Family claims a medium led them to their missing mother’s body

A Personal Urge

 Do you know when you suddenly get that impulse, that deep desire, to do something you haven't done in a long time? Its an urge that grows and grows the more you ignore it ... you know what I'm talking about don't you? 

It's like having an impatient child constantly asking for something, in your head ... I want to do it, please let me do it, why can't I do it?

Sounds familiar? Yes? 

Well I have one of those strong urges right now. I'm impatient and needing to do this thing' I've not done in about 5 years ... I'm about to take the plunge and see if I can get to make it happen again. 

I love being in front of an audience, standing there with no script and no idea what I'm going to say to the people. I love looking at all the countless expectant eyes with nothing to say to them, until ... and then it happens, and the 1 -2 hours feels like 5 minutes.  To then get people coming over and thanking me for the information they received that night. For me I won't remember ... for that is how it used to be.

My urge is to perform on stage again as a Clairvoyant and Medium. I'm certain it will happen some time in 2023!

How Materialism Has Restricted Our Understanding of Death

 One of the most difficult things that every human has to deal with is the loss of a loved one. There is tremendous grief associated with loss, including lingering mental health issues and loss of life meaning, and some people never fully recover.

Because of this universally human pain, it is really important that we invest time and money into studies that help to reduce this suffering while also increasing our understanding of what happens after death. This includes studies of mediumship, communicating with those who have died, as well as treatments for grief itself, such as spiritual practice or psychedelic therapy that can help bring meaning and connection back into the person’s life. Instead, the materialist paradigm closes the door to these experiences and their potential healing.

Under the materialist paradigm, there is no awareness after death. Period. This is because under the materialist paradigm, consciousness requires the brain to exist, since awareness is seen as merely a product of brain activity. Therefore, materialism firmly closes the door to any study of consciousness after death, pinching us off from a greater understanding of death beyond the physical process of dying. So in this limited view, all investigations and evidence for mediumship, visitations from deceased loved ones, near death experiences, and past life memories are void to begin with. Physical Mediumship

 Physical mediumship is quite different from mental mediumship. A physical medium, while in a trance state, produces physical evidence of connections with the spirit world to observers in a dimly lit room, during a s’ance, or psychic circle, through the following phenomena: transfiguration, direct voice, apports, levitation and the movement or throwing of objects, knocking, rapping and tapping, spirit lights and materialization. 

A mental medium, or as more commonly referred to, a psychic medium, connects with the spirit world by harnessing visions, images, messages and energies from the spirits and then in turn, relaying them to the person who is receiving the reading. The mental medium is able to give factual evidence about those who have passed, such as specific names, places, detailed descriptions and how they died, without having had any prior knowledge. Communicating With An Intelligent Apparition.

To encounter a disembodied human being, that appears in 'solid form', for the first time can be a daunting and challenging experience.

The initial reaction is to push the sudden appearance aside as if it was a hallucination or a trick of the light. That's okay for those times it only happens once; and then we are likely to be left with the lingering questions 'what did I see?', 'what did they want?', 'who was it?' and the questions might never get answered.

If the 'apparition' was then to appear a second or even a third time, what then? It cannot be readily dismissed as a hallucination. It is therefore important to establish an understanding of the situation. Questions to consider include:

(1)    Is the apparition appearing in the company of other people?

(2)    Can anyone else see the apparition, or are you the solitary observer?     

(3)    Is the apparition connected to yourself or someone else?

(4)    Is the apparition appearing as a residual form, or has it some evidence of intelligence? 

The latter question means observing the apparition and noticing if it is aware of you or others in the room. It is at this stage that a connection with the apparition should be made to establish the reason for the visitation. 

At first this will appear a daunting and  a somewhat challenging course of action. The encounter is likely to be a life changing event, as it is meant to be. If the former human s proving to be intelligent then it has put a large amount of faith in establishing the connection with you. From personal experience of countless instances of these encounters, it is imperative to realise most connections will be made on a mental level.  Most of the 'talking' undertaken by the departed human will be by way of mental telepathy using your mind faculties. This means it is likely to be your own mind voice that speaks. However, don't take anything away from a connection in this way It will be possible to determine such things as vocal accents, potential speak impediments etc etc.

It is vital to establish a connection that works for you and can be a quick and strong link. Often the information will be fleeting one liners. With your own mind convincing you it is nothing more than a vivid imagination. It is vital to accept the situation is real and an actual conversation is being undertaken.

If the deceased human turns out to be connected to someone else in the room, then discretion will be required when choosing whether or not to pass the information on to that person. A Psychic Sense of Taste ....

 Many times, in the last thirty plus years as a sensitive & intuitive mediator (I've dispensed with the crass new age terms 'medium',and 'clairvoyant') I've experienced moments when the communicator has impressed on me their sense of taste. I would tell client's what their grandfather or husband's favourite whiskey was by the taste sensation that was suddenly in my mouth.

On other occasions I could tell client's what their late partner's favourite foods were, again by a sudden taste of chilli prawns, for example. 

It has happened to me on numerous occasions,  and it has become second nature to me. A tool with which to provide undeniable evidence that a late partner or friend was indeed with me. On a few occasions I've been able to let client's know what their late partner's last meal was, again by this same sensation.

I've helped clear up mysteries .. tasting alcohol on my breath for example, which have confirmed the way a partner had passed.

What then is this 'taste sensation' that I have used to good effect during my career? Clairgustance ....

A Risky Business?

Mediumship demonstrations, paranormal investigations and communication with other dimensions as an intuitive & sensitive. All these activities used to be a regular way of life all the way through the 1990's, through the early 21st century until early 2018.

But now they are currently a thing of the past. Something is not right any more, to undertake such dangerous and risky practices. All the way through this period, everything was blind faith, and undertaken blindly. Connections were assumed to be with who entities claimed they were.

Exchanged information was accurate and a high percentage of predictions given by these unseen entities proved to be correct. But then ... a realisation dawned, what if these entities were somehow confidence tricksters? Clever manipulators who were somehow masquerading as departed humans; and were able to access the akashic records of human experiences?

What was taken to be safe and a treasured gift to work with ... was suddenly discarded like an unwanted toy. And the practices are rarely undertaken now. They still are pursued, but in a much more guarded fashion - Matthew James

Voices & Images From The Mind Field

When all around is silent, and I enter into an almost trance like state. I'm drifting in to sleep, but its not sleep; its the becoming aware of the other states of consciousness. The conscious mind is no longer the lone state of mind to receiver & transmit imagery.

Accomplished mindfulness permits the silence to be entered into, and all thoughts now abate. The mind is an empty place, until the random thoughts arrive. Via the mind field words and sentences lift into conscious awareness.

Words and sentences which there has been no conscious effort to produce. Direct thoughts from separate consciousness. Random and stray connections at first, give way to a more complex series of thoughts.

The mind field is now the point of observation as invites to join in the stray conversations are heard. Shocking at first to hear these mind voices calling you by your earthbound name.

Only 2% Of Spirit Messages Are Actual Mediumship

We could scream! The on going problem of the inexperienced wannabe psychics who claim to be MEDIUMS and pass off their 'messages' as 'Message From Spirit' ... when in truth it is anything but from spirit.

We could also scream for the gullible public in the audiences on the receiving end of these 'message' who believe them to be from spirit.

Actual REAL mediumship is damn hard to achieve. It is a TWO WAY COMMUNICATION between the human being and the ex-human being on another dimension. It is an ACTUAL conversation going on, that creates a powerful vibration that EVERYONE in the audience feels. It draws everyone in, and they feel the emotion of the connection, It is a RARE occurrence.

Most of what would be mediums are practising is either clairvoyance, where they are conveying what they see, hear, taste or feel to the audience in a ONE WAY stream usually AFTER the ex-human has passed them the information. Or they are receiving psychic images and impressions which they are describing to their audience ...

EITHER WAY, it is not mediumship. As little as 2% of ALL communications before an audience are MEDIUMSHIP. That is a very tiny percentage. The other 98% is made up of cold reading, assumption, guesswork, psychic insights and clairaudience. Think about that before you next see a live medium.

And who is making this statement? Matthew James ... a clairvoyant and medium with over 30 years experience in these matters. It is not as easy to communicate as the wannabe mediums think or portray. Magick Journal - Facial Recognition in Full Flow

I was already late, due to an over-run, for my  12 noon billing. Thus I had no time to prepare, or call for any pre-show connections. I walked into the show room and introduced myself, whilst looking around at the 100+ expectant faces.

I needn't have worried. After little prompting my connections began thanks to something I call 'facial recognition' ... no cold readings here. No asking questions. I was straight in with connections and strong messages. Not just 'they are here to say hello'.

And the accuracy. Except one person I gave wrong information to, until I looked directly opposite to a lady with the same glasses and the same colour of hair. My facial recognition had been confused between the two ... but it was sorted easily.

It went so quickly that I'd overrun by ten or so minutes. The audience didn't seem to care. I apologised for not being able to get round everyone. I left to the sound of rapturous applause. I was promptly followed by a large section of the audience ... for an impromptu question time.

It was a very satisfying demonstration. Note to self: explain in a blog post exactly what Facial Recognition is ....

Spirit communication? Report of widow briefly reuniting with her husband during materialized seance

S.O.T.T: British Spiritualist journalist Maurice Barbanell commented about materialization seances in his 1949 memoir Power of the Spirit. He described seeing visitors from the ascended realm take shape "in what is, to all intents and purposes, a complex duplicate of the human body":

You see and handle forms which are solid and life-like. They are not ghosts. These materialised forms have a heartbeat and a pulse beat; their faces are perfectly formed with normal hues; their hands, complete even to fingernails, are warm to the touch and the grip is firm. It is most certainly not the much maligned and cliched 'new age' hogwash that has given the natural phenomenon such a bad name ...

Over three decades, we've been able to successfully 'back-engineer' the communication process, and gain valuable insights from both sides of the phenomenon - from this world's perspective, and also more dramatically, from the perspective of contactees from other dimensions.

In summary, every part of this universal consciousness is a collective. We are one mind, one awareness with an infinite array of individual voices. The original one is made up of everyone and everything. When you are able to tap into this oneness, you can purposely make contact with other aspects of this unique oneness that we are.

Mental mediumship

Mental mediumship differs considerably from physical mediumship. When a medium communicates with a dead person and passes on messages the communication takes place from consciousness to consciousness.

There is an intelligent power behind the mental mediumship as in the physical mediumship. The difference is that this intelligence communicates with a 2nd person (here the medium) as a tool where a ‘translation’ and interpretation goes on in the passing of information to 3rd person. When a psychic gives advice and guidance the information is often understood and ‘read’ from the spiritual body of the client and a so called ‘reading’ takes place. Every piece of information about a human being lies in the energy body – Past, present, future.
