UN declares every nation has a legal duty to obey its climate decrees – or face the consequences
So the UN is trying to muscle in, take control and force its climate scam on all nations. The Globalist organisation has taken it upon itself to declare that its climate decrees are “international law” and nations must obey or face the consequences.
Irrespective of what the UN or any of its puppets say or do, we must never lose sight of the facts: CO2, the gas of life, is not the enemy; centralised power pretending to save the planet at the expense of liberty is....<<<Read More>>>...

UK’s Net Zero costs are soaring out of control
When the National Energy System Operator (“NESO”) produced their plan to deliver Ed Miliband’s Clean Power 2030 (“CP2030”) goal, they said that all the planned transmission grid expansion works must be built on time and that “involves twice as much in the next five years as was built in total over the last decade.” From the outset, delivering on that part of CP2030 was always a tall order.
I have been contacted by several people over the past few weeks highlighting several issues that indicate these ambitious plans (some may say fantastical) will probably not be achieved. For those of us sceptical of Net Zero generally and Clean Power 2030 in particular, this represents both good news and bad news.
First, the good news: Slipping schedules means they will not spend all the money earmarked for grid expansion, which ought to mean our bills do not go up as much as feared. The bad news is that, based on the limited data available, it looks like the costs of this work are soaring out of control.
Let’s dig into the details, beginning with the bad news so that we can end on a high note....<<<Read More>>>...

Who’s funding the campaign to push the ruinous net-zero agenda in the UK?
The Spectator calls this network the “Dark Green lobby.”
“[The Dark Green lobby] has been astonishingly successful in shaping policy, controlling debate and overruling elected governments in the courts. It has prevented the exploration of oil and gas in the North Sea, kept energy prices high and made us ever more dependent on Chinese technology,” the outlet said.
The Dark Green actor with the most influence is the Netherlands-based European Climate Foundation (“ECF”), which supports “700+ partner organisations” to “broaden political and public support for net zero.”
“The ECF hopes to ‘embed climate action in robust, future-proof frameworks that withstand political change’. In other words, sod the voters,” The Spectator said.
To this end, it spent €171 million (£146 million) last year to support climate action across Europe and beyond and has donated significant amounts of money to various British thinktanks, including...<<<Read More>>>...

Europe’s carbon rules buckle as Volkswagen weighs 100,000 job cuts
Meanwhile .... more news on the carbon is guilty lie and the mechanism is for depopulation and parasite class control.
++++++++++++++++++++
The EU is holding to its Green Deal targets — a 55% emissions cut by
2030 and net-zero by 2050 — even as its carbon market comes under
growing political attack.
Carbon costs have climbed sharply,
from an average €25 per ton in 2020 to over €100 by 2023, adding
pressure on European manufacturers.
Germany, Italy, and
Eastern European nations are demanding looser climate rules amid job
cuts at major employers like Volkswagen.
The EU's Emissions
Trading System faces political backlash, with Italy calling for
suspension and Poland and the Czech Republic securing a delay to the
ETS2 carbon-pricing scheme.
Critics, including Hungary's
energy minister, argue the EU's aggressive targets risk economic harm
while it accounts for less than 7% of global emissions.
Europe's
green agenda is colliding with economic reality, and the strain is
showing across the continent's industrial heartland. As European Union
leaders hold to their target of a net-zero economy by 2050, a growing
bloc of national governments is demanding the rules be loosened — and
some of the bloc's biggest employers are shedding jobs.
At
the center of the fight is the EU's Emissions Trading System, the
carbon market that has anchored the bloc's climate strategy since 2005.
The system charges companies for every ton of carbon dioxide they emit,
and the politics around it have turned volatile....<<<Read More>>>...

Sudden calls to return to hydrocarbon-generated energy expose the climate crisis hoax
Tony Blair’s calls to return to oil and gas, after years of global elites promoting wind and solar energy, expose the climate crisis hoax for all to see, he said.
We need to talk about cancer, by which I mean the metastasising cancer that is artificial intelligence, AI. Cancer is the multiplication of cells that have gone wrong, failed and should have died. Instead, the process gets out of control, dangerous, unwanted, rogue cells multiplying faster and faster.
I say the hard tumours of the cancer of AI are the data centres, popping up everywhere, almost always where they are least wanted. Like malignant tumours, data centres demand and monopolise more and more of the world’s precious resources. As the tumours grow and the cancer spreads, that malign hunger leaves less and less for that body, so to speak, that the body finally dies. Malignant cancerous tumours take more and more without giving.
Blackrock CEO Larry Fink says everyone must invest in AI, whether they want to or not. Eventually, all the water, all the energy, all the nutrients, if you like, will be co-opted and diverted to more and more data centres.
According to figures published by the Environmental Rights Centre for Scotland, the country where I live, projected energy requirements for data centres already planned or proposed for Scotland are between 4,450 and 4,950 megawatts. That’s more than peak demand for the whole country of Scotland in the depths of a typical winter. That is a doubling of demand for electricity before so much as a single kettle has been boiled....<<<Read More>>>....

UK Parliament needs to launch an investigation into the Clean Power 2030 plan before it does any more damage
But the plan is failing to meet its targets on cost, time and quality – and grid integration costs are soaring. It is clear the Clean Power 2030 project is off the rails, David Turver writes.
Additionally, wind- and solar-generated energy are not going to be able to meet the UK’s requirements. There will be a significant shortfall in energy supply by 2030 and it’s unclear where this energy will come from.
There are now strong grounds to launch a Parliamentary investigation into the Clean Power 2030 to get the project cancelled before any more damage is done.
Back in 2024, NESO and DESNZ outlined their Clean Power 2030 (“CP2030”) plan. That plan called for a big increase in grid spending, an ambitious rollout of wind and solar capacity and also relied on negative emissions from Bio-Energy with Carbon Capture and Storage (“BECCS”) to meet emissions targets. NESO claimed CP2030 “can be delivered without increasing costs for consumers.” DESNZ claimed that CP2030 would “build an energy system that can bring down bills for households and businesses for good.”
Recently, DESNZ released new data (ET6.1) showing the installed capacity of wind and solar at the end of 2025, and Drax announced it had got cold feet about investing in BECCS. So, what do these developments mean for Miliband’s CP2030 plan? Time to look at how well CP2030 is going against the plan. It is customary to analyse projects through three different dimensions: cost, time and quality...<<<Read More>>>....
Massive Curriculum Changes Required for UK School Geography After Met Office Climate Projections Ruled “Implausible”
Preferably by the start of the Autumn term in September.
It’s not as if teachers can argue that only the ‘high emissions’ pathway of RCP8.5 can be ignored. At the time, the Met Office only ran RCP8.5 assumptions through its super-computer, the results of which it then described as “plausible” as it promoted them in bold type. Using only RCP8.5 was justified on cost grounds since it enabled the available computer time to produce results – guesses might be a more accurate description – down to 2 kms. School resources do note that lower emissions results are available, but these were statistically derived by the Met Office from the RCP8.5 results. This means that all the Met Office projections are compromised and a thorough cleansing needs to be undertaken of all the flawed information wherever it occurs in the teaching environment....<<<Read More>>>....

The Justification for Net Zero Has Vanished with the Demise of RCP8.5
It’s now 20 years since the publication of the ‘Stern Review on the Economics of Climate Change‘ in 2006: a review commissioned by Gordon Brown, then Chancellor of the Exchequer, in a Labour government led by Prime Minister Tony Blair. This review began the UK-drive towards the crazy carbon-phobic policies which are helping to impoverish the nation, aided by unrealistic scenarios. There is some irony that Blair is now calling for the abandonment of Net Zero: when the Review was published he warned about the disaster that would come from inaction. It was his government that helped to pave the way for the excessive climate policies we have today, and scaring people was a tool of risk management, as Lord Giddens noted in the Lords March 1st 2005.
The Stern Review claimed that the risk from global warming was such that there was imminent danger to international standards of living. But in reality, the review made totally unrealistic claims in its assessment of warming and economic impacts. It brazenly asserted that there was more than a 50% risk of global temperatures rising by 5°C by the end of the century. Given that scenario, the cost of inaction would be 5% of global GDP per annum. The review called for nations to spend between 1% and 2% of GDP as a matter of urgency to reduce carbon dioxide emission by 80%. It was effectively a call for economic self-flagellation. The scary scenario outlined by Stern’s review was based on the ‘Special Report on Emissions Scenarios’ (SRES) strong A2 pathway, which morphed into the RCP8.5 which is familiar to us. The Representative Concentration Pathways (RCPs) were first proposed in 2007 and adopted by the IPCC’s ‘Fifth Assessment Report’ (AR5) of 2014. While RCP8.5 was an extreme and unlikely scenario, like its forerunner SRES A2 it was widely treated as the ‘business as usual’ case by climate alarmists....<<<Read More>>>...

Trump says “good riddance” to the implausible IPCC future climate change scenario
The Heartland Institute reacts to President Donald Trump’s remark.
Representative Concentration Pathway 8.5 (“RCP 8.5”) is a high-emissions climate scenario used by the United Nations’ (“UN’s”) Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (“IPCC”) to model future climate change. It was formally adopted in the IPCC Fifth Assessment Report (AR5) in 2014.
RCP 8.5 has been used by corporate media for years to push unfounded claims of catastrophic global warming due to “emissions” from human activity. However, a recent study has concluded that RCP 8.5’s scenario is “implausible.” The study is notable because it is being used to establish the new scenario framework for the upcoming IPCC Seventh Assessment Report due in 2029.
That RCP 8.5 was b*ll*cks has been known for a long time. But, despite this being pointed out by many – including by believers in anthropogenic climate change alarmism – the misinformation and disinformation propagated by corporate media and others continued.
On hearing the “implausible” admission, US President Donald Trump said, “Good riddance!” A comment which corporate media and “fact checkers” have been busy debunking and demonising him for. In the following, The Heartland Institute gives its reaction to President Trump’s remark....<<<Read More>>>....

IPCC Admits Apocalyptic Climate Scenarios Are “Implausible” – Meaning Most Media Scare Stories Over Last 15 Years Are Officially Junk
Others might observe that we have not heard the last of RCP8.5. Its gross misuse is likely to be given a starring, central role when the history of the Great Climate and Net Zero Scam comes to be written.
Pielke lays it out clearly what has happened:
What matters today is that the group with official responsibility for developing climate scenarios for the IPCC and broader research community has now admitted that the scenarios that have dominated climate research, assessment and policy during the past two cycles of the IPCC assessment process are implausible. They describe impossible futures.
He goes on to note that tens of thousands of research papers have been and continue to be published using these scenarios. In addition, a similar number of media headlines have “amplified their findings”, while governments and international organisations have built these implausible scenarios into policy and regulation....<<<Read More>>>....

Climate change and biotechnology agendas merge, as promoted by Associated Press
The claim was made to promote their “solution”: Genetic engineering of the natural world.
Conservation genomics, AP said, will help species adapt faster than evolution normally allows. And of course, so AP claimed, reducing emissions and protecting habitats is also necessary.
Anthony Watts explains why AP is talking a load of baloney.
The Associated Press (“AP”) claims in ‘Climate change is outpacing evolution. Scientists are using DNA to catch up’ that climate change is moving so fast that species cannot adapt quickly enough, forcing scientists to intervene genetically. This is ridiculous and false. The dramatic comparison between evolutionary timescales and modern warming is rhetorically powerful but scientifically shallow, and it ignores how evolution, ecological adaptation and climate variability actually work.
The article opens with the declarative line, “Evolution works over millennia. Climate change is moving far faster.” That framing sets up the entire scare narrative. It suggests an unprecedented mismatch between biology and climate that will inevitably result in ecosystem collapse.
But the time comparison AP made is completely irrelevant.....<<<Read More>>>...

The Jevons Paradox Explains Why Net Zero is an Exercise in Futility
If the bloke who stood, with sandwich boards proclaiming “the end of the world is nigh” in my childhood town had had access to social media, who knows, he may have become the Greta Thunberg of his day, with millions hanging on his every word.
Greta always puts me in mind of two characters: one fictional, Violet Elizabeth Bott of Just William fame, the spoilt brat from next-door who would yell, “I’ll thcream and thcream till I’m thick!” (translation: I’ll scream and scream until I’m sick); and, Elizabeth Barton, the Holy Maid of Kent, who almost brought down Henry VIII, so popular were her visions and prophecies.
While Greta chucked in school when she was about 12, Barton never went. Despite this, and again, like Greta, Barton met repeatedly with Henry’s senior ministers, though her meetings ended rather less well for her than did Greta’s. It was Thomas Cromwell who, worried that the Barton cult was getting out of hand, had her executed on trumped up charges and a number of her followers hung, drawn and quartered.
Perhaps humans are pre-programmed to adopt apocalyptic cults. After all, the Abrahamic religions all anticipate the end of the world as we know it. Christian breakaway sects, such as the Jehovah’s Witnesses and Christadelphians, appear to expect Judgement Day any time soon, but perhaps no sooner than those ‘green’ zealots who set up a trestle table each Saturday in our town square, cover it with baize and pamphlets and, literally, try and frighten the children. Ironically, their pitch is immediately opposite the Jehovah’s Kingdom Hall! Take your pick, they’re all selling the same thing....<<<Read More>>>...

Scientists Pump 65,000 Litres of Chemicals into Ocean to “Stop Global Warming” in Geoengineering Project
Last August, 65,000 litres of bright red chemicals were pumped into the Gulf of Maine – yet this wasn’t an enormous industrial disaster.
Instead, it was a controversial geoengineering experiment that scientists claim could help to slow down global warming.
The oceans already hold around 38,000 billion tonnes of CO2, trapped as dissolved sodium bicarbonate, or baking soda.
The geoengineering method known as Ocean Alkalinity Enhancement (OAE) aims to speed up this natural process by resetting the ocean’s pH.
Over four days, scientists added vast quantities of sodium hydroxide – an alkaline chemical tagged with a red dye – to the waters off the coast of Boston.
Making the ocean more alkaline should encourage it to absorb even more CO2 from the atmosphere.
However, critics have warned that the potential effects on marine life remain uncertain.
Gareth Cunningham, Director of Conservation and Policy at the Marine Conservation Society, told the Daily Mail: “These approaches are resource-intensive and their ecological impacts are still poorly understood.”
For years, scientists have put forward OAE as one of the leading potential solutions to climate change.
In theory, the novel approach could solve two problems at once by locking away excess CO2 from the atmosphere and fixing the oceans’ rising acidity.
Without an ‘antacid’ like sodium hydroxide to react with, CO2 dissolving in the oceans forms a mild acid that has slowly but surely reduced the pH level.
This is already having catastrophic effects on sea life, as the acid dissolves marine creatures’ shells, damages coral, and even wears away sharks’ teeth.
The LOC-NESS (Locking Ocean Carbon in the Northeast Shelf and Slope) project is the first large-scale experiment to test the impact of OAE in an open water setting.
With approval from the US Environmental Protection Agency and engagement with local fishermen, scientists from the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution poured alkaline chemicals into the ocean 50 miles (80 km) off the Massachusetts coast.
They then used cutting-edge technology, including autonomous gliders, long-range autonomous underwater vehicles and shipboard sensors to track the spreading chemicals.
Over the next few days, the scientists measured 10 tonnes of carbon entering the water as the pH increased from 7.95 to 8.3 – matching pre-industrial levels.
In the best-case scenario, the researchers estimate that the sodium hydroxide would absorb about 50 tonnes of carbon over the next year, equivalent to the average yearly emissions of five UK citizens....<<<Read More>>>...

When Climate Data Don’t Match the Climate Story
But what if that core assumption is far less robust than advertised?
My answer came in an analysis published last month in Science of Climate Change that used my background as a finance academic the way a financial analyst would interrogate a market hypothesis. In finance, no matter how elegant a theory looks, you still test it against hard data. If the numbers don’t confirm the model, the model gives way, not the other way around..
The starting point is uncontroversial: since the 19th Century both CO2 and global temperatures have risen. The correlation is visually potent. But anyone who has worked with time series knows how deceptive such correlations can be. Ice-cream sales and shark attacks rise together in summer; that doesn’t make one the cause of the other. Two trending variables will often appear tightly linked even when the relationship is entirely coincidental.
Econometricians therefore strip out time trends and examine how annual changes relate to each other. Does each year’s increase in CO2 reliably produce a corresponding nudge in temperature? When we look at the data since reliable measurements began around 1960, the answer is awkward. CO2 has risen sharply, yet the rate of temperature change has not moved in lockstep. In fact, the annual changes diverge. If CO2 were the master control knob, you would expect accelerations in CO2 to march closely with accelerations in temperature. They don’t.
I stress-tested this across multiple temperature and CO2 datasets. The result was the same: the neat, linear linkage between CO2 levels and temperature weakens once you look beneath the headline trend. The famous correlation appears, at least in part, to be a statistical mirage...<<<Read More>>>...

Scientists warn against solar geoengineering: Dimming the sun could trigger climate chaos, famine and global conflict
Solar geoengineering proposes spraying reflective particles like sulfur dioxide (SO2) into the atmosphere to mimic volcanic cooling effects.
However, climate models are idealized and fail to account for real-world
unpredictability, risking severe unintended consequences.
SAI
could destabilize global weather patterns, causing extreme floods,
droughts and freezing events. Injections near the poles may disrupt
tropical monsoons, threatening food supplies for billions.
Sulfur
dioxide causes acid rain, poisoning water and soil, while prolonged
exposure corrodes lungs. Alternative materials (like diamond dust) are
impractical or scarce, and particles may clump unpredictably in the
atmosphere. Once started, stopping SAI could trigger
"termination shock" – rapid, deadly temperature spikes. Centralized
control risks geopolitical conflict, as nations or billionaires could
weaponize climate manipulation, leading to resource wars.
SAI
aligns with globalist elites like Bill Gates and the World Economic
Forum, who push population control under environmental pretexts. Instead
of dangerous technocratic fixes, real solutions include renewable
energy, regenerative agriculture and decentralized self-sufficiency.
As
the climate debate intensifies, a controversial and dangerous
"solution" has emerged from the shadows: stratospheric aerosol injection
(SAI), a form of solar geoengineering backed by globalist figures like
Bill Gates.
Proponents claim that spraying reflective
particles into the atmosphere could cool the planet by mimicking
volcanic eruptions. However, a coalition of 60 scientists is now
sounding the alarm. They warned that SAI could unleash catastrophic
weather disruptions, geopolitical instability and even worsen climate
change—all while serving as a smokescreen for the elite's true
depopulation agenda....<<<Read More>>>....

The Net Zero, extreme weather, climate science consensus is breaking apart as COP30 nears
Some 70,000 grifter scientists, activists, politicians and journalists (plus observers) will attend.
Despite pre-summit hype and proclamations of hope, the summiteers are nervous. Why? Because the Net Zero, extreme weather, climate science consensus is breaking apart, Paul Driessen writes.
The 30th Conference of the Parties on climate change (“COP30”) will promote its climate, energy and economic fantasies and demands from 10 to 21 November in Belém, Brazil. Some 70,000 grifter scientists, activists, politicians and journalists (plus observers) will attend.
Despite pre-summit hype and proclamations of hope, the summiteers are nervous.
Increasing evidence demonstrates that claims of a planetary crisis are rooted in meaningless computer models and fearmongering, not in actual science, data or fact.

Even the CLIMATE CULT leaders are abandoning their own FAKE global warming narrative and funding AI and fossil fuels
In her October 2, 2025, column for Bloomberg Opinion, Lara Williams argues that the political and corporate commitment to ambitious climate action is increasingly fragile, with world leaders and powerful industries retreating from their own pledges. Though climate rhetoric remains widespread, concrete policies are being delayed, watered down, or quietly abandoned. Williams suggests that this retreat signals a deeper collapse of the green movement in the face of mounting energy demands from technological change.
World leaders like UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer, US President Donald Trump, and EU officials are increasingly accused of backtracking on climate commitments, with delays on emissions targets and deforestation rules undermining pledges.
Despite public reassurances from figures like Ursula von der Leyen, the EU remains divided on climate policy, reflecting a broader global failure: 74% of Paris Agreement signatories have not submitted updated 2025 targets, while governments plan to produce far more fossil fuels than climate goals allow.
The explosive growth of artificial intelligence, cloud computing, and data centers is driving unprecedented energy demand, making tech companies like Microsoft backtrack on carbon-negative promises and prioritize energy access over green commitments.
Analysts suggest the “green energy revolution” is faltering under the weight of soaring energy consumption, with tech firms, financial institutions, and media companies shifting focus from climate goals to securing vast, cheap power supplies—potentially aligning them with Trump-era policies....<<<Read More>>>...

The whole world is disillusioned with climate politics, except for the UK
Ahead of COP30, by February 2025, countries were supposed to have submitted updated national climate plans to the United Nations (“UN”).
Of the 197 countries that are UN members, only one country has submitted its national climate action plan that is compatible with the Paris Agreement – the United Kingdom.
In the following, IER briefly describes how the attitude around climate politics is changing globally.
The following is an extract from the article ‘US Carbon Emissions per Capita Declined in All US States Between 2005 and 2023’ published by the Institute for Energy Research (“IER”) on 23 September 2025.
The writer of the article supports the scam to “reduce emissions” in the energy sector, taking the view that “lowering emissions without dampening human progress requires providing energy companies with the liberty to innovate.” So, we haven’t reproduced the whole article. We feel that if people want to indulge in the narrative that supports the climate change alarmists’ scam, they can tune into British left-wing television, such as the BBC or Channel 4 or listen to what Keir Starmer, Ed Miliband and their many helpers have to say....<<<Read More>>>...

Ed Miliband Costs Britain One Billion Barrels of North Sea Oil
For Ed Miliband, it’s a truly awkward moment.
His own statisticians have released data showing that Britain’s North Sea will produce a billion barrels of oil and gas fewer than expected between now and 2050 – with analysts linking the downgrade to Labour’s imposition of 78% taxes and a ban on new drilling.
The assessment, by the North Sea Transition Authority (NSTA), the Government regulator that reports to Mr Miliband, suggests the UK will have to import a far higher proportion of its oil and gas over the next 25 years.
According to a separate analysis, the accelerated decline of the North Sea could see half the 200,000 jobs it supports destroyed by 2030.
Many of those will be in Scotland, where elections due next year make such potential losses seriously risky for Labour’s prospects.
“We have already seen a 10% reduction in output – equating to 100,000 barrels of oil a day, replaced by imports,” said Chris Wheaton, an energy analyst with investment bank Stifel. “This will increase the longer the windfall tax stays in place – reaching 20% below previous forecasts by 2030.”
The downgrade in North Sea output emerges from comparing the production projections published by the NSTA in 2023 – before the election – with the latest versions, just published.
In autumn 2023, the NSTA predicted the UK would produce oil and gas equivalent to 681 million tonnes of oil between 2025 and 2050.
In the latest equivalent data, this has now been slashed to 557 million tonnes. The ‘lost’ 124 million tonnes equates to a billion barrels of oil....<<<Read More>>>...

MET OFFICE SHOCK: UK Temperature Network Goes From Bad to Even Worse in Just 18 Months
World Meteorological Organisation (WMO) Classes 4 and 5 in its CIMO scale come with ‘uncertainties’ up to 2°C and 5°C respectively, and a Freedom of Information (FOI) request found that 77.9% of its sites were in these two ‘junk’ categories. It should have been a wake-up call demanding immediate improvement of the nationwide network, not least because the Met Office frequently catastrophises its temperature figures in the interest of promoting the Net Zero fantasy.
Alas, no. A new FOI has found that the Classes 4 and 5 junk sites have increased significantly over the last 18 months and now total an appalling 80.6% of the entire network. Pristine Class 1 sites – which measure a credible ambient air temperature with little chance of unnatural heat corruption – are just 4.9% of the total, having fallen in number in this short period from 24 to 19....<<<Read More>>>...
