Two ethics professors at Western Michigan University’s Homer Stryker MD School of Medicine, Parker Crutchfield and Blake Hereth, have ignited outrage with a peer-reviewed paper proposing the deliberate promotion of ticks to trigger alpha-gal syndrome (AGS)—a red-meat allergy—to reduce meat consumption and combat climate change. Published in Bioethics, their “Beneficial Bloodsucking” argument frames AGS as a “moral bioenhancer,” asserting that inducing allergies to cattle, pigs and lambs could ethically “prioritize planetary health over personal choice.” The controversial stance has drawn sharp criticism, with opponents calling it a dangerous confluence of pseudo-science and ideological overreach.

Crutchfield and Hereth argue that since consuming meat is “morally impermissible” due to climate impacts, policy should support proliferating lone star ticks (the primary vector for AGS) to deter meat-eating by causing allergic reactions. Welcome to the year of the ‘Quad-demic’

 WHEN I WAS a child, we had ‘outbreaks’ of diseases. Living very close to Aberdeen, I miraculously survived the famous (only if you lived near Aberdeen) typhoid outbreak of 1964, which hospitalised hundreds of people. The only thing it killed, temporarily, was the corned beef trade, as the outbreak was traced to a tin of the popular Fray Bentos product. Life soon returned to normal, as did the consumption of tinned meats.

That was the first and last ‘outbreak’ that I can recall. Almost anything that more than a couple of folks have caught since has been named an ‘epidemic’. That sounded much more threatening, until it was superseded by the term ‘pandemic’, which seems to be the ubiquitous phrase for anything that used to be an epidemic.

Trying to distinguish an epidemic from a pandemic is a fruitless task. The definitions seem to differ depending on where you look and, for all intents and purposes, are interchangeable. The problem for the public health brigade is that, clearly, neither term instils sufficient fear into the population, as demonstrated by the Covid-19 fiasco.

Admittedly, they rode high for a time. However, very few people, for example, still wear face masks, apart from a few fainthearts, virtue signallers, and those once again mandated by their NHS employers. Enthusiasm is waning for covid vaccines. Nevertheless, they must be given credit for their tenacity; they simply don’t give up.

In their efforts to paralyse us with fear, pepper the joy of the festive season with a little misery and turn our minds towards the perpetual worship of the NHS, we now have a new category of killer to cope with: the ‘quad-demic’. In case you are interested, this is an allegedly lethal cocktail of ‘flu, Covid-19, respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) and norovirus’.

The quad-demic didn’t seem to do the trick, as the irresponsible British public celebrated the birth of Jesus, visited their families and partied like it was 1999. The outcome? According to NHS England, this has resulted in a ‘tidal wave’ of flu and, in a week, a 70 per cent increase in hospital cases.

On New Year’s Eve, clearly concerned that we were not listening, the quad-demic has been upgraded with the epithet of ‘terrifying’. How do we know this? Apparently, over a quarter of British people, or at least those gullible enough to take a test, have tested positive for influenza. This does not take into account any false positives, which plague this kind of testing, and it does not report how many of these people were symptomatic. In other words, such testing statistics are virtually meaningless.

Professor Sir Stephen Powis, NHS National Medical Director, said that the worst of the tidal wave was on its way. There have been almost 4500 flu patients every day, with 211 people in critical care. Therefore, 0.0078% of the population is hospitalised with flu and 0.00037% is in critical care. Expressed like that, the tidal wave seems more like a puddle in a car park. So, why the fuss? Obviously, it is to do with pressure on the NHS which, above all, must be ‘saved’.

The usual guilt-inducing measures are employed to imply that it is all our fault, thus it has been reported that the surge in infections will continue to pick up pace in the coming days as a result of more people socialising indoors over the Christmas and the New Year period. Mask-wearing is encouraged, social distancing rears its ugly head and our old favourite lockdown-style measures have been recommended by virologist from the University of Warwick, Professor Lawrence Young. Laughably, it is recommended that you isolate yourself if you have the flu. The scenes are eerily familiar – crowded hospitals in China overrun by masked patients seeking medical help as infection tears through the population.

But this time it’s not Covid-19 doing the damage. Instead, doctors are struggling to cope with high rates of sickness caused by a different organism known as human metapneumovirus or HMPV.

The virus causes cold and flu-like symptoms but can be dangerous to certain groups, particularly children and the elderly.

And, worryingly, other countries are also reporting a spike in cases – which have doubled in the UK in just a month.

So how concerned should you be – and could this be the start of the next pandemic? Here’s everything you need to know…

HMPV belongs to the same family of infectious bugs as respiratory syncytial virus (RSV), which is already a common source of the lung infection bronchiolitis during winter – hospitalising around 30,000 children and 18,000 adults in the UK every year.

Respiratory viruses spike in winter because we spend more time indoors and in closer proximity to each other, allowing bugs to spread more easily.

HMPV was first officially identified by a team of Dutch scientists in 2001 but some evidence suggests it’s been circulating for hundreds of years.

You may not have heard of it because it is just one of many viruses (at least 200 at the last count) known to cause cold and flu symptoms in the UK every year.

FEARMONGERING: Mainstream media ramps up bird flu coverage, creating a sense of imminent health crisis

 In a manner starkly resembling the early days of the Wuhan coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, the mainstream media (MSM) has started its grand unveiling of the bird flu as the next big health crisis.

The Atlantic reported that the American people should be deeply concerned. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has confirmed the country's first severe case of human bird flu infection, it claimed. The patient, a Louisiana resident over the age of 65 with underlying medical conditions, is in the hospital with a severe respiratory illness and is in critical condition.

"The patient's exposure to sick and dead birds in backyard flocks has been traced," the news outlet reported.

California Gov. Gavin Newsom added fuel to the fire by declaring a state of emergency after weeks of rising infections among dairy herds and people. Los Angeles public health officials confirmed that two cats died after consuming raw milk that had been recalled due to a risk of bird-flu contamination.

Critics are pointing out that earlier warnings regarding bird flu and H5N1 have been overblown, likely as a means of distributing bird flu vaccines "just in case."

Dr. John Smith, an independent epidemiologist, echoed the same concerns: "It's no secret that the powers that be have a vested interest in keeping the population in a constant state of fear. Bird flu has all the makings of the next big scare. We shouldn't be surprised if they start peddling mutations and variants, just like they did with COVID."

European Committee gives green light to use self-replicating vaccines on citizens of EU countries

 The Committee for Medicinal Products for Human Use has recommended marketing authorisation for Kostaive, a self-replicating mRNA (“saRNA”) injection developed by Arcturus Therapeutics. The final decision for regulatory approval now rests with the European Commission.

The European Commission must reject authorisation for these dangerous saRNA (replicon) vaccines.

On 12 December 2024, the European Committee for Medicinal Products for Human Use (“CHMP”) issued a positive opinion recommending marketing authorisation for Kostaive, a self-replicating (replicon) mRNA injection developed by Arcturus Therapeutics. The final decision for regulatory approval now rests with the European Commission:

In November 2023, Japan’s Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare (MHLW) fully approved CSL and Arcturus Therapeutics’ replicon shot, Kostaive ARCT-154. During the clinical trials for Kostaive, five deaths were reported among participants in the phase 3b study. Australian Lab Loses Hundreds of Deadly Virus Samples

 In 2021, a freezer malfunctioned at a public health virology lab in Queensland, Australia. This incident led to the hurried relocation of hundreds of vials containing deadly viruses to another storage chamber. However, the transfer was conducted hastily and without proper documentation.

By August 2023, authorities discovered that the whereabouts of many of these vials were unknown. Queensland’s Chief Health Officer, John Gerrard, revealed earlier this week that a total of 323 vials had been lost.

He stated that the vials “may have been removed from this secure storage facility and are now lost or otherwise unaccounted for.”

Bovaer Trial...are we being played?

We published an article last week on "Bovaer", the chemical compound, currently being trialled in the UK, which is added to cow feed to reduce methane emissions (allegedly).

Since then the story has grown, and I just wanted to do a quick update and ask a question that's nagging at me, but we'll get to that.

Firstly the good news - the widespread disgust. People all over the country have objected to the "low emission" drug, leading to boycotts of the dairy giant Arla and their associated brands.

Social media users are posting pictures of stacked shelves of unsold Lurpak butter and Cravendale milk.

Smaller farms and organic dairy producers have jumped on the chance for good publicity and released statements declaring themselves "Bovaer free" (Some people have made lists)

Some are even taking potshots and Bill Gates, which is always fun.

The BBC has turned Marianna Spring loose to do a fact-check, and "experts" have reassured her that Bovaer is safe...which was pretty much always going to happen.

A stranger development can be found in The Daily Mail, which has run a few stories on this issue, including publishing a full list of all the products Arla is involved with to enable boycotts.

Why would they do that? Appeasing their audience? Hopping on the bandwagon?

Perhaps.

But there's more. The story isn't actually new, Bovaer was approved by the UK government back in December of 2023 and was already being trialled by Marks & Spencer in April of this year.

So why the big fuss now, a year later?

And now a little itch is asking questions at the back of my mind.

Is it possible this whole story was deliberately cultivated to gauge people's reaction to the planned nationwide roll-out in the future?

Or could it be even subtler than that?

After all, if you wanted to discourage people from eating dairy products and red meat, then advertising the fact you've put potentially toxic additives in the cows' food wouldn't be a bad strategy, would it?

Asian state starts testing airport arrivals for killer disease

Kazakhstan has taken steps to prevent the introduction and spread of Marburg virus, citing a WHO warning.

The health authorities in Kazakhstan have introduced mandatory body temperature checks of passengers arriving in the country's airports from abroad, according to a statement on Monday. 

This comes amid an outbreak of a highly infectious and potentially lethal disease in Africa.

The illness, known as Marburg virus disease (MVD), starts with symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, sore throat, and abdominal pain. In some cases, patients die through extreme blood loss. The virus spreads between people through contact with bodily fluids or with surfaces, such as contaminated bedsheets.

Marburg is from the same family of viruses as Ebola but has been described as more severe.

According to the World Health Organization (WHO), the disease has a fatality rate of up to 88%. An outbreak of MVD was confirmed last month by the health authorities in Rwanda.

 Election Day is just a few short months away, which means the time has once again come for government authorities and the media to start their fearmongering campaign about the latest "election virus" to hit the streets: West Nile Virus.

End of August and early September is usually when mosquito populations really start to explode across the more humid areas of country, including in New York City where city officials have begun "spraying" the streets with chemicals as mitigation.

Thanks to the Wuhan coronavirus (COVID-19) "pandemic," some cities and towns are even launching "voluntary" curfews and lockdown orders as a way to try to mitigate the perceived threat of West Nile Virus.

The town of Plymouth in Massachusetts, for instance, posted a notice that its jurisdiction is at high risk for the spread of mosquito-borne diseases like West Nile. As such, residents and visitors are being told to stay home after dark in order to stay safe.

With monkeypox (mpox) also making headlines, it would seem as though the race is on to see which election virus sticks as the one to upend normal voting day procedures and turn it into another COVID-like mass hysteria event to provide cover for the election thieves to do their thing.

The media is still talking about the latest "strains" of COVID, too, with the FDA having just approved yet another "vaccine" for the dreaded virus. So we are witnessing the emergence of a potentially fate-altering trio of viruses taking center stage as Election Day approaches.

As for West Nile Virus, the claim is that 33 states – 33 is a powerful number in the occult – are now threatened by its spread. Is this true or is it simply a code meant to deceive the world as the string-pullers angle the country towards destruction?
