In a piece for the Telegraph, ‘Should white people really stop having children?’, Michael Deacon introduces readers to a German academic anti-natalist feminist called Dr Vera Brunschweiger.

She writes books urging women to remain “child-free”, like her. In an interview at the weekend with a leading Australian news website, she claimed that Right-wing Western politicians “want women to have more and more white babies” so that they can use it as an excuse to turn away refugees from “the global south” (formerly known as the Third World). In her opinion, this is “a really dangerous development”. The Woke Quango That Wants to Cull Every Wild Pony on Dartmoor

 Woke quango Natural England wants to cull every wild pony on Dartmoor, citing overgrazing concerns, despite a 2023 Government review recommending their numbers be increased. The Mail has the story.

A dozen or so Dartmoor Hill Ponies are huddled in small groups on the misty moor before us, with tails swishing, nostrils flaring gently and tangled manes blowing in the breeze.

Several are dozing with heads nodding low, bodies still. Others fuss over each other, nibbling at their backs with strong yellow teeth, satisfying the odd itch and gently whickering as their sweet, horsey smell drifts over.

A furry foal leaps and bounds and then takes shelter by her mother under the drizzle.

Two at the back are romping like teenagers – rearing up, play-fighting, jostling each other, then pausing to graze. Just as they have for nearly 4,500 years.

Because these wild ponies – none bigger than 12-and-a-half-hands high – are astonishingly hardy.

Ever since the Bronze Age, they have endured icy winters, blizzards and frozen streams, buffeting winds and hot, dry summers. Adapting and surviving thanks to their unique genetics, passed down through countless generations to today’s 1,000-strong herd.

And doing their bit to keep the 365-square-mile moor’s delicate ecosystem in balance.

But, sadly, not for much longer.

Because if Natural England gets its way, most of them will be culled in October – taken off the moors, euthanised with bolt guns and sent to the knacker’s yard. And the herd will be utterly decimated.

Yes, you read correctly, it is Natural England – the Government quango responsible for protecting the country’s land, flora and fauna – which has opened the door to a potential cull.

All of which has, not surprisingly, caused a right old furore.

It started when the organisation ruled that the “stocking density” – the number of livestock that farmers are permitted to keep – must be reduced on Dartmoor by between 50 and 89%, to prevent overgrazing, which reduces biodiversity.

And to the horror of farmers, landowners, conservationists and, particularly, members of the charity Friends of The Dartmoor Hill Pony (The Friends), for the first time wild ponies were regarded as livestock.

This means that farmers who graze their animals on the moor will be forced to choose between their cattle and sheep, which pay the bills, and their ponies, which don’t – despite attracting visitors from all around the world, as the emblem of Dartmoor National Park since 1951 and a crucial part of the heritage here. …

The title is from an article in the Telegraph by a retired professor of Social Work Education at Dundee University called Jane Fenton. Professor Fenton served as a social worker in the criminal justice system before going into academia to teach the subject. She has plenty to say about what she believes have been destructive changes, and being white has been turned into a synonym for racism:

I have seen situations where social work has saved lives, but in recent years the profession has become captured by fundamentally political concepts that can rob social workers of their agency and, in some cases, put the population at large at risk.

In the past, social work seminars at university were lively places where students would discuss ideas and different approaches to problems. These are the crucial discussions that shape how the social workers of the future will do their jobs.

But around 2015, things changed – Gen Z began arriving on campus, having spent much of their childhood and adolescence on smartphones chasing ‘likes’, and in classrooms where ideas (initially developed in the US) about systemic racism, decolonisation, patriarchy and oppression had taken hold.

Now, if you walk into a social work classroom, you’ll often find silence. This is because many students are afraid to depart from the orthodoxy that has permeated both actual social work and the teaching of it: critical social justice theory.

Under this theory, which is seen by many as the only morally acceptable way to approach social work today, society is explained by the power differentials between the oppressed and the oppressor. It is often taught as an all-encompassing truth rather than what it is: a strongly contested way of seeing the world.

At its very core is the power-and-privilege hierarchy. At the top of the hierarchy: straight white men. Everyone else is arranged underneath, depending on their identity, with significant moral status conferred on those who belong to groups in the ‘victimised’ category. If you are a black person, you are oppressed; if you are a woman, you are oppressed. If you are a disabled black woman, you are very oppressed. The RAF Cadet Suspended for Naming Islam as a UK Security Threat Should be Immediately Reinstated

 How has it come about that an RAF cadet has been suspended from his officer training course for saying that Islam is the main security threat to the UK? The wokification of the RAF is the obvious answer. But what has allowed that to take place? 

The current head of the RAF is Air Chief Marshall Harv Smyth. Last August he took over from Sir Rich Knighton, who has become Chief of the Defence Staff. Air Chief Marshall Smyth actually has a distinguished combat record. Joining the RAF in 1991, he spent 15 years as a frontline Harrier pilot and weapons instructor flying hundreds of operational missions over Bosnia, Kosovo, Serbia, Iraq and Afghanistan.

What is behind the trend in military leaders shortening their Christian names? Is it because they want to make themselves look ‘modernised’, in New Labour parlance? Are they imitating the public-school-educated former Labour Prime Minister Anthony Blair, who reportedly told his first cabinet meeting in 1997 “call me Tony”? If so, it would go a long way to explain why they are easy prey for Left-wing bureaucrats in the Ministry of Defence wanting to impose wokery on the Armed Forces.

Air Chief Marshall Smyth ought to order the immediate reinstatement of the cadet who made the comment, which reportedly occurred during a question-and-answer session in a training exercise at RAF Cranwell in Lincolnshire just before Easter. Wales Welcomes You to the Anti-Racist Metaverse – Come and Learn About “White Privilege”

Welsh teenagers are being taught about “white privilege” in an interactive virtual reality world, after the Welsh Government spent more than £1.2 million of taxpayers’ money rolling out a so-called “anti-racist metaverse”. The Telegraph has more.

Pupils are invited to explore a “vast, accessible and immersive 3D metaverse environment” centred on a “grand atrium” adorned with portraits of civil rights campaigners such as Malcolm X, Betty Campbell and Nelson Mandela.

As teenagers pass through the online space, they cross a series of themed areas covering topics including the hardships faced by Romani travellers, the Bosnian genocide and famines in India under British rule.

A “curriculum” room allows pupils to move between conference-style stands where pressing a button opens interactive lessons in “black feminism” and “decolonising politics”.

One of these stands looks at “sociology through an anti-racist lens” and explores “whiteness in language, policies, research and how these and privilege impact social, learning and employment environments”.

Pupils are also invited to use the metaverse to learn about a branch of feminist theory that argues “men have an inherent psychological need to subjugate women”.

Its lessons accuse a former Conservative minister of “dog whistling” over a campaign pamphlet that criticised plans for land to house traveller communities.

The project was started in 2024 as part of an official commitment for Wales to become the world’s first anti-racist country by 2030.

The Welsh Government said the online space was only used in further education colleges, where pupils study for A-levels or apprenticeships and are typically 16–18 years old.

DEI and a stark admission – it’s a war against straight white males

A MONTH ago Compact magazine published The Lost Generation, an article by the leftist millennial writer Jacob Savage. It went viral and divided opinion. To conservatives it was old news or even faintly humorous. To millennial leftists it was an uncomfortable revelation, though it’s highly unlikely Savage will effect any long-term change in their ideology or behaviour since their entire ethos has an inbuilt requirement pushing it towards ever greater extremes.

What was it he wrote that made them – risking a thrashing in the waters of the online moment – share, and thus acknowledge, their shock and discomfort?

Savage explains, in a way more devastating for being regretful rather than vicious, what the impact of DEI policies looks like. He describes the rather obvious fact that Diversity, Equity and Inclusion policies might better be described as Discrimination, Entitlement and Injustice. It also comes from an insider, a signed-up fellow traveller. Savage is a screenwriter who ticks all the boxes in terms of the politics and ideology now demanded in his industry.

This is a writer who ‘cared about social justice’, voted Democrat, and subscribed to all the uniform opinions and highly delusional leftist self-image of themselves as bringers of justice, righters of wrongs, and champions of the poor, the oppressed and the vulnerable.

Savage begins his critique with personal details of hardship, referencing his poverty as he struggled in his career and talking about a specific incident when a screenplay and a writing post were denied to him because he is a white male (explicitly stated to him by the industry figures involved in the decision). He doesn’t phrase this in an angry or even annoyed fashion, but almost wistfully, like a man describing a beloved girlfriend he let go.

The use of personal experience is of course entirely in line with woke prioritisation of emotion and feeling, especially in ‘lived experience’ narratives of discrimination and the tendency towards ‘my truth’ accounts. What makes it so effective is that Savage knows this literature and has spent much of his life agreeing with it, but turns its devices back upon his own treatment and that of white millennial males generally....<<<Read More>>>...

Teacher Imprisoned for Refusing to Use Student’s “They/Them” Pronouns

 Enoch Burke is an Evangelical Christian and a teacher of German and history in Ireland. He has been imprisoned multiple times since late 2022 for breaching a High Court injunction that barred him from his place of work. 

The dispute originated when Burke objected on religious grounds to address a ‘transitioning’ student by a new name and the pronoun “they”, arguing that complying with this request would violate his Christian beliefs and constitutional rights.

He has spent a total of 560 days in prison since then and racked up €225,000 in court fines. As of yesterday, he is back in Mountjoy prison again.

Mr Justice Brian Cregan instructed Enoch Burke be brought to court to “give his version of events”. Speaking in the High Court yesterday, Mr Cregan ruled that Mr Burke had indeed trespassed on the grounds of the school on 15 and 16 January, in what he called a “fragrant breach” of a court order, adding, “You have been dismissed. It is not your place of work. What part of that sentence do you not understand?”

When Burke was released last week, Mr Cregan had said that he was let out for “one reason and one reason only” – to prepare for his case against the appeals body. Burke insisted he was going back to the school “to do a day’s work”, and following his arrest yesterday, said “this is all about transgenderism”. ...<<<Read More>>>....

BBC “Indoctrinating Children With Pro-Trans Agenda”

 The BBC has been accused of “indoctrinating” children with pro-trans programmes after a number of children’s shows broadcast by the corporation uncritically presented activist perspectives. The Telegraph has the story.

When presented with a dossier of examples of the pro-trans “bias”, BBC executives dismissed the concerns and the content remains online.

The BBC is in crisis after the Telegraph exposed an internal 8,000-word memo compiled by a whistleblower that alleged widespread bias within the corporation. The corporation has come under fire for the misleading editing of a Donald Trump speech, as well as alleged impartiality in its coverage of the conflict in Gaza, climate change and gender identity.

This week Richard Burgess, a senior BBC News executive, admitted the broadcaster had made mistakes in its coverage of transgender issues.

The fresh accusations are likely to add to concerns about impartiality across BBC programme-making more broadly.

Britain “No Longer Believes in Free Speech for Christians”

 Christians in Britain do not enjoy free speech, according to Felix Ngole, a social worker who is appealing a court ruling that found he was not discriminated against when he missed out on a job because of his traditional Christian views on LGBT issues. The Telegraph has the story.

Felix Ngole, 47, applied to be a mental health support worker with Touchstone Leeds, based in Wakefield, West Yorkshire in 2022, and was offered the role. However, the offer was withdrawn after the charity’s management found reports on a case Mr Ngole won against Sheffield University in 2019.

He had challenged the university’s decision to prevent him from completing his social work degree after it became aware of a Facebook row in which he said homosexuality and same-sex marriage were sins.

An employment tribunal in Leeds ruled that Touchstone Leeds’ decision to rescind the job offer was justified, because of concerns about reputational damage and the mental health impact on service users who might discover his beliefs online.

On Wednesday, Mr Ngole appeared at the Employment Appeal Tribunal in London to challenge the ruling.

Speaking ahead of his appeal hearing, he said: “The ruling ultimately sets a dangerous precedent as it gives employers the freedom to block Christians, and anyone who doesn’t promote LGBTQI+ ideology, from employment.

“If we get to the point where if you don’t celebrate and support LGBT ideology you can’t have a job, then every Christian out there doesn’t have a future. You can study as much as you like, but you will not have a chance.

 This is an attempt to be exact about something going on everywhere. There is a standard move made by the Far-Left-Centrist-Mainstream-Establishment, in fact, by everyone: academics, journalists, politicians. I have mentioned it before in articles for the Daily Sceptic. But it deserves exact specification and emphasis, as it is very important. This move is to allege that there is a problem with the ‘far Right’ or ‘extremists’ while, at the same time, replicating – without saying so – exactly what they are doing.

It is a pot-kettle-black scenario, but a subtle version of it: and, alas, it is sufficiently subtle that many in the thoughtless regime and its intelligentsia repeat the move without being conscious of what they are doing.

Let me offer as an exhibit, Sadiq Khan. If I had the patience I could show you this in Keir Starmer, the Guardian, Mary Beard und so weiter. But one example will be clear, to get the point across.

On October 13th Sadiq Khan wrote a comment in the Guardian under the headline ‘All beliefs are welcome in London – we cannot allow extremists to divide us‘. It was a defence of peace and harmony. That part of it was unobjectionable. No one wants violence. But it was also a defence of diversity that used diversity as a way of excluding those who are against diversity. Look at the headline. Deputy PM David Lammy accused Nigel Farage of flirting with the Hitler Youth. Sir Keir Starmer accused the Reform leader of racism. From September 1st, it was reported by Reform’s Zia Yusuf, that Farage had had his state-funded personal protection scaled back by 75%.

The term ‘stochastic terrorism‘ (or assassination, or murder) has come into common usage since Thomas Crooks shot President Trump in Butler, Pennsylvania in July 2024. In this context, ‘stochastic’ refers to the creation of a public mood or environment where something that might happen becomes more likely to occur. It was always likely that Trump would be the target of a would-be assassin, but by repeatedly identifying him as a putative fascist dictator, so the theory goes, such an assassination was made more likely. Couple that, with a B-team security detail, and the chances of a successful attack are increased all the more.

Is this what we’re seeing in the case of Nigel Farage? Whether the answer is yes or no, it’s undoubtedly true that the current Government appears to be encouraging political polarisation rather than diminishing it. Someone with a pre-existing disposition to try his hand at political assassination isn’t going to be much discouraged by recent events.

Governments have always tried to influence the public; just think of Lord Kitchener’s ‘wants you’ poster from 1914. In the 1960s, 70s and 80s there were a variety of live action and cartoon characters used to promote various good causes in government information films. Controversial black studies professor Kehinde Andrews, who has previously attacked Britain and the Royal Family, claimed England’s national flag was deep-rooted in racism amid a row over a “patriotic outpouring” around the country.

An online movement called ‘Operation Raise the Colours’ has led to communities across the country hanging up Union Jack and St George’s flags, including in Birmingham, London, Bradford, Newcastle and Norwich. …

Speaking on Good Morning Britain on Tuesday, Prof Andrews weighed into the nationwide debate, telling hosts Adil Ray and Kate Garraway that the history of the flag has always been problematic and “represents racism”.

Prof Andrews, Professor of Black Studies at Birmingham City University, said: “It’s not that the far-Right has co-opted the flag. It’s that we don’t understand what this country is and the history of both of these symbols.

“Both of these flags are the flags that were flown on ships that enslaved my ancestors; those are the flags that the British Army marched into places like Pakistan, India, Bengal, Africa and colonised 25% of the world.

“The reason the far-Right picks up these flags and has consistently since the 60s, 70s, since my parents’ generation have been in the country is because these flags represent the racism that they are putting out into the world.

“This campaign of putting these flags up, this is not some benign ‘let’s just be patriotic’… go and search ‘Operation Raise the Colours’ and you will find the same far-Right, Little England, this nonsense-spewing about migrant hotels… this is what it’s about.”

One of Britain’s Wokest Councils Has Banned Staff Referring to Parents as Mum and Dad

Merton Council in South London has warned its employees not to make assumptions about a child’s biological parents. Officials say “caregivers” is more appropriate. They have also advised employees not to use the adjectives “young” and “old”. The Sun has more.

Bosses claim not saying the words “mother” and “father” helps to “recognise diverse family formation”.

The council’s 27-page inclusive language guide — obtained by The Sun using Freedom of Information laws — also tells employees not to use “young”, “old” or “mature” for fear of being ageist.

It also advises workers to use “person-centred language” — and avoid gendered phrases such as “man the desk”.

The guidance, drawn up by the debt-stricken council’s equality and diversity team, also warns: “Avoid making assumptions about preferred names or nicknames without asking the individual first.”

Free Speech Union boss Lord Young said: “I’m amazed that Merton Council has time for this nonsense.

“I can only assume fly-tipping and potholes aren’t a problem in Merton.”

Schoolchildren Taught Black People Built Stonehenge

 As part of decolonised history curricula, schoolchildren are now being taught that black people built Stonehenge and that the Roman Emperor Nero married a trans woman. The Mail has the story.

Pro-transgender teaching materials also claim that genital mutilation of slaves was a form of “gender transition”.

But landmark British victories such as those at Waterloo and Trafalgar go largely untaught – with research suggesting as few as one in ten schools include them on the curriculum.

A Policy Exchange investigation has warned that schools have “taken it too far” as they adapt history curriculums in the wake of Black Lives Matter protests.

The prestigious centre-Right unit found that George Floyd’s death in 2020 led to schools hastily including material about ethnic minorities to appear “anti-racist”.

Former history teacher and chairman of Campaign for Real Education Chris McGovern said it was ‘clear that the subject has been captured by the Left’.

The report added that some resources, such as the book Brilliant Black British History, push “contested narratives” – such as black people building Stonehenge.

The book is marketed as “a must-have in any school library” but its claim that early black Britons built the world-famous Neolithic stone circle is “hotly contested and outside mainstream historical thinking” yet “presented as fact”, according to the think-tank. …

One resource, from the Classical Association’s ‘Queering the Past’ project, claims the Roman Emperor Nero married a trans woman called Sporus but omits the fact that they probably underwent a forced castration rather than consensual gender reassignment. …

Separately, the think tank also gathered responses to Freedom of Information requests about the curriculum sent to 249 nationally-representative secondary schools.

The responses revealed the most popular curriculum topic taught to children aged 11 to 14 was the Transatlantic Slave Trade, taught in 99% of schools.

Then, a tableau vivant of DaVinci's The Last Supper"queered" to-the-max with a tattooed land-whale in the Jesus seat offering a Satan hand-signal among the swaying drag queens, plus one child ostentatiously in the mix (say, whu?). . . followed by a blue Dionysius crooning about nudity ("Nu") on a giant fruit platter, with his ball-sack clearly on display among the cherries and nectarines. . . . It rained. . .tant pis. . . . The power went out and Paris ceased to be the City of Light. Finis. . . .

Not all of Western Civ was amused by these. . . antics. Many complained that the show portrayed Christianity in a less than favorable light. Ya think? The next day, the Paris-24 organizing committee offered the world an apology of sorts. Spokesperson Anne Descamps explained that the idea was "to celebrate community tolerance." Or, shall we say, to test it? Apparently, it flunked the test. Director of the extravaganza, Thomas Jolly, said (translation), "Our intention was never to be impertinent." Of course, he lies, and of course it is the foundational premise of those in the Satanic fold to lie about everything. (Just as America's Democratic Party lies about everything.)  What a miserable existence this would be if everyone took to heart Edred Whittingham’s idiotic theory that it’s immoral to have children, since we ‘can’t guarantee there will be a habitable planet for them to grow up in’.

For anyone who missed the story, Mr W is the dim-witted Just Stop Oil activist who disrupted the World Snooker Championship in Sheffield this week by spreading orange powder over one of the tables.

Just imagine the world we’d be condemned to if every couple of child-bearing age thought: ‘Oooh! We’d better listen to Edred! People don’t throw orange powder around at sporting events, after all, unless they’re profound moral philosophers!’

First there would be no more babies, of course, then no schoolchildren. As the decades passed, there would be no able-bodied workers to keep the wheels of industry turning, till the fields to feed us, pay our pensions, fix our heating, or nurse us in sickness and old age.

I suppose Mr Whittingham is right when he says we can’t guarantee the planet will remain habitable for future generations.

Which of us, after all, can see into the future with perfect clarity?

But what we can guarantee, with absolute certainty, is that if everyone stops having babies, there will be no future generations to inhabit the planet.

I therefore find it hard to disagree with the billionaire Elon Musk, slightly cracked though he sometimes appears, when he argues this week that population collapse, with the spread of contraception and abortion, represents a far greater danger to human existence than overpopulation or global warming.

In my view, the tragedy is that so many young people appear to have fallen for the line promoted by the likes of Just Stop Oil and Extinction Rebellion.

 So, here’s a “conspiracy theory” for you. This one is about the global-capitalist thought police and their ongoing efforts to purge society of “insensitivity.” Yes, that’s right, insensitivity. If there is anything the global-capitalist thought police can’t stand, it is insensitivity. You know, like making fun of ethnic or religious minorities, and the physically or cognitively challenged, and alternatively gendered persons, and hideously ugly persons, and monstrously fat persons, and midgets, and so on.

The global-capitalist thought police are terribly concerned about the feelings of such persons. And the feelings of other sensitive persons who are also concerned about the feelings of such persons. And everybody’s feelings, generally. So they’ ossibly irreparably offend such persons, and persons concerned about the feelings of such persons, and anyone who might feel offended by anything.

By now, I assume you have seen the news about the “sensitivity editing” of Roald Dahl, the author of books like James and the Giant Peach, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, The Witches, The Twits, and numerous others. What happened was, Dahl’s publisher, Puffin Books, hired a little clutch of “sensitivity editors” to substantively rewrite his books, purging words like “fat” and “ugly,” and Dahl’s descriptions of characters as “bald” and “female,” and inserting their own ham-handed, “sensitised” language.

What you may not be aware of is that Puffin Books is a children’s imprint of Penguin Random House, a multi-national conglomerate publishing company and a subsidiary of Bertelsmann, a nominally German but in reality global media conglomerate. Penguin Random House is one of the so-called “big five publishers” that control approximately 80% of the retail book market. The other four are Simon & Schuster, Macmillan, Hachette, and Harper Collins.

Together, these five corporate behemoths, with their hundreds of divisions, publishing groups, and imprints (e.g., Puffin Books), control the majority of what everyone reads. University named after cardinal John Henry Newman slaps a content warning on the BIBLE because of its ‘themes of sexual violence and abuse’

 [David Icke]: A university named in honour of one of England’s greatest religious thinkers has issued a content warning for the Bible.

Newman University, Birmingham, tells students studying the holy book that the module ‘includes themes of sexual violence and abuse – in images and biblical texts’.

Certain passages are flagged up as especially problematic, including a chapter of 2 Samuel in the Old Testament, about David, the King of Israel who had previously slain Goliath.

Dr Michael Nazir-Ali, the former Anglican Bishop of Rochester, said: ‘Works of history, literature, theology and the classics will sometimes include material about violence, including sexual violence.

‘University should be a time when students are exposed to different aspects of the human condition, albeit with the support of sympathetic teaching staff.

‘My issue with warnings is how far do you go before you end up with some form of censorship?’

Those studying the foundations of Christian theology are also warned about a ‘description of domestic abuse’ in St Augustine’s autobiographical Confessions , written in about 400 AD.

Former Tory MP Ann Widdecombe said: ‘I can remember when children, let alone undergraduates, felt able to read all parts of the Bible without fear of coming to any harm.’

Stop Apologising To The Woke – It Only Encourages Them

[Richie Allen]: Yesterday should have been the best day of Ollie Robinson’s life. He made his debut for England at Lords and took two wickets against New Zealand. Today he’s a racist misogynistic pig who, according to many, should be banned for life.

Someone went mining Ollie’s Twitter account and found a couple of allegedly offensive Tweets he had posted nine years ago. He was eighteen years-old at the time. The tweets are immature for sure.

'Wonder if Asian people put smiley’s like this ¦)' is juvenile. He made some immature comments about sex too. So f**king what? Who cares?

After the Tweets were publicised yesterday, Robinson was forced to take the walk of shame and apologise in a hastily arranged press conference.

“I am embarrassed by the racist and sexist tweets that I posted over eight years ago, which have today become public,” he said. “I am sorry, and I have certainly learned my lesson today. I would like to unreservedly apologise to anyone I have offended, my team-mates and the game as a whole in what has been a day of action and awareness in combatting discrimination from our sport.”

I wish that Robinson had just rolled his eyes and said “F**k off!” We’d all be better off if the eternally offended were just told to f**k off once and for all.

Taking offence on behalf of somebody else has become a national obsession. It’s madness, but it’s also having a chilling effect on free speech and freedom of expression. Then again, that’s the point isn’t it?

Pretty soon, state and big tech censorship will be unnecessary. It will have been superseded by self-censorship. People will become terrified to say anything, lest someone else grab it and use it against them.

I say pretty soon, but evidence is emerging that this is already par for the course for millennials. God help them. They’re terrified of getting it wrong. Imagine dinner party conversations in ten years time. The lapses will be unbearable as guests frantically try to remember the socially accepted answer or position, before daring to speak.

We’ve all behaved badly at one time or another. We’ve all said things that we wish we hadn’t. To err is to be human. None of us are perfect. But our mistakes don’t define us. Nobody should have to fear that something they said 10 years ago or even last week, might cost them their job, or see them turned into a pariah.

Stop apologising to the woke. It only encourages them. Tell them to f**k off or ignore them.
