Empowering Feminine Energy

So often in our world, we tend to think of strength as a quality that arises from a place of firm determination and a will to succeed no matter the cost. Even though we might want to think of a strong woman as being defined in this way, what really makes a woman confident is her capacity for listening to her true self and being able to call upon her feminine wisdom in any situation that may arise. A woman’s insight and sense of compassion truly demonstrate the depth of her strength.

Listening to the feminine side of ourselves may not seem easy at first because this type of energy is something that is often overlooked in many aspects of our everyday lives. If we can connect with this part of who we are, we will find that there is an unlimited wellspring of strength available to us. Our capacity to tap into our intuition and listen to our inner guides, to take into account the needs of those around us, and to view a situation with compassion and love are ways that we can show the world the true power that is part of our feminine nature. When we learn to integrate this source of strength into our daily tasks and decision-making, we will find that we can be more flexible and open to the things that happen around us and more receptive to new ideas. Not only will we see the world in a different light, but we will truly start to realize the potential for this form of energy to both empower ourselves and those around us.

As we cultivate our feminine energy we can redefine the meaning of strength. By embracing this power as something that is strong in its own right, we are able to use it with true assurance and determination and draw upon what truly belongs to us. (Daily OM)

Sacred Archetypes

Have you ever wondered why you’re drawn to certain people, places, and experiences? Have you ever noticed repeating patterns, unexpected turns, and moments that seem to hold hidden meaning? From ancient Greek philosophy to Jungian psychology, these circumstances aren’t random. They’re the influence of archetypes — active guardians of your inner psyche that quietly shape your beliefs, decisions, motivations, and choices.

Archetypes aren’t just personality traits; they’re symbolic roles your soul chose before birth, designed to help you grow, heal, and fulfill your highest potential. The archetypes that live inside you are as unique as your fingerprints, offering clues to your life’s purpose, your creative gifts, and the deeper meaning behind your greatest challenges.

The wonder of working with archetypes is that they give language to the invisible. They help you make sense of your patterns, your passions, and your pain. Most of all, they remind you that your life has meaning — that you're not broken or lost. You are on a soul-led journey filled with purpose and wisdom. When you begin to see your life through the lens of archetypes, clarity replaces confusion, and your path forward becomes not only visible but also deeply inspiring....<<<Read More>>>...

Magical Child Archetype

The Magical Child archetype is representative of the part of each of us which is enchanting to other people, as well as enchanted in of itself. The Magical Child is able to see the sacred beauty in the world and those within in, as well as the potential for such beauty where others would never be able to imagine it could exist.

They are the type of child that believes in fairies at the bottom of the garden or that animals can really speak to them.

They spend much time slightly detached from the realities of the world in which they live, daydreaming and engaged in imaginative play in their own fantasy world.

The Magical Child finds the literary world and fairy tales compelling, enjoying losing themselves in the fantastical stories within. They may also enjoy writing such stories as well as reading them, using their vivid imagination to create their own characters and worlds....<<<Read More>>>...

Anima and Animus: How to Balance Divine Feminine/Masculine

[Wake Up World]: As poet Walt Whitman once wrote: “I am large, I contain multitudes.”

There is a reason why this simple yet beautiful verse has reverberated across history: it contains immense truth. We all contain multitudes. We are all a divine amalgamation of water and fire, soul and spirit, yin and yang.

Ultimately, when we narrow everything down within us, we see that we contain two energies: that of the feminine and masculine.

In psychology, these two polar opposite forces are known as the Anima and Animus. And learning to connect with, explore, and balance each of these inner forces is crucial for our well-being. In this article, we’ll explore why.

First coined by famous psychiatrist Carl Jung, the terms “Anima” and “Animus” refer to the indwelling masculine and feminine energies that we all possess. Specifically, the anima is thought to be the feminine part of a man’s soul, and the animus refers to the masculine part of a female’s soul. Both the anima and animus are ancient archetypes (or raw forms of energy) that every being contains.

Let’s explore these parts of us more in depth …<<<Read The Full Article Here>>>...

A Look at The Shadow Self

Streams Of Light: The shadow self is what sabotages our relationships, jobs, it denies our spirit, keeps us from realizing our destiny and dreams. It is what we sweep under the rug. It gets buried and repressed into our deep unconscious self. The shadow is what we don't want to be. It seems so horrible and grotesque feeding into our greatest fear that someone might discover our dark shameful secret --- further repressing it. Hiding what's inside gives it power, because we don't have the power to chose --- we just react. It is the voice that says we are unloved, undeserving, unworthy, keeping us from what we want or desire. It shows itself through our projection of judgements on others. What we don't own about ourselves we project onto other people. It is the only way to get our attention. terrified of discover the ego disowns it and uses the tool of judgement to protect itself --- but only prevents self realization. When you don't own an aspect of your life --- it runs your life.

Imagine that your body has electrical outlets all through it. Each outlet represents a different quality. The qualities we acknowledge and embrace have childproof covers over them. They are safe because there is no way to plug into them. But the qualities we don't own have an electrical charge. So when someone comes along with the qualities of that outlet --- they just plug right on into us. The jolt in voltage is a signal to arm for confrontation. So what we deny, resent, reject, or project ---we magnetize right to us. We are pathological liars when it comes to looking at our internal feelings. Since we can't find the offending quality within then the only way we can see that qualities is in others. So if you feel uncomfortable to express your anger, you are going to attract a whole lot of angry people in your life, to do it for you!

Other people mirror back our hidden emotions and feelings. Owning to manifest your full potential you have to claim the parts of yourself that you denied, hidden or given away to others to act out for you. If you keep attracting people with similar qualities or traits in your life it is to show you what aspects you are disowning in yourself. This gives us an opportunity to recognize them and reclaim them.

The pain of our perceived flaws compels us to cover them up. We often over compensate by being the opposite. What we don't want to face often is the drive and motivation to do something different...read more>>>...

What is the Human Shadow?

What is the human Shadow? In short, the Shadow is our dark side; our lost and forgotten disowned self. Your Shadow is the place within you that contains all of your secrets, repressed feelings, primitive impulses, and parts deemed “unacceptable,” shameful, “sinful” or even “evil.”

This hidden place lurking within your unconscious mind also contains suppressed and rejected emotions such as rage, jealousy, hatred, greed, deceitfulness, and selfishness.

So where did the Shadow Self idea originate? The concept was originally coined and explored by Swiss psychiatrist and psychoanalyst, Carl Jung. In Jung’s own words:

Everyone carries a shadow, and the less it is embodied in the individual’s conscious life, the blacker and denser it is.

When the human Shadow is shunned, it tends to undermine and sabotage our lives. Addictions, low self-esteem, mental illness, chronic illnesses, and various neuroses are all attributed to the Shadow Self.

When our Shadows are suppressed or repressed in the unconscious long enough, they can even overtake our entire lives and cause psychosis or extreme forms of behavior like cheating on one’s partner or physically harming others. Intoxicants such as alcohol and drugs also have a tendency to unleash the Shadow.

Thankfully, there is a way to explore the Shadow and prevent it from devouring our existence, and that is called Shadow Work....<<<Read More>>>...

Be the Glitch You Want to See in the Matrix

Usually, a glitch is a problem, a bug, or a hiccup in the proper order of things. But what happens when you are living in a profoundly sick society? What happens when the “order of things” is unhealthy? What happens when the machinery of culture is outdated and found wanting? More importantly, what happens when you rebel against it?

The answer: you become a healthy glitch. Moreso, you become a necessary glitch, a vital glitch that could transform the unhealthy culture into a healthier one.

Here are a few next-level strategies for becoming a necessary glitch in the unnecessary Matrix…

The trickster is a double-edged sword. He cuts himself even as he cuts the world. He cuts his own ego first, but, knowing that he is the world and the world is him, he also cuts the world. He battles against Certainty to keep Curiosity at the forefront of the human condition.

Your inner trickster understands that the cure for certainty is curiosity. The cure for hardened belief is flexible thought. The cure for seriousness is playfulness. And so, he plays with the outdated constructs of the sick culture that surrounds him like a kid plays with toys. He wrecks them against each other, and thereby reveals their inherent corruption.

Tapping your inner trickster will give you the courage you will need to go beyond good and evil, beyond outdated notions of “truth,” and beyond cultural modes of rightdoing and wrongdoing. It will propel you into playful, non-serious, and honest detachment. It will teach you to fly into updated improvisation while the rest of the world is crawling through outdated tradition...<<<Read More>>>....

Archetypes To Live By: The Power of Universal Symbols

[Waking Times]: A human life is a story, with a beginning, middle and an end. Like stories, our lives are filled with moments and experiences that shape us into who we ultimately become. Many of those moments and defining experiences become embedded within the subconscious mind, and even deeper into the ‘collective unconscious’ where they continue to drive our behaviours, actions and thoughts long after their shelf-life has worn out. They take on a symbolic form, and, in turn, a universal aspect that is understood, and experienced, by others all over the world regardless of time, place, colour, gender or creed.

These universal symbols are called ‘archetypes’, a word which has its roots in the ancient Greek archein for ‘original, old’, and typos for ‘pattern, type or model’. Archetypes are models or blueprints of original patterns, concepts, ideas, objects, themes and motifs that are later copied, modelled after, emulated and derived from. They serve as a foundation for understanding who we are not only as individuals, but as the collective of humanity as well.

Two of the biggest figures in the development and evolution of the study of archetypes were Swiss psychoanalyst Carl Gustav Jung, and comparative mythologist Joseph Campbell. Both have been instrumental in our understanding of archetypes, and their research served as the springboard for more recent examinations by noted authors and experts in the field of personal transformation.

Before we delve into the world of archetypes, we need to understand the levels of the human mind and how they operate. The most obvious to us is the conscious mind, which basically is the present and aware mind we live with on a daily basis. It is awake, rational, analytical and observant, but also preoccupied, overwhelmed and distracted. It is both clear mind and monkey mind, and the level of mind we use to interact with others and our physical environment.

Just below the level of the conscious mind lies the mighty world of the subconscious, where the vast majority of our behaviours, thoughts, actions and personalities emerge from. Like the base of an iceberg, the tip being the conscious mind, the subconscious is the ‘driver’ of the vehicle and is a place of shadows and darkness, buried experiences and embedded patterns, old beliefs and fears and all sorts of programming that has built up over the years, often at the hands of external influences like parents, peers, teachers, religious and political figures and cultural beliefs.

Where the conscious mind makes plans, the subconscious mind often derails those plans because of old patterns we don’t even know are there. So, it makes sense that most of who we believe ourselves to be is not even who we really are. Rather, it is the product of the vast expanses of the subconscious. And it is very hard to find the programming within, let alone change it!...<<<Read More>>>...

Jung & the Invasion of the Collective Mind

[Waking Times]: The question we are confronted with is a collective one, and it concerns us all. Why are so many of us, our fellow humans, behaving so badly?

And not only badly, but in a way that is detrimental to our own well-being. It would seem more than strange, verging on the insane, that any creature would wish to deliberately harm its own environment and support systems.

Yet for us humans we have the significant added factor of being conscious of our actions, and self-conscious in our reflective understanding. So, again, to ask – what has gotten into our minds?

It appears that this question has been asked many times in the past, over and over, by many thinkers, philosophers, sages, and mystics. It is a question that has concerned a great number of people for a long time. And yet I can only suspect that the issue is of great concern today because for the first time in our human history we are behaving as a global species.

With our communication technologies we are sharing our ideas, stories, opinions, and the rest, all across the planet. We can know almost instantly some news from a far-flung corner of the world. And so, at this time in our human history, a negative presence in our collective mindset would be disastrous...<<<Read The Full Article Here>>>...

Trickster-Hero: The Art of Having Nothing to Lose

[Waking Times]: Governing the precept that the self is masks all the way down, perceiving delusions all the way up, it stands to reason that one of those “masks” would embolden the self to question all delusions and break all masks. Indeed, one of those masks should embolden the self to the extent that it thinks it has nothing to lose.

That mask is the mask of the trickster.

When a person dons the mask of the trickster they become the personification of a trickster God in training. Playful yet ruthless. Foolish yet fierce. Contrarian yet cunning. Seductive yet demure. Enigmatic yet chaotic. Flying-by-the-seat-of-his-pants yet free. The personified trickster is an anti-hero par excellence, a hero bound by neither code nor conduct, a hero with nothing to lose. Nonchalant, unruly, passionate, a dauntless maverick testing all boundaries and stretching all comfort zones, despite resistance from the petty, the prudish, the pacifists, from cowards and fence-sitters. Indeed, despite even his/her own resistance.

For the trickster must first trick himself into thinking he has nothing to lose.

The task of a trickster hero is both Dionysian (passionate, artistic, ecstatic) and Sisyphean (unavailing and endless).

It takes a unique type of courage to be a catalyzing agent. Trickster as catalyst is a planter of unwanted seeds, of difficult truths, and brutal motivation. These are seeds that promise to outgrow the stagnant culture with its antiquated laws and outdated beliefs. These are the difficult truths that bypass convention and face a mirror in front of the fallibility of the human condition.

The kind of brutal motivation that kicks us in the ass for being lazy, shoves us into the abyss for being pretend-forgiving, and drags us kicking and screaming into either the self-improvement or self-destruction of our own unique adventure...Read The Full Article Here>>>...

The Anima and the Animus: Time to Harmonize Your Masculine and Feminine Energies

[Wake up World]: First described by Psychologist Carl Gustav Jung, the terms “Anima” and “Animus” refer to the male energies present within the female, and female energies present within the male.

Symbolically the yin and yang; which have many given meanings as ancient symbology: light and darkness, good and bad, positive and negative, heaven and earth, love and hate, life and death …

However, in this instance, the yin and yang is a perfect representation of the Animus and Anima that dwells within us all...read more>>>...

The One-Eye Sign: Its Origins and Occult Meaning

[Vigilante News]: Why are there so many pictures of celebrities hiding one eye? It is definitely not random. In fact, the One-Eye sign has a profound meaning and proves an important fact about the powers that be. This article looks at the origins and the meaning of the unescapable One-Eye sign.

The One-Eye sign is one of the most recurrent themes on The Vigilant Citizen because it is also one of the most recurrent themes in mass media. Throughout the years, this site has highlighted hundreds upon hundreds of clear instances where major artists, models, celebrities, politicians and public figures pose with one eye hidden.

The sign is everywhere: In music videos, on magazine covers, on movie posters, in advertisement and so forth. The sheer number of these pictures is simply staggering. Considering these facts, the repeated occurrence of the One-Eye sign simply cannot be the result of coincidence. Indeed, there is a clear effort to have this sign displayed everywhere.

Why is this sign everywhere and what does it mean? Here’s a look at the timeless and transcendental symbol of the Eye.

The human eye has been used as a symbol since the dawn of civilization. It can be found across all ages and civilizations. Carl Jung identified the eye as a classic “archetypal symbol” – an image that is embedded in humanity’s “collective unconscious”. According to his theory, humans instinctively respond to archetypal symbols and unconsciously assign to them a specific meaning....read more>>>...

The Nature of the Archetypes

Dreams and myths are constellations of archetypal images. They are not free compositions by an artist who plans them for artistic or informational effects. Dreams and myths happen to human beings. The archetype speaks through us. It is a presence and a possibility of "significance." The ancients called them "gods" and "goddesses."

What then is an archetype? Jung discovered that humans have a "preconscious psychic disposition that enables a (man) to react in a human manner." These potentials for creation are actualized when they enter consciousness as images. There is a very important distinction between the "unconscious, pre- existent disposition" and the "archetypal image." The archetype may emerge into consciousness in myriads of variations. To put it another way, there are a very few basic archetypes or patterns which exist at the unconscious level, but there are an infinite variety of specific images which point back to these few patterns. Since these potentials for significance are not under conscious control, we may tend to fear them and deny their existence through repression. This has been a marked tendency in Modern Man, the man created by the French Revolution, the man who seeks to lead a life that is totally rational and under conscious control.

Where do the archetypes come from? In his earlier work, Jung tried to link the archetypes to heredity and regarded them as instinctual. We are born with these patterns which structure our imagination and make it distinctly human. Archetypes are thus very closely linked to our bodies. In his later work, Jung was convinced that the archetypes are psychoid, that is, "they shape matter (nature) as well as mind (psyche)" (Houston Smith, Forgotten Truth, 40). In other words, archetypes are elemental forces which play a vital role in the creation of the world and of the human mind itself. The ancients called them elemental spirits How do archetypes operate? Jung found the archetypal patterns and images in every culture and in every time period of human history. They behaved according to the same laws in all cases. He postulated the Universal Unconscious to account for this fact. We humans do not have separate, personal unconscious minds. We share a single Universal Unconscious. Mind is rooted in the Unconscious just as a tree is rooted in the ground. Imagine the Universal Unconscious as a cosmic computer.

Our minds are subdirectories of the root directory. If we look in our personal "work areas," we find much material that is unique to our historical experience--could only have happened to us--but it is shaped according to universal patterns. If we humans have the courage to seek the source to which our "account" belongs, we begin to discover ever more impersonal and universal patterns. The directories of the cosmic computer to which we can gain access are filled with the myths of the human species...READ MORE...

The Shadow

The Shadow is a very common archetype that reflects deeper elements of our psyche, where 'latent dispositions' which are common to us all arise. It also reflects something that was once split from us in early management of the objects in our lives.
It is, by its name, dark, shadowy, unknown and potentially troubling. It embodies chaos and wildness of character. The shadow thus tends not to obey rules, and in doing so may discover new lands or plunge things into chaos and battle. It has a sense of the exotic and can be disturbingly fascinating. In myth, it appears as the wild man, spider-people, mysterious fighters and dark enemies.
We may see the shadow in others and, if we dare, know it in ourselves. Mostly, however, we deny it in ourselves and project it onto others. It can also have a life of its own, as the Other. A powerful goal that some undertake is to re-integrate the shadow, the dark side, and the light of the 'real' self. If this can be done effectively, then we can become 'whole' once again, bringing together that which was once split from us.

Our shadow may appear in dreams, hallucinations and musings, often as something or someone who is bad, fearsome or despicable in some way. It may seduce through false friendship or threaten with callous disregard. Encounters with it, as an aspect of the subconscious, may reveal deeper thoughts and fears. It may also take over direct physical action when the person is confused, dazed or drugged. (Changing Minds)

A Word on 'Haniel'

Haniel is a Celestial Angelic Being within the Angelic Order known as the Archangels. Archangels are responsible for ministering to humans, considered somewhat like “manager angels,” Archangels oversee the responsibilities of Guardian Angels and the other Celestial Light Beings that act as our guardians and guides.

Haniel is experienced as a feminine angelic presence with a beautiful opalescent blue-white energy. Her name means Grace of God and her presence helps us to return to our True State of Being. Haniel’s energy helps us to realign with our True and Natural State of Grace and to return to the Integrity of our Divine Essential Self.

Archangel Haniel is aligned with the Stars and the Moon. She is one of the archangels who guided the priest-astronomers of ancient Babylon with their work in astrology, astronomy, divination and spiritual healing.

Archangel Haniel is also an Angelic Ambassador of Intuition, assisting those who desire to open and develop their intuitive/psychic abilities. Haniel reminds us that we all are naturally intuitive, reminding us that our intuitive abilities are innate and are already a part of our consciousness. Everyone has “psychic” abilities, albeit many use their intuition without being consciously aware. They may follow their “gut” feelings, may have foresight of some event or “just know” what to do without realizing that this is their natural intuitive consciousness at work within their lives. And for many, this system of “under cover” unconscious intuitive existence serves their current life plan properly. However, there are many that do desire to become consciously aware of their intuitive/psychic abilities and to consciously utilize these abilities for their own personal development and personal life enhancement. While others may wish to consciously utilize their intuition for personal development as well as channel the energy professionally to assist and guide others. Whatever the application, Archangel Haniel is an excellent angelic ally for further opening, developing and consciously utilizing our natural intuitive/psychic abilities. (pyramid company)
