The Britons responsible for the building of the iconic Stonehenge  were probably black, a study has suggested. 

Data from 348 ancient genomes gathered from across Eurasia have been reconstructed by scientists at the University of Ferrara in Italy which show almost all Europeans had dark skin until around 3,000 years ago. 

With Stonehenge, just outside the town of Glastonbury (REALLY?), being constructed around 5,000 years ago, experts have said we can assume the builders had dark skin. 

ntil around 1,700 years ago, the majority of Europeans had dark skin, the authors of the study say, adding that most of the ancient Greeks and Romans, and the Britons who built Stonehenge, had dark skin, eyes and hair. 

The study confirms that the shift to lighter skin, thanks to the movement of people to higher latitudes and more vitamin D intake as a result, was slower than previously thought. 

Experts are still unsure why the change from darker to light skin was so slow.

The Pictures of Stonehenge They Don’t Want You to See

[Humans Are Free]: Stonehenge, an ancient monument that attracts millions of tourists a year holds many secrets. One of the lesser known is that the standing stones we see today, in fact date back less than 50 years, as a result of numerous restorations that have taken place for over 100 years.

According to what we have known for quite some time know, the incredible stone complex in Wiltshire, England was built according to archaeologists and studies somewhere from 3000 BC to 2000 BC.

Radiocarbon dating in 2008 suggested that the first stones were raised between 2400 and 2200 BC, whilst another theory suggests that bluestones may have been raised at the site as early as 3000 BC.

According to a new study by archaeologists and geologists from the University College London (UCL) the stones of Stonehenge originated in the Preseli Hills, Pembrokeshire, 225 kilometers from one of the most enigmatic ancient monuments on the Planet: Stonehenge.

Even though researchers believed the stones originated from the Preseli Hills since about 1920, they never knew the exact location from where the stones were quarried from.

Adding to the mystery of how ancient mankind managed to transport the boulders, researchers are questioning the age of the monument.

Ancient people quarried the stones sometime between 3400 BC and 3200 BC, while the monument was constructed, according to mainstream scholars around 2900 BC, this means that the ancient monument could be in fact 500 years older than previously thought.

But while these details have come to light in recent years, many people are unaware that Stonehenge as we see it today was in FACT rebuilt, several times, and dozens of images prove that the standing stones we see today, in fact dates back less than 50 years.

Last year, there was a report from writer/researcher Maria Wheatley of an elongated-skull Neolithic Queen found alone in her own large barrow alongside another barrow where hundreds of elongated-skull people were killed. We're not sure at this point whether this Stonehenge Neolithic Queen was one of the natural elongated skulls bearing the two distinctive nerve-blood vessel holes at the back, or the cosmetic cranial-boarded skulls. 'The Future Of Stonehenge'

Another disturbing image is illustrated here. I call this 'The Future Of Stonehenge'. It depicts Stonehenge being under water. The suggestion is of the Salisbury Plain of England being claimed by the sea. This prophetic image first appeared in my mind when I was 7 or 8. I've added the meteorite like fire in the sky, as I don't understand what I saw. It was a flash of light across the sky in my vision. 

For this vision to be a future reality the United Kingdom would have undergone a major earth change with most of the South West of England being overtaken by the sea. A scary thought. But this is an image which has stuck with me for most of my life.

Scientists in Britain say they've discovered huge underground stone monuments near Stonehenge, in England. Ground penetrating radar was used to find the site which has lain hidden because it's buried underneath. Professor Vince Gaffney - one of the lead archaeologists who found the stones - told BBC Newsday the significance of the discovery.

The author provides a detailed information about how the British government/military built this new age cult site and speculates the fact that it may have actually built from scratch or at least remodeled. Hidden henge: Archaeologists discover huge Stonehenge 'sibling' nearby

S.O.T.T: Archaeologists have discovered that Stonehenge had a huge stone sibling just two miles to the northeast. Using powerful ground-penetrating radar, which can 'x-ray' archaeological sites to a depth of up to four metres, investigators from Birmingham and Bradford universities and from the Ludwig Boltzmann Institute in Vienna have discovered a 330 metre long line of more than 50 massive stones, buried under part of the bank of Britain's largest pre-historic henge.

"Up till now, we had absolutely no idea that the stones were there," said the co-director of the investigation Professor Vince Gaffney of Birmingham University. The geophysical evidence suggests that each buried stone is roughly three metres long and 1.5 metres wide and is positioned horizontally, not vertically, in its earthen matrix.

However, it's conceivable that they originally stood vertically in the ground like other standing stones in Britain. It is thought that they were probably brought to the site shortly before 2500BC. They seem to have formed the southern arm of a c-shaped ritual 'enclosure', the rest of which was made up of an artificially scarped natural elevation in the ground.

The c-shaped enclosure - more than 330 metres wide and over 400 metres long - faced directly towards the River Avon. The monument was later converted from a c-shaped to a roughly circular enclosure, now known as Durrington Walls - Britain's largest pre-historic henge, roughly 12 times the size of Stonehenge itself...read more>>>...

Who Really Built Stonehenge and Why? Part 2

THE MYSTERIOUS CONSTRUCTION OF STONEHENGE
However, as I stated earlier, there is no proof to what purpose Stonehenge served. Its creation remains a mystery, as are the construction methods to move, cut and place in position the mighty stones.

The endearing, but slightly crazy, scientific theory regarding the construction method goes like this: ‘Somehow the enormous stones were first transported to the Salisbury plains. The stones must have been too heavy for simple timber rollers, so they might have been transported on sledges along greased tracks of wood, pulled by ropes made from the plant fibres of lime bark, soaked in water for weeks. Modern engineering simulations have surmised that the massive uprights must have been hauled into place then tipped, using stone counterweights, into position. In order to fix the 9 ton lintels into place, the most likely method of construction would have to have been via the use of an earth ramp piled up against the stone uprights. The lintel would then have to have been hauled by ropes to get them into position.’

It defies logic the level of understanding and technology that was required to construct the Stonehenge architecture. The lintels are all perfectly horizontal, yet the ground on which the stones are built is sloping. The Stonehenge builders will have employed the use of advanced carpentry techniques, as the stone lintels are dressed with mortises which are a perfect fit onto the tenons located at the top of each supporting sarcen stone.

The tongues, which are like toggle joints, link each lintel within the outer circle to its neighbour. Amazing construction!

I cannot accept that the construction of Stonehenge was with the basic ‘Neolithic’ tools that the scientific world would have us believe. The advanced level of construction shown in the Stonehenge architecture is on a par with architectural construction in today’s buildings. The ingenuity of the builders is very impressive. Their understanding of the mathematics and astrology linked to Stonehenge is more advanced, I would say, that what we understand today.

Was it Neolithic Man that built Stonehenge or someone else? If it WAS Neolithic Man who created Stonehenge then they were much more advanced than current science and history gives them credit for. If it wasn’t Neolithic Man who created Stonehenge, then who was it?

WHO BUILT STONEHENGE AND WHY?
In my opinion, I would say that Neolithic Man was more advanced than science makes out, plus there is likely to have been some kind of ET intervention in order to create such an incredible feat of architecture. You only have to walk amongst the stones, and within the energy field of what remains of the Stonehenge complex, to experience for yourself the difference between the Stonehenge vibration and that of the ‘outside world’. It still retains its unique and magical energy.

I had the privilege to walk within Stonehenge, in the mid 1990’s, undertaking a workshop with my old friend David Icke, and it was during this workshop that I felt for myself the energy of Stonehenge. I found that the sarcen stones had a clear and distinctive vibration. There was a barely audible humming sound emanating from the stones. The energy field within Stonehenge felt very ‘expectant and responsive’ like it was anticipating a sound, a word or a chant to be activated. During the workshop we meditated, drummed and chanted. We worked with the energy field of Stonehenge, and I have to say the experience was quite breathtaking as there clearly is SOMETHING magical and healing about the Stonehenge complex.

It is not the stones themselves, but the energy field and the atmosphere created by the positioning and sizing of the stones. No doubt the Preseli Bluestones were chosen for this purpose.

My own theory, for what it’s worth, is that Stonehenge was built by the descendants of the builders of the Great Pyramids of Giza. There is a strong connection between Neolithic Britain and the Pharaohs of Egypt. Many of the latter families of Egypt are known to have fled to Britannia/Albion before, and around, the Neolithic Period of Britain. Stonehenge was built by advanced technology, probably beyond our own. The technology is likely to have employed lasers for cutting the stones, and also a gravitational or vibrational technology employed to lift the stones. Modern day science is only now touching on these technologies. So it’s perhaps a case of us rediscovering a technology we once had at our disposal? A technology taught to us by an advanced culture?

The Stonehenge complex is likely to have been a great healing centre which will have been known throughout the ancient world. The fact that the Preseli Bluestone have a strong connection with the electrical impulses created by the human body, and in particular the heart, suggests strongly the intention of the stones. I perceive Stonehenge as a generator of healing energy. Its energy field will have had a considerable effect on the physical bodies of those who entered the complex. The more people who entered the stones, the more powerful the energy field. I feel it is also a receiver and transmitter of the energy fields that are ‘summoned’ or created by those who used the Stonehenge stones.

Human history fails to record, and report, these ancient megalithic sites for one reason and one reason only – their existence has been deliberately deleted from the historic records because some agency does not wish us to know the true history of these sites. It is a sad fact, and one that means we are never likely to know what sites like Stonehenge are really for. Stonehenge has been a significant site in human history, its open and circular shape indicates it is some kind of advanced electrical circuitry linked to the earth plane, as are so many of the other stone circles. Are they directly linked in some way to the Egyptian and Mayan pyramids? Do they generate energy which are then housed in the pyramids? Are we ever likely to know? Maybe … but only when this planet has been freed from the hidden tyranny that controls the Earth.

Who Really Built Stonehenge and Why? Part 1

“Circles of stones, laid down by ancient minds, matched exactly the vibrations of thought form conduits. A circle of stone is in fact a  thought frequency transmission station. It gives out signals to the universe at all times. It also receives signals at all times. Recorded in their enclosures is all the collective ancient knowledge, plus any additional knowledge they may receive from elsewhere in the universe.” – Matthew James 1995

I’ve visited many of the stone circles throughout the UK over the years. Included in my list of visited circles are Long Meg & Her Daughters (The last working Druid circle in The UK), Avebury, The Rollwright Stones, Castlerigg, Swinside and of course STONEHENGE. They are among some of my favourite, and most visited places in the UK. Being a sensitive (And also a Druid!) I have always been attuned in some way to the individuality of each stone circle, because they are all unique. I visited my first stone circle (Castlerigg in Cumbria UK) as a nine year old and instinctively entered the stone circle in a very ritualistic way, and have treated my visits to stone circles the same way ever since:

“I wander around the outside of the stones slowly, walking in a clockwise direction (Positive force direction in the Northern Hemisphere), touching each stone in turn. Coming to a halt at the entry point to the circle before wandering over to the circle centre and closing my eyes. I gather my thoughts and observe the energy within the enclosure of the stones. I then wander slowly around the circle, touching each stone in turn. It is a ritual of welcome which always gives me a good impression of the stone circle.”

In this particular article, we are going to explore the world famous Stonehenge, which lies in Wiltshire, UK, approximately 2 miles (3.2 km) west of Amesbury and 8 miles (13 km) north of Salisbury. It is one of the most famous sites in the world and comprises the remains of a ring of standing stones set within earthworks. Archaeologists theorise that Stonehenge was built somewhere between 3000 BC and 2000 BC. Radiocarbon dating in 2008 indicates that the first stones were raised around 2300 BC.

However there is another theory that the sarcen bluestones may well have been raised at the site as early as 3000 BC. Stonehenge is built from a series of massive 30 ton bluestone sarsen stones, as well as numerous smaller bluestones.

A BUILDING PROJECT PLANNED BY A HIGH INTELLIGENCE?
The location of the source of the bluestones had been a mystery up until 1923 when a geologist, Herbert H. Thomas, pinpointed the source of one type of the stones, known as ‘Dolerite Bluestones’, to a rocky outcrop known as Carn Meini in the Preseli Hills of western Wales. This provided weight to the theory that the Stonehenge builders transported the stones south to the Bristol Channel, then somehow floated the stones to the site by sea.

There has been huge speculation as to the purpose of Stonehenge. There has never been anything found in the form of ancient written documentation, or even oral tradition, that indicates why Stonehenge is where it is, and what it is for. There is not ONE record of the construction of this incredible feat of architecture (Yes, architecture.) recorded anywhere in English history or even in folklore. I find that rather odd! Where the mighty monolith is situated would have been farming land managed by ‘simple folk’. Surely we cannot believe that it was these ‘simple folk’ that built Stonehenge on an apparent whim?

It is estimated that so many MILLIONS of hours would have been spent constructing the stones, as well as crafting the stones. There was also the incredible feat of transporting the 30 ton blocks by river, by sea and then across the land to their final resting place. That is a seemingly impossible feat in itself. There is the perfect mathematics involved in the construction, plus the choosing and the locating of the bluestones.

Does this sound like the simple and dumb folk we are led to believe wandered England 3000 years ago? It doesn’t sound like that to me … not all. It sounds more like a building project planned by someone of high intelligence who knew exactly WHERE the stones must be built; what stones to use and why.

THE PRESELI BLUESTONES
The stones are a mystery themselves. Why did the Stonehenge builders choose Dolerite Bluestones and how did they know where to look for them? The Preseli Hills of western Wales are the only known location of bluestone in the UK. So what was it they were seeking with regard to the function of Stonehenge? The stones being the major component of their architecture?

The Preseli Bluestone has been found to have a strong connection with the electrical impulses created by the human body; and in particular they have a strong connection with the human heart. Bluestone is said to clear the heart centre, plus strengthen the electrical workings of the heart. This is said to improve the electrical communication throughout the body, which in turn balances and strengthens the immune system. The electrical connection does not stop there, but helps us to link into the electromagnetic field of the Earth itself. So, evidentially, may have had these special qualities in mind when planning the construction of Stonehenge. This only deepens the mystery. I still can’t get my head round the fact its construction is NOT recorded anywhere. It didn’t just appear overnight!!

Stonehenge was described as England’s 2nd wonder in Historia Anglorum, written about 1130 AD. The Historia Anglorum was written by Henry, Archdeacon of Huntingdon who stated that “Stonehenge enters into history indisputably”. He was straightforward in his mention of it. “This second of the wonders is made of stones like doorways. No one can imagine, he says, how the stones were raised or why.” The Welsh Geoffrey of Monmouth wrote in his Historia Regum Britanniae that he is “not curious to argue and dispute” where the stones came from. He would rather lament “with much grief, that the authors of so notable a monument are buried, in oblivion”.

THE PURPOSE OF STONEHENGE WAS?
Stonehenge has been linked to Merlin and to the Druids, though there really is no proof of any of these tales. It is all speculation. Geoffrey of Monmouth reported that the British king Aurelius Ambrosius had been instructed by Merlin to fetch from “Mount Killaraus in Ireland, a marvellous mystic and healing structure of stones which set, up again around the dead would stand for ever”. These stones were said to have been fetched by Merlin using his magic in dismantling them and re-erecting them. It was said that within this ‘Stanheng’, this chorea gigantum or Giants’ Dance’ Aurelius was buried, as well as Uther and Constantine.”

There have been numerous suggestions as to the possible use for Stonehenge. These include a burial place for kings and knights; an observatory; a place of healing; a meeting place; an ancient calendar; a UFO landing pad; a place of worship. However, the one with the most weight according to recent research and evidence is that Stonehenge was a ‘Prehistoric Lourdes’. People went to Stonehenge to be made well. Two of Britain's leading archaeologists, both world-renowned experts on Stonehenge, Professor Timothy Darvill and Professor Geoff Wainwright, believe Stonehenge was a site of healing. Their assessment comes from a reinterpretation of the stones of the henge and the bones buried nearby.

Darvill and Wainwright believe the smaller bluestones in the centre of the circle, rather than the huge sarsen stones on the perimeter, hold the key to the purpose of Stonehenge.
