Dangers of the incoming Digital ID system

 Following a public consultation, the UK Government has confirmed plans to draw up new legislation making virtual forms of ID accessible via a phone app or website for instance, as trusted and secure as physical documents.

At the moment there is a huge push by those seeking to make money by offering Digital ID services, and the Government to justify why Digital ID checks are a fantastic idea. All of the mainstream news on the subject only lists the alleged positives.

But there are also a number of potential drawbacks to the widespread use of Digital ID. Your Government just doesn’t want you to know about them.

Firstly, there is little information about who and what is collecting information, from scanning behaviour in a retail store to potentially checking the use of government services.

The last few years have made it very clear that the security of databases, either private or government, is not assured. Moreover, citizens’ access to the data collected on them, its uses, and their own rights to it are unclear.

Secondly, the capability to track people via digital ID by geolocation means that there is at least the capacity to monitor people all the time, with or without their consent. It isn’t clear what rights people will have to this tracking, what ability they will have to control it, or how it might be used.

Thirdly, the rise of artificial intelligence means that, as data from Digital ID systems is gathered, algorithms are being built that may have a major impact on people. These systems, though, like the data itself, are neither transparent in operation nor clear even as to who or what is building them, and for what purposes.

It may be, in the future, that people will find they no longer have consumer options such as low-cost bank loans due to the decisions of algorithms whose workings are not transparent to the public.

Fourth, all the systems of Digital ID and data-gathering are vulnerable to security breaches. The Equifax breach, for example, compromised an astonishing 145.5 million Social Security numbers. Because of the potential for cyber breaches, hacks in the future could even larger and put entire systems at risk.

With authorities starting the journey to normalise the use of Digital ID, breaches have the potential of becoming even more disruptive than they are now.

Lastly, but not least by any means, the introduction of Digital ID’s poses one of the gravest risks to human rights of any technology that we have encountered.

Ultimately, social credit systems, such as those that are currently being developed in China, will be based on digital ID, thereby enabling or disabling our full and free participation in society.

By developing facial recognition and AI & machine learning technologies in parallel with systems for a Digital ID, we are not simply establishing an identity to access basic social services. Digital IDs will become necessary to function in a connected digital world.

This has not escaped the attention of authoritarian regimes. Already, they are working to splinter the internet, collect and localize data, and impose regimes of surveillance and control. Digital ID systems, as they are being developed today, are ripe for exploitation and abuse, to the detriment of our freedoms and democracies.

You may be thinking that this would never happen in the West and it is only unique to China. But they already enforced it here without you realising it, through Covid-19/Vaccine Passports.

Mandatory COVID passports have almost nothing to do with public health and everything to do with social control. Why? Because the Covid-19 injections do not prevent infection or transmission. In fact, real-world data shows the vaccines make someone more likely to be infected and transmit the virus.

So Vaccine Passports make absolutely zero sense from a Public Health perspective. But they make perfect sense for enforcing a Digital ID and Social Credit system....<<<Read More>>>...

The Coming Terror of Social Impact Finance and Social Credit Scores

Between 1978 and 1995, Theodore John Kaczynski, or simply Ted Kaczynski, launched a coordinated bombing campaign in an attempt to raise awareness about the threat digital technology poses to the planet and all life. iPhones Will Diagnose Users Mental Health Issues In Future

 More fear narratives to be absorbed into the mind and become part of human perceptions to then create the sound frequency to make future reality .....

[Richie Allen]:The Wall Street Journal has seen leaked documents which detail how iPhones will eventually be adapted to monitor the mental health of users. Future handsets will be capable of monitoring users’ mobility and sleep patterns.

The device will also be capable of analysing your mental state through your typing patterns. According to The Times:

The features are still in the planning stage but are likely to be part of the company’s collaboration with the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), which is studying stress, anxiety and depression, and the pharmaceutical company Biogen Inc, which is studying mild cognitive impairment.

UCLA researchers are using movement, sleep and facial expression data obtained through the Apple Watch and iPhone, and plan to compare what they find with participants’ answers to mental health questionnaires.

Biogen and Apple said in January that they were experimenting with how to use handsets to track cognitive function over time and identify mild cognitive impairment, a condition that can develop into Alzheimer’s.

Apple claims that it will eventually create an App to warn users that they are at risk and advise them to seek the advice of a specialist.

And they said that we were paranoid when we claimed that smart phones are watching us and monitoring our conversations, didn’t they?

This has the whiff of Minority Report about it doesn’t it? Apple will no doubt maintain that the App will be secure and totally confidential. What a load of crap. This has pre-crime and the social credit system written all over it.

Philip K. Dick couldn’t have dreamt it. In the future, your phone will tell you that you are mentally unstable and advise you to seek a specialist, while simultaneously notifying the local authorities.

Failure to book a health visit will result in the authorities coming to see you in the interest of public safety. They’ll have no problem finding you, even if you throw the device in the toilet. Why? Well that’s obvious. There will be a chip inside you, whether you know it or not.

The phone will also be adapted to inform the authorities if it thinks that you may be about to commit a crime.

In fact, in the future, you won’t even need to be carrying a phone as everyone else will and they’ll all be interconnected. That’s what the internet of things is. You might turn yours off or leave it at home, but every conversation you have will be heard, because you’ll never be more than a few feet away from a smart phone or watch.

A UK Company Launches a LinkedIn Scorecard – Are We Witnessing Creeping Totalitarianism by Chinese-Style Social Credit System?

[The Daily Expose]: The tagline for a LinkedIn scorecard system begins: “It’s time to reimagine in-person selling and cold-calling for the digital world.” There is something familiar about their choice of words, particularly, “reimagine.” But it’s their featured image which stands out most.

The scorecard has been launched by 123 Internet Agency, a company based in Milton Keynes, whose business is to “support a local and international client base with Digital Marketing Strategy, Design, Web, Social Media, SEO & Media.” Below are a few extracts relating to the LinkedIn scorecard, China’s social credit system, The Great Reset and Agenda 2030 – where possible in their own words using their own imagery, so you can judge for yourself whether 123 Internet Agency’s scorecard is part of the “Agenda.”

Imagine a world where everything is analysed. China initiated the concept of its Social Credit System in 2014, and it was planned to go nationwide in 2020. In the system, everyone is given a score ranging from 350 to 950 based on their monitored behaviour. Everyone starts with 1000 points. This score increases or decreases with people’s actions or behaviours.

However, as reported by Business Insider in May 2021: “The system is piecemeal and voluntary, though the plan is for it to eventually be mandatory and unified across the nation, with each person given their own unique code used to measure their social credit score in real time.

“The system can be used for individual people, but also for companies and government organisations. The private sector, including the burgeoning tech world in China, has their own non-governmental scoring systems that they implement.”

Wired reported: “Brits are well accustomed to credit checks: data brokers such as Experian trace the timely manner in which we pay our debts, giving us a score that’s used by lenders and mortgage providers. We also have social-style scores, and anyone who has shopped online with eBay has a rating on shipping times and communication, while Uber drivers and passengers both rate each other; if your score falls too far, you’re out of luck.

“China’s social credit system expands that idea to all aspects of life, judging citizens’ behaviour and trustworthiness. Caught jaywalking, don’t pay a court bill, play your music too loud on the train — you could lose certain rights, such as booking a flight or train ticket. “The idea itself is not a Chinese phenomenon,” says Mareike Ohlberg, research associate at the Mercator Institute for China Studies. Nor is the use, and abuse, of aggregated data for analysis of behaviour. “But if [the Chinese system] does come together as envisioned, it would still be something very unique,” she says. “It’s both unique and part of a global trend.””

Sovereign Man reported the story of Liu Hu, a journalist in China, who is a victim of the Chinese social credit system.

“One day in 2017 [Liu Hu] suddenly found that he was unable to buy a plane ticket. The system just rejected him. He also found he couldn’t purchase certain train tickets. Then he discovered that he was unable to acquire a loan from any bank, and even forbidden from buying property at all.

“Eventually Liu Hu discovered his name on a government “List of Dishonest Persons Subject to Enforcement.” And there was no obvious way to appeal the designation, or have his name removed from the list.”...<<<Read More>>>...
