voice recordings. Common sources include static, stray radio transmissions and background noise. Some people claim these sounds are of paranormal origin. Others claim there are natural explanations such as apophenia (finding significance in insignificant phenomena), auditory pareidolia (interpreting random sounds as voices in their own language), equipment artefacts, and simple hoaxes. Recordings of electronic voice phenomena are often created from background sound by increasing the gain (i.e. sensitivity) of the recording equipment.

Quantum Physics Proves That Death Is An Illusion

Most scientists would probably say that the concept of an afterlife is either nonsense, or at the very least unprovable. Yet one expert claims he has evidence to confirm an existence beyond the grave – and it lies in quantum physics.
