After years, the mystery of the six-inch “alien” skeleton was solved

 The discovery of a six-inch skeleton with a cone-shaped head in Chile’s Atacama Desert in 2003 sparked a lot of speculation and controversy.

Some people believed that the mummified remains, nicknamed ‘Ata’, were those of an alien being that somehow ended up on Earth. However, after years of research and analysis, scientists have finally solved the mystery of Ata’s origin and appearance, reports ladbible.com.

According to a study published in 2023, Ata’s DNA was human, not extraterrestrial. The researchers also identified mutations in seven genes that are involved in human growth and development.

Garry Nolan, an immunologist based at the Stanford University in Palo Alto, California, deduced that Ata’s DNA was from a human being and not an alien.

With that said, though, there is still a major mystery that was left unanswered as Nolan simply could not conclude how such a small human being could have the peculiar physical appearance that she did.

The origin of life, consciousness and gene editing

 DNA does not function as a naked molecule. It only acts within the cell. Molecular mechanisms in the cell read the information in the DNA and translate this into hundreds of proteins used in the body for a myriad of functions. The transcription and translation of genetic information is achieved via a complex information-processing system utilising many types of nucleic acids (mRNA, tRNA, and others) and many specific enzymes. These form a tightly integrated system of systems. 

More than a hundred highly complex proteins are involved in translation. The paradox therein has not escaped commentators, these proteins cannot themselves be made except by DNA. The late British philosopher Sir Karl Popper mused for example: 

“What makes the origin of life and the genetic code a disturbing riddle is this: the code cannot be translated except by certain products of its own translation.”

In simple terms, the cell presents a chicken and egg paradox. It is impossible to decide which came first – proteins or DNA. Cells present a complex system of multiple interdependent parts and it is therefore hard to imagine how the whole system came into being. It is a self-referral system which functions holistically.

Evolution: A strong delusion 1.1

The genome refers to all of the elements that make up the genetic "instruction manual" that specifies how cells form in structure and function. It is a vast instruction manual, more like an entire library than a single manual, consists of 3 billion individual letters for the human genome. There are only 4 molecular letters that form the genetic code, and in the case of DNA we symbolise those letters as A, T, C, and G. These letters pair together and we read them as a very long string of letters. Clusters of letter sequences make up what we can imagine as words, and these clusters form genes (rather like the chapters of a book). Genes combine to form chromosomes (like volumes of a book) and these combine to form the genome (the library).

Small parts of this genetic code can be responsible for large changes in cellular development and there are large parts of the code that we don't really know what it does.

This huge string of code is also a bit different to say reading a book, one word following the other until you get the the end - a linear progression. The genome consists of multiple layers of linear code that contain overlaps, loops and branches. And as much as I hate to use machine language to describe biology, it does seem that this genetic code is similar to computer language that has both linear and non-linear characteristics. There are encoded feedback loops - genes regulating genes that further regulate other genes, in real time in response to environmental conditions. It is a code that can rewrite portions of itself depending on various factors. (Others have compared DNA with a hard drive full of code and the RNA and protein molecules, and their interactions, as the active RAM of the cell.)

If it were a computer code we'd call it artificial intelligence of a very complex design rather than a random chance collection of computer characters. This multi-dimensional, dynamic and self-regulating genome is contained in a package smaller than any visible speck of dust. From this very tiny package comes the incredible capacity to direct cells into a multitude of forms and functions. The capacity of young neurons to migrate to just the right spot in the brain is amazing and the complexity of communication between cells is mind blowing. Sorry I realise these statements are not very satisfactory but I don't have the scope to go into what is amazing and mind blowing just now - but I'd love to look at these things a bit further down the track and amaze you and blow your mind!

The Darwinian perspective on all this complexity is that it must have started from a very simple genome and after a long (a very long) series of mutations (errors in replication) and natural selection (most adaptable mutations survive and reproduce). In other words, errors in the genome add some benefit to the organism (and presumably more complexity) and the organism with such mutations reproduce more than the non-mutated version. I don't think I need to tease this out too much because this is what we have all been taught in school biology. Remember the tree of life diagram with a single cell organism at the base of the tree and as the tree goes up and branches out the animals become more complex with man somewhere at the top? But is this the truth? Did a collection of free floating amino acids come together to form a primitive strand of DNA or RNA, and somehow get encapsulated into a membrane and somehow form the 'machinery' required to replicate and sustain it's form?...<<<Read More>>>...

Understanding The Higher Functions of Genetic Structures Paired with Human Consciousness

 Since its discovery 70 years ago, DNA has been largely and crudely conceived as a static repository of information. Rather like a fixed manual that our physiology refers to for instructions. The discovery of epigenetic phenomena and the increasing understanding of RNA and its expression in biomolecular activity should have changed that understanding.

Moreover, DNA self-regulates and expresses different aspects of its structure. Genes can become upregulated or downregulated during different periods of life. In more understandable language, our DNA can learn from experience how to function so to speak—as we ourselves also learn from experience. DNA certainly has capabilities that remain unknown and unused.

Our physiology is daily challenged by billions of toxins, pathogens, bacteria, viruses, fungi, and microorganisms. Some of these are our long-term partners where containment is routine. Some are inevitably newcomers requiring a learning curve on the part of the immune system. The overall complexity of immune responses goes far beyond the possibility of complete intellectual understanding, man-made control, or successful safe modification.

The implications of how DNA is in every one of billions of cells but somehow expresses itself as a whole single person have never been adequately tackled scientifically and theoretically. We could say this is the enigma of individual identity, genetics, and memory.

DNA is at the heart of a WHOLE genetic system and the whole is more than the sum of the parts. Our genetic system has its silent non-changing nature and its changing expression, but this is not a mechanical system. It acts more like a unified field.

Physical fields like gravity are everywhere and they appear to have static rules, but they exhibit characteristics of both waves and particles and their quantum nature ensures that the apparently static rules can be bypassed. Quantum mechanics also ensures that the entire history of events remains connected with the present as it creates the future.

Go deeper and physical fields have more amazing properties. DNA is obviously an expression of more fundamental and more unified physical laws. To describe these, you need non-abelian mathematics – the unified field level thinks for itself as it creates time and space. A unified field structure cannot depend on anything outside of itself in order to express itself and its expressions are part of itself. It is self-referral. Self-referral is a suitable descriptive analogy for DNA.

Self-referral is the hallmark of our consciousness (we create from within ourselves) and the hallmark of DNA. Both have a silent phase and an active expressed phase, inseparable companions through the journey of life. Scientists discover unrelated twins may have similar DNA

 The shared genetic material appears to have led to similar lifestyle choices as well as appearance.

Have you ever been told that you have a doppelgänger? You and this person may have more in common than physical appearance, as a new study suggests that people who share similar physical traits may have similar DNA.

The authors of the study, published in Cell Reports, compared the appearance of twins, lifestyle and genetic material. They found that similar DNA can bind people in both behavior and appearance.

Using facial recognition algorithms, the researchers identified the most accurate pairs of twins. They then asked the participants to fill out a questionnaire on biometrics, lifestyle, and collected saliva DNA samples.

This data allowed them to compare the similarities of doppelgangers across their genomes, epigenomes, and even microbiomes to see how their composition might affect a person’s appearance.

By submitting your DNA to a genealogical database such as Ancestry and 23andMe, you’re giving the police access to the genetic makeup, relationships and health profiles of every relative—past, present and future—in your family, whether or not they ever agreed to be part of such a database.

It no longer even matters if you’re among the tens of millions of people who have added their DNA to ancestry databases. As Brian Resnick reports, public DNA databases have grown so massive that they can be used to find you even if you’ve never shared your own DNA.

That simple transaction—a spit sample or a cheek swab in exchange for getting to learn everything about one’s ancestral makeup, where one came from, and who is part of one’s extended family—is the price of entry into the Suspect State for all of us.

The Non-Physical Properties of Human DNA

 Vladimir Poponin is a well known Russian scientist who in 1995, with his colleagues, including biophysicist Peter Gariaev, conducted a very interesting experiment during their time at the Russian Academy of Sciences.

In their paper (P.P. Gariaev and V.P. Poponin. Vacuum DNA phantom effect in vitro and its possible rational explanation.

Nanobiology 1995 (in press), Poponin states, in the introduction of the report, that,

“We believe this discovery has tremendous significance for the explanation and deeper understanding of the mechanisms underlying subtle energy phenomena including many of the observed alternative healing phenomena.”

Why did he feel this way? We will get to that.

Poponin and Gariaev tested the behaviour of DNA on photons, little tiny bits of matter, in the “quantum” that our world is made up of. They put photons into a tube specially designed to simulate a vacuum, just like the vacuum of space.

With no air inside, they inserted the photons as they wanted to see what they did and how they behaved.

The photons were distributed in a way that was completely unordered and random, scattered all over the container. This of course was what the team of researchers expected.

Next, samples of human DNA were placed inside the tube with the photons, and what happened next is what’s truly mysterious. The photons reacted to the DNA, and changed their pattern and formed a specific alignment.

In the presence of living material, the human DNA, the photons organized! This signified that the DNA was clearly having a direct influence over the photons.

It’s one of many examples hypothesizing that something within us has a direct affect on the physical material matter outside of us.

Why Human DNA Might Be The Product of Another Intelligence

 The reason for my fascination with DNA as software is that its origin is an anomaly without a credible explanation when viewed in the context of modern technology.

Up until now, a humans only direct experience of mind was through the human mind – and it was entirely based on personal experience and indirectly through communication we sometimes seem to share from our anecdotal mental experiences or those of others.

But they are always of human mind.

There was no way to entertain the idea of directly knowing a mind other than one’s own – the “one” with all of the stories tied to one’s “identity.”

But now that we have been able to discern the logic of DNA because of software- we can truly see it for what it must be – the product of another intelligence.

There is only one programming language whose origin we do not know—and that is DNA.

How is DNA an “organic” programming language; geneticist Juan Enriquez’s TED video informs us that DNA behaves in exactly the same way as our own “floppy disks” and computer software.

The A, C, T and G symbols represented in in sequencing stand for chemicals, so the “calculations” or “instructions” are biochemical and not in a silicon chip as with our computers, but the principle is identical.

Now with the new CRISPR editing technology not only can we copy and paste genetic code – we can do search and replace.

It is interesting to note that before his death, Michael Crichton – the brilliant author of Jurassic Park and Westworld, cautioned against the dangers of corporations patenting genes – or DNA code.

Imagine a company coming up with a DNA sequence to stop Alzheimer’s or Parkinson’s but you would need to pay them royalties?

Like programs with which we are familiar – Google, Apple, Microsoft and so on, any (encoded) program must have a Mental basis or it could not be decoded.

And in the case of DNA now with CRISPR – edited and reprogrammed.
