‘Skeleton’ discovered on Mars: Curiosity took a mysterious photo

 On the 3786th Martian day of its stay on a neighboring planet, NASA’s Mars rover Curiosity photographed an object incredibly similar to the ribs of a skeleton.

An amazing picture was found by an astrobiologist Nathalie Cabrol. Posting it on Twitter, she wrote: “This is the most amazing rock I’ve seen in 20 years of exploring Mars.” For those who want to make sure that this is not a hoax, the photo can be viewed on the NASA website.

The post of the researcher has attracted huge attention – since April 11, it has gained 1.3 million views. The astrobiologist, naturally, was intrigued.

Most of those who responded considered the find evidence of past life on Mars and agreed that the ribs of some kind of skeleton were sticking out of the ground – they were exposed by the wind.

Abigail Freiman, who represents the Curiosity project team, explained on Twitter that the mysterious ribs are just “corals”. That is, they are not alive.

Most likely formed by sulfates that precipitated from the water that was once on Mars. Scientifically, such formations are called diagenetic crystal clusters – structures consisting of a combination of several different minerals.

Ancient head statue photographed by Curiosity rover on Mars

 The image obtained by the Curiosity rover has caused controversy on the Internet regarding possible life on Mars in antiquity. Interestingly, the stone looks like a fragment of an ancient Egyptian statue.

Indeed, it happens that many finds on the Red Planet have no explanation and defy any logic. This leads many researchers to assume that Mars was inhabited in the past.

A possible hybrid rodent has been found on the red planet by the mars curiosity rover.

The anomaly which was photographed near gale crater appears to show a small mammal type creature possibly a hybrid species of gundi or prairie dog.

And a new set of pictures released by NASA could appear to confirm conspiracy theorists' claims that we are not alone in the universe. The images taken by a NASA navigation camera have been released and appear to show a human-like figure working on the Mars Curiosity Rover, which is scanning the Red Planet. The pictures seem to feature a human-shaped shadow looming over the probe as if they are repairing it. What can I say about this image taken of Mars back in 2012 ....?? 

Look closely at the above image ... observe the third red ringed area from the left ... and you will see a BLACK SIGN or flag on a wall. Most of the red ringed areas show definite STRUCTURES. Buildings and artifacts that are not natural formations. There is also a suspected bridge structure far right. If this IS Mars then this is clear signs of intelligent life and evidence Mars is occupied with life. If this is NOT Mars and a NASA scam with images being beamed from Earth ... then the scam can be undone with this photograph. Which is it I wonder??? See for yourself and judge for yourself. The black sign is the most damning piece of evidence on this image, and it can be seen clearly!!!

Strong proof that there's water on Mars as Curiosity rover discovers rounded off pebbles

Pyramids on Mars? Curiosity discovers mysterious rock on the red planet

Looking uncannily like an Egyptian pyramid, it is not something you would expect to see on the surface of Mars. Nasa engineers were so intrigued by the unique, football sized rock, they have driven the Curiosity rover up to it for a closer rock. The football-size rock will be the first on Mars to be examined by rover's robotic arm .Curiosity is about 8 feet (2.5 meters) from the rock. It lies about halfway from the rover's landing site, Bradbury Landing, to a location called Glenelg. The team plans to touch the rock with a spectrometer to determine its elemental composition and use an arm-mounted camera to take close-up photographs. Both the arm-mounted Alpha Particle X-Ray Spectrometer and the mast-mounted, laser-zapping Chemistry and Camera Instrument will be used for identifying elements in the rock....read more>>>...

Mars Today IV

Here we have some fairly close scrutiny of a recently released Mars Curiosity Probe image.  The area of interest is in the mid-ground as indicated by the red rectangle in the hue adjusted image. The close up zoom image is at the top of this composite image. Areas of interest are indicated by red arrows, and there are many artifacts of 'interest'. Sadly the quality of the image is insufficient to determine exactly what the artifacts are ... but they appear to have uniform structure and some hints at intelligent life???

UFO on Mars in Curiosity Video?

Curiosity rover filmed something flying across the Mars horizon - what is it?

Object 1 ascends in the middle of horizon 0:03. Object 2 appears at the far left at 0:24. Possible explanations are satellites, meteors, parts of the rovers landing gear, stars etc. Objects still remain unidentified. Leaked video footage or photo time laps (1 frame per second?) taken by the NASA Mars Curiosity Rover of unidentified objects in the sky and ascending from the ground. Receiving more footage and info soon, so stay tuned.

Mars Today III

The bottom image is the portion of a seemingly innocuous image beamed back from Mars by the Curiosity Probe. What caught my eye on its straight away was the portion of  blue grey in the middle ground. Adjusting the hue on this image produced the middle image ... doesn't that blue grey look like water? If this was an image from Earth you would instantly agree with me! Now look at the zoomed image at the top ...water? It does appear to be water! There appears to be worn paths and tracks on the image too. Again, with my conspiracy head in place, I muse over the possibilities ... (1) it isn't water but sand of a different density to other areas of the image; (2) it is water ... but why release such a controversial image of Mars with this on to the world press?; (3) it is water ... but this image is actually on earth (The twin live image feed theory) ... I will let you decide. 

Mars Today II

The bottom image is a segment of a recently released photograph of Mars taken by the Curiosity Probe. First thing I did with the image was change the hue to obtain a more likely colour balance for the picture. I then zoomed into the image to find any obvious anomalies. And bingo I did! Two seemingly innocuous looking squares in the image on a high zoom. Two dots not seen under normal scrutiny. My question is ... what has been taken out of the original images? What appeared that someone didn't want us to see? (i) some kind of technology that would destroy the myth of there being no life on Mars or (ii) a earthly artifact that would prove these are images from a site on earth being used to pretend the images are from Mars??? Food for thought!  If NASA was being 100% upfront this tampering would not be taking place!!

Mars Today ...

Again with my 'conspiracy head on' ... I've explored another released Curiosity Probe image of Mars. Again, I've toned down the red hue of the original image ... and this time have found a blue sky plus a landscape which is very earth-like indeed. Now with my Conspiracy Head on I have intuitively started to think what if NASA have two live feeds??? One on Mars and one on Earth in the centre of a desert somewhere. When there are live feed images beamed back from Mars which "they don't want us to see" ... hey presto supply the images from the earth live feed instead??? The interesting thing here of note again is ... if (i) this is the case, then why? What are they seeing ... and (ii) if this is NOT the case why is it so easy to tone down the images and get earth-like images. Final point ... look towards the top of both images and observe the horizontal line which goes from top left to the horizon. I zoomed in ... and the result is the image at the bottom. It might not be ... but it looks like a road cutting???

One, taken with a device on its rear known as a Hazcam, captured the pebble-strewn ground beneath the rover and one of its wheels — and a blotch, faint but distinctive, on the horizon.

The images were relayed by a passing satellite. Two hours later, the satellite passed overhead again. This time, Curiosity sent home a new batch of higher-resolution photos. They showed the same horizon.

Image of the Day

Having reviewed a recent Curiosity Probe photograph of Mars (Shown Right) with my 'conspiracy head on' I decided to play about with the image ... as most of us know NASA have a reputation for tampering with the images they receive from space. The image is supposed to show Earth, Jupiter and Venus on the Skyline. However, on close image zoom scrutiny of the planets (Shown left) ... there are clear pixellation marks as if these 'dots' have been added to the image to create this illusion. The left image shows a very earth-like scene which suggests three possible thought processes ... (i) The image is NOT of Mars at all and has been changed with a red hue to appear like the traditional image we are shown of Mars ... or (ii) it is indeed Mars and the photo tampering has been undertaken to keep the image going of the red planet ... when it was unofficially disclosed that Mars does indeed have a blue sky. This conclusion does not explain the pixellation around the planets ... (iii) The image is indeed what it says it is .... I leave you to make your own conclusions!!!

Touchdown! Nasa's Curiosity rover survives 13,000mph plunge onto Martian surface

After travelling eight-and-a-half months and 352 million miles, NASA rover Curiosity landed on Mars at 5.33 GMT (1.33 EDT) this morning. The high-tech craft hit the top of the Martian atmosphere at 13,000mph, and was then slowly lowered by a radical floating 'sky crane' before gently arriving in a massive crater. The news was greeted with cheers and shouts in Nasa's Pasadena Mission Control, and within seconds the craft had sent back the first pictures of its new home. ubilant scientists hugged, wept and distributed Mars bars to each other as mission controllers confirmed the landing.
